With the rapid development of economy, the scale of the logistics industry is also expanding rapidly, which brings great convenience to economy and trade, and becomes one of the pillar industries of national economy. However, with the development of economy and logistics, the problem of ecological environment is becoming more and more prominent. Through the design of economic development, logistics development, and the ecological environment index system, the economic development, logistics development and eco-environment development level of 30 provinces and cities in China from 2008 to 2017 are analyzed by using the entropy method and coupling coordination degree model, and the spatial characteristics of regional economic development, logistics development, and ecological environment are analyzed by using ArcGIS software. The results show that the coupling coordination of economic development, logistics development and ecological environment in most provinces and cities in China is at the mediate coupling level, and only Shanghai, Anhui, and Fujian in the Eastern region have reached the high-quality coupling level; there are significant temporal and spatial differences in the coupling and coordinated development between economic development, logistics development and ecological environment. The level of coupling coordination in the western region has always been at a low level, while the level of coupling coordination in most of the central and eastern regions is relatively high. There are situations where the level of coupling coordination is not high; the coordinated growth of economic development, logistics development, and ecological environment is mainly driven by economic development and logistics development. However, the level of ecological environment has been lagging behind the level of economic and logistics development. In the future development, it is necessary to give full play to the role of the logistics industry in economic development, weigh the relationship between the development of the logistics industry and ecological environmental protection, actively develop green logistics, and the level of coordinated development among economic development, logistics development and ecological environment.

Firstly, this article uses the Entropy method to calculate the weights of economic development and ecological environment indicators in the eastern urban agglomeration of Qinghai Province from 2005 to 2019. Secondly, this article uses the calculated weights and linear weighting functions to construct evaluation models for economic development and ecological environment development, respectively. The results show that the comprehensive development level of the economic development in the eastern urban agglomeration of Qinghai Province cities is gradually rising, and the comprehensive development level of the ecological environment fluctuates slightly but the overall development trend is increasing. Then, using the Environmental-Economic Coordination degree evaluation model, quantitative analysis and evaluation of the Environmental-Economic system coordination degree, it is found that the coordinated development of the economic and ecological environment of the eastern urban agglomeration in Qinghai Province is relatively well. Finally, it analysis and proposes countermeasures and suggestions to promote the coordinated development of the economic and environmental system of the eastern urban agglomeration in Qinghai Province.

This article is devoted to study the coordination coupling relationship between economic development and ecological environment in tropical and subtropical regions of Asia to reflect the spatiotemporal heterogeneity of the coordination in different regions. Using the entropy method and Geographically and Temporally Weighted Regression model, we empirically analyze 14 tropical and subtropical countries in Asia from 2003 to 2016. The empirical results show that most of the tropical and subtropical sample countries in Asia are at an intermediate coordination coupling level between economic development and ecological environment; the economic development lag type is the main one, and the ecological development lag type is less. At the same time, the positive effects between economic development and ecological environment in most sample countries are more obvious. Spatially, the ecological environment in the north of the Asian tropical and subtropical countries has a positive effect on economic development rather than that in the south and tends to be positive. The positive effect of economic development on ecological environment in the faster economic development areas is better than that in the slower economic development areas, and more areas tend to play negative effects. The research in this article provides a basis for strengthening ecological environment protection in tropical and subtropical regions of Asia, promoting the coordinated development of economic and ecological environment. Further, we put forward some corresponding policy recommendations.

It is of great value to provide sufficient food and energy, meanwhile ensure the sustainable use of resources and the good maintenance of ecological environment under the pressure of rapid population growth and rapid economic development. Therefore, a dynamic global network model of the global ecosystem is built in this paper. Seven elements are taken into consideration and regarded as the macro nodes. These nodes are connected by directed edges, representing the correlated relationships. Symbiosis theory is used to analyze the network model. The results show that the model can effectively measure the related internal coordination degree of subsystems.

Abstract The coordinated development of land and water resources and the ecological environment is essential to regional sustainable development. In view of the current rapid development of information science, the coordination degree of eco-environmental systems has been evaluated from the perspective of development rate. Taking the major grain-producing areas in China as an example, this study used information entropy to determine the weights of various indicators and introduced the average annual growth rate to characterize the development rates of indicators. Through an improved dynamic coupling and coordination model, the coupling and coordination indices of the system and subsystems of land and water resources with the ecological environment were obtained. These indices were analyzed and compared with those generated from raw data. The results showed that during the study period, the land and water resources and the ecological-environmental system had a relatively low coupling, with reluctant coordination, and had a relatively low level of coordinated development. Compared with the results based on raw data, the development rate method yielded similar results on the coupling of subsystems. For the analysis of trends, the method using development rate characteristics better reflected the overall coupling of the system, as well as the coordination of the system when considering the range of relative changes. Therefore, evaluation results based on development rate characteristics can, to a certain degree, better help decision-makers timely understand the coordinated development of the land and water resources and the ecological-environmental system.

This paper based on the coordinated development mechanism of transportation and regional economy, and constructed and calculated the coupling coordinated model of transportation and economic development with the data of 31 provinces. The results are in the following: First, the construction of transport infrastructure is overall better, but the regional difference is quite big, the eastern region is better and mid-western regions are backwardness; Second, from the coordinated degree of transport and economic development, the eastern region is obviously advantage over the mid-western regions.

A low-carbon economy reach is a win-win configuration of a kind of economy that zoology and economy coordinate development. This paper researches on the low carbon economy development based on the view of the logistics industry, therefore the paper discusses two respects: first, interaction mechanisms between the logistics and ecological environment; second, feedback relationship between the logistics and the economic development. However, the traditional logistics can only make economic development, but not be able to achieve environmental protection. Finally, it comes to the necessity of the development of the low-carbon logistics, in addition puts forward the methods and measures for the low-carbon logistics.

The purpose of this study is to determine the role of the logistics industry in the sustainable economic development in the context of Southeast Asian countries. This study is quantitative in nature where the data are gathered from the secondary sources. The analysis is carried out with the help of correlation, feasible generalized least square model (FGLS). The outcome of this study confirms the significant impact of LPI on GDP growth, CO2 emission and current health expenditure. Similarly, the significant impact of FDI is found on all the dependent variables of this study. In contrast, the variable of TOP is found to have a significant impact on both CO2 emission and current health expenditure, whereas it makes an insignificant impact on GDP growth. The absence of qualitative data is one of the major limitations of this study. Apart from that, the limited scope of this research on Southeast Asian countries is another limitation.

This paper estimated and evaluated the spatial–temporal evolution of the concentration of healthcare resources (HCRs), in 31 provinces in China between 2004 and 2017, by using the entropy method. The spatial Durbin model (SDM) was used to further analyze the mechanisms behind the spatial driving forces at the national and regional levels. The findings revealed that: (i) The concentration of HCRs differed significantly among eastern, central, and western regions. The eastern, followed by the central region, had the highest concentration. Going east to west, the concentration of HCRs in the first echelon decreased, while it increased in the second and third echelons; (ii) places with higher concentrations clustered, while those with lower concentrations agglomerated; and (iii) economic development, population size, and urbanization promoted concentration. Education facilitated HCR concentration in the eastern and central regions, income stimulated HCR concentration in the eastern and western regions, and fiscal expenditure on healthcare promoted HCR concentration in the eastern region. Economic development inhibited HCR concentration in neighboring regions, population size restrained HCR concentration in neighboring areas in the western region, urbanization and income curbed HCR concentration in neighboring areas in the eastern and western regions, and fiscal expenditure on healthcare hindered HCR concentration in neighboring areas in the eastern region. Policy recommendations were proposed toward optimizing allocation of healthcare resources, increasing support for healthcare and education, and accelerating urbanization.
