Volunteer tourism is a vital formation of altruistic and sustainable tourism. This research is aimed to empirically find the relative importance of the motivation factors and the motivation realization factors for young tourists participating in the global volunteer tourism programs. The differences in the study variables across continents, gender, and frequency of participation were also scrutinized. A quantitative research approach that utilized the survey method was employed. The outcomes showed that personal development was the most vital motivator for global volunteer tourism. On the other hand, the young tourists felt that they most realized the factor of a new experience through their recent international volunteer tourism experience. The motivation factors and the motivation realization factors were consistent across the continents. Furthermore, the mean differences in the motivations, the motivations’ realization, satisfaction, and the behavioral intentions were revealed to be non-significant for the genders and the frequency of volunteer participation. By grasping the young volunteer tourists’ motivations and the experience evaluations, the volunteer programs can be advanced in consonance with their necessities and demands, which enhance the volunteer tourism experience.

This study aims to provide an overview of multicultural approaches to the pedagogic competence of teachers PAI MTs Negeri pascasertifikasi as Palembang City. This research is a quantitative research used is explanatory survey method (explanatory survey method). The sample of 17 teachers of PAI consists of 9 teachers PAI M.Ts Negeri 1 and 8 teachers PAI M.Ts Negeri 2. Techniques of collecting data using tests, questionnaires, documentation. Validity and reliability. Data analysis techniques using descriptive analysis, bivariate analysis, The results showed pedagogical competence of teachers PAI (52.2%), included in the category of being. including high categories of 5 people (29.4%), and low category amounted to 12 people (70.6%). Hypothesis test concluded There is a significant influence of motivation factors on the pedagogic competence of teachers PAI MTs Negeri as Palembang City. Chi Square statistical test results obtained p value = 0.768, while the value of Odds Ratio (OR) obtained by 1,000 with the level of confidence interval 0.903 - 14.153.

Abstrak Bahasa IndonesiaPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh film animasi Upin Ipin dalam menguatkan karakter gotong royong siswa kelas V. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan ialah kuantitatif dengan metode Survei. Alat pengumpulan data penelitian ini adalah angket dan foto dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif, uji asumsi klasik, analisis regresi sederhana, dan koefisien determinasi. Setelah melalukan perhitungan diperoleh nilai koefisien determinasi (R2) ialah 0,005 yang berarti bahwa pengaruh film animasi Upin Ipin dalam menguatkan karakter gotong royong siswa kelas V MI Miftahul Falah hanya 0,5%. Hasil uji t-hitung t-tabel (0,487 2,021). Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa film animasi Upin Ipin tidak mempunyai pengaruh yang signifikan dalam menguatkan karakter gotong royong siswa kelas V MI miftahul Falah. Abstract in EnglishThis study aims to determine all the major influences of the animated film Upin Ipin in strengthening the character of mutual cooperation among class V students. The quantitative research approach used was the survey method. Collecting data using questionnaires and photo documentation. The data analysis used descriptive analysis, classical assumption test, simple regression analysis, and the coefficient of determination. After calculating the coefficient of determination (R2) is 0.005, which means that the effect of the animated film Upin Ipin in strengthening the character of mutual cooperation among class V students of MI Miftahul Falah is only 0.5%. The result of t-count t-table (0.487 2.021). It can be shown that the animated film Upin Ipin does not have a significant effect in strengthening the character of mutual cooperation among class V MI miftahul Falah students.

The Malaysian construction industry is responsible for producing a huge amount of structural reinforcement bar wastes which has a major impact on the environment, the society and economy. Thus, the minimization of reinforcement bar waste has become a persuasive issue in the construction industry. This paper investigates the causes of the rebar waste generation from different construction projects in Selangor, Malaysia as to determine later what are the construction waste minimization (CWM) tools and techniques currently available for the construction industry. A quantitative research approach was adopted using a survey method utilizing questionnaires. Descriptive analysis was employed to process the data for this study. Thus, this paper, explores the potential application of BIM to design out rebar waste. An in-depth literature review was conducted to provide a foundation for the study to evaluate if the use of BIM will assist as a possible platform for the reinforcement of waste minimization.

This study investigates the factors influencing the intention to invest in Sukuk towards infrastructural development in Nigeria. The study used a quantitative research approach and obtained data through survey method and online questionnaires. Data were obtained in Abuja, the capital of Nigeria, from 163 investors and potential investors in Sukuk. The result revealed that attitude, subjective norms, perceived behavioral control, and religiosity have a positive significant relationship with intention to invest in Sukuk. In addition, the finding of the study revealed that the amount of information has a negative significant relationship with intention to invest in Sukuk. Therefore, the result of this study may help Sukuk issuers in identifying the factors that influence the intention to invest in Sukuk among the potential investors. This study contributes to the Islamic financial institutions by confirming the factors that may influence the intention of Nigerian to invest in Sukuk for infrastructural development.

Assessment and measurement of performance in academic libraries are well established. However, in developing countries such as Brazil, this has not been fully explored. This study aims to contribute to the knowledge by investigating practices of measuring library performance in Brazilian public academic libraries and analyzing their relationship with managerial processes. It employs a survey method with a descriptive-explanatory objective and follows a quantitative research approach. Data was gathered from 149 libraries. Results indicate that performance measurement system at academic libraries in Brazil lack systematic methods. However, libraries with implemented performance management systems have better management practices, reflecting in their library management maturity.

This research was aimed to determine the effect of quality management, organizational culture, and professionalism against the lecturer’s caring. The quantitative research approach using a survey method and technique of path analysis. The population was the lecturer of Bina Nusantara University and 166 lecturers were taken as samples and selected using stratified random sampling.  The result of data analysis showed that quality management, organizational culture, and professionalism have a direct positive effect on the lecturer’s caring. Quality management and organizational culture, have a direct positive effect on the professionalism and quality management, has a direct positive effect on the organizational culture. Therefore, to improve lecturer’s caring of Bina Nusantara University, the quality management, organizational culture, and professionalism should be improved.   Keywords: Quality management, organizational culture, professionalism, and lecturer’s                      caring.

Product innovation is very important to do, especially in running a business. A person who is innovative is usually closer to a new opportunity and is close to a success. Unfortunately, innovation is still very minimal done by entrepreneurs. It is proved by the persistence of the product leather jacket with classic models till this time and the lack of growth of the entrepreneurs in Central Industrial Leather Jacket Sukaregang. This study aims to know the influence of product innovation to business success in SMEs leather jacket Sukaregang industrial centers in Garut. In this research, product innovation is the variable (X) and the success of the business is a variable (Y). This research study was quantitative research with the research method used is the descriptive method and survey method. By type and method of the study, data analysis used is descriptive analysis, a classic assumption test, regression test, correlation and hypothesis testing. This study is using a non-probability quota sampling technique to determine the sample. The member sample in this study were 100 respondents who are entrepreneurs in SMEs leather jacket Sukaregang industrial centers in Garut. Results of simple linear regression, obtained by the equation Y = Y = 14.482 + 0.476 X with R-Square of 0.475. It shows that product innovation variable effect of 47.5% against the successive efforts, while the success of the business by 52.5% influenced by other factors such as quality of human resources, technology competencies, Organizational structure, business culture Culture, Strengths capital, business networks with outsiders. As for external factors such as government (economic policy, political, level of democratization) and non-government (economic system socio-cultural culture, infrastructure conditions and the level of public education) which is not described in this study. Therefore, it can be seen that there is significant product innovation to business success in SMEs leather jacket Sukaregang industrial centers in Garut.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh stress kerja terhadap kinerja karyawan, pengaruh organizational citizenship behavior, terhadap kinerja karyawan, pengaruh komitmen organisasi terhadap kinerja karyawan dan pengaruh stress kerja, organizational citizenship behavior, dan komitmen organisasi terhadap kinerja karyawan PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk.  Unit Corn Drier Sidrap. Desain penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode survey. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini 83 orang. Penelitian ini menggunakan teknik analisis kuantitatif yang dianalisis dengan bantuan software SPSS 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa stress kerja berpengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk.  Unit  Corn  Drier Sidrap. Hal ini dapat dilihat nilai koefeisien stres kerja sebesar -0,022 dengan tingkat signifikan  0,330.  Organizational Citizenship Behavior berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk.  Unit  Corn  Drier Sidrap. Hal ini dapat dilihat nilai koefeisien Organizational Citizenship Behavior sebesar 0,186 dengan tingkat signifikan 0,000.   Komitmen organisasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk. Unit Corn Drier Sidrap. Hal ini dapat dilihat nilai koefeisien komitmen organisasi  sebesar 0,801 dengan tingkat signifikan 0,000. The research design used is a quantitative research approach using survey method. The number of samples in this study was 83 people. This research uses quantitative analysis techniques that are analyzed with the help of SPSS 25 software. The conclusions from the results of this study are 1. Work Stress has a negative and not significant effect on the performance of the employees of PT JapfaComfeed Indonesia Tbk. Unit Corn Drier Sidrap. It can be seen that the coefficient of work stress is -0.022 with a significant level of 0.330; 2. Organizational Citizenship Behavior has a positive and significant effect on the performance of the employees of PT JapfaComfeed Indonesia Tbk. Unit Corn Drier Sidrap. This can be seen from the Organizational Citizenship Behavior coefficient value of 0.186 with a significant level of 0,000; 3. Organizational commitment has a positive and significant effect on the performance of the employees of PT JapfaComfeed Indonesia Tbk. Unit Corn Drier Sidrap. It can be seen that the coefficient value of organizational commitment is 0.801 with a significant level of 0.000; 4. Job Structure, Organizational Citizenship Behavior and Organizational Commitment have a positive and significant effect on the Employee Performance of PT JapfaComfeed Indonesia. This can be seen from the results of the simultaneous calculation of the calculated F value of 297,112 with a significant level of 0,000.

The primary focus of this study is to examine the psychological perception of individuals towards Covid-19 in Kano metropolitan City of Nigeria, and how it affects their income level. This analysis uses a descriptive quantitative research approach and, as per Sutton, a descriptive analysis produces both primary and secondary data. It was further emphasized that descriptive analysis uses experimental observation to assess and identify what has been observed. In this study, we further use the proportional sampling technique. We conducted the survey in the seven-metropolitan city of Kano State, Nigeria, given their diverse socio-economic status. The estimated total number of populations is 3,999,000. Using the Krejcie-Morgan table, 384 sample size was suggested, however, there was a provision for the unexpected, as such we distributed 400 questionnaires. The findings showed that there were 91.2% respondents who did not perceive Covid-19 pandemic as something to be psychologically worried about. Likewise, 91.1 percent of the respondents have answered not really anxious or feel not comfortable about the issue of Covid-19 pandemic, and lastly, 91.2 percent of the respondents answered not depressed about the situation in any way.

Background: Online security is a growing concern and user authentication through passwords remains an important mechanism to protect online assets. Research to date has highlighted the need to address human behaviour but without an indication of where the emphasis of security education, training and awareness (SETA) initiatives should be, beyond improved password practices. Objectives: The aim of this study was to, through analysis of the password behaviour of South African online consumers: (1) understand the prevalence of poor password practices among consumers overall and (2) identify specific password deficiencies prevalent among different demographic groups to be focus areas for tailored intervention programmes. Method: The study uses a quantitative research approach. An online survey was used to gather demographic data, perceptions about online security and applied password practices. A sample of 737 valid responses was analysed for this research. Results: Based on the descriptive analysis of the responses three key observations were made. Firstly, there is a distinct difference in the incidence of poor password practices for all respondents and thus support for tailored interventions. Secondly, there are variances between the practices within different demographic groups that could be used for customisation of interventions. Finally, the different poor practices cannot be uniquely attributed to one particular set of demographics. Conclusion: The study concluded that to improve computer password security in South Africa, password SETA programmes should be customised for areas where individual needs exist and not merely per password practice or demographic group.
