The quality of interpersonal relationships between participants in the educational process (class teachers, students, parents) affects the creation of a favourable socio-emotional climate in and out of the classroom, and is also a significant factor of integration or disintegration of the collective, good or bad interpersonal relationships, satisfaction or dissatisfaction, success or failure achieved by students. In general, it always has a positive effect on the development of students' behaviour, and it depends on the conditions under which a class was formed, the way the class is managed, the position that students have in the class, their mutual relations and students' readiness for appropriate cooperation. With this paper, we explored the social distance that the class teacher sets in relation to students and their parents as an important prerequisite for a qualitative, open and productive cooperation among the actors of the educational process. The sample consisted of teachers in the role of class teachers, students and their parents from 36 primary and secondary schools in the Zlatibor district. The results of this research indicate that class teachers in primary and secondary schools generally have a close relationship with students and parents, although a more direct cooperation is achieved by class teachers in primary schools than in secondary ones. This confirms a more intensive educational function of primary school, as opposed to a more dominant educational function of secondary school and thus a more dynamic, complex, open and direct work of class teachers in primary school with students and parents.

Subjects were divided in two groups, the control group and the experiment group. As Agility Testing Methods we used the Compass Drill Test and the Arrowhead Drill Test; both tests are part of “SPARQ” - the acronym for Speed, Power, Agility, Reaction and Quickness. Results: Our results indicate that by using specific agility development exercises, the results of experiment group have increased significantly (p = 0.0000103) compared to control group. In the latter case we used speed exercise only and therefore the increase of results was insignificant (p = 0.17).

In the context of the Covid-19 pandemic, the educational process has undergone significant transformations. Teachers, students, lessons, additional materials, homework, school guidance and discussions displayed new ways of expression, while applications commonly used for communication became working tools. Specialists in the field of education were encouraged to identify the most appropriate scenarios for the specifics of the school and the local context, so that the training and development of students’ competences be continuous, both in accordance with specific school curricula and new ways of organizing the teaching process. The debates about the digitization of education are accentuated by the major structural problems that the Romanian educational system is facing. In many rural schools, especially, the digitization remains a difficult goal to achieve. As the Ministry of Education has recently acknowledged, more than 250,000 students today do not have access to the infrastructure needed for education during the pandemic. Without proactive measures to balance the situation, education during the pandemic is currently discriminating, instead of being an integrative solution. The present study offers a model for conducting online education in a rural school: Secondary School no. 1 in Valu lui Traian, Constanþa County. Through this, we want to show the benefits of online education, but also its limits determined, especially, by the absence of collaboration and direct communication between teachers, students and parents in a space suitable for the educational process: namely the school and the class of students.

<p class="R-AbstractKeywords">Evolution of secondary school course on Informatics during 1990s is discussed. This evolution gave for secondary school graduates rather high level knowledge of applications usage. On the other hand Informatics became purely pragmatic matter within generally academic nature of secondary school curricula. As the result graduates of secondary schools are not prepared enough for mastering of university’s course in Computer Science. Authors are not aware of serious studies and methods of prevention of such negative habits caused by evolution of Informatics course. In this article one method applied in university’s introduction course of Computer Science is considered. The method provides use of algorithmic system closed to the human mind, and to some extent compensates topics removed from the Informatics course in secondary school.</p>

The problem of the quality of distance learning — or e-learning — has not had much importance attached to it thus far. After all, distance learning is at least 200 years old — if not more — and e-learning is nothing new, either. However, they were a kind of “addition” to the educational process. However, as a result of the current world-wide pandemic, the situation has changed rapidly. From what was in essence an auxiliary form of learning, has suddenly become a basic form. Thus, what has affected both higher education and, above all, secondary, primary and pre-school education is something new. This is due to the suddenness of introducing both methods (techniques) of education, and not because of their technical side. Since this problem has become the subject of a large number of different kinds of statements, and even the first book devoted to this issue has been published — it is worth looking at these issues again and try to present a few more general comments. The main thesis of the article is: the technical help side is basically correct; the problems are: i) preparing teachers for this form of teaching, ii) preparation of full-text databases adapted to secondary school curricula, iii) adaptation (in secondary schools) of e-education programs, e.g. to university syllabuses (with links to specific texts, not entire databases), iv) “Rebuilding” the way of educating teachers so that they learn these technical skills from the university or improve them via additional courses and training.
