ABSTRAKSI: Artikel ini mengupas rasional di sebalik pengenalan ALPdP (Aktiviti di Luar waktu Pengajaran dan Pembelajaran) Pendidikan Moral di Malaysia. Seramai tujuh orang peserta kajian, yang terdiri daripada guru Pendidikan Moral daripada enam buah sekolah, telah terlibat secara langsung dalam kajian ini. Kaedah kualitatif dengan menggunakan reka bentuk kajian kes telah digunakan dalam pengumpulan data. Dapatan data bagi kajian ini dikutip melalui temu bual, pemerhatian, dan penelitian dokumen. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan bahawa silibus baharu Pendidikan Moral, iaitu KSSM (Kurikulum Standard Sekolah Menengah), bukan sahaja diajar di dalam kelas malah diselitkan juga dengan pengajaran dan pembelajaran di luar waktu dan dijalankan oleh guru di luar bilik darjah selama 32 jam. ALPdP merupakan komponen baharu dan telah mula dilaksanakan dalam kalangan murid Pendidikan Moral menengah rendah bermula tahun 2017. Penambahbaikan secara berterusan perlu diberi perhatian oleh pihak Kementerian Pendidikan Malaysia agar keberkesanan ALPdP ini dapat dimantapkan dan menjadi proses pengajaran dan pembelajaran yang bermakna kepada murid. KATA KUNCI: Kurikulum Standard Sekolah Menengah; Aktiviti di Luar Waktu Pengajaran dan Pembelajaran; Pendidikan Moral di Malaysia. ABSTRACT: “Moral Education Activities Beyond Teaching and Learning in Malaysia: An Introduction”. This article explores the rationale behind the introduction of TLAOC (Teaching and Learning Activities Outside the Classroom) in Malaysia. A total of seven study participants consisting of Moral Education teachers from six schools were directly involved in this study. Qualitative methods using case study design have been used in data collection. The data obtained for this study were collected through one-to-one interviews, observation, and documents reviews. The results show that the new syllabus of Moral Education, the SCSS (Standard Curriculum for Secondary School), is not only taught in the classroom but is also integrated with teaching and learning outside of the classroom and conducted by teachers for 32 hours. The TLAOC is a new component that has been implemented among lower secondary Moral Education students beginning in 2017. Continuous improvement needs to be given attention by the Ministry of Education Malaysia, so that the effectiveness of TLAOC can be strengthened and become a meaningful teaching and learning process for students. This aim of the research to explore the knowledge of Islamic education preschool teacher’s about the development of preschool children and to determine the implementation of that knowledge in teaching and learning. This study is a qualitative case study approach with the main instrument is observation methods. These observation data triangulate with interviews and document analysis data. Selection of study participants using purposeful sampling aimed those who experienced the pre-school teaching for more than three years, have participated in courses and training of the Ministry of Education (MOE) and volunteered to participate in the study. The results found that teachers who participated in the study had a source of knowledge about the development of preschool children through courses, training and experience. Study participants have been practicing existing knowledge in the implementation of teaching and learning in the classroom. Teachers can also perform knowledge coincide with the objectives of preschool education. Insights data generating Preschool Teacher’s Knowledge Model proposed to the District Education Office (PPD), the State Education Department (JPN), Ministry of Education (MOE), the private sector, teachers, and parents in order to attempt the education of children in preschool.

Learning System in Indonesia is carried out with a face-to-face system, teaching and learning activities are carried out in schools in one room. The widespread pandemic of the covid 19 virus made the Ministry of Education and Culture take a policy to conduct online school activities to prevent the transmission of the disease virus. Online learning does not all have to be done using Zoom or similar applications. It is also necessary that applications that schools can manage and uniformize their use so that teachers can quickly fill out materials and tasks. The learning system carried out in SMK Negeri 2 Gorontalo is considered less effective, affecting learning outcomes. The application created is an application that can help the learning and teaching process in SMK Negeri 2 Gorontalo. Learning media is expected to help facilitate the absorption of the material and the delivery of lesson content to increase students' motivation to learn and understand it anywhere and anytime. The method used is the Research and Development method. As a research method used to produce a particular product and test the effectiveness of the product where the object of research in the study is a Student at SmK Negeri 2 Gorontalo. The purpose of the study is to help increase students' learning motivation in times of pandemics.

Kajian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan penguasaan kemahiran nombor asas satu hingga sembilandan meningkatkan daya tumpuan melalui penggunaan kaedah mainan Ulat Beluncas dalam kalanganmurid Pendidikan Khas terutamanya ADHD dan ADD ataupun Hiperaktif. Kajian ini melibatkan seorangsahaja murid Pendidikan Khas masalah pembelajaran yang berada di kelas Program Pendidikan KhasIntegrasi Masalah Pembelajaran di salah sebuah sekolah di daerah Pasir Mas, Kelantan. Objektif kajianini ialah meningkatkan penguasaan nombor asas satu hingga sembilan dengan menggunakan kaedahpermainan Ulat Beluncas dan meningkatkan tumpuan murid dalam aktiviti pengajaran dan pembelajaranmelalui kaedah permainan Ulat Beluncas. Pengkaji telah menggunakan analisis dokumen, pemerhatiandan temu bual sebagai instrumen kajian dalam pengumpulan data. Kesemua dapatan kajian dianalisisdan diperihalkan secara deskriptif. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan berlakunya peningkatan positif terhadappencapaian murid dalam penguasaan kemahiran nombor asas dengan menggunakan bahan bantumengajar Ulat Beluncas. Pada masa yang sama, dapatan kajian turut menunjukkan perubahan yangpositif terhadap daya tumpuan murid dalam aktiviti pengajaran dan pembelajaran melalui penggunaanUlat Beluncas. Hasil kajian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi rujukan bagi semua pihak dalam membantumurid pendidikan khas yang mengalami masalah dalam penguasaan nombor asas satu hingga sembilan. This study aims to increase the numerical ability of one to nine basic skills and increase focus throughthe use of Caterpillar Toy method among Special Education students especially ADHD and ADD orHyiperactive. This study involves one student of the Special Education problem of learning that isin the classroom of the Special Education Integration Learning Problem class at one of the schoolsin the district of Pasir Mas, Kelantan. The objective of this study is to increase the numeracy of oneto nine by using the Caterpillar game method and to increase the focus of the pupils in the teachingand learning activities through the caterpillar game method. Researchers used document analysis,observation and interview as a research instrument in data collection. All findings were analyzedand descriptively described. The findings show that there has been a positive increase in studentachievement in mastering basic numeracy using the teaching materials of Caterpillar. At the same time,the findings also showed a positive change in student’s motivation in teaching and learning activitiesthrough the use of the Caterpillar. The results of this study are expected to be a reference for all partiesin assisting special education students experiencing problems in mastering one to nine basic numbers.

The basic concept of trigonometric ratios now is not excellently grasped by students of Granada Islamic Senior Secondary School. The problem identification result shows that there is students’ ennui due to the indoors mathematics learning. This study aims to reinforce basic concepts of trigonometric ratios by increasing the students’ learning activities and mastery kearning by means of clinometer. The benefits of this study are (1) for mathematics teachers, it is an effort to elaborate science by utilising clinometer in teaching and learning and (2) as for students, it is to enable them applying trigonometry in daily life. Clinometer is one of the simple teaching aids used to measure the height of an object utilizing elevation angles and trigonometric ratios. The tests result and observational record shows that students’ activities increase from 39.39% to 93.93% as well as students' mastery learning that increases from 25% to 84.84%. The result of this study indicates that the use of clinometer may support the students' concepts reinforcement on trigonometric ratios.

Implementing teaching and learning, to raise the dimension of moral reasoning among students, is still a major challenge to secondary school teachers. Pedagogy and classroom teaching strategies is important to stimulate students to think critically and pro-active in addressing a moral and social conflict. Furthermore, one of the aspirations of Malaysian Education Blueprint 2013-2025 is to produce a creative, innovative and critical thinking society in Malaysia. Conventional classroom teaching seems difficult to attract secondary school students to engage physically and mentally in moral learning process. In this regard, the use of pedagogical strategies and innovative teaching techniques can stimulate students' cognitive skills to current demands. Therefore, this article discusses the use of Forum Theatre as a creative pedagogical strategies in teaching and learning of moral education in secondary school. Creative teaching strategies that are able to develop reasonable thought and justification, is essential for the development of human capital in the era of globalization. Understanding and adherence to an ethic can help a person in performing moral actions. Thus, this article discusses the potential of short film acting activities as a teaching method in improving students' understanding of the ethical elements as school students. A total of 18 female and male students (three focused groups) from the form four Moral Education class were used for the purpose of data collection. Sampling techniques were used to select study participants. This qualitative study was conducted using observation protocol instruments, interview protocols and journal writing guides aimed at collecting data. Data analysis shows that acting activities in the teaching and learning of Moral Education can help students to understand and implement moral actions by adhering to moral ethics.

The study attempts to explore the challenges confronting head teachers in the management of special schools in Ghana. The study was conducted using qualitative research design. Nine out of 29 head teachers were sampled for the study. All head teachers stressed that they were confronted with numerous challenges that affect the management of the schools. The main challenge identified by the study participants was that special education teachers in Ghana were not adequately motivated. The study therefore recommended that special incentive packages be instituted for teachers in the schools and that the Ministry of Education should release funds on time to the schools to enable the school management acquires the resources needed for effective teaching and learning in the special schools.

Creating people of high moral character and integrity who adhere to universal values based on moral principles is the ultimate goal of the Moral Education Curriculum. In this regard, the use of an appropriate approach to convey teaching is a key requirement. Such approaches need to be able to develop the moral domain set forth in the Moral Education Secondary Curriculum Standard for moral reasoning, moral emotion and moral behaviour. This study discusses the Practice of the Caring Approach through Forum Theatre to develop caring's moral reasoning among students of Moral Education. The methods in this Approach which aremodelling, dialogue, practice and certainty are integrated with Forum Theatre elements such as script development, anti-model acting, forums and acting intervention. The findings of the study show that Forum Theatre is an appropriate technique for implementing caring moral reasoning among Moral Education students. Practices, especially caring's moral reasoning can be demonstrated explicitly and concrete through Forum Theatre techniques.

Making use of ICT and applying authentic assessment in the teaching and learning activities represent an obligatory from Indonesian Ministry of Education and Culture. This study aimed at finding out types of ICT used in the authentic assessment of the productive skills, describing the implementation of ICT in the authentic assessment of the productive skills, explaining the possible problems faced by the English teachers in the implementation, and explaining the solution used by the teachers to solve the problems. This study was a descriptive study with qualitative approach. The data were collected through interview, observation, and documentation to three English teachers, a curriculum coordinator, a facility and infrastructure administrator, and three students, were validated through methodological triangulations and were analyzed using Miles and Huberman�s analysis model (1994), namely data reduction, data display and conclusion, and verification. The results discovered that there were three types of ICT in the authentic assessment of the productive skills, the teachers had different methods in implementing the three types of ICT tools based on the types of authentic assessment concerning aspects of productive skills, they encountered three main problems in the implementation, and they were educated and motivated to have their solutions to overcome the difficulties.

The purpose of this study is to explore the practice of giving teachers in teaching and learning (PdP) Islamic education preschool. Preschool is the level of early childhood in Malaysia following the curriculum provided by the Ministry of education (MOE). These are the primary education in an effort to educate the younger generation successor race so as to have the knowledge, moral and have a strong resilience. A total of four study participants are selected based on criteria, which taught Islamic Education Curriculum Standard National preschool (KSPK), attend courses organised by KPM, teaching the subjects of Islamic Education Preschool for more than three years, and be prepared and agreed on a voluntary basis for observed, interviewed, and analysed documents. Data for the qualitative study collected through triangulasi between the techniques of observation data, interviews, and analysis of documents. The data collected was subsequently analyzed using Nvivo software version 11. The findings show that occur multiple application of moral values in the PdP Islamic education Preschool. Teachers also adopt these elements through a variety of ways. The teacher makes the practice of gift giving to pupils as one applications of charity as well as techniques improve motivation to learn. This study resulted ‘Preschool Teacher in Charity Practices Model’ that can provide guidance and expected benefits to parents, teachers, curriculum makers especially to all parties involved with early childhood education. This finding also expected a positive impact to produce the next generation of great starting from pre-school to higher education.
