Abstract: The Poor Student Assistance Program is a government program aimed at removing barriers to poor students from participating in school to support the Nine-Year Compulsory Basic Education Program. According to TNP2K, the target of BSM recipients is based on the criteria of students' economic conditions and not on the achievements of students. The problem so far is not a few are found that BSM recipients are those who are classified as capable so that this program is not well-targeted. The purpose of applying the combination of 2 AHP and MFEP methods is to apply Decision Support System (SPK) technology in determining students who receive poor student assistance at Tamansiswa Sukadamai SMPS so that it helps decision-makers to get objective decisions. The combination is based on the superiority of each method in analyzing each criterion and alternatives related to the selection of BSM recipients. AHP is used to analyze criteria to produce criteria that have a good consistency. Then an alternative ranking process is carried out using the MFEP method. Based on the results of the analysis of the combination of the AHP and MFEP methods that have been carried out that the AHP method can help schools in determining the main factors that are very priority in receiving poor student assistance, while the MFEP method can determine the best alternative for eligible students as recipients of poor student assistance in the form of ranking the highest value is A9 with 1,097. Keywords: AHP Method; MFEP Method; Poor Student Assistance; SPK.

The Coffee Shop business is one of the trending businesses in Indonesia, so competition in this business field can be said to be increasing rapidly. In order to get a strategic business location, the majority of decision makers are wrong in choosing the location of their business, this is due to the lack of analysis and to the data from the location survey and the lack of decision-making limitations in analyzing the survey data. For this reason, it is necessary to create a system, where this system uses the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method to assist in processing survey data. The application of the Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method in determining the location of the Coffee Shop business is determined using 7 (criteria) criteria including rental prices, buildings, clean water, accessibility, distance to offices, internet connections and electricity sources. The final result of the process using the AHP method is ranking of several alternative locations that have been set, and several alternative locations get the highest global weight, it becomes recommendations for the development of this coffee shop business

The teacher is a major milestone in the world of education, the ability and achievement of students cannot be separated from the role of a teacher in teaching and guiding students. Based on the Law of the Republic of Indonesia No. 14 of 2005 concerning Teachers and Lecturers, in Article 1 explained that teachers are professional educators with the main task of educating, teaching, guiding, directing, training, evaluating, and evaluating students in early childhood education through formal education, basic education and education medium. Whereas in Article 4 of the Act, it is explained that the position of teachers as professionals serves to enhance the dignity and role of teachers as learning agents to function to improve the quality of national education.Decision making is an election process, among various alternatives that aim to meet one or several targets. The decision-making system has 4 phases, namely intelligence, design, choice and implementation. These phases are the basis for decision making, which ends with a recommendation. The Preferences Selection Index (PSI) method is a rarely used decision support system method. This method is a method developed by stevanie and Bhatt (2010) to solve the Multi Criteria Decision Making (MCDM). With the right consideration, this method can be one of the tools to determine policies in decision-making systems, especially the selection of outstanding teachers. Determination of policies taken as a basis for decision making, must use criteria that can be defined clearly and objectively. Keywords: Decision Support System, PSI, Selection of Achieving Teachers

Decision problems are usually complex and involve evaluation of several conflicting criteria (parameters). Multi Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) is a promising field that considers the parallel influence of all criteria and aims at helping decision makers in expressing their preferences, over a set of predefined alternatives, on the basis of criteria (parameters) that are contradictory in nature. The Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) is a useful and widespread MCDM tool for solving such type of problems, as it allows the incorporation of conflicting objectives and decision makers preferences in the decision making. The AHP utilizes the concept of pair wise comparison to find the order of criteria (parameters) and alternatives. The comparison in a pairwise manner becomes quite tedious and complex for problems having eight alternatives or more, thereby, limiting the application of AHP. This paper presents a soft hierarchical process approach based on soft set decision making which eliminates the least promising candidate alternatives and selects the optimum(potential) ones that results in the significant reduction in the number of pairwise comparisons necessary for the selection of the best alternative using AHP, giving the approach a more realistic view. A supplier selection problem is used to illustrate the proposed approach.
