Currently, one of the main tasks facing animal husbandry is to ensure the conservation of land to provide the population with high-quality livestock products, as well as to increase the productivity and productivity of each livestock. The correct implementation of this task primarily depends on the creation of a solid feed base. This, in turn, is possible due to the improvement and introduction of feed production technologies that do not depend on natural conditions. The technology of mixed feed production is a set of operations (grinding, dosing, mixing, etc.) performed in a certain sequence. As a result of these operations, feed is obtained from the raw materials (grain components, mineral additives, vitamins, salts, etc.) with the parameters specified in accordance with its recipe. The creation of a multicomponent dispenser-mixer capable of preparing grain mixtures in a continuous flow with high uniformity of dosing and mixing requires research and development work and is caused by the need of agricultural enterprises for such dispensers-mixers. In the technological line under study, the feed components are alternately crushed and loaded into the mixing unit. The processing line is equipped with an electronic weighing system that allows you to accurately dose the components of compound feeds and accumulate data on grain consumption. The raw materials for the preparation of compound feeds are cereals, as well as protein and vitamin supplements. The system of feeding protein and vitamin supplements is carried out by an auger, which ensures their supply to the mixing zone even with their minimum amount. The fineness of the grinding is regulated by replacing the sieve in the crusher.

On-farm compound feed production from self-produced raw materials is favorable to agricultural enterprises under present-day conditions. The authors carried out a comparative technical and economic study of the conventional and modular small-scale on-farm compound feed plants with a capacity of 2 tons per hour, designed for agricultural enterprises with an average livestock population of 6…8 thousand pigs. The proposed modular plant consists of two modules – the operative storage of raw materials and the main module of grinding and mixing. Modules with installed equipment are delivered and placed on a light foundation, connected by transport equipment and with tanks for raw materials and fi nished products. The conventional factory is a technological line housed in a hangar and used for crushing, metering, and mixing raw materials. It consists of a separator, a hammer mill, weighing equipment, a mixer, containers for raw materials and fi nished products, transport, and aspiration equipment. The technical and economic analysis has shown that the erection and operation of the on-farm modular enterprise require 41% less capital investments than a traditional compound feed plant of the same capacity. The use of a small-scale modular plant will reduce operating costs by 23.8% (from 3094 to 2358 thousand rubles), increase the specifi c economic eff ect from the compound feed production by 1.6% (from 8.64 to 8.78 thousand rubles per ton) and return on margin by 4% (from 10.2 to 10.6%), reduce the payback period by 42% (from 0.8 to 0.46 years), and increase the net present value by 3% (from 66167 to 68216 thousand rubles), as compared to a conventional enterprise. The modular on-farm plants producing loose compound feed with a productivity of up to 3 tons per hour are profi table and economically sound as they can increase production effi ciency of compound feeds for farm animals.`

The article presents statistics on the number of pigs and poultry in Ukraine and Odessa region for 1990-2019 and the results of the calculation of needs for premixes and protein-vitamin supplements (PVS) in Ukraine, and in particular, in Odessa region, the average increase and volumes of compound feed consumption. The main purpose of the calculation is to determine the production potential of premixes and compound feeds in Ukraine and in the region, the cost of compound feeds in poultry farming using different types of premixes and PVS.According to the Main Department of Statistics in Odesa Oblast, the number of pigs has decreased over the past five years, and the number of poultry has increased by 7.3%.The calculation of the need for premixes and PVS is determined by the volume of feed production, the need for which depends on the number of livestock and poultry, data on their average growth and consumption of feed. The method of calculating the number of pigs and poultry (forecast) depending on the needs of the population in livestock food, as well as the results of the forecast of the number of pigs and chickens in Ukraine and Odessa region for 2020-2023, which amounted to 5702, 0 and 173.0 thousand goals, 224.8 and 3.3 million goals, respectively. The calculations taking into account the export-import potential of raw materials showed that in the Odessa region there is a shortage of capacity, namely: P mf forecast = 104819.6 thousand tons.  0, P mf forecast ≥ M year, ie 104819.6  9000.0 thousand tons, so in the Odessa region should provide a feed mill with a capacity of 15 thousand tons per shift in two shifts is appropriate and reasonable. The potential of production and sale of compound feeds in the Odessa region, which is up to 8500 thousand tons of feed, 85 thousand tons of premixes and 2430 thousand tons of PVS, calculated the main producers and consumers of feed products. The estimated economic efficiency of the use of feed enriched with complex premixes, as a result of which it is possible to reduce the cost of obtaining 10 eggs to 280 million UAH. per year, and in the fattening of suckling piglets - zeko-nomity in the production of pork up to 3.15 million UAH.

Feed production has been and remains one of the most important and complex problems in agriculture. The production of forage far exceeds the gross production of all other crop products. At the same time, being the most important branch of agriculture, they do not meet the needs of animal husbandry. The development of animal husbandry has recently been characterized by major organizational and technical changes. The process of specialization and concentration of its individual industries is under way at an accelerated pace. A network of large complexes for the production of livestock products on an industrial basis is being created, and farms are being comprehensively mechanized. All this led to an increase in the production of all livestock products. The successful development of animal husbandry depends, first of all, on the state of the fodder base. In recent years, fodder production has developed into one of the most important branches of agriculture. Analysis of the current state of feed production in North Ossetia shows that the supply of livestock with feed is 1.5 times lower than in some regions of the Russian Federation and has a tendency to further decline. This is due to the fact that feed production is aimed at volumetric rather than quality indicators. Therefore, all vegetable feeds of our own production are characterized by a low concentration of protein in dry matter (8.3-9.2%) and metabolizable energy (8.2-8.5 MJ). Clover is one of the leading forage crops. Its role as a cheap source of protein for animals and as an excellent precursor in crop rotation is well known. Agrotechnical significance is also great: thanks to the nodule bacteria settling on the roots of clover, it is able to assimilate atmospheric nitrogen. Clover roots penetrate deep into the ground, loosen the soil layer, extracting nutrients that are difficult for other plants to reach, enrich the soil with organic matter, improve its structure, physical properties, fix the arable layer and protect it from water and wind erosion. Get ting high and stable yields is possible with uninterrupted, harmonious, balanced supply of plants with basic nutrients in accordance with their needs throughout the growing season. The size of the yield is the most important indicator of the effectiveness of the culture under study, cultivation conditions, agricultural techniques and their combinations. It is advisable to focus on modern biological products and complex bioorganic fertilizers, because their composition is as close to optimal values as possible.

In a market economics the main reference point for livestock enterprises is the factor of stability and financial well-being. With more than half of all expenses of livestock production is necessary for feed because livestock productivity is mainly dependent on feed, on their efficacy and safety must be first and foremost, the focus in feed production. Only under these environments can the growing productivity of animals, high quality of products and consistent reduction of its primecost be ensured. The influence of the feed base on the development of animal husbandry is shown in the following: properly balanced nutritional feed rations dramatically increase the productivity of animals, increase milk yield, and average daily gains of live weight. The use of biologically and economically effective rations of animals and poultry, first of all, helps to reduce the prime-cost of livestock products, achieve profitability of its production, increase competitiveness in domestic and global markets and ultimately improve the quality of life of Russians. The role of mathematics, including probability theory and mathematical statistics in feed production are indisputable. It makes it possible to build a mathematical model of the object under study, i.e. to describe its most significant features and properties in the language of mathematical concepts and equations. The examples of analytical calculations based on the use of Poisson distribution properties, which allow us to implement a model of high-performance feed with the content of biologically active substances of components in the specified diets of animals and poultry have been provided in the article. The results of the calculations have been summarized in the table to which this brief explanation.

The provision of animal feed in the form of forages or soybeans made by goat farmers in general is still traditional. Drajat Village is one of the villages where the goat breeders still use conventional methods in processing their feed. The aspect needed in small to medium scale farms is the speed of feed production time in the form of powder feed that is ready for use. To fulfill this aspect, we made goat feed chopping machines in the implementation of this Community Service Program (PKM). The animal feed chopping machine is designed with various stages including observation, consultation, science and technology diffusion, training and socialization of the use of tools. The components that are made include the engine frame, cutting knife and trajectory of entering the raw material (soybean cake). Whereas for components purchased are pulleys, V-belts, drive motors, shafts, casings and bearing bearings. From these components the assembly and manufacturing process will be carried out using tool kit equipment. The aim of this program is to provide skills training to groups of goat farmers in processing feed sources by doing mechanical processing through modernization of livestock with multipurpose animal feed counting machines, reducing the level of difficulty in animal feed search especially in the dry season and providing insight into entrepreneurship in the field of animal husbandry utilize raw materials to do the grinding process and then can be marketed to farmers in various regions. The results of this program are the achievement of a group of goat farmers who are able to produce or process animal feed independently in powder form. When animal feed ingredients are abundant, they make powder feed and store it as food self-sufficiency during the dry season.ABSTRAK Pemberian pakan ternak berupa hijauan ataupun onggok kedelai yang dilakukan oleh peternak kambing pada umumnya masih bersifat tradisional. Problems of adaptation agricultural enterprises to the market environment are analyzed. Adaptation in agriculture is complicated by the long production period and volatility of product prices. Due to the improper formation of infrastructure, the agricultural market does not perform the function of price stabilization. Constant re-profiling of the enterprise is required. This does not contribute to stable functioning. There are not price forecasting services in Ukraine. Financial resources and staffing of even relatively large enterprises are insufficient for such forecasting. In such conditions, especially large-sized enterprises are developing as a priority. Their activities are focused on foreign markets, where prices are more stable. This strengthens the export potential of Ukraine's agriculture and exacerbates rural unemployment and social problems in rural areas. In addition, it is difficult for large enterprises to adapt to market environment. Compared to small enterprises, their re-profiling requires longer time and greater financial resources. In highly competitive markets, the differentiation of consumers by requirements for food products is growing. Manufacturers of undifferentiated mass-produced products using intensive technologies are losing their competitive position. The popularity of small batches of products is growing, which is more acceptable for potential consumers of target market segments. The production and bringing to market of such products requires the coordinated activities of all economic entities united by a common chain of movement of goods. To achieve this, state incentives are needed for the creation and development of cluster-type economic systems, which harmonize the requirements for raw materials and products of its processing, delivery times, prices. Production of craft products can be organized in some agricultural enterprises. The higher cost of such products is offset by higher sales prices. The creation of such systems can be initiated by processing enterprises that invest in the production of raw materials. State support for such structures is more effective than direct state financial support for individual industries.

A method for solving the problem of protein and energy value of rations is presented, which seems to be a key task for workers in animal husbandry and agricultural science. An important place in it is given to legumes and oilseeds. They are widely used in feeding animals in the form of green fodder, natural, crushed seeds and products of their processing (cake, meal, oil, etc.) and, to a limited extent, in the composition of compound feed. A key issue in feed production is the problem of feed protein. The further development of animal husbandry depends on its solution. Protein deficiency in rations is usually up to 30%, and this leads to overconsumption of feed and increases the cost of livestock products by 1.5–2.0 times. The solution to the problem of fodder protein should be carried out mainly at the expense of leguminous crops and their mixtures, legumes. One of the main tasks of fodder production is the introduction of progressive harvesting techniques. Dry feed mixtures with their structure and shape most fully meet the physiological needs of animals due to the increased energy of nutrients and product quality.

The emergence of many agricultural enterprises of different forms of ownership has led to the need for consulting firms. The proposed solution involves the creation of consulting technology in the field of agribusiness on the basis of specialized universities. The paper presents an analysis of the positive aspects of the use of the scientific potential of the agrarian University in providing farmers with consulting services. The perspective directions of development of consultant technologies are revealed. On the basis of the state agrarian University, the system of rendering services is studied, the most actual directions for an agricultural producer are allocated. It is established that consultations on introduction of results of own research and developmental works on plant growing bring the greatest income-26%; animal husbandry-22%; economy and accounting – 25.3% of the total amount of the income. Creation of consulting departments on the basis of agrarian universities through the system analysis providing interrelation between scientists and the agricultural producer is offered. One of the main functions of such departments will be to collect information on the demand of the producer for certain scientific developments and participate in the formation of research strategy at the University.
