Information and communication technologies (ICT) are immersed in the teaching and learning processes. Specifically, educational robotics is a technology with great projection in learning spaces. This educational technology has revealed great potential in educational processes in the scientific literature. In this study, the Makey Makey device has been used to carry out a methodological contrast at the instructional level. The objective of this study is to verify if the use of the Makey Makey robotic device influences various psycho-social and educational dimensions in the subject of physical education. A quasi-experimental research design has been used in a sample of 177 students from secondary education. A questionnaire was used as the data collection instrument. The results show the ratings made by the control group students are lower than those of the experimental group in all dimensions, although there is no relationship of significance in all dimensions. This fact only occurs in motivation, teacher–student, student–content, collaboration, resolution, and teacher-rating dimensions. Conclusions show that the teaching method in which robotics is used leads to more success in the field of physical education if we compared it to the more conventional method. The outstanding data show the teaching–learning process has the highest influence on motivation, teacher–student, student–content, collaboration, resolution, and teacher rating.

Specifically, the study aimed to identify the challenges of planning educational practices at school, specifically related to the processes of student authorship and co-authorship based on the principles of Educomunicação, and to point to the contributions of school radio media to student work. The research employed an exploratory and descriptive methodology, and the delineation adopted was Research Action. Conducted at a public school in southern Brazil, the study participants included 19 fourth grade students engaging in Educomunicação practices with school radio media. The study emphasizes how the Mais Educação Program and its macro field Educomunicação enhances the processes of student authorship and co-authorship and greater facilitates contextualized and socially embedded teaching and learning.

In this study, two classes of General Science Teaching Method preservice secondary teachers at Monash University (n = 38 in 2007 and n = 34 in 2008) developed Slowmation movies as part of their course work, then introduced Slowmation into the their science classrooms during their school practicum. On returning to university following their practicum these preservice teachers shared the Slowmations created by their students during the practicum, and discussed the impact of introducing this procedure on their students’ learning about science concepts. The classroom presentations and discussions of school students’ Slowmation movies post practicum provided valuable feedback to the preservice teachers about their teaching and their students’ learning. The data illustrated that these preservice teachers became aware of a range of conceptions held by their learners about particular science concepts through their students’ Slowmation movies and in so doing, influenced their understanding of science teaching and learning.

Suggestopedia is a teaching method focuses on the teacher-learner relationship while teaching and learning process is going on in the classroom that might be used to encourage the students especially for reading a descriptive text. This study was to explore the senior high school students’ ability on reading descriptive text by using a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental approach. Sample was taken randomly, with 60 students were devided into two groups, 30 students were taken as control class while another 30 students as experimental class. By using a reading text as the instrument of the research, the researcher found that suggestopedia method was proven to be effective with the average pre-test control class was 38,6 and post-test control class was 53,3. The average pre-test in the experimental class was 46 and post-test experimental class was 90,8. The value of t-test higher than the value of t-table was (20,41>2,001) which means that suggestopedia method makes learning process more interesting and more effective for senior high school students.

This study examined how social opportunity structure influences identity exploration and commitment of Albanian high school students. A total of 258 students completed a questionnaire that gauged their identity exploration and commitment in three domains: education, occupation, and family. ANOVA results indicated that, overall, students scored highest in exploration in the domain of education and in commitment in the domain of family. Students' exploration and commitment were linked to gender. Albanian female students scored higher than male students in exploration and commitment regarding education and family. Perceived work opportunities in Albania or abroad also significantly moderated participants' exploration in the domain of education and were associated with commitment in education and occupation. As one of the first studies to explore Albanian youth's identity development in relation to social opportunity structure, findings are discussed in light of furthering the field of Albanian adolescent and youth development.
