This study aims to determine the application of biology monopoly learning media on the material classification of living things in increasing motivation to learn junior high school students. This study uses a descriptive quantitative research approach that is oriented towards measuring student learning motivation. Data analysis techniques using motivation scores. Data collection techniques using student learning motivation questionnaire. The samples in this study were 64 grade 7 students of SMPN 14 and SMPN 17 Mataram taken using purposive sampling technique. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that, biology monopoly media can build student motivation on aspects of interest in learning, independence in answering questions and the courage to express opinions.

Learning independence is the ability of a student in realizing his will or desire in a way without dependent on others. This study aims to determine the relationship between learning discipline and learning motivation with the independence of student learning in SMA Negeri 1 Binjai. This research is quantitative research with population as much as 324 students of SMA Negeri 1 Binjai. By using stratified random sampling technique obtained sample of 180 respondents. Data analysis technique using Multiple Regression Analysis. In general, discipline, motivation to learn, and independence of high school students learn 1 Binjai classified high. The results showed that in the first hypothesis there is a positive and significant correlation between discipline with student learning independence in SMA Negeri 1 Binjai with correlation coefficient of 0.730 and p 0.000, then the second hypothesis shows that there is a positive and significant relationship between learning motivation with independence student learning, with correlation coefficient of 0.751 and p 0.000 and in the third hypothesis showed that there is a positive and significant relationship between discipline and learning motivation with learning independence with a correlation coefficient of 0.793 and p 0.000. The total effective contribution between the learning discipline and the learning motivation toward the independence of the students of SMA Negeri 1 Binjai is 62.8%.

This study aims to determine the effect of the short video Tik Tok application on the existence of senior high school students. The theory used in this research is the CMC (Computer Mediated Communication) theory which is applied by the media to users which causes mood modification, tolerance, withdrawal, and conflict. The research approach used a quantitative approach using the Rho Spearman correlation analysis. The data collection technique used a questionnaire.The results showed that there was a significant correlation between the use of the Tik Tok application and the existence of high school equivalent students in Pekan Baru Riau. There were 36 respondents in this study using purposive sampling technique. The coefficient value shows a correlation of 0.637 with a significance level of p = 0.000 (p <0.05), meaning that the higher the use of the Tik Tok application, the higher the existence of junior high school students. On the other hand, the lower the use of the Tik Tok application, the lower the existence of high school students. The Tik Tok application shows that it can channel the talents of its users to share hobbies, talents and expertise with everyone. The advantage of Tik Tok that other applications do not have is the completeness of various video features for its users. Although there are social media such as YouTube that offers video features in the form of video sharing channels, YouTube only provides channels for certain users who meet the requirements, not for everyone.

ABSTRACT   Parents are the most influential figure in the life of every child. Parental involvement in the learning process can also affect the process of life is huge in children. In addition, the teachers and the learning environment in schools can also influence the motivation to learn so that students can master the student's mastery of concepts in science lessons in schools, especially physics known as a difficult subject among junior high school students. Therefore teachers and learning environments should be supportive atmosphere so that students more motivated to follow the lessons of Natural Sciences. The purpose of this study was to determine the increase in student motivation by using STEM-based science learning. This study uses a quantitative research with the participation of as many as 28 students of class VIII-5 on one of the Junior High School in Bandung. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire on aspects of learning motivation Need for Achievement, Need for Power aspects, and aspects of the Need for Affiliation. The results showed that the students' motivation to learn the most improved there on aspects Need for Power showed an increase by a margin of 3.53 and an average pretest and posttest of 0.89. It can be concluded that the application of STEM-based science learning can increase students' motivation. Solutions to increase learning motivation towards science subjects can use based learning Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).  Keywords: Motivation; STEM.

Education is a essential requirement for life. The need for education can be felt in all aspects of human life.  Education is inseparable from the activity of learning and the activity of  teaching and educational success is inseparable from the process of  learning and teaching. The problems often encountered in the process  of learning is the low results obtained by the learning learners.  One of the factors that influence the results of the learning outcomes is  motivation. The motivation of learning is an impuls that is in someone to  be more active and diligent in learning to achieve the desired learning  outcomes. This research is descriptive research of correlation that aims  to reveal how the correlation between motivation of learning and student  learning outcomes. This research was conducted in January in grade  VII SMPN 22 Padang lessons year 2018/2019. The sample consisted  of 30 students in one class, VII 5. Sampling technique is simple random  sampling, by drawing one class which was made of a sample.  The results of the study indicate a correlation between learning motivation and  the students' cognitive science learning outcomes with a value of r = 0,53,  the coefficient of the thitumg was 3,31 greater than the ttable of 2,02,  so it can be concluded that there is a significant correlation and positive  between learning motivation and students' IPA cognitive learning outcomes  in class VII 5 of SMPN 22 Padang.

This study was to measure the Van Hiele’s levels of geometric thinking attained by Ghanaian Junior High School Form 3 (JHS 3) students before writing the BECE. A quantitative research approach was employed in the study and a sample of 105 students randomly selected from the four schools. The results showed that 22 students (20.95%) of the students could not attain any VHG level at all, that means they were in level 0. 65 students (61.91%) of the students attained Van Hiele’s level 1, 17 (16.19%) reached level 2, and only 1 (0.95%) reached level 3. An independent t-test yielded no statistically significant difference between public and private school students in their geometric thinking levels t(103) = 0.926, p > 0.05. The findings indicated that most of the Ghanaian JHS graduates do not attain satisfactory levels of VHGT. Recommendations are made for improving the teaching of geometry.

<p>The purpose of this study is to. Knowing the influence of learning motivation and interest towards the achievement of Junior High School students learn math in Karawaci subdistrict of Tangerang. The sample used in the 63 students who get with a random sampling technique. The collection of data by questionnaire (question form) to gauge interest and motivation to learn, while learning math achievement is taken from the value of the UAS. Test results whose hypotheses, namely 1) find out the influence of the interest and motivation of learning together towards the achievement of Junior High School students learn math in Karawaci subdistrict of Tangerang. 2) know how the learning interest towards the achievement of Junior High School students learn math in Karawaci subdistrict of Tangerang. 3) know how the learning motivation toward achievement of Junior High School students learn math in Karawaci subdistrict of Tangerang.</p>

The study was conducted because it wanted to provide information about student activities in basketball extracurricular activities for junior high school students in Bangkalan Regency during the COVID19 pandemic. This study uses a quantitative research approach using survey methods with questionnaires or questionnaires. This study aims to 5 schools that have been surveyed with 91 students as respondents. The instrument by collecting data from respondents is a questionnaire using a Likert scale with 10 statements compiled. From the results of the study, students still carried out basketball extracurricular activities even though it was still a COVID-19 pandemic in accordance with the coach's directions including physical activities and movement techniques. Based on the results of the junior high school basketball extracurricular survey research in Bangkalan Regency during the COVID-19 pandemic, it can be interpreted that students are still doing physical activities and playing basketball and coaches are still providing training directions to students who take basketball extracurricular activities even though it is still a pandemic. Education has a very close relationship to the change of values and culture, therefore in order to achieve the purity of the culture, education needs to form a strong individual person, in order to achieve a golden Indonesia by not softening existing values and cultures. Therefore, this research is important in lalakukan aims to know the social and cultural system of Indonesian people in the curriculum of ips learning at the first intermediate level in Riau province. This study uses descriptive evaluative design with mixed method type that combines qualitative and quantitative research. Purposive smpling is a sampling technique used by researchers, with several stages of data collection including: observation, interview, documentation and questionnaires. After research and results were obtained that the 2013 curriculum is better used in junior high school students compared to KTSP, by using the 2013 curriculum and a qualified strategy in the learning process can increase students' curiosity towards learning and social problems in the environment, students can understand the learning well and deeper into the value of Malay culture.

This study aimed at determining the improvement of the quality of students who refered to several factors, namely self-regulated learning, self-efficacy and parental involvement in Education using a quantitative research approach with the Self-Efficiency scale, the scale of parental involvement in education and the scale of self-regulated learning. In this study it could be said that the ability of self-efficacy and parent involvement in education were able to predict the ability of self-regulated learning. Junior high school students realized that their abilities were supported by parents who provided assistance in the learning process would make it easier to regulate teenage learning activities.Abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan kualitas pebelajar yang merujuk pada beberapa faktor yaitu self-regulated learning, efikasi diri dan keterlibatan orangtua dalam Pendidikan dengan menggunakan pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif dengan skala Efikasi Diri, Skala keterlibatan orangtua dalam pendidikan dan Skala self regulated learning. Pada penelitian ini dapat dikatakan bahwa kemampuan efikasi diri dan Keterlibatan orangtua dalam pendidikan mampu memprediksi kemampuan self regulated learning. Remaja SMP menyadari akan kemampuan yang mereka miliki didukung oleh orangtua yang memberikan bantuan dalam proses belajar akan mempermudah dalam meregulasi kegiatan belajar remaja.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of online games towards aggressiveness of junior high school students in Sidoarjo Regency. This research used a quantitative research through an explanatory approach. The sampling technique in this study was a random sampling of 100 students in the Krian District, Sidoarjo Regency. Analyzing data used linear regression. The results showed that the online games that is currently booming in Sidoarjo Regency were Game Action Adventure (78.2%), Game action "lostaga" (77.2%), FPS (first person shooter) "Cross Fire" (73, 4%). Aggressiveness that was the most often done by the respondent did not serve the conversation (75.4%) did not prevent others to hurt those who have hurt him (71.2%), and did not talk the person who has hurt him (69.2%). Based on research showed that, the study of online games did not affect to the aggressiveness of the child.
