Continuous delivery is an industry software development approach that aims to reduce the delivery time of software and increase the quality assurance within a short development cycle. The fast delivery and improved quality require continuous testing of the developed software service. Testing services are complicated and costly and postponed to the end of development due to unavailability of the requisite services. Therefore, an empirical approach that has been utilised to overcome these challenges is to automate software testing by virtualising the requisite services’ behaviour for the system being tested. Service virtualisation involves analysing the behaviour of software services to uncover their external behaviour in order to generate a light-weight executable model of the requisite services. There are different research areas which can be used to create such a virtual model of services from network interactions or service execution logs, including message format extraction, inferring control model, data model and multi-service dependencies. This paper reviews the state-of-the-art of how these areas have been used in automating the service virtualisation to make available the required environment for testing software. This paper provides a review of the relevant research within these four fields by carrying out a structured study on about 80 research works. These studies were then categorised according to their functional context as, extracting the message format, control model, data model and multi-service dependencies that can be employed to automate the service virtualisation activity. Based on our knowledge, this is the first structural review paper in service virtualisation fields.

<p><strong>Abstract.</strong> In this paper, we present a dataset of medieval monasteries and convents on the territory of today’s France and discuss the workflow of its integration. Spatial historical data are usually dispersed and stored in various forms &amp;ndash; encyclopedias and catalogues, websites, online databases, and printed maps. In order to cope with this heterogeneity and proceed to computational analysis, we have devised a method that includes the creation of a data model, data mining from sources, data transformation, geocoding, editing, and conflicts solving.</p><p> The resulting dataset is probably the most comprehensive collection of records on medieval monasteries within the borders of today’s France. It can be used for understanding the spatial patterns of medieval Christian monasticism and the implantation of the official Church infrastructure, as well as the relation between this official infrastructure and phenomena covered in other datasets. We open this dataset, as well as scripts for mining, to the public (https://github.com/adammertel/dissinet.monasteries) and provide a map tool to visualize, filter, and download the records (http://hde.geogr.muni.cz/monasteries).</p>

This paper proposes a new identity, and its underlying meta-data, model. The approach enables secure spanning of identity meta-data across many boundaries such as health-care, financial and educational institutions, including all others that store and process sensitive personal data. It introduces the new concepts of Compound Personal Record (CPR) and Compound Identifiable Data (CID) ontology, which aim to move toward own your own data model. The CID model ensures authenticity of identity meta-data; high availability via unified Cloud-hosted XML data structure; and privacy through encryption, obfuscation and anonymity applied to Ontology-based XML distributed content. Additionally CID via XML ontologies is enabled for identity federation. The paper also suggests that access over sensitive data should be strictly governed through an access control model with granular policy enforcement on the service side. This includes the involvement of relevant access control model entities, which are enabled to authorize an ad-hoc break-glass data access, which should give high accountability for data access attempts.

Pulse compression technology is one of the key technologies in the field of modern radar signal processing, can effectively solve the contradiction between action distance and resolution. In this paper, a radar digital pulse compression system is designed and implemented based on FPGA with linear frequency modulated signal. The digital pulse compression module is designed using FFT IP core which can be reused in different periods of DPC, respectively performing FFT and IFFT calculation, so that the hardware consumption is saved significantly. Therefore, compared with other systems, the system designed in this paper has the characters of fast processing speed, high degree of modularity, real-time processing and short development cycle.

The article introduced the basic structure and the realization principle of direct digital frequency synthesizer (DDS), and analyzed main properties of DDS system, compared the different ways to achieve frequency synthesis to determine the design scheme in this paper. In addition to the realization of general waveform, the output of the system can realize any hand-painted waveform, improve the shortcomings of the current function generator, and also has the advantages of low cost, low power consumption, short development cycle, flexible design, has the very good practical value and broad application prospect.

With the constant development of numerical control technology, the development cycle and efficiency of CNC (computer numerical control) system is restricted with NC code compiler insufficient in Rapid Development and efficiency. In order to solve this problem, a compiler developed with Lex&Yacc for CNC system based on PC is put forward. This compiler is consisted of a lexical analysis module, a syntax analysis module and an object-storage module. With designed in modules, parameter-driven programming and assisted by Lex&Yacc which is an efficient language for compiler development, this compiler has great advantages such as high efficiency and short development cycle, which mean realistic significance to engineering application. The main principal and design process of every module was expatiated and at last a test of compiling a NC file was executed successfully, which verified the validity of this proposed method.

Urbanization has created some of the world's greatest development challenges. At the same time, cities present an opportunity to tackle these challenges comprehensively. For this, an integrated urban development approach is needed. The Water-Energy-Food (WEF) Nexus approach offers cities an integrated urban planning framework to devise sustainability pathways. However, so far there exist no comprehensive guidelines to aid municipal government decision-making on how to apply the Nexus approach in an urban context. This paper highlights the origins of the WEF Nexus approach within the integrated urban planning discourse. It explains the method to introduce Nexus with special emphasis on Nexus training supporting the implementation of the Nexus approach. The “Urban Nexus Development Cycle” as part of the Nexus training, guiding urban practitioners to overcome “silo thinking” is the innovative element as well as the pro-active involvement of universities in the Nexus process.

In an era of rapid global change, our ability to understand and predict Earth's natural systems is lagging behind our ability to monitor and measure changes in the biosphere. Bottlenecks in our ability to process information have reduced our capacity to fully exploit the growing volume and variety of data. Here, we take a critical look at the information infrastructure that connects modeling and measurement efforts, and propose a roadmap that accelerates production of new knowledge. We propose that community cyberinfrastructure tools can help mend the divisions between empirical research and modeling, and accelerate the pace of discovery. A new era of data-model integration requires investment in accessible, scalable, transparent tools that integrate the expertise of the whole community, not just a clique of &lsquo;modelers&rsquo;. This roadmap focuses on five key opportunities for community tools: the underlying backbone to community cyberinfrastructure; data ingest; calibration of models to data; model-data benchmarking; and data assimilation and ecological forecasting. This community-driven approach is key to meeting the pressing needs of science and society in the 21st century.
