As time goes, the pace of growth and social functioning of the physical and socio-economic areas of Jabodetabek (Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, and Bekasi) experienced rapid development, so the policy of national spatial and policy The provincial spatial of West Java emphasized the need for adequate infrastructure development to make the city of Bogor ideal as a buffer area (hinterland) of DKI Jakarta. Referring to the condition of development dynamics of Bogor City, two important things to consider are changes in land use and spatial planning, because city drainage problems arise due to these changes. then to anticipate these problems, it is necessary to immediately review the Bogor City drainage masterplan, and it is necessary to study the material and formulate alternative solutions in the area that will be prioritized for handling. This study aimed to discuss about the arrangement of areas that will be prioritized for handling, based on Peraturan Menteri Pekerja Umum No. 12 Tahun 2014 about concerning Procedures for Planning a City Drainage System. This study can be used as a recommendation to determine priority areas for Central Bogor District.

Semarang is the capital city of Central Java Province, as a metropolitan city, Semarang has the capablity to support the rapid development of the city , one of the evident is the highly of activity on physical infrastucture, one of them is the construction of residential areas along the high rate of population growth. Settlement area development activities emerge the negatively impact to reduce the existence of open space area. This study uses a quantitative method through positivistic approach. Research data presented by the form of figures and the analysis using the statistics. This study was first carried out in 2006 and 2011 to analyze the spatial through digitized the image map of Semarang, and the results of the digitization of spatial land area of open space and a residential area, which is used to formulate some stage subsequent analysis: 1) Identification and analysis of the influence of the development of residential areas against the open space in the city, 2) Analysis of the acceleration of the projected change of land per year in Semarang in 2006-2020, 3) Analysis of the application of open space 30% (sample in District Tembalang). The result of this analysis showed the relationship between the relevant mutual influence. The rate of population growth and development of residential areas with a relationship of mutual influence supply and demand. Then, as the development of residential areas causes the reduction of open space. In additon, the background of this problem is how to formulate the recommendations to control the land use plan , in order to create an ideal city land use in the future.

City is a space that serves as a center place of activities, over time the city was experiencing growth and development, both physical and non-physical conditions. So these conditions affect the change in the pattern of land use, activity system as well as the pattern of people and goods mobility that are happening in the urban system. The phenomenon of the emergence of new urban areas (cities and towns) in IKK Gemolong causes changes in land use patterns along the road corridor is experiencing rapid development, it is evidenced by the increased activity and physical growth of the city. The conditions were observed with the growth of new activities such as residential, commercial district and other commercial areas. So that it will affect land use patterns, activities systems and people and goods mobility patterns that occur, which in turn will affect the characteristics of the spatial structure of the development of IKK Gemolong formed as a town in Sragen. The focus of discussion such as land use, population activity systems, as well as the people and goods mobility which the influencing factors of the formation of the spatial structure of a city. The study is considered important because as the basis for consideration in the development of towns in the future. This is because the policy of urban development continues in administrative and sectoral nature, so the presence of the regional autonomy policy of development with regional and integrated system and assessed more quickly to implement. This study used quantitative an quantitative study method. The analysis results indicated the characteristics of land use in Gemolong dominated by settlements, while the commercial district developed along the main streets of this town because Gemolong have function as service centers for its surrounding areas. The residents of Gemolong mostly have work in the non-agricultural sectors, such as trade and services, while the population as a farmer is relatively small, so that these conditions indicated that Gemolong says as urban area. The people mobility in Gemolong originated from both internal and external area of the town in destination location of commercial areas to have studying, working, shopping and other purposes. The residents of Gemolong do not have to big cities to access the daily life necessities for since it is already available in Gemolong. Based on the phenomenon of Gemolong have a compact city type of development, while the structure of urban spaces that were formed have view more functioning of each of the regions even though the condition is still occurring mixture of functions. Then, the structure of urban spaces is the type of sector, although not as ideal as yet which happened in developed countries.

Spatial plan is the result of spatial planning which is done through the process and procedure of arranging and determining based on the prevailing laws and regulations. The phenomenon that often happens is the deviation of existing land use with spatial plan. Sumedang Regency is experiencing a fairly rapid development, so there is an increase in human resource activity that implicate the widespread space needs and consequently deviation of land use is very vulnerable. The purpose of this study to determine the extent of deviation of land use occurs as well as what factors affect the occurence of irregular use of land. The analysis used in this study using GIS approach, Principal Component Analysis and Multiple Regression Analysis. The result of analysis shows that there are 25 types of deviation of existing land use and the most dominant is deviation into wetland (18,364 ha), dryland field (8,405 ha) and widened land (7,741 ha). While the factors that influence the occurence of deviation of land use are population and settlement, availability of land, infrastructure and accessibility, and sosioeconomic condition of society

<p>In the last years, Albania underwent a rapid development, which resulted in an uncontrolled building boom and general land degradation. For these reasons, an ever-greater portion of the Albanian population is exposed to natural risks, whose major threats are represented by floods and earthquakes. Spatial planning and hydraulic risk management are a worldwide necessity which is best achieved when natural and artificial elements located closely to watercourses are known in detail. A geodatabase is a practical tool to store and manage such information. Land use and land cover changes have negative consequences on watershed management in Buna River Basin. They increase impervious ground surfaces, decrease infiltration rate and increase runoff rate, hence causing flood during the dry seasons. This study was undertaken to achieve the natural and artificial elements connected to hydraulic risk and fluvial dynamics in Buna River. Through a GIS overlay and GPS measurements where mapped elements include buildings, hydraulic works, weirs, drainage outlets, riverbanks, structural damages, fluvial bars and eroding banks. Consequently, a GIS geo database was built to visualize the spatial distribution of the mapped elements and to store a series of technical data, including the present preservation condition for man-made objects. GPS data was integrated in GIS to examine the extent of land use and cover change in the sub catchment of Buna River. Both quantitative and qualitative data were used for this study.&#160; The geo database provides an overview of the territories connected with the fluvial dynamics, highlighting that in the studied territory; the more is urbanized, the more it is exposed to hydraulic risk.</p><p><strong>Key word;</strong> spatial planning, natural hazards, relief drill, Buna river, Shkoder.</p>

Abstract The rapid development of the city has resulted in the development of development in each city getting more massive with a relatively fast duration of development. This has very significant impacts on the livelihoods of the people. One of the impacts is flooding that occurs due to wrong land use and improper drainage makers. Drainage as a diversion system for excess water is needed to divert water that falls into the road body and tackle inundation that occurs when it rains. This is intended to reduce the risk of accidents due to slipping of tires due to water. The planning of the road surface drainage system in the case of the Budiman Kota Tembilahan road needs important attention in order to avoid flooding or accidents. In this study, an analysis of drainage planning was carried out with a simulation using hecras 4.0 software to simulate the planned drainage conditions on Jalan Budiman, Tembilahan city. After collecting data on the length of the drainage channel on Jalan Budiman, Tembilahan city and Catchment for the residential area on Jalan Budiman, Tembilahan city, as well as rainfall data for the last 10 years, the planned discharge and drainage for the drainage of Jalan Budiman, Tembilahan city are Qrencana = 0,141 m3/dt dan Qsaluran = 0,264 m3/dt dimana Qs > Qr with a rectangular cross section. Then the calculation simulation can be done using HEC-RAS 4.0 software. The results of the analysis of the drainage planning of Tembilahan city roads state that the planned drainage using hecras simulations based on manual calculations is able to accommodate discharge and no runoff. Keywords: Hec ras 4.0, discharge , simulation Abstrak Pesatnya perkembangan kota mengakibatkan perkembangan pembangunan pada tiap – tiap kota semakin masif dengan durasi perkembangan yang relatif cepat.

Urbanisation rapidly accelerated in the 20th century. Along with the increasing dynamics of this phenomenon, the desire to know its origins and its course as well as to anticipate its effects is also growing. Investigations into the mechanisms governing urbanisation have become the subject of numerous studies and research projects. In addition, there has been a rapid increase in the number of tools and methods used to track and measure this phenomenon. However, new methods are still being sought to identify changes in space caused by urbanisation. Some of the indicators of urbanisation processes taking place include quantitative, qualitative and structural changes in land use, occurring at a certain time and place. These processes, related to human activity at a given time and in a given area, are determined by spatial diffusion, usually spreading from the city center towards the peripheral zones. Changes in land use involve the transition from less intensive to more intensive forms of land use. The constant effort to acquire new land for development, the search for alternative solutions for the location of investments and the need to determine the correct direction of development generates the need to constantly apply newer methods in the study of the dynamics of urbanisation processes. This paper presents an overview of recent studies and the most interesting—in the authors’ opinion—methods used in research into the dynamics of urbanisation processes. The main objective of the authors was to produce a compendium to guide the reader through the wide range of topics and to provide inspiration for their own research.

Abstract Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh, has been experiencing severe water-logging and urban flooding in the last few decades. In this paper, we estimate the peak storm runoff of Hatirjheel-Begunbari canal – the largest drainage system of the city – under different operational, land use and climate scenarios (2013, 2025 and 2040). Our method includes digital elevation model (DEM) reconditioning, watershed delineation, and development of future land use scenario. We apply HEC-RAS to check the adequacy of Begunbari canal cross-sections to carry peak runoff for the scenarios considered here. The Hatirjheel-Begunbari system is found to drain stormwater from ∼25% area of the city. Within the system, built-up areas are increasing linearly by 0.8 Km2/year, whereas water-body and wetlands are decreasing exponentially, which might increase the runoff coefficient by 11% in 2040 relative to 2013. Climate-induced change in rainfall intensity along with land-use change show three times higher runoff in 2040 than in 2013. Around 58% of canal cross-sections appear to be overflown at both banks while carrying a 5-year return period peak runoff under the 2013 scenario. For future scenarios, all sections seem to cause an overflow, which is alarming.
