ABSTRAK The research is aimed to apply the teaching and learning method by using studi case method. On MICE study program, one of the subjects given is the basic knowledge how to organizing convention. On the subject the students learn how to organize the convention professionally. The learning process make the students will be creative to organize one convention. The teaching and learning process use the Students Team Achievement Division (STAD) by distributing and deviding the classs or students in to small group 4-5 student in one group. It is the good method to apply on the class, because the result of research said that finally the application of case based method are able to increase the student’s performance and achievement on the class. The most important thing, the lecture need to give serious attention to support the students and to give explanation what they have to do in solving the case Key word: teaching and learning process, method, organize convention, the stydent’s activity and the students team achievement division.

ABSTRACT This research is entitled the teaching of public speaking for MICE student. It is improvement teaching for MICE student in order to make them able to deliver the speech and also to be able to make presentation, able to make negotiation and able to deliver the speech as master of ceremony. It is very important, because we can not adapt the sillabus from business admiinistration departement, but we must provide the sillabus for the MICE studi program. The research activity is done during the teaching and learning process on the classroom.it is happened on sixt semester. The program is done by teaching and practicing them the principle of speech. Making presentation, negotiating, speech delivery, being a master of ceremony, and being moderator. This field research is done directly to the MICE student on the sixth semester and the this research is aimed to up grade thir capability to speak english in many variant situation. It could be reach by presenting and making certain sillabus of english for public speaking tefor MICE study program, on sixth semester. It does not imitate Business Administration silabus anymore like used to be on the last 5 years. This research finally is able to produce and create public speaking for MICE study program containing material that support their student achievement on the classroom. Key word : MICE study program, sillabus, achievement, presentation, delivery speech, negotiation and master of ceremony.

<p>Abstrak Some mistake are finding in teaching and learning literature at the schools until today. This condition happened because there is some mistake in teaching and learning literature at the university. Because of that, the process of teaching and learning literature at university must be change by using the effective models of teaching and leaning which can improve student ability in appreciation and writing poetry. One of the models for teaching and learning appreciation and writing poetry at the students university is bengkel sastra model. The problems of this research are (1) how to using bengkel sastra model in teaching and learning process of appreciation and writing poetry?; and (2) how can bengkel sastra model improve student ability in appreciation and writing poetry? The aims of this research are to know (1) the using of bengkel sastra model in teaching and learning process of appreciation and writing poetry; and (2) student ability in appreciation and writing poetry by using bengkel sastra model. Method of this research is classroom action research. The subject of this research is student in Indonesia Language concentration at PGSD Department, UPI Cibiru Campus. Measurement utilizes test and observation. The trigonometry analysis technique is using to analysis the date. Result of this research concludes that (1) bengkel sastra model can improve student ability in appreciation poetry and (2) bengkel sastra model can improve student ability in writing poetry. Thus, bengkel sastra model can using to improving student ability in appreciation poetry by using reader responds approach. Bengkel sastra model can using to improving student ability in writing poetry especially in diction, imagination, sense, and rime, but cannot optimal functions to improve student ability in choosing theme, making message, tone, and felling.</p><p>Key Word: bengkel sastra model, writing, appreciation poetry</p>

This article presents results of a SWOT analysis of an educational package / textbooks, teaching aids and notebooks / on technologies and entrepreneurship in the initial educational degree of two Bulgarian publishers. Emphasis is placed on the curriculum content, the accessibility requirements and the science, in line with learners' educational needs. The diversity of educational approaches used and didactic technologies to achieve optimal educational outcomes is taken into account. The law on pre-school and school education creates new, exceptional opportunities for more flexible, creative and independent planning and organization of the process of technology education in primary school age. The curricula of the subject Technology and Entrepreneurship are aimed at building the technological literacy and competence of the students, as an essential element of their general culture and general education. The Ministry of Education and Science determines not only a new name, but also important priorities in curriculum content, time allocation, and technology for learning two key competencies. Along with the requirements for acquiring basic knowledge, skills and relationships oriented towards the world of technology and technology, goals are set with regard to the contemporary economic life, education in initiative, entrepreneurship and responsibility (Ordinance № 5 of 30.11.2015 on general education preparation (Promulgated in the State Gazette, issue 95 of 08.12.2015). At the same time, the Law on Pre-school and School Education creates new, exceptional opportunities for more flexible, creative and independent planning and organization of the learning process. Teachers can freely construct and realize their vision for more effective teaching and learning to cover the expected results at the curriculum level. Emphasis is placed on positive attitude to work, to modern technology and technology. It is very clear that the traditional tradition of training, the new concepts are being introduced on a practical basis and provide an initial level of technological and economic literacy as a basis for building an entrepreneurial culture. There are also conditions for a wide variety of textbooks, methodologies and treks that seek to showcase different didactic technologies to achieve these results. This is a prerequisite for diversity in teaching and learning that each school and teacher can accomplish. They are seen as an essential element of general education. Thus, the European education policy is implemented and all eight key competences are equal (National Strategy for Lifelong Learning 2014-2020 Sofia: MES, 2014). State educational standards and curriculum on the subject are a new challenge for primary teachers and specialists. The learning process is oriented not so much to the final results of the practical work as to the processes and the technology for their achievement.

The objective of this study was to investigate whether the application of Teams-Games-Tournament Technique improve the students achievement in Speaking. This study was an classroom action research. The subject of this study was class XI IPA 3 SMA Muhammadiyah 8 Kisaran which consists of 35 students. The study was conducted in two cycles, cycle I consisted of three meetings and cycle II was consisted of three meetings. The instruments for collecting data were quantitative (oral speaking test) and qualitative data (observation sheet and diary note). Based on speaking scores, students’ score kept improving in every evaluation and based on observation sheet and diary note, it was found that teaching and learning process ran well. Students could enlarge their thinking process. The result of this study showed that Teams-Games-Tournament improved students’ achievement in speaking.

This study attempts to improve students’ vocabulary achievement through Clustering Technique. This study was conducted by using classroom action research. The subject of the research was class VIII-B SMP Katolik Trisakti 2 Medan that consisted of 32 students. The research was conducted in two cycles and each cycle consisted of three meetings. The instruments for collecting data were vocabulary tests for quantitative data and diary notes, observation sheet and questionnaire sheet for qualitative data. Students’ score kept improving in every test. In the first cycle test, the mean of vocabulary score was 64.68. And in the second cycle test, the mean of vocabulary score was 79.85. Based on diary notes, observation sheet and questionnaire sheet, teaching and learning process had done effectively showed the improvement. Every student was studied actively. And from the research can be concluded that Clustering Technique can improve students’ achievement in vocabulary.

<span lang="EN-US">The success of teaching and learning activities can be known from the results of teacher performance in preparing character-based lesson plans and implementing them in the teaching and learning process in class. This school action research aims to see whether there is an increase in the ability of teachers in developing character-based lesson plans and their implementation in teaching and learning process. This research uses 2 cycles. The research procedure has four stages of activities</span><span lang="IN"> are</span><span lang="EN-US">, planning, action, observation and evaluation</span><span lang="IN">,</span><span lang="EN-US"> and reflecting. The study was conducted at SDN 07 Situjuah Gadang. The subject of the research is the class teacher and subject teacher, which totals 7 </span><span lang="IN">teachers.</span><span lang="EN-US"> Data processing using qualitative descriptive analysis techniques.</span><span lang="EN-US">Based on the results of data analysis that has been stated, that the data obtained from observing the ability of teachers to prepare character-based lesson plans in cycle I and cycle II there is an increase in the ability of teachers in preparing character-based lesson plans.</span>

It influenced the internalization of Islamic Educationvalues to students. According to the above background, contextual approach was assumed to create amore meaningful and effective teaching and learning process. The study revealed that most teachersdeveloped instructional material merely based on Teacher Association for Islamic EducationReference, a discrepancy between lesson plan and the implementation was found due to insufficienttime and too-much material, and a problem in applying various methods was found due to student’sbasic competence diversity ranging from the 75-80% to 20-25% mastery creating less conduciveatmosphere for effective teaching and learning process. The purpose of this study is to trace the extent of the use of Bengkulen folklore in the process of teaching and learning rhetorical subject. The study is a descriptive research which tries to portray the exercise of teaching rhetorical subject in which Bengkulen folklore is included. This study applies qualitative approach. The research subject deals with the fifth semester students of class A from the study program of Indonesian Language Teaching (FKIP) of Bengkulu University in the academic year of 2016-2017. The study results in that student activities change into positive direction in learning by folklore. The application of folklore to the students can improve their skill in rhetoric or public communication. It can be seen from the grades they achieve and the extent of their finishing the subject. Based on the data analyzed, the result shows that there 21 students who receive grade up 70 and their fulfillment in learning reaches 90, 84%.

The teaching and learning process (learning) is an activity to carry out the core of education and curriculum at an educational institution. Teaching and learning activities contain various concepts related to the educational mission, educational foundation, and educational goals. In addition, learning is focused on what the lecturer must do as the one who provides learning. The learning process at this time is constrained by the Covid 19 pandemic faced by Indonesia, thus affecting all activities, one of which is Bungo Regency residents, especially in the academic field. Therefore, all learning activities carried out on campus are not allowed and must be done at home or online. One of them is the learning process for the Pancasila Course in the English Education Study Program (PBI), Semester II Year 2020/2021. This study uses descriptive qualitative methods in the form of photos and questionnaires via google forms which are distributed to students through whatsapp groups using 26 PBI second semester students. The results of this study indicate that students have internet signal problems, which are 81%. So the importance of the internet network is to make it easier for students to carry out the learning process effectively, due to the lack of a network. This research aims to find out the process as well as the result of improving students’ ability in reading French texts through the approach of Linguistic Functional Systemic at Teaching French Study Program at Faculty of Arts and Language, State University of Medan. This study uses a Linguistic Functional Systemic approach with the assumption that the LFS approach examines the text used as a learning material in the course of Text Review / Etude de Texte . This approach proved able to answer various linguistic issues, either micro or macro. The research methodology used is action research developed by Kemmis &amp; Mc Taggart with four steps: (1) planning, (2) action implementation, (3) observation, and (4) reflection. This study lasted for three cycles. In the first cycle, results were obtained as 21 students or 43.75% of 48 students earned grades above the prescribed minimum standards. Furthermore, in the second cycle the number of students who score above the minimum standard increases to 73%, and at the end of the third cycle to 85,42% students. The results of this study show that the LFS approach is very effective in helping students improve the reading ability of French texts. This research recommends to the lecturers of French courses in general understanding and using the LFS approach in the teaching and learning process of reading class in the classroom as in the subject of Text Review / Etude de Texte and Compréhension Ecrite.
