APLIKASI E-LEARNING MENGGUNAKAN TREE VIEW

[Id]Beberapa negara maju telah lama menerapkan komputer dan ICT dalam lingkungan pembelajaran baik intranet maupun internet, dan dalam bentuk Computer Aided Learning (CAL) maupun Intelligent Tutorial System (ITS). Berdasarkan pengamatan institusi pendidikan Sekolah Menengah Umum di Indonesia telah memanfaatkan fasilitas komputer untuk keperluan pembelajarannya, salah satunya adalah menggunakan sarana pembelajaran e-learning. Dalam penelitian ini di bangun suatu perangkat lunak Self Learning Centre (SLC) yang bertujuan untuk mendukung proses pembelajaran dan memantau perkembangan siswa secara on-line dengan menggunakan metode Asyncronous Learning.Aplikasi e-learning dengan menggunakan tree view sebagai alat bantu proses pembelajaran di SMU ini di buat dengan menggunakan Macromedia Dreamwaver MX, bahasa pemogramman PHP, Java Script dan database menggunakan MySQL, dan? perancangan sistemnya menggunakan UML (Unified Modelling Language).Berdasarkan hasil implementasi, dapat di simpulkan bahwa Aplikasi e-learning SLC dapat membantu siswa dan guru dalam menggunakan materi paper based menjadi computer based yang lebih dinamis. Selain itu juga SLC dapat dijadikan salah satu fasilitas untuk menyajikan materi terstruktur dengan menggunakan tree view dan untuk melihat hasil perkembangan siswa berupa statistik dan grafik. Untuk perkembangan aplikasi ini materi dan soal-soal yang ditampilkan sebaiknya di update secara periodik yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa.Kata Kunci : E-Learning, TreeView, SLC, Asynchronous learning[En]Some developed countries implemented computer and ICT in learning environment both intranet and internet, and in the form of Computer Aided Learning (CAL) and Intelligent Tutorial System (ITS). Based on the observations, some of high school education institutions in Indonesia have utilized computer facilities for learning purposes, such as using e-learning tools. In this research we built a Self Learning Center (SLC) software that aims to support the learning process and monitor the progrss of students learning on-line using Asyncronous Learning method.The e-learning application is built using tree view as a tool of learning process. It was created using Macromedia Dreamwaver MX, PHP programming language, Java Script and MySQL database.Based on the results of implementation, it can be concluded that the SLC e-learning application can help students and teachers to swift from paper-based materials to computer based. In addition SLC can be used as one of the facilities to present the material structured using tree view and to see the results of student progress by presenting statistics and graphs

The Graduate School of Business of the University of Cape Town (UCT) recently acquired a powerful mini-computer with interactive terminals and a range of educational and business software. This paper applies a particular model of the learning process in order to choose the most effective computer-based teaching methods for the MBA programme. It is argued that this choice must take into account characteristics of the learner, the learning environment, the material being learned and the stage of the learning process. These elements and the current status of computer-aided instruction on the UCT MBA programme are described and basic policy guidelines are presented.

A computer-aided controller design package is developed in this paper. The package provides a simulated environment for simulating the action of a controller under different parameter settings in order to achieve optimal system performance. The designed controller is then applied to a process plant for on-line control.

Developing a computer based system for examinations are the substitute for the current examination system based on paper. In recent days, the e-learning has become more popular because of its adaptability, integrity and user friendliness. In terms of the paper based examinations, major challenge is the proctoring techniques used. In this paper, a novel method to avoid the presence of a proctor throughout the examination is proposed by an intelligent based examination system. This method is proposed to improve the e-learning using intelligent question bank and examination system. The system is designed with different complexity levels among the questions and also it acts as a tool to assessing the understanding of student from the teaching materials. This system can be timesaving and more efficient with an adequate level of security. The proposed methodology can be classified in to two main phases such as the design of question bank along with its database, design of the Artificial Intelligence (AI) based system for examination and its evaluation in order to improve the e-learning. Future works in this system can be the addition of theory-based questions and the integration of biometric based systems for enhancing the level of security.

<p><strong><em>Abstract.</em></strong><em>The purpose of this public service activities is to enhance the role of vocational teachers and vocational Respati 1 Respati 2 in developing innovative learning media. Innovation learning media in the form of web logs. Log web presence is expected to be maximized by teachers as an alternative medium of knowledge transmission, media on-line learning, as well as solutions to the problem of lack of conventional instructional hours in class. Web logs can be accessed by students and teachers anywhere and anytime, which is expected to motivate students to learn independently grasp the concepts of the lessons. This learning innovations make the learning process more flexible and efficient. The method in this devotion in the form of training methods, mentoring and discussion. Training is done by giving seminars creating web log and web log manufacturing practices teaching materials by teachers was held on December 15-16, 2016. The results of the training in the form of web logs each participant that can be used for the learning process. Outcomes in community service activities in the form of modules making web log.</em></p><p><strong><em>Keywords: e-learning, web log, teaching materials.</em></strong><em></em></p><p> </p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Abstrak.</strong>Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan peran guru SMK Respati 1 dan SMK Respati 2 dalam mengembangkan inovasi media pembelajaran. Inovasi media pembelajaran berupa <em>web log</em>. Keberadaan <em>web log</em> diharapkan dapat dimaksimalkan oleh para guru sebagai media alternatif penyampaian pengetahuan, media pembelajaran <em>on-line</em>, serta solusi untuk masalah kurangnya jam pembelajaran konvensional di kelas. <em>Web log</em> tersebut dapat diakses oleh siswa dan guru dimana pun dan kapan pun, sehingga diharapkan dapat memotivasi siswa untuk belajar mandiri memahami konsep-konsep pelajaran. Inovasi pembelajaran ini membuat proses pembelajaran lebih fleksibel dan efisien.  Metode dalam pengabdian ini berupa metode pelatihan, pendampingan, dan diskusi. Pelatihan dilakukan dengan cara memberikan seminar pembuatan <em>web log</em> dan praktik pembuatan <em>web log</em> bahan ajar oleh guru yang dilaksanakan pada tanggal 15-16 desember 2016. Hasil pelatihan berupa <em>web log</em> masing-masing peserta yang dapat digunakan untuk proses pembelajaran. Luaran dalam kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat ini berupa modul pembuatan <em>web log</em>.</p><p><strong>Kata Kunci: <em>e-learning</em>, <em>web log</em>, bahan ajar.</strong></p>

Penyebaran pendidikan berkualitas yang belum merata di Indonesia merupakan permasalahan pendidikan nasional yang harus diselesaikan. Pelaksanaan pendidikan berkualitas sebagian besar dilaksanakan di pulau Jawa, pada hal warga Negara Indonesia tersebar di seluruh wilayah Indonesia dari Sabang sampai Merauke. Semua warga Negara Indondesia tersebut ingin mendapatkan pendidikan berkualitas yang mudah diakses dengan biaya yang terjangkau. Salah satu solusi yang bisa digunakan untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan tersebut adalah e-learning. Namun demikian banyak faktor yang harus diperhatikan dalam proses pembejaran jarak jauh atau dikenal dengan elearning, salah satu diantaranya adalah proses evaluasi hasil pembelajaran. Artikel ini membahas tentang proses evaluasi hasil pembelajaran dengan melakukan studi literatur beberapa artikel yang dipublikasikan antara tahun 2007 – 2015 dengan memfokuskan pendapat para pakar terhadap pernyataan “apakah ujian on line (berbasis komputer) dapat menggantikan ujian tradisional (berbasis kertas)” melalui penyajian pro dan kontra ujian on line. Dari kajian ini ditemukan bahwa ada peluang untuk menggantikan ujian berbasis kertas dengan ujian berbasis komputer dengan memperhatikan unsur-unsur teknis seperti keamanan, kemudahan penggunaan dan kemampuan dasar pengguna komputer. Namun demikian, penggantian tersebut belum bisa diterapkan pada semua kondisi dan perlu memperhatikan tujuan pembelajaran yang telah ditetapkan. Oleh karena itu, diperlukan penelitian lebih lanjut dengan mengembangkan model evaluasi pencapaian kompetensi siswa dengan mengkombinasikan konsep penilaian berbasis kubik secara on line (Cubiks Online Asesessment) dengan mengkombinasi konsep keamanan informasi ganda.Kata kunci; evaluasi hasil pembajaran, elearning, ujian online dan ujian berbasis kertasSpreading the uneven quality education in Indonesia is a national educational problems to be solved. Implementation of quality education largely implemented in Java, in the case of Indonesian citizens spread all over Indonesia, from Sabang to Merauke. All citizens of the Indondesia want to receive a quality education that is easily accessible at reasonable costs. One solution that can be used to solve the problem is e-learning. However, many factors must be considered in the process of long-distance pembejaran known as elearning, one of which is the process of evaluating learning outcomes. This article discusses the process of evaluation of learning outcomes by studying literature several articles published between the years 2007 - 2015 with a focus on expert opinion to the statement "whether the test on line (computer-based) may replace the exam traditional (paper-based)" through the presentation of the pros and cons exam on line. From this study it was found that there are opportunities to replace paper-based exams to computer-based test with due regard to the technical elements such as security, ease of use and ability of computer users base. However, such reimbursement can not be applied to all conditions and the need to pay attention to the learning objectives that have been set. Therefore, further research is needed to develop a model to evaluate student achievement by combining the concept of competency-based assessment cubic online (Cubiks Online Asesessment) by combining multiple information security concepts.Keyword; evaluation of the results of learning, elearning, online exams and paper-based exams

Dinamika pembelajaran pada setiap orang dipengaruhi banyak hal. Diantaranya adalah pola asuh orang tua yang diperoleh sejak seseorang dilahirkan di dunia. Pola asuh orang tua yang dimaksud dalam hal ini adalah autoritatif, otoriter, permisif dan pola asuh tidak terlibat (uninvolved). Berbagai pendekatan pola asuh tersebut berpeluang membentuk perilaku seseorang dalam melangsungkan proses pembelajaran hingga jenjang perguruan tinggi yang disebut mahasiswa. Seiring dengan perkembangan teknologi yang berlangsung, mahasiswa melakukan proses pembelajaran diantaranya termasuk bagaimana seseorang memiliki kecenderungan dalam berperilaku dalam menggunakan sistem e-learning. Perilaku pengguna sistem e-learning yang dimaksud dalam hal ini adalah individual online (individual self paced-learning online), individual offline (individual self paced-learning offline), grup secara sinkron (group based synchronously)dan grup secara tidak sinkron (group based asynchronously). Penelitian deskriptif ini yang melibatkan 486 responden mahasiswa USU aktif yang diperoleh dengan menggunakan cluster random sampling. Analisis data dilakukan dengan cross tab untuk menjelaskan sejumlah profil individu berdasarkan orientasi pola asuh orang tua serta kecenderungan perilaku pengguna sistem e-learning, suku budaya, dan urutan lahir. Persebaran menunjukkan bahwa kecenderungan pola asuh autoritatif merupakan pengguna sistem e-learning individu online.   The dynamics of learning in everyone is influenced by many things. One of them is the parents' parenting way which have been gained since someone was born in the world. In this case, the parenting styles referred are the authoritative, authoritarian, permissive, and uninvolved parenting. Various approaches of parenting style are likely to shape a person's behavior in carrying out the learning process to the level of higher education called college students. Along with technological developments that take place, students carry out the learning process including of how a person has a tendency to behave in using an e-learning system. The user's behavior of e-learning systems referred to in this case are online individuals (individual self-learning online), offline individuals (individual self-learning offline), groups in synchronous (group based synchronously), and groups in non-synchronous (group based asynchronously). This descriptive study involved 486 active USU students as respondents obtained using cluster random sampling. Data analysis was carried out by a cross tab to explain a number of individual profiles based on parenting orientation and the tendency of user's behavior in the e-learning system, ethnic culture, and birth order. Distribution showed that the tendency of authoritative parenting was the user of an individual e-learning online system.

Computer aided learning (CAL) is a terminology used for delivering educational experiences electronically. CAL materials may use any combination of teaching techniques including question and answer, simulation, multimedia, didacticism (tending to convey information), or problem solving. CAL environments increasingly are using a combination of interactive multimedia and virtual reality (VR) such as text, audio and video, graphics and images, two and three dimensional animations, and simulations in presenting learning materials. Interactive refers to the way the user engages in these environments to enhance his/her learning process.

This chapter takes a critical look at the current enthusiasm for on-line distance education and virtual learning, as well as some deeper cultural and institutional implications of technological modernization for higher education’s future. I address four complex questions: Does computer-based instruction really improve pedagogy and add value to the learning process? Will the spread of computing and information technologies reinforce, even exacerbate, broader social inequalities? Can on-line education contribute to sustainable intellectual communities in cyberspace? Are pressures for commercialization undermining the ethos of higher education?

In this paper a newly developed e-learning environment for the support of the study on Material Properties is presented. It was developed to support the blended learning of the material and shape stiffness. Course structure is organized in HTML content, and virtual and remote laboratories are integrated in the computer aided learning module (CALM), which support both teach ers during the hand-on teaching and students during self-study.
