Purpose: This study aims to examine how students' academic performance changed, based on the test results of 16 integrated courses conducted in 3 semesters at Hanyang University College of Medicine that underwent a transition to online learning after COVID-19 in Korea. Methods: For the 16 required courses that included an integrated system-based curriculum that runs for t3 semesters, the major examination's raw scores were collected for each student. Percent-correct scores were used in the subsequent analysis. We used a t-test to compare grades between 2019 and 2020, and Cohen's D was calculated as a measure of effect size. The correlation of scores between courses was calculated using Pearson’s correlation coefficient. Results: There was a significant decrease in scores in 2020 for 10 courses (62.5%). While most of the integrated system-based curriculum test scores showed strong correlation, with a coefficient of 0.6 or higher in both 2019 and 2020, the correlation coefficient was generally higher in 2020. When students were divided into low, middle, and high achiever groups, low achievers consistently showed declining test scores in all three semesters. Conclusion: Our findings suggest that the transition to online classes due to COVID-19 has led to an overall decline in academic performance. This overall decline, which may occur when the curriculum is centered on recorded lectures, needs to be addressed. Further, medical schools need to consider establishing a support system for the academic development of low achievers.

This study aimed to determine the cognitive process employed in problem-solving related to the concept of area conservation for seventh graders. Two students with different mathematical ability were chosen to be the subjects of this research. Each of them was the representative of high achievers and low achievers based on a set of area conservation test. Results indicate that both samples performed more cyclic processes on formulating solution planning, regulating solution part and detecting and correcting error during the problem-solving. However, it was found that the high achiever student performed some processes than those of low achiever. Also, while the high achiever student did not predict any outcomes of his formulated strategies, the low achiever did not carry out the thought process after detecting errors of the initial solution gained. About the concept of area conservation, the finding also reveals that within the samples’ cognitive processes, the use of area formula come first before students decided to look for another strategy such as doing ‘cut-rotate-paste’ for the curved planes, which do not have any direct formula. The possible causes of the results were discussed to derive some recommendation for future studies.

Tests in schools can be informative. However, the Department of Education administered a set of examinations like the National Achievement Test which is designed to determine the learner's achievement level, strengths, and weaknesses in five curricular subject areas at the end of the school year. The study intended to look into the relationship between academic performance in Mathematics and NAT results. There has been a purposive universal sampling design. It is purposive because the research is only studying the academic performance in Mathematics, and universal because the subjects of the study are all the grade six pupils of Victoriano D. Tirol Advanced Learning Center for four consecutive school years. Documentary analysis was used as to the data of existing records on the academic performance and National Achievement Test results in Mathematics. The association between academic achievement and NAT outcomes in Mathematics was investigated using correlation analysis and one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA). The analyses revealed that there is a significant correlation between the pupil's academic performance and NAT results. Also, there is a significant degree of variance in the student's performance as to National Achievement Test Results in four consecutive school years.

The student's academic development, retention, and attainment gap are considered as the common key factors that influence the institutional academic performance. In this regard, educational institutions are focusing to reduce the attainment gap between good, average, and poor performing students. Two different datasets are taken for this study. Students' data is collected through questionnaire, and Dataset 1 (D1) is created. The second dataset (D2) is taken from the repository. Both the datasets have been preprocessed followed by attribute selection and predictive modeling. In this study, predictive models have been built, and the learners are classified as high, average, and low performers based on their academic scores as well as on their demographic characters. The three classifier models are applied on the datasets. Based on the evaluation measures, the best classifier is identified. This early identification of low performance students will help the educators as well as the learners to put a special care to enhance the learning process as well as to improve the academic performance.

Inertial navigation system (INS) is a self-contained navigation technique. Its main purpose is to determinate the position and the trajectory of the object´s movement in space. This technique is well represented not only as a supplementary method (GPS/INS integrated system) but as an autonomous system for navigation of vehicles and pedestrians, also. The aim of this paper is to design a test for low-cost inertial measurement units. The test results give us information about accuracy, which determine the possible use in indoor navigation or other applications. There are described some methods for processing the data obtained by inertial measurement units, which remove noise and improve accuracy of position and orientation.

An initial survey that had been done  found that the location of the settlement where residents of cipayung lived was very close to the location of the Cipayung Landfill. The unhealthy environment tended to cause disease and any other health problems, so that efforts needed to be made to overcome this, one effort that could be done is training on health . This counseling activity was attended by 21 residents living in the village of West Bulak which is the closest residential location to the Cipayung landfill site. Wilcoxon test results on the pre-test and post-test scores of participants showed a P- value of 0.001 which means that there were differences in the level of knowledge of the participants after attending counseling. The average value of pre-test and post-test had a difference of 34.5 shows that counseling that has been carried out is able to increase knowledge.

Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) is an unmanned aircraft system that is no longer a special need but has become a general need for the community, and one example is used to capture everyday moments through photos or videos from the air. Among the models of UAV aircraft is the quadcopter, where there is a flight controller that functions to fly the quadcopter by adjusting the speed of each motor. The flight controller that is often used today is the Pixhawk manufacturer. The Pixhawk module is an integrated system that the factory has provided, so it cannot be modified in terms of control and I/O. This research focuses on making an independent flight controller that can be used to fly a quadcopter. The control method that is implanted is Proportional Integral Derivative or commonly known as PID. The flight controller uses the PID control method to adjust each Brushless DC Motor (BLDC) speed to maintain stability while flying. From the test results, the quadcopter can fly stably with KP parameters of 2.5, KI of 0.6, and KD of 1.0. The response time in processing feedback is 3s.
