Database appeared and began to develop in line with the needs of processing and data storage to meet the information needs. Database is part of an important building block in an information system. In addition to a relational database (SQL), which stores structured datas in tables with defined schemes, there is a non-relational databases (NoSQL) with a dynamic scheme or unstructured. This study will compare the performance between NoSQL database (MongoDB) and SQL database (MySQL) for a web-based multimedia file storage application that stores files as BLOBs. Performance comparison is based on the speed of execution and the computer resources usage (CPU, memory, and virtual memory).

The new technology of database has moved forward the relational databases. Now, the massive and unstructured data encourage experts to create a new type of database without using query. One of this technology is called NoSQL (Not Only SQL). One of the developing RDBMS that using this technique is MongoDB, which already supporting data storage technology that is no longer need for structured tables and rigid-typed of data. The schema was made flexible to handle the changes of data. The MongoDB data collecting characteristics in the form of arrays is considered suitable for the implementation of boarding house searching where each of the boarding houses have their own scenario structures. MongoDB also supports several programming language, including PHP with Bootstrap material as interface. The results of the research showed that there are alot of difference in implementing a NoSQL database with the regular relational one. NoSQL databases considered alot more complicated in structure, data type, even the CRUD system. The results also showed that in order to view an array inside another array will need two processes.

With the advent of the Internet Web 2.0 era, storage devices used to store website data are developing at an ever-increasing high-growth rate and a diversified trend. The focus on the structured data storage model has reduced the responsiveness of traditional relational databases to data changes. NoSQL database is scalable, has a powerful and flexible data model and a large amount of data, and has an increasing application potential in the memory field. Heterogeneous networks are composed of third-party computers, network equipment, and systems. Network types are usually used for other protocols to support other functions and applications. The research on heterogeneous networks can be traced back to the BARWAN project that started in 1995 at the University of California, Berkeley. The project leader RHKatz merged multiple types of nested networks for the first time to form heterogeneous network requirements for various future terminal services. Construction engineering refers to an engineering entity formed by installing pipelines and equipment that support the construction of various houses and ancillary facilities. “House construction” refers to projects with roofs, beams, columns, walls, and foundations that can form internal spaces to meet people’s needs in production, living, learning, and public activities. Among them, the engineering evaluation index is a statistical index used to evaluate and compare the quality and effects of social and economic activities through the use of equipment, such as capital turnover rate and employee labor efficiency. It is the exchange of corporate performance evaluation content and the expression of corporate performance evaluation content.

A Web portal aggregates an array of information for a target audience and affords a variety of services including search engines, directories, news, e-mail, and chat rooms, and they have evolved to provide a customized gateway to Web information. Also, a high level of personalization and customization has been possible. The portal concept could further be established to function as a classy Web interface that can serves as sustenance for variety of the task performance. The aggregate information Web portal will serve as portals for the information needs of users on the web. The Web based portal enable marketing of users broadly across a wide variety of interests. Most of the popular usage of the Web based aggregate information portal probably refers to the visual and user interface (UI) design of a Web site. It is a crucial aspect since the visitor is often more impressed with looks of website and easy to use rather than about the technologies and techniques that are used behind the scenes, or the operating system that runs on the web server. In other words, it just does not matter what technologies that is involved in creating, when the site is hard to use and easy to forget. This paper explores the factors that must be painstaking during the design and development of a Web based aggregate information portal. Design as a word in the context of a Web application can mean many things. A working Web based aggregate information portal, kaseremulticoncept was developed to support the various users’ task performances. A number of technologies was studied and implemented in this research, which includes multi-tier architecture, server and client side scripting techniques and technologies such as PHP programming languages and relational databases such as MySQL, Structured Query language (SQL) and XAMPP Server.

The public service administration system at the government offices of the Kemiri village office in the Kemiri District currently does not have a computerized and integrated system. Because the system runs, residents who submit letters for administrative completeness, still use the Ms.Word / Ms.Excel application. of course has many weaknesses including human error, not neat in file storage, resulting in the lengthy process of searching and making a cover letter and required reports. The analytical method used in this study is to use PIECES (Performance, Informance, Economy, Control, Efficiency, Service) analysis, the design of the model uses UML (Unified Modeling Language). The results of this study are web-based letter information systems at the Office of the Village Chief of Kemiri that can accessed using a local computer browser. Thus the information letter needed by the Kemiri Village community and more effective and efficient in making the letter.

Abstract Background Advance care planning (ACP) enables persons to identify preferences for future treatment and care, and to discuss, record and review these preferences. However, the uptake of ACP among patients with chronic diseases is relatively low. Web-based ACP programs can support patients and their relatives in ACP. However, information needs of patients and their relatives for ACP are unknown. The aim of this study is to explore information needs of patients with chronic disease and their relatives for web-based ACP. Methods We conducted semi-structured interviews with patients with chronic diseases and relatives at their home or at the study center. In three cases, the patient and relative were paired since they preferred to be interviewed together. We asked about information they would search for when to start with ACP, where they would search for information, what search terms they would use on the Internet, and what content and information they would consider important on an ACP website. The interviewer asked participants to clarify their responses during the interview. We used thematic analysis to analyze the interviewees’ responses. Results We interviewed nine patients with different chronic diseases including amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), multiple sclerosis (MS), chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) and kidney diseases, and seven relatives, namely partners or (adult) children. The interviewees were aged 24 to 80 years, nine were female and seven were male. Both patients with a chronic disease and relatives mentioned comparable information needs. Many interviewees indicated they would use the Internet to search for information about ACP. Mentioned search terms were “advance care planning”, “treatment plan”, “disease trajectory” and names of patient associations. Information needs concerned their disease trajectory and quality of life, medical treatment decisions, practical support in arranging care, the concept of ACP and guidance in ACP, communication of treatment and care preferences, peer support of others with chronic diseases, and information for relatives. Many appreciated encouragement of their healthcare providers to take a pro-active role in ACP. Conclusions We conclude that information needs for ACP included guidance in ACP, support in making decisions about medical treatment, and practical support in arranging care. We recommend adapting web-based ACP information to the information needs of patients and their relatives to increase its findability, uptake and usefulness.

The goal of this study was to create the Local Area Network Based Archiving System, a cross-platform development system for electronic information storage, security, preservation, and retention. The system incorporates capabilities such as data storage for long-term preservation and retrieval, file searching and retrieval, security features such as user account information system and account access privilege levels, and an email-like messaging system. The researchers developed the Local Area Network Based Archiving System using the Agile Software Development Methodology to keep up with the stakeholders' ever-changing needs. After each iteration of the work cycle, this methodology employs a process of frequent feedback. Features are added or refined in each iteration to ensure that the study meets its goals and expectations. The developed system received an overall average weighted mean of 4.53 in the evaluation summary, which is considered excellent. The strongest point of the system, according to the respondents' responses, was its content, which received the highest average mean among the five major categories in the system evaluation. The system's mobile responsiveness was a huge plus, as it considerably aided accessibility. The system should also be deployed, according to the respondents, because it will provide a powerful answer to the ongoing challenges with storing, managing, securing, and retrieving electronic files. As a result, the researchers concluded that a Local Area Network Based Archiving System is required for the efficient operation of an electronic  file storage system. Having centralized electronic file storage and retrieval system not only saves time and money in the long run but also allows for disaster recovery and business continuity.

This paper investigates the problem of distributed storage of electronic documents (both metadata and files) in decentralized blockchain-based b2b systems (DApps). The need to reduce the cost of implementing such systems and the insufficient elaboration of the issue of storing big data in DLT are considered. An approach for building such systems is proposed, which allows optimizing the size of the required storage (by using Erasure coding) and simultaneously providing secure data storage in geographically distributed systems of a company, or within a consortium of companies. The novelty of this solution is that we are the first who combine enterprise DLT with distributed file storage, in which the availability of files is controlled. The results of our experiment demonstrate that the speed of the described DApp is comparable to known b2c torrent projects, and subsequently justify the choice of Hyperledger Fabric and Ethereum Enterprise for its use. Obtained test results show that public blockchain networks are not suitable for creating such a b2b system. The proposed system solves the main challenges of distributed data storage by grouping data into clusters and managing them with a load balancer, while preventing data tempering using a blockchain network. The considered DApps storage methodology easily scales horizontally in terms of distributed file storage and can be deployed on cloud computing technologies, while minimizing the required storage space. We compare this approach with known methods of file storage in distributed systems, including central storage, torrents, IPFS, and Storj. The reliability of this approach is calculated and the result is compared to traditional solutions based on full backup.
