The aim of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) method to cultivate students’ literacy. By using the marquee model, the students can focus on writing which would be the topic of problems that would be discussed through the PBL method. The method used a quasi experimental design. The result of this research showed that PBL method through Marquee media was effective to improve the literacy culture of students at Universitas Hasyim Asy’ari (UNHASY) Tebuireng Jombang. The literacy culture before using PBL method through Marquee was 75% of children rarely do literacy activities. After using PBL method through Marquee was 90% children often do literacy activities. Hence, it can be concluded that the problem basic learning (PBL) method through marquee can improve the students’ literacy culture of Indonesian language and literature education, mathematics education. Because there was an increase from 75% to 90% of students who like to read, this indicates that PBL through marquee was effective in improving literacy culture. Covid-19 is a highly contagious virus and spreads very quickly throughout the world. This has a broad impact on all segments of social life, including education. Responding to this, the Indonesian government temporarily eliminates the teaching and learning process in schools and conducts learning from home. Educators are required to be able to provide instruction to students in accordance with this situation and condition faced. Therefore, it is important for teachers to understand the learning styles of their students as an orientation for determining appropriate learning media. This study explores the learning styles of students at Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Semarang and discovers the most suitable learning media in accordance with the students’ learning styles. The results showed that visual learning style was the most preferred so instructional videos were found as the most appropriate teaching media.

This article was to determine the validity, practicality testing and effectiveness of human rights learning. The method used research and develeopment (RnD) that aims to develop multimedia Viktif HAM teaching materials, to test the effectiveness of teaching materials in achieving learning objectives. The results showed that in the developing Viktif HAM teaching materials, was knowing potential problems and collecting data, making prototypes of teaching materials, conducting expert validation and revision, small and large scale field trials. Based on the results of expert validation, the developed teaching materials were in the very valid category with an average validation score of 89.2% in all aspects of assessment. Students as respondents also gave a positive response with a questionnaire score of 92.5% showing a very valid quality without revision. The effectiveness of the use of Viktif HAM teaching materials in lectures was calculated by analyzing the results of pre and post tests using N-Gain showing an average of 0.77. Hence, it can be concluded that Viktif HAM human rights teaching materials were effectively used for human rights learning. Keywords:  Human Rights Learning, Interactive Video, Teaching Materials

Education was very important in human intelligence. This article aimed to describe the model of education policy analysis. This research used a qualitative approach in library studies. The results showed that the education policy model consisted of three things namely (1) formulation model, (2) analysis model, and (3) implementation model. The formulation model consists of institutional models, system models, mixed investigation models, process models, elite theory models, rational models, critical models, strategic models, deliberative models. Meanwhile, the education policy analysis model consists of a prospective, retrospective, and integrative models. The implementation model consists of top-down and bottom-up models. The results of education policy analysis used in Indonesia use more political policy analysis models based on political assumptions. This article aimed to promote English in elementary school students through a fun learning method, called the Fun English Camp. Several studies had been conducted to encounter the best solution to handle this issue. The researchers used PRISMA Protocol as an instrument to collect the data that has been widely used in the process of selecting relevant articles. The researchers reviewed twenty five scientific publications, related to Fun English Camp that has become an English learning approach for beginner students. Through a review of twenty five scientific publications, for instance book and journal, the researchers got scientific evidence that introduction of a learning method with the term Fun English camp has an impact on promoting language learning for elementary school children in Indonesia. Thus, the fun English camp method can be an interesting method to be applied by elementary school curriculum design in Indonesia. Keywords: English Camps, Learning Method, Fun English Learning

This article analyzed online board discussions' effectiveness as an alternative learning method in response to health protocol policies and compulsory education during Indonesia's pandemic emergency. Since COVID-19 hit in the world, WHO and UNESCO have obliged all countries has been applying technology-assisted distance learning. To get the learning application's effectiveness using the online discussion board method. The researcher analyzed fifteen findings of learning experts during the pandemic, which were published in international journals. The researcher analyzed qualitatively through coding, in-depth interpretation and concluding and ensures that the findings were valid and reliable. The results showed that the online discussion board has become an alternative method during learning during the COVID-19 period, such as podcast applications, ZOOM, Google Classroom. Therefore, the researcher recommends that applying this online discussion as most method was recommended to improve learning and maintain safety during a pandemic. Improving the quality of learning is an important factor that supports the achievement of progress in the field of education. In order to improve the quality of learning, it is necessary to apply innovative learning that follows the student-oriented learning paradigm. This study aims to describe the application of the Problem-based Learning Model by utilizing the environment as a learning resource to improve learning outcomes in biology. This classroom action research consisting of 2 research cycles and each cycle consists of four stages: (1) planning; (2) implementing actions; (3) observation and evaluation; (4) reflection. The study was conducted at Model 5 High School Palu. The subject of this research is Class X MIPA with 28 students. In this study the focus of learning material on biodiversity. The instruments used were student worksheets, student and teacher activity sheets, and student learning outcomes tests. The research data were displayed as a percentage and analyzed descriptively.  The learning outcomes of Class X Science 6 of SMA Negeri 5 Palu can be improved through the application of PBL learning models through the use of the environment. In cycle 1 students 'classical completeness was 71.66, while students' classical completeness in cycle 2 increased by 88.09. The classical absorption achieved in cycle 1 was 62.16%, increasing to 91.89% in cycle 2.

As a public institution that has a mandate to manage the waqf cash fund, the waqf agency is required to be capable of managing the cash waqf fund and implementing the principles of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) as a form of responsibility to public The impact of the implementation of GCG itself, in addition to improve the level of public trust, will increase the amount of fund accepted by the waqf agency. This research aims to describe the management of cash waqf and to analyze the implementation of Good Corporate Governance (GCG) principles respectively done and in BWU/T MUI DIY in the management of cash waqf. This is a qualitative-descriptive research using a case study approach aimed to describe the reality of the cash waqf management and the implementation of GCG principles in BWU/T MUI DIY. The results were then analyzed or measured using the theories relevant with the issues concerned. In addition, this research used SWOT analysis to observe the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges in managing the cash waqf faced by the BWU/T MUI DIY. Based on the results of the research, it can be found that in the management of the cash waqf done by BWUT MUI DIY overall has been implemented in accordance with the existing laws, either from legislation, regulation of religion minister, and regulation issued by BWI. Meanwhile for the implementation of GCG principles in the management of cash waqf done by BWUT MUI DIY recently has not been done maximally. Of five basic principles of GCG including transparency, accountability, responsibility, independence and fairness, in fact there are only two principles conducted entirely that is the principle of independence and fairness. On the other hand, the principles of transparency, accountability, and responsibility have not been applied entirely.

Law Number 23, 2009 concerning Environmental and Management Protection has been running for eleven years. This law still needs a lot of evaluation, especially at the level of implementation or implementation. One of them is related to the sanction for corporations that do environmental damage. There are three types of sanctions that can be given to corporations, namely: civil, criminal and administrative. However, all this time the three did not provide a deterrent effect. As a result, the rights of affected citizens to get a healthy environment are also ignored. For this reason, this paper focused on how is the Analysis of corporate sanctions of perpetrators of waste dumping without permission viewed from a Human Rights perspective? This study uses a juridical normative research method, by analyzing secondary data in the form of laws and regulations related to sanctions for corporations that carry out waste dumping without permission. The results of the study found that the analysis of corporate sanctions for the perpetrators of waste dumping without permission did not represent the protection of human rights for the community. Legal fissures make the corporation can continue its activities and make it possible to do environmental damage again. It is necessary to maximize the application of the highest alternative sanctions by paying attention to human and community rights around the location of waste dumping where the quality of water, air, and soil has deteriorated.

Many students find it difficult to learn mathematics. This is partly due to the view that mathematics is far from real-life and culture. Whereas, in real life, mathematics is very closely related to the reality of life, one of which is culture. In Lampung's culture, mathematics is presented in many ways such as buildings and others. This research was conducted to increase awareness that the concept of mathematics is very close and related to the cultural value of the community through the exploration of the ethnomathematics concept which has been practiced by the Lampung community, especially on Tapis and traditional houses. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the concept of Tapis and traditional houses of Lampung have used the concept of mathematics, such as a flat structure. The concept of mathematics in Lampung cultural values ​​is expected to be used as a source of learning mathematics in school as well as being expected to increase students' love for local culture.
