The article examines the features of the process of teaching the Russian language in the Mongolian secondary school. The entire educational process is built on the basis of speech topics. At the same time, the importance of taking into account Russian speech etiquette, culture and history of Russia is noted. The author of the article emphasizes that teaching the Russian language includes such important goals as general education, which significantly increases the general culture of schoolchildren.

Статья посвящена 35-летию подписания договора между Леонским и Воронежским государственным университетами. В ней содержатся краткий экскурс в историю подписания договора и современное состояние международного академического сотрудничества двух университетов в области преподавания русского языка. Дается обзор материалов, использовавшихся преподавателями ВГУ при обучении испанских студентов РКИ, а также краткое описание организации учебного процесса по русскому языку в Леонском университете. Особое внимание уделяется описанию апробации в Леонском университете интерактивного учебника для испаноговорящих «Ruso Comunicativo», созданного коллективом Института международного образования ВГУ. The article is dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the signing of the Agreement between Leon University and Voronezh State University. It contains a brief excursion into the history of the signing of the Agreement and the current state of international academic cooperation between the two universities in the field of teaching the Russian language. An overview of the materials used by VSU teachers in teaching Spanish students Russian as a foreign language is given, as well as a brief description of the organization of the educational process in the Russian language at the University of León. Particular attention is paid to the story about the testing at the University of León of the interactive textbook for Spanish-speaking students «Ruso Comunicativo», created by the team of the Institute of International Education of Voronezh State University.

The paper presents a modern pedagogical technology for the critical thinking development, aimed at forming the pupils' ability to analyze facts, phenomena, and processes from the standpoint of logic in their relationship and interdependence. It reveals the specifics of critical thinking development technology, provides a description of the methodology for critical thinking development using the example of teaching the Russian language at high school: the stages of the educational process (challenge, comprehension, reflection), techniques and methods of this technology, examples of their application and advantages of use. In course of the study, the authors conclude that the critical thinking development technology is implemented through the interactive inclusion of students in the educational space through a specific organization of the educational process based on three main stages and a system of teaching methods that consistently implement the tasks at each stage. The critical thinking development technology activates the pupils’ mental and speech activity and contributes to their active involvement in the educational and cognitive process. The study is based on the methods of observation, analysis, synthesis, description, comparison, and generalization.

The paper discusses one of the most important issues for educational process organization while teaching Biology at secondary school educational and methodological support and its main component a course book. The authors prove the urgency of this problem as school teachers face a great choice of Biology course books. The paper also contains a brief overview how the notion course book developed in Russia. The authors have given a modern interpretation of the notion course book taking into account the Federal State Educational Standards of General Education. Particular attention is paid to considering the structure of the course book. The specificity of a Biology course book for secondary schools is characterized. The authors have also revealed some variability of Biology course books for 57 grades of secondary schools in modern conditions when there are two federal lists of school textbooks. The reasons for the existing difficulties in the choice of a Biology course book by school Biology teachers are revealed. Particular attention is paid to the criteria for a comparative analysis of the content of Biology course books for secondary schools. The authors have also revealed a degree of completeness of Biology courses with various components for grades 57. The presented materials can be used by school teachers while teaching a Biology course at a secondary school.

This article considers the history of teaching foreign languages in the conditions of Karakalpakstan, chronologically covering the period from the end of the XIX to the end of the XX centuries. Teaching arabic, then opening Russian-native schools and introducing the Russian language into the program, forming a new education system and teaching German, English and French in schools in Karakalpakstan - here is a list of issues that are addressed in this material. The author tries to carry out a comparative analysis of methods of teaching foreign languages of the pre-Soviet and Soviet periods. This issue is actualized by the fact that during the period when Uzbekistan achieved national independence, this issue has become an urgent task of the educational process. The topicality of the stated topic is due to the lack of nationally oriented Russian language textbooks in Croatia. Russian-Croatian relations from the XVIII century to the present day are briefly reviewed in the article and attention is paid to the history of Russian language learning in Croatia. The paper touches upon the topic of intercultural communication, which is particularly important for the organization of educational process, in which the teacher of Russian as a foreign language must take into account the national and cultural students’ characteristics. A survey among teachers of Russian as a foreign language and language school students in Croatia was conducted by the authors of this article in order to substantiate prerequisites for creating a nationally oriented Russian language textbook. Russian language teachers’ methodical preferences, aims of studying Russian language and possible factors which can increase students’ motivation are shown; most often difficulties linked to mastering the Russian language are revealed, the same as teachers’ and students’ recommendations regarding a creation of nationally oriented Russian language textbook for elementary level.

Архивные материалы, привлеченные к исследованию, раскрывают организацию учебного и воспитательного процесса, содержание учебных планов, недельное распределение уроков, численный и сословный состав обучающихся, административный и педагогический состав, правила проведения вступительных и экзаменационных испытаний и т.д. в женских учебных заведениях. Приводятся данные по распределению численности средних женских учебных заведений в Тверской губернии, количественному составу учениц, учебным предметам, срокам обучения в школе П.П. Максимовича, Постоянных педагогических курсах, Тверской Мариинской женской гимназии. Подчеркивается роль женских средних школ для подготовки учительских кадров в Тверской губернии. Автор делает вывод о значительном потенциале развития всесословной женской средней школы в российской провинции. The article examines the history of the formation of various types of women's educational institutions in Tver in the second half of the XIX - early XX centuries. The archival materials involved in the study reveal the organization of the educational process, the content of the curriculum, the weekly distribution of lessons, the number and class composition of students, administrative and pedagogical staff, the rules for conducting entrance and examination tests, etc.in women's educational institutions. Data on the distribution of the number of secondary female educational institutions in the Tver province, the number of female students, academic subjects, terms of study at the P.P. Maksimovich school, Permanent pedagogical courses in Tver and Tver Mariinsky girls ' gymnasium are presented. The role of women's secondary schools for training teachers in the Tver province is emphasized. The author concludes that there is a significant potential for the development of an all-female secondary school in the Russian province.

The article reviews the history of establishing Moscow University and the first decade of its performance in the context of considering the European experience and the role of visiting foreign professors. Attention is drawn to the use of the experience of European universities in the projected management system of Moscow University and ensuring its autonomy by M.V. Lomonosov. The authors show the role of the I.I. Shuvalov, the favorite of Empress Elizabeth Petrovna, in implementation of the project of Moscow University, and analyze the developed hierarchy of the university’s governing bodies, the structure of administrative positions, and the system of privileges granted by the government. The dominant role of visiting professors in establishing and functioning of the university’s faculties is revealed in detail, as well as the conditions created for their work in Moscow, and the personal role of each of the invited professors in the educational process during the first years of Moscow University. The authors reveal the conflicts between Russian and foreign professors and show their inevitability at the stage of establishing Moscow University, drawing attention to the transition of the educational process to the Russian language as the teaching language during the first years of the reign of Catherine the Great, Empress of Russia.

The article establishes the need for special work to improve the grammatical structure of the speech of senior schoolchildren and the correction of grammatical errors in their assignments. Based on the analysis of the results of the State Final Exam of graduates, the errors identified in their essays and the works of leading methodologists, the author develops approaches to working on morphological and syntactic norms in the Russian language lessons in senior secondary school.
