To study physico-chemical, phytochemical and high performance thin layer chromatography of a Siddha drug “Kadukkai Legiyam” (KL). The prepared Kadukkai Legiyam (KL) was prepared as per the standard operating procedures mentioned in literature. Then the drug was subjected to physicochemical parameters, phytochemical screening, thin layer chromatographic photo documentation (TLC), high performance thin layer chromatographic (HPTLC) finger print profile of hexane, chloroform, ethanol and hydro alcohol (1:1) extracts.  Different extracts of the drug showed distinct TLC and HPTLC finger print patterns which will be unique to this drug. This study giving information about physiochemical and phytochemical analysis and HPTLC fingerprint profile of different extracts, the integration spectrum which will useful in standardizing the raw drugs and future comparison studies.

<p>Research Problem: Rural librarians and library volunteers may be viewed as isolated and almost on the geographical fringes of the knowledge information profession. In New Zealand, rural librarians’ stories have not been heard and continue to be underrepresented. Therefore, in this report I have sought to answer the question: “What are the experiences of Otago and Southland rural librarians and library volunteers?” Methodology: I used an arts-based approach that utilised both textual and visual narrative methodologies. I recruited four rural Southland & Otago librarians and two rural Southland & Otago library volunteers through both previously established networks including closed community Facebook pages, and the LIANZA Otago/Southland committee representative. Results: The findings in this report are presented as stories. They explore the everyday experience of Zoe Heriot, The Volunteers, Alicia Hull, & Barbara Gordon (not their real names). Woven throughout are a series of collages representing the photo documentation of rural Southland and Otago libraries. These findings are then viewed through the key themes of connections, collections, and conditions. Implications: The methodology of narrative inquiry could have a big impact on LIS scholarship as the telling of stories have provided new understandings of the role that rural librarians and library volunteers play in their communities. Their stories can become vehicles of change. The evolution of librarians and volunteers can be seen through the promotion of inclusion and valuing diversity within rural communities including what may be perceived as sensitive topics like mental health and the LGBTQI+ community. This is critical if rural librarians and volunteers are to cater to their changing and evolving communities. Ultimately, the stories of librarians and library volunteers highlight the way the institutions of libraries are experienced by those who work in them.</p>

Abstract The submitted paper deals with the issue of change in structure, hardness and thermally affected zone of the samples of a toothed wheel part produced by technology of cutting by plasma, laser and water jet. The cutting process by laser and plasma technology causes intensive thermal affection of material and change in structure and microhardness in the cutting area referred to as thermally affected zone. The paper describes three material cutting technologies of the toothed wheel part. The experimental part contains description of experimental sample preparation, its hardness measurement and examination of structure along with further evaluation through graphs and photo documentation of structures.

Abstract Background The technical competence of oesophagogastroduodenoscopy (OGD) is rapidly acquired but to support the practice of complete examination, the British Society of Gastroenterology (BSG) and Association of Gastrointestinal Surgeons of Great Britain and Ireland (AUGIS) strongly recommend photo-documentation of 8 standardized set stations in an OGD. Photo-documentation ensures complete examination, opportunity to inspect area of interest and serves as a legal record of adequate procedure. Methods Retrospective single center study involving review of randomly selected 100 OGD reports from 1/1/2018 till 31/3/2020 from the Endorad system. The reports on online Endorad system were reviewed for photo-documentation of 8 set stations and was also used to collect data on age, sex and the endoscopist. Microsoft Excel was used for data entry and analysis. Results Out of the 100 OGDs reviewed, 58% were males and 42% females. The mean age being 62.7 +/- 13.5. 60% of OGDs were done by surgeons, 25% by gastroenterologist and 15% by Advanced Nurse Practioner. No report had photo-documentation of all 8 stations. Most (40%) had photos of 5 stations, most common was photo evidence at retroflexion (95%) followed by photographic evidence of intubation to D2 (84%). Conclusions OGD is the gold standard test for the investigation of upper gastrointestinal symptoms, the importance lies in the early detection of cancers which maybe amenable to endoscopic treatment. For this reason its important to adhere to guidelines to improve quality in OGD

The Village Fund Allocation (ADD) is a fund sourced from the central and regional balance funds. The allocation of village funds is divided into 2 allocations, namely 30% for government administration and 70% for community empowerment. Evaluation of the management of village fund allocations is very necessary especially at the planning, implementation, administration, reporting, accountability stages because these funds are directly related to the community and to avoid of fraud. This research aims to determine the evaluation of the management of village fund allocations (ADD) in the covid-19 pandemic era in the village of Bakalan, Tambakrejo district, Regency of Bojonegoro (Planning, implementation, administration, reporting, and accountability stages). To achieve these objectives, qualitative research methods are used. Data are collected by using interview and documentation using qualitative analysis techniques with an interactive model from Miles and Huberman. The results show that the management of village fund allocations at the planning, implementation, administration, reporting, and accountability stages, have followed the technical guidelines contained in the legislation and have applied the three main principles underlying regional financial management. However, at the reporting stage it is still not quite good because photo documentation evidence has not been attached and it is less effective for transparency in delivery information to the public. Keywords: Village Fund Allocation Management, Covid-19 Pandemic.
