Due to the complex timing sequence of NAND flash, a unified design process is urgently required to guarantee the reliability of storage system of nano-satellite. Unified Modeling Language (UML) is a widely used high level modeling language for object-oriented design. This paper adopts the UML as the design and modelling tool in the low level storage system design to elaborate the UML application in each phase of design in detail. The result shows taking UML as the modelling tool results in a clear and unambiguity design, which promotes the reliability and quality of software. At last, the feasibility of object-oriented implementation in C is presented.

<p>Being concerned with (what has hitherto been) a marginal and under-researched area of Translation Studies, viz. intralingual translation, this paper focuses on the particular type of monolingual rewriting which consists in the transformation of specialized LSP texts into a new text type aimed at lay readership. As a specific example of this type of transformation, the paper investigates the rewriting of pharmaceutical product specifications into medicinal package inserts (so-called patient information leaflets). In Translation Studies terms, in other words, the pharmaceutical texts are treated as source texts and the patient information leaflets as target texts. The paper examines certain core intralingual translation <em>strategies </em>employed to make the specialized information accessible to the non-expert audience. The focus is primarily on strategies employed to convert medical terminology into more lay-friendly wordings. The exact linguistic nature of these strategies is examined, and the ways in which they contribute to target-text lay-friendliness are charted.</p>

The need for high-quality crumb rubber in West Sumatra tends to increase. However, the amount and quality of rubber from suppliers belong to weak caused by the bad monitoring systems, the supply cannot be met properly, and there is a lot of shrinkage in rubbers purchased by the company. Therefore this research was carried by implementing the Decision Support System (DSS) which was expected to help facilitate supplier data searches and evaluate the supplier's performance. The first stage in this research was designing DSS included the use of Unified Modeling Language (UML) diagram and database design. Next, built an applicable software using Personal Home Page (PHP), My Structured Query Language (MySQL), and Apache. An advantage of DSS designed was to accommodate differences and changes in rubber supplier assessment criteria according to the consideration of each crumb rubber industry in West Sumatra. There were 3 of 11 main crumb rubber criteria assessed. The results of these 3 criteria were obtained highest weight, namely Dryness (0.18), cleanliness (0.15), and consistency of quality (0.10). While the previous performance obtained the lowest weight (0.05). This meant that the criteria of dryness, cleanliness, and consistency of quality, will be the main considerations for companies in ranking and evaluating suppliers who work with companies.

Companies that are engaged in general trading, suppliers and distributors for the procurement of goods or equipment and services to assist the operations and management of companies, especially improving company services in the field of drinking water are still using manual systems, where data is reported in written form, making it difficult , ineffective and efficient in inputting data and searching for goods. Therefore, this study proposes making a control inventory system to create a faster, more precise and accurate system. The analysis and modeling systems for programs use unified modeling language (UML) as a tool to help in object-oriented programming languages which are then implemented with the php programming language and use MySQL as a database. From this study, an inventory system can be produced that can monitor stock of goods in the warehouse properly, effectively and efficiently so that it can support services and improve customer satisfaction.

Nowadays there are so many people who are surviving on only one meal per day. Especially in developing countries, it is one of the major problems. On the other hand, there is so much wastage of food every day. Some poor people need clothes and vessels, and children need some books and study kits. Solution to this is that we only need to donate the leftover food to needy people, charities, and our old stuff. For that to happen, we need some sort of platform. This could be any online platform like a website/web application. In Saudi Arabia, there are so many people who are capable of making donations and also there are so many Nongovernmental Organizations (NGOs) which are helping poor and needy people of Saudi Arabia. But to connection gap is not as blur as it should be. There has to be some simple, fast, intuitive and secure way of doing such online donations so that users can donate easily with just a click. The aim of this work is to design and develop a Web Based Online charitable Donation System. Where, the charitable website will collect the charitable donations (such as clothes, toys, school tools) and delivers it to the children who need it. The proposed system will provide voluntary opportunities for those wishing to be volunteer in delivering the donations to the homes of the poor for free. The proposed work was designed and developed using the Unified Modeling Language (UML), SQL Server for implemented the database, and ASP.net and Visual basic programming languages.

The Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia is an archipelagic country most of which is in the form of water. In maintaining the security and integrity of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia, several Navy bases were built which spread from Sabang to Merauke. In terms of meeting the needs of military supplies for soldiers throughout the territory of Indonesia, an Information System for monitoring the distribution of military supplies is needed that is transparent, timely, on target so that any military supplies distributed can be received by each soldier under their respective rights. So far, there is no information system in the process of distributing military supplies, so it is very difficult to monitor the distribution of military supplies, so there are often delays and even wrong deliveries. This study aims to design an information system that can monitor the distribution of military supplies from the top units to the lowest units throughout Indonesia to reduce errors that are still happening in the field in terms of the distribution of military supplies using the Unified Modeling Language (Unified Modeling Language) method. UML) such as Use Case Diagrams, Class Diagrams, and Activity Diagrams. The result of this research is to be able to create an Information System that is under functional and non-functional needs that can handle the problems that have existed so far in terms of monitoring the distribution of military supplies so that there are no delays in the distribution of military supplies.

The service process in some schools is still running ineffectively, due to the aging process, such as the use of ledgers for archiving and recording of data that is managed, this requires a long time and a large cost, so it is deemed ineffective and inefficient. To overcome this problem, a computerized system is needed so that it can overcome the problem and be able to assist in speeding up the process, besides that it can improve the quality of service. This study proposes the design of a one-stop integrated service information system automatically using various methods including methods of data collection through the process of observation and interviews, current and expected analysis methods using pieces to evaluate performance and design methods using uml (unified modeling language) which includes usecase diagrams, squares diagrams and activity diagrams as tools to describe object-oriented programming languages and the use of mysql for database management, which in turn will produce a wellintegrated system. So this research can improve the quality of school services.
