The purpose of this study was to see the effectiveness of emotional intelligence training in helping subjects overcome the conflict they were experiencing. Conflict is a situation where each other conflicts with each other. In the organisation's scope, namely the Student Council, conflict refers to disagreements between people or members of the Student Council. Improper application of conflict management can lead to unsanitary working conditions. It shows the importance of the intervention given to manage conflict, especially in the Student Council, which is through emotional intelligence training. The research design used was experimental (one group pretest-posttest) with 19 subjects (15-18 years). The training consisted of six sessions and was conducted over two days. The results obtained from this study were that there was a significant increase and change in the integrating type (p = 0.027, p<0.05) and compromising (p = 0.021, p<0.05). While the other types, namely domination, avoiding, and obliging, did not experience significant changes. Through emotional intelligence training, participants will learn how to control emotions so that when faced with problems, participants can use appropriate conflict management to solve these problems.

This study investigated the impact of Conflict Management on Employee’s Performance and implementing the Furlong ‘tool box of conflict analyzing model to find out how conflict will be resolved easily , effectively and improve the overall Employee’s performance. This study developed the survey research design. 200 respondents were selected of different organizations for the study. Questionnaire was used to collect primary data. Hypothesis was tested through regression analysis. The findings of the research revealed that effective management tools develop the employee’s performance in the organization. Furlong tool box of conflict analyzing model provide favorable outcomes in the perspectives of Trust, Behavior, Avoidance and Emotions. The result and outcomes of my research provide a structure and importance of application of Conflict management in cooperation to find out how will minimize the clash between the employees and subordinates for the betterment of the employee’s performance. The other organizations can also get benefits of this research.

This study investigates the influence of librarians„ emotional intelligence on conflict management in private university libraries in South-West and South-South, Nigeria. The study adopted a survey research design. The population comprises 200 librarians in South-West and South-South, Nigeria. Total enumeration technique was used. A questionnaire was used for data collection. The instrument was tested for reliability, yielding Cronbach‟s alpha coefficients ranging from 0.87 to 0.95. Descriptive & inferential Statistics were used to analyse the data. The findings revealed that intrapersonal, interpersonal, intragroup, and intergroup conflicts as predominant in libraries. Collaborating, accommodating, sharing, avoidance and competing were prevalent techniques for managing conflicts in libraries. Librarians were found to be highly emotionally intelligent. The study concluded that librarians‟ emotional intelligence influenced conflict management. The study recommended that there is a need for private University Libraries to tackle misunderstandings among librarians while at the same time ensuring librarians are constantly emotionally intelligent.

This study has been aimed to find out the correlation emotional intelligence and Rhtype. The simple sizes were 35 undergraduate and graduate of Abadan Oil College with the cluster sampling. The correlation between emotional intelligence and P/N blood groups was 0.085 and it does not accept by standard statistics. We enter the other variable as emotional intelligence groups. The correlation between Rh type and emotional intelligence groups was 0.136 and this correlation in 0/2 significance level had been reported significant. The result was tested by t test, and analysis shown significance difference.it was found that scattering of Rh type was not equal on EI.As well as positive groups can receive upper scores of EI than negative ones and negatives groups have less scores of EI the other. In fact most positives have scores between "114-148", means that they can perch in the medium and high groups of EI.

The main goal of this research is to determine whether the journalism education of the leading media schools inGeorgia is adequate to modern media market’s demands and challenges. The right answer to this main questionwas found after analyzing Georgian media market’s demands, on the one hand, and, on the other hand, differentaspects of journalism education in Georgia: the historical background, development trends, evaluation ofeducational programs and curricula designs, reflection of international standards in teaching methods, studyingand working conditions.

To study the velocity and pressure distribution of the oil film in a heavy hydrostatic thrust bearing, a mathematical model of the velocity is proposed and the finite volume method (FVM) has been used to simulate the flow field under different working conditions. Some pressure experiments were carried out and the results verified the correctness of the simulation. It is concluded that the pressure distribution varies small under different rotation speed when the surface load on the workbench is constant. But the velocity of the oil film is influenced greatly by the rotation speed. When the rotation speed of the workbench is as quick as enough, the velocity of the oil film on one radial side of the pad will be zero, that is to say the lubrication oil will be drained from the other three sides of the recess.

Fault detection for aileron actuators mainly involves the enhancement of reliability and fault tolerant capability. Considering the complexity of the working conditions of aileron actuators, a fault detection method for an aileron actuator under variable conditions is proposed in this study. A bi-step neural network is utilized for fault detection. The first neural network, which is employed as the observer, is established to monitor the aileron actuator and generate the residual error. The other neural network generates the corresponding adaptive threshold synchronously. Faults are detected by comparing the residual error and the threshold. In considering of the variable conditions, aerodynamic loads are introduced to the bi-step neural network. The training order spectrums are designed. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed scheme is demonstrated by a simulation model with different faults.

This article examines GRIP, a rehabilitation program currently spreading through California’s state prison system. While most ‘violent offenders’ come to GRIP hoping to increase chances of parole, this yearlong program with four main components – stopping violence, mindfulness, emotional intelligence, understanding victim impact – is meant to create conditions in which inmates can ‘do the work’ leading to genuine transformation. A central claim is that due in part to the trauma-treatment model GRIP follows, inmates end up ‘stumbling on the gold’ and going through changes (involving recovery of an ‘authentic self ’ rooted in childhood) that helps enable skillful responses even to ‘moments of imminent danger’. Understandably, researchers of such programs may seek theoretical inspiration from the ‘dominant’ version of Foucault. Yet this paper sets out to change the conversation about prisons and rehabilitation in part by demonstrating the utility of the ‘other’ Foucault’s pragmatic recovery of body-based self-disciplining practices and regimes.
