Resumo: No Brasil, a Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES) propõe à produção científica, avaliação da qualidade dos periódicos, por meio de um sistema denominado Qualis. Buscamos descrever os periódicos da área de Ensino na especificidade de Educação/Ensino em Ciências e/ou Matemática, presente na edição Qualis CAPES (2013-2016). A partir do estudo dos periódicos A1 a B1 da área de Ensino. Aferimos 506 títulos, desconsiderando duplicidades na plataforma Sucupira. A Análise foi qualitativa e descritiva com uso do Formulário Google. Os dados pesquisados foram relacionados à fundação, disponibilização pela internet, bases de indexadores e citações. Encontramos um quadro de 82 revistas com escopo voltado a área de Ensino de Ciências e Matemática. Do total de periódicos, 46 em Ciências, 27 em Matemática e 9 periódicos Mistos. Os dados foram organizados conforme a caracterização das revistas. Realizamos análise e discussão, e por fim sugerimos recomendações sobre a qualidade.Palavras-chave: Periódicos; Ensino de Ciências; Educação Matemática; Qualis. Analysis of qualis/CAPES periodicals: overview of the area in of Science and Mathematics educationAbstract: In Brazil, the Coordination of Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES in portuguese) proposes to the scientific production, evaluation of the quality of journals, through a system called Qualis. We seek to describe the journals of the Teaching area in the specificity of Education / Teaching in Science and / or Mathematics, present in the edition Qualis CAPES (2013-2016). From the study of the periodicals A1 to B1 of the Teaching area. We checked 506 titles, disregarding duplications on the Sucupira Platform. Qualitative and descriptive analysis using the Google Form. The data surveyed were related to the foundation, availability by intenet, bases of indexers and citations. We found a table of 82 journals with scope focused on the area ofScience and Mathematics Teaching. Of the total periodicals, 46 in Science, 27 in Mathematics and 9 in Mixed Periodicals. The data were organization according to the characterization of the journals. We carry out analysis and discussion, and finally we suggest recommendations on quality.Keywords: Periodicals; Science Education; Mathematical Education; Qualis.

Introdução: Com o passar dos anos, além de doenças laborais físicas, surge um novo cenário de doenças emocionais que vem afetando gradativamente profissionais da área da docência a pesquisa em questão visou identificar os transtornos mentais que mais provocam afastamento de docentes em instituições de ensino superior, (com ênfase no transtorno bipolar), onde contribuiu para se aprofundar a análise de fatores relacionados a esse tipo de transtorno. Objetivos: os objetivos deste estudo, são de realizar análise crática e reflexiva quanto ao número elevado de professores de ensino superior com o Transtorno Afetivo Bipolar, e a relação dos fatores associados a este impedimento dos profissionais, destacar também questões relativas à saúde mental, e identificar quais são as consequências que implicam na rotina de trabalho desses professores e o aumento de docentes com diagno?stico de Transtorno Bipolar. Materiais e Métodos: Quanto à fundamentação teórica, trata-se de um referencial bibliográfico ao passo que utiliza de literaturas científicas disponibilizadas por meio eletrônico. Utilizando-se como técnica de análise de dados a análise de conteúdo interpretativa. Os critérios de inclusão que foram usados são: publicações em português, entre os anos de 2000 a 2018 disponíveis na íntegra. Conclusão: Por fim chegou-se ao entendimento de que além da sobrecarga os docentes remanescentes, o adoecimento crescente dos profissionais da educação compromete a qualidade de vida desses profissionais. Introduction: Over the years, in addition to physical work-related illnesses, a new scenario of emotional diseases emerges that has gradually affected professionals in the teaching area. The research in question aimed at identifying the mental disorders that cause the most withdrawal of teachers in higher education institutions, (with emphasis on bipolar disorder), where it contributed to deepen the analysis of factors related to this type of disorder. Objectives: The objectives of this study are to perform a critical and reflexive analysis regarding the high number of teachers of higher education with Bipolar Affective Disorder, and the relation of the factors associated with this impediment of the professionals, also highlight issues related to mental health, and identify what are the consequences that imply in the work routine of these teachers and the increase of teachers diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder. Materials and Methods: Regarding the theoretical basis, it is a bibliographical reference while using scientific literatures made available electronically. The analysis of interpretive content was used as data analysis technique. The inclusion criteria that were used are: publications in Portuguese, between the years 2000 to 2018 available in full. Conclusion: Finally, it was understood that in addition to overloading the remaining teachers, the growing sickness of education professionals compromises the quality of life of these professionals.

Purpose The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of soft skill integration in the curriculum on quality of college life of diploma business students in Malaysian private higher educational institutions. Design/methodology/approach Descriptive quantitative survey research was used to assess the views and relationship between variables from 429 business students in Peninsular Malaysia. The adapted self-administered questionnaires were distributed through stratified random sampling method. Descriptive analysis, correlation and regression analysis were used in the findings. Findings The results advocated significant influence from soft skill integration on quality of college life. Soft skill integration in critical thinking and problem solving especially has significant positive influence on quality of college life in all the aspects from academic, social and also facilities. Research limitations/implications Generalizability of the research as it was conducted in the northern region of Peninsular Malaysia only. It was also limited by subjectivity bias of the students who responded to the questionnaire. Practical implications The implication of this study was that it serves as an evidence-based information of soft skill integration and effects on college quality. In this way, it provides an empirical reference to the authorities for better guidelines, evaluation, control and development in the curriculum, delivery approaches, co-curriculum, campus environment or facilities. Social implications Local education in particular is closely linked to the neighboring community and also dependent on the socio-economic needs of the state or region. According to Kayrooz and Parker (2010), greater engagement with local issues and higher local autonomy for spending could lead to greater effectiveness and efficiencies. Originality/value The study was a pioneering research in the context of Malaysian private higher education, guided by Devadason et al.’s (2010) soft skill integration study in Malaysian public higher education, plus Sirgy et al.’s (2007) study on quality of college life.

It is obvious, that collaboration plays an increasing role among science and mathematics teachers. It is quite useful if different ideas on science and mathematics teaching are shared among teachers. Teachers have better opportunities to experience collaboration. The collaborative process supports the transdisciplinarity of science and mathematics teaching. Teachers are able to develop an understanding of how mathematics and science concepts can be taught in creative, playful and effective way. The project MaT²SMc is implemented in the frame of EU Lifelong Learning Programme. The main idea of the project is to find a way to increase students' motivation to learn in the key subjects mathematics and science. From one side, mathematics teachers should understand that there is a meaningful and realistic context to use mathematics. From the other side, science teachers should understand that the mathematics competences required for more effective science teaching and learning. In such a context the collaboration of science and mathematics teachers is very relevant. Currently it is obvious that mathematics and natural science teachers‘ collaboration on integration purposes at school is limited by some factors. Collaboration of mathematics and natural science teachers should be expanded, for this purpose, it is necessary to create all necessary conditions and didactic providing (support). It is obvious, that collaboration of mathematics and science teachers is important for improvement of quality of natural science education. RESUMO: A destinação correta dos resíduos de usinas de concreto é exigida por lei, sendo a água residuária um dos principais resíduos a serem considerados. Este trabalho apresenta uma revisão sistemática de estudos que investigaram a gestão ambiental em usinas de concreto, com foco no reuso das águas residuárias e no emprego da Moringa oleifera como coagulante natural a ser utilizado como processo complementar à sedimentação. Este estudo faz parte de uma pesquisa que tem como objetivo avaliar o potencial de uso da Moringa oleifera no tratamento de águas residuárias em usinas de concreto. As fontes de pesquisa foram as seguintes bases de dados indexadas: Portal de Periódicos da Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior (CAPES), Scopus, Conpemdex e Science Direct. Cabe destacar que a aplicação do Mapeamento Sistemático na elaboração de revisão bibliográfica permitiu identificar as principais lacunas para o desenvolvimento de novas pesquisas, além disso, direciona para as principais publicações ligadas ao estudo. Por fim, os resultados obtidos fornecem, de um lado, subsídios para a caracterização da água residuária do concreto e os tipos de tratamento usualmente empregados e, de outro, evidenciam o potencial do uso da Moringa oleifera para este fim. ABSTRACT: Law requires the correct disposal of waste of concrete plants and the wastewater is one of the most important wastes to be considered. This paper presents a systematic review of studies investigating the environmental management in concrete plants, focusing on the reuse of wastewater and use of Moringa oleifera as a natural coagulant in the process of sedimentation. This study is part of a research that aims to evaluate the potential use of Moringa oleifera in the wastewater treatment in concrete plants. The sources used in this research were the following indexed databases: Portal of Periodicals of Coordination of Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES), Scopus, Conpemdex and Science Direct. Is worth highlighting that the application of Systematic Mapping in the development of literature review identified the main gaps in the development of new research also directs you to the main publications related to the study. Finally, the results provideon one side, subsidies for the characterization of the wastewater and the particular type of treatment usually employed, and others, highlight the potential use of Moringa oleifera for this purpose

The study analyzes the scientific production that deals with the economic activity of the sport. This is a systematic review that evaluates scientific papers published in the last Olympic cycle (2012-2016) in national and international journals, in English, Spanish and Portuguese, indexed to the Portal of Journals of Capes (Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel). From the content analysis, 355 studies were examined that, despite their diversity, were grouped into 16 categories. The considerations suggest an ample process of commercialization of the sport as a cultural commodity and, also, vehicle of sale and propagation of other products.

The transformation of The State Institute for Islamic Studies (IAIN) towards State Islamic University (UIN) Surakarta is understood as a strategic step to improve the quality of the institution's education. IAIN Surakarta needs to fix several factors, both internal and external, in order to maintain its existence as a public institution in the implementation of Islamic Higher Education. The dilemma faced in the transformation of IAIN towards UIN is the dualism-dichotomic phenomenon of science developed. The research method used is descriptive qualitative. This research was conducted from June 14, 2017 to September 12, 2017. The data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The data were analyzed by descriptive analysis with inductive thinking methods. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that: 1) Surakarta IAIN needs to develop general study programs as well as integration between general science and Islam, including KPI Study Programs; 2) the development of study programs at IAIN Surakarta is important in order to accelerate the transformation into UIN Surakarta; 2) the rapid trend of media development needs to be addressed by the Surakarta IAIN.

Globalization has influenced the competition paradigm of higher education institutions in the world. The situation keeps changing, depending on the economy and information technology as the backbone of business processes in organizations. Higher education institutions should have added values to win the competition. Furthermore, the awareness of the society about the importance of formal education, particularly higher education, will make colleges/universities strategic institutions generating high quality human resources. The success of col-leges/universities is determined by service quality, which can be identified through the satisfaction of their customers, students and lecturers. To increase customer satisfaction and be able to compete in the globalization era, as well as generate greater profits, colleges/universities need to identify factors which influence information system services to increase customer satisfaction. Employing descriptive analysis, the study reveals that the purpose and service quality of information technology positively affect the teaching and learning process at colleges/universties.

Artikel ini bertujuan memberikan analisis deskriptif mengenai manajemen sumber daya manusia di MTs Persis 3 Pameungpeuk. Artikel ini akan menganalisis manajemen sumber daya manusia di MTs Persis 3 Pameungpeuk menggunakan perspektif Pendidikan secara epistemologis. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa manajemen sumber daya manusia menempati posisi yang cukup sentral dalam perkembangan mutu Pendidikan di MTs Persis 3 Pameungpeuk. Implementasi manajemen sumber daya manusia tersebut terdiri dari proses rekrutmen, orientasi, penempatan, dan pengembangan guru dan tenaga Pendidikan. Hal tersebut dilakukan sebagai respon terhadap tuntutan zaman dan kebutuhan masyratakat terhadap standar lulusan dari MTs Persis 3 Pameungpeuk. This article aims to provide a descriptive analysis of human resource management at MTs Persis 3 Pameungpeuk. This article will analyze human resource management at MTs Persis 3 Pameungpeuk using an epistemological perspective of education. The results of this study indicate that human resource management occupies a fairly central position in the development of the quality of education at MTs Persis 3 Pameungpeuk. The implementation of human resource management consists of a process of recruitment, orientation, placement and development of teachers and education personnel. This was done in response to the demands of the times and the needs of the community for the standard of graduates from MTs Persis 3 Pameungpeuk.
