In tandem with internet development and widespread social media use, e-health communities have begun to emerge in recent years. These communities allow doctors to access forums anywhere, anytime, seek or exchange medical information online, find literature, and so on. This is convenient and can solve some problems for doctors while also promoting doctor communication. This study collected and collated 102 doctors in the “Lilac Forum” and used social network tools to quantify the overall network density, centrality, core–periphery structure, and structural hole indicators of doctors’ information exchange from a social-capital perspective. The results showed that the frequency of interaction between doctors differed because of differences in the identities and participation of doctors in the e-health community. The density of the doctors’ information dissemination network (0.228) and network cohesion (0.610) were relatively high. Thus, the doctors were more closely connected, and information was easily spread. At the same time, doctors with higher professional titles had obvious location characteristics, familiarity and trust, and high levels of reciprocity. They could obtain redundant information in the network and were more likely to influence the behavior of other doctors. This study’s findings provide support for improving information exchange among doctors in e-health communities and improving the service levels of the platforms.

This article seeks to explain the key variables of internal communication processes of information technology executives, specifically chief information officers (CIOs), at higher education institutions. By understanding the key variables that influence the IT communication process, leaders and administrators, such as the CIO, can better communicate with their stakeholders leading to a successful, technology-integrated organization. While others have sought to model this business-IT relationship using communication as one part of a model, this study focuses upon only the CIO communication process adding value to current information technology management literature. This exploratory pilot article offers empirical insights about how CIOs communicate within their own team and up through the executive ranks of an organization. It suggests that CIOs can be divided into two categories; these two categories, keying off of communication variables, appear to directly affect the ultimate success or failure regarding the integration of technology into the mission and vision of the organization.

Abstract  Couples of different religions are prone to conflicts related to issues, especially regarding beliefs. In interfaith marriages, the inner bond that exists between a man and a woman but of different religions gives rise to state and religious administrative obstacles as well as other non-administrative obstacles. The purpose of this study was to determine the communication process in building relationships between interfaith couples. This study uses interpersonal communication theory and social penetration theory. This research using qualitative descriptive methods and interviews to collect data. The data obtained is the result of in-depth interviews with 2 sources who have become husband and wife of different religions. The research process from data reduction, data presentation, then analyzed to draw conclusions. The results of this study explain that through the process intimate relations. Interpersonal communication processes that are intertwined become a means to build better and harmonious relationships. The process is influenced by the memory of each partner. In building relationships through interpersonal communication there are factors that influence relationships, such as two-way communication, openness, comfort, trust, and supportiveness is a way of maintaining relationships  Keywords: Communication Process; Different religion; Interpersonal Communication; Interfaith Couples  Abstrak Penelitian ini membahas tentang proses komunikasi dalam membangun relasi pasangan beda agama. Abstract Nowadays, due to the benefits of technological development and the spread of the Internet, various threats have started to be recognized. Still, the awareness of society, especially politicians and state administration in this area is insufficient. This is also evidenced by the fact that initially this topic was not discussed at all in the scientific and even popular literature. The author of the article poses a question: is there, then, an effective method of defense against cyber threats, since their effects can be so disturbing? According to the author, the key to cyber security is the awareness of users of the digital communication process, both at the administrative and social levels.

Connected and automated vehicles (CAVs) as a part of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) are projected to revolutionise the transportation industry, primarily by allowing real-time and seamless information exchange of vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) and vehicle-to-infrastructure (V2I). However, these connectivity and automation are expected to offer vast numbers of benefits, new challenges in terms of safety, security and privacy also emerge. CAVs continue to rely heavily on their sensor readings, the input obtained from other vehicles and the road side units to inspect roadways. Consequently, anomalous reading of sensors triggered by malicious cyber attacks may lead to fatal consequences. Hence, like all other safety-critical applications, in CAVs also, reliable and secure information dissemination is of utmost importance. As a result, real time detection of anomaly along with identifying the source is a pre-requisite for mass deployment of CAVs. Motivated by this safety concerns in CAVs, we develop an efficient anomaly detection method through the combination of Bayesian deep learning (BDL) with discrete wavelet transform (DWT) to improve the safety and security in CAVs. In particular, DWT is used to smooth sensor reading of a CAV and then feed the data to a BDL module for analysis of the detection and identification of anomalous sensor behavior/data points caused by either malicious cyber attacks or faulty vehicle sensors. Our numerical experiments show that the proposed method demonstrates significant improvement in detection anomalies in terms of accuracy, sensitivity, precision, and F1-score evaluation metrics. For these metrics, the proposed method shows an average performance gain of 7.95%, 9%, 8.77% and 7.33%, respectively when compared with Convolutional Neural Network (CNN-1D), and when compared with BDL, the corresponding numbers are 5%, 7.9%, 7.54% and 4.1% respectively.

In this millennium, global organizations will increasingly focus on the critical value of the cross-cultural communication process, efficiency, competence and the cost of doing business. In order to successfully communicate cross-culturally, knowledge and understanding of cultural factors such as values, attitudes, beliefs and behaviors should be acquired. Because culture is a powerful force that strongly influences communication behavior, culture and communication are inseparably linked. The objective of this chapter is to define the framework for a cross-cultural communication process, efficiency, and cost of doing business in a global economy. This task is very important for the promoting of global peace through trade, since it aims at understanding how to communicate successfully among different cultures from different civilizations. This understanding should minimize conflicts, increase international trade and investment, and facilitate the development of the global economy. The research method is based on the architectural design of a cross-cultural communication process and system and their quantitative analysis. Their attributes are estimated in a normative way on a scale from 1 to 5, where 5 is the best value. The attributes for two selected cultures (Western-West and Egyptian) are estimated by expert opinions.

The paradigm ‘Cognition and Communication’ has served as a methodological basis for interdisciplinary studies carried out within the framework of Franco-Russian research projects in the field of psychology. The importance of investigating human cognition and activity in relationship with communication processes has been taken as a starting-point for these studies. This 25-year collaboration has made possible the development of new perspectives (e.g. the perceived quality approach) and research methods (e.g. techniques of free verbalization analysis) as well as their application in field studies. This collaboration has also resulted in a fruitful exchange of theoretical approaches among French and Russian researchers. The studies carried out in the field of cognition and communication have involved a number of disciplines: general, experimental and social psychology, ergonomics and education. This article presents a synthesis of a number of results obtained within the framework of Franco-Russian projects as well as various perspectives for future collaboration.

Although companies are increasingly using integrative communication processes to develop and improve market information dissemination, research in marketing has typically conceptualised and measured dissemination in terms of the use and frequency of information-sharing activities. In view of this asynchrony between theory and practice, this research explores the above neglected domain of market information dissemination, proposing a new construct that we call ‘integrated market-related internal communication’ (IMIC), which encompasses the integrative communication processes implemented by firms aimed at enhancing employees' market information processing. After conceptualising IMIC as a fourdimensional construct, we developed and validated a measurement instrument for assessing this emergent concept. In particular, the proposed dimensions were confirmed as reflective factors of the higher order-construct IMIC, and nomological validity was assessed by demonstrating the positive influence of IMIC on both employees' capacity to assimilate market information and shared interpretation of this information.
