Simple one-step synthesis has been optimized to prepare heterocyclic azo dyes using silica-supported boron tri-fluoride (BF3.SiO2) as a catalyst to promote diazotization and combination of heterocyclic amines with different heterocyclic couplers at room temperature. The structure of the synthesized compounds was proved using different techniques. Nano inks were prepared by microencapsulation technique using these synthesized dyes under ultra-sonication for 10 min. The inks were used in digital printing techniques for cotton and polyamide fabrics. The fastness properties of the prints were measured. The printed fabrics have an excellent washing fastness and good light fastness values.

Glasses / mugs and plates have a function as tableware, it also has a function as souvenirs that we can adjust to the desired character and look attractive, so that it has high value to sell. The method used to make souvenirs of glasses / mugs and plates is by means of a screen printing technique with digital printing. Screen printing techniques with digital printing on glasses / mugs and plates are done by a press machine, so that they can be decorated by using names, images according to the desired order. The development of souvenirs of glasses / mugs and plates in Jember is still rarely found. It can be proved, in each shop there are only a few which sell it, but are not produced by themselves. This has become an attractive and beneficial business opportunity for the economic development of the Handycraft Group and the Sekar Kartini Women's Cooperative members whose businesses have been declining recently. Thus, the specific target to be achieved is the establishment of a business unit for souvenirs of character glasses / mugs and plates by using appropriate technology, namely screen-printing presses and digital printing, and marketing management with the help of information technology (social media).

The article is devoted to technologies of pattern printing on fabric. It provides a historical overview of the development of printing techniques, examines the main stages of this process in terms of technology innovation and evolution of technical means. It also systematizes the information available in the literature about traditional methods and new technologies for pattern printing on textile, technical means for implementing these technologies. Such concepts as block printing, manner, machine printing, flat and roll printing, direct printing, transfer printing, digital printing, photo printing are revealed. The authors also touch upon the history of the art of handicraft printing in Russia, emphasizing that the first Russian masters to apply images on fabric were icon painters, who decorated church interiors with ornamental patterns and created drawings for handwritten books. It is noted that mechanization became an important stage in the development of Russian textile industry, which significantly increased the speed of fabric production and its artistic design. The article reviews the main types of modern fabric printing techniques, as well as graphic editors for creating patterns and drawings. Advantages and disadvantages of modern digital technologies on textile are discovered.

<p align="center">The production requirements of original graphic works of art have changed since 1980. The development of digital printing using lightfast colors now rivals traditional techniques such as wood cut, screen print, lithography, etching etc. Today, with respect to artistic legitimacy, original graphics using traditional printing techniques compete with original graphics produced by digital printing techniques on the art market. What criteria distinguish traditional printing techniques from those of digital printing in the production and acquisition of original graphics? What consequences is the serious artist faced with when deciding to implement digital print production? How does digital print change original graphic acquisition decisions?</p>

Protection of goods and packaging from counterfeiting and copying, tracking their movement requires improvement of existing labeling and security methods and the development of new ones. Making changes to the image at the prepress stage is the cheapest and easiest way of protection compared to using special printing techniques, special substrates, and inks or additional tags such as RFID. In the article, we suggest a new method to create security printed features, identify them in prints, and confirm the authenticity of the image. The method uses a combination of regular (AM) and stochastic (FM) screening in one image. There are two ways of separating images for AM and FM screening. First is to choose several random intervals in shadows of image tonal distribution and in accordance with values in these intervals original image is separated into two. The second is to separate by structure, for example, use FM screening on edges or textures. We tried Canny edge detector and local binary patterns. By using random values as the parameters, it is possible to generate unique print runs or even individual prints using digital printing. And large variability in the areas of separation gives reason to consider that the suggested method is reliable. Fourier analysis in the suggested method allows not only to detect the presence of security printed features but also to confirm the authenticity of the image on a print. Authentication is implemented by obtaining a digital image of the print by scanning or photographing and comparing the spectral composition of the original image and the digital image of the print. An expert survey showed that after our method presence of a combination of AM and FM screening in images on prints is barely visible. As a result, this method can be used to protect packaging labels with images from copying.
