Many acute respiratory infections or ARI are caused by viruses that attack the nose, trachea (breathing tube), or the lungs. It can be said that ARI is caused by inflammation that disrupts a person's breathing process. If not treated quickly, ARI can spread to all respiratory systems and prevent the body from getting proper oxygen, moreover it can cause the loss of a person's life. This research aims to diagnose ARI as an early step in practicing artificial intelligence in medicine, designing and apply an expert system that can diagnose ARI. The procedure used in this study uses forward chaining with tracking that begins with input data, and then creates a diagnosis or solution. The expert system used to diagnose acute respiratory inflammation uses the Forward chaining procedure with a data-driven approach, in this approach tracking starts from input data, and then seeks to draw conclusions, so that it can be used. diagnose the type of disease associated with the ARD disease experienced by showing the existing signs.

Abstrack:  The ability of computers to remember and store information properly can be utilized without having to depend on deficiencies that humans have, such as hunger, thirst and emotions that can be felt at any time as humans. Except for electrical energy, all human weaknesses in remembering something can be done by a computer without obstacles. This forward tracking is a data-driven approach. In this approach tracking starts with input information, and then tries to draw conclusions. The basic concept of an expert system where the user submits information or facts to the expert system then the user receives a solution or answer from the expert system. Expert System Application to Detect Heavy Equipment Damage at PT.Tamako Raya Perdana was made so that it can help Heavy Equipment Operators (Excavators) or Companies, and may be able to help Mechanics if they forget the mechanism of action on Heavy Equipment (Excavators). So they no longer need to bother to get the information they need in handling problems in the Excavator. Keyword: expert system, forward chaining, heavy equipment Abstrak: Kemampuan Komputer untuk mengingat dan menyimpan informasi dengan baik dapat dimanfaatkan tanpa harus bergantung kepada kekurangan-kekurangan yang dimiliki manusia, seperti lapar, haus dan emosi yang sewaktu-waktu bisa dirasakan seperti pada manusia. Kecuali karena energy listrik, semua kelemahan manusia dalam mengingat sesuatu bisa dilakukan oleh komputer tanpa kendala. Pelacakan kedepan atau runut maju ini adalah pendekatan yang dimotori data (data-driven). Dalam pendekatan ini pelacakan dimulai dari informasi masukan, dan selanjutnya mencoba menggambarkan kesimpulan. Konsep dasar sistem pakar dimana pengguna menyampaikan informasi atau fakta untuk sistem pakar kemudian pengguna menerima solusi atau jawaban dari sistem pakar. Aplikasi Sistem Pakar Untuk Mendeteksi Kerusakan Alat Berat  Pada PT.Tamako Raya Perdana ini dibuat agar dapat membantu para Operator Alat Berat (Excavator) atau Perusahaan, dan mungkin dapat membantu Mekanik bila lupa akan mekanisme kerja pada Alat Berat (Excavator). Sehingga mereka tidak perlu lagi bersusah payah untuk mendapatkan informasi yang mereka butuhkan dalam menangani masalah-masalah pada Excavator tersebut. Kata kunci : sistem pakar, runut maju, alat berat

The eye is one of the organs in the body that has an important role in human life, because the eye is one of the organs that has a function as vision in carrying out every activity. Eye health really needs to be maintained by diligently consulting or having your eyes checked by a doctor so that vision remains clear and there are no eye problems when looking at objects around us. However, eye health is often neglected, so that many various diseases can attack the eye. If not handled properly, diseases that attack the eye can cause visual disturbances and lead to blindness. Therefore, the eye must be kept healthy and kept clean because it is a very important organ of the human body. The purpose of building this expert system is to assist the public in diagnosing eye diseases from the symptoms that are being felt. This expert system will be a way out of eye problems that are suffered by the community, In this way people no longer have trouble going to the doctor. All data and facts to be processed are obtained from an expert, the method used in diagnosing this eye disease is the forward chaining method to apply the rules of the 28 symptoms and 8 diseases described by the expert. The results of the diagnosis using the Forward Chaining method is a very good level of accuracy in determining the type of eye disease that is suffered by the community and can provide early prevention for users who use this expert system.

At this time hypertension is a disease that endangers the community a lot because people often ignore it because this disease does not quickly affect the body but will slowly damage health. Hypertension is not contagious but can trigger other diseases, such as stroke and heart disease. The habit of people who will check their health after experiencing problems causes delays in their help. Symptoms of hypertension can be detected early so that people can prevent the seriousness of the disease. The expert system is one of the fields of science that can help the public to check whether a person has hypertension and the type of hypertension and the percentage of possible diseases he suffers because the expert system can be designed how to work like an expert. The expert system designed uses several stages, namely (1) system requirements analysis, (2) input and output design, (3) coding and (4) testing. This expert system will be represented in the form of rules, the method of reasoning using the forward chaining method and probability theory in calculating the percentage of rules that are fulfilled. The form of output (results) from the expert system is in the form of diagnostic results based on the symptoms given and suggestions that are in accordance with the diagnosis used are forward chaining, namely drawing conclusions from several types of hypertension obtained from symptoms. The occurrence of bleeding in pregnancy is one of the most complications experienced by pregnant women. The limited knowledge possessed by pregnant women about the risks and dangers of bleeding during pregnancy and wrong or late handling when bleeding occurs is one of the factors that cause bad conditions that occur, namely fetuses and pregnant women can die due to bleeding experienced. This study aims to determine the level of accuracy in diagnosing bleeding that occurs in pregnancy by using the Forward Chaining method precisely and accurately. The data processed in this study were as many as 20 data which came from patient medical records and interviews with experts at RSKIA Sukma Bunda Payakumbuh. The processing stages consist of preparing input data, determining decision tables, creating rules, tracking processes, making decision trees, and tracking results. The results of testing this method are that there are 90% of patients who experience bleeding in pregnancy are based on the results of the consultation entered by the user. The results of this test have been able to diagnose bleeding in pregnancy quickly and accurately using the Forward Chaining method and can be recommended to help the doctor in the emergency room to diagnosing bleeding in pregnancy.

Abstrak - Kalkun merupakan sejenis unggas yang memiliki ukuran lebih besar yang berasal dari ordo Galliformes, genus Meleagris bukanlah hewan asli Indonesia. Dikarenakan kalkun mempunyai nilai jual tinggi terutama dagingnya yang berprotein tinggi dan rendah lemak serta kolesterol, maka kalkun mulai dibudidayakan di Indonesia. Banyak peternak kalkun menganggap bahwa penyakit yang menyerang kalkun sama dengan hewan unggas yang lain, hal ini yang menyebabkan tingkat pendapatan peternak menjadi berkurang/merosot. Dengan semakin majunya perkembangan teknologi, banyak aplikasi yang sudah diterapkan untuk dapat menyelesaikan suatu masalah salah satunya dengan menggunakaan. Sistem pakar dibuat untuk dapat menyelesaikan masalah tanpa harus mendatangkan ahli/pakarnya. Dalam penelitian ini, digunakan metode forward chaining (runtut maju) dimana proses dimulai dari pencarian premis atau data masukan yang berupa gejala sehingga didapat kesimpulan penyakit pada kalkun serta memberikan solusi mengenai pencegahan dan pengobatan berdasarkan gejala-gejala yang telah teramati. Jenis penyakit yang akan didiagnosis sebanyak 10 penyakit dengan jumlah gejala penyakit sebanyak 14 gejala.Kata kunci : penyakit kalkun, sistem pakar, forward chainingAbstract -Turkey is a type of bird that has a larger size that comes from the order Galliformes, the genus Meleagris is not native to Indonesia. Many turkey breeders consider that diseases that attack turkeys are the same as other poultry animals, which causes the farmer's income levels to decrease/decline. With the increasingly advanced development of technology, many applications have been implemented to solve a problem, one of them is by using it. Expert systems are made to solve problems without having to bring in experts/experts. In this study, a forward chaining method was used in which the process starts from the search for premise or input data in the form of symptoms so that conclusions can be reached on turkeys and provide solutions for prevention and treatment based on observed symptoms. The types of diseases that will be diagnosed are 10 diseases with 14 symptoms of the disease.Keywords: turkey, expert system, forward chaining

Gouty arthritis or gout is a type of joint disease that occurs due to uric acid levels that are too high in the blood. Under normal conditions, uric acid dissolves in the blood and passes through the urine. But under certain conditions, the body can produce uric acid in excessive amounts or experience a disruption in removing excess uric acid, so that uric acid accumulates in the body. Following this, a system is created that is able to provide patients with information like Gout by using methods forward chaining. This system is built using research and development methods that point to output in the form of expert system applications with the reading of the data carried out in forward chaining.

Chicken disease is a condition in which the body organs of chickens cannot function normally. Diagnosing a disease requires symptoms that appear on the chicken's body. To conduct a disease diagnosis, further examination is needed by specialists (experts). An expert system is a system that uses human knowledge that is entered into a computer to solve problems that are usually resolved by experts. The system created in solving problems uses the Bayes Theorem method in which the inference process uses Forward Chaining. The application was developed using the visual basic 2010 programming language and MySQL database.

Tanah Laut Regency is the largest producer of broilers in South Kalimantan. However, public knowledge about symptoms and diseases in chickens is still lacking, so this is a problem that must be resolved because it can cause losses. Therefore, this research was conducted with the aim of overcoming this problem, namely by building an expert system application that can be used by the public and extension workers to diagnose chicken disease. The method used to build this system is a waterfall with the forward chaining technique as a forward-looking solution, meaning that inference is done by looking for input data in the form of symptom data in the form of chicken disease. The system built is equipped with features that display disease treatment and prevention solutions based on the symptoms that have been entered, so that disease-stricken chickens can be handled appropriately and quickly according to their disease. Based on blackbox testing carried out by involving potential users, the results obtained that all functionality can work as expected. Accuracy testing is also done by comparing manual calculations with an accuracy value of 95%. This is influenced by the weighting of the symptom value which affects the decrease in the value of the symptom result when compared to ideal conditions. In conclusion, the implications of using this system can make it easier for the community and instructor to diagnose chicken disease.

Teeth are an important part of the body in the digestive process. As a start of the digestive process, teeth receive various kinds of food conditions such as sweet, cold, hard foods, and so on. These food conditions affect dental health so that when teeth are not treated they become vulnerable to disease. Society in general does not pay attention to pain in the teeth. Though the pain in the teeth can be caused by diseases such as dental caries, tartar, and others. The solution of this research is manifested in the form of an expert system to diagnose dental diseases using the Android-based Forward Chaining method. The expert system application used by researchers is McGoo. The purpose of this expert system is to help the public get information and carry out a diagnosis of dental disease independently. Users only need to answer the questions displayed by the system to get the results of the diagnosis in the form of the type of illness and treatment solutions that can be done. The results of the system diagnosis have been tested and validated by experts namely dentists who are the source of information and data. Based on the accuracy of the system diagnostic test results are by the results of the expert diagnosis.
