RESUMEN El propósito de este artículo es presentar los resultados de la investigación sobre la aplicación de las técnicas participativas para potenciar el proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje del Inglés en los estudiantes de la Universidad Técnica de Manabí para determinar la contribución de las técnicas participativas en dicho proceso a través de la identificación de las técnicas adecuadas utilizadas por el docente con base a las necesidades requeridas para obtener un aprendizaje significativo en los estudiantes, de las cuales las más relevantes son las técnicas participativas para la fase de consolidación y las de comunicación. La metodología manejada en la investigación se basó en la aplicación de una encuesta a los estudiantes del quinto nivel de diferentes carreras de la Universidad Técnica de Manabí, la cual incluyó siete preguntas cerradas y la aplicación de una entrevista a los docentes quienes imparten la asignatura de Inglés. Los resultados obtenidos de estos instrumentos facilitaron la obtención de la información para el desarrollo de este estudio. Los resultados que se obtuvieron en la investigación determinaron que la aplicación de las técnicas participativas es importante porque son un instrumento de interacción entre docentes y estudiantes durante el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje con el propósito de adquirir y asimilar eficientemente los conocimientos impartidos. The aim of the study was  to  analyze  and  describe  the  process of  improving students’ listening skill for eleventh grade students of MAN 1 Majene, West Sulawesi Province through  watching English movies. The subject of this research is XI Agama 2 Class that consisted of 16 students. The method used in this study is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which the writer works  collaboratively with the English teacher. The results in this study indicate that there  was  improvement of the students’ skill listening. Most of the students gradually gained good scores at the end of the cycle. The data were collected from a questionnaire, observation note of performance, pre-test and post-test. The study was conducted with cycle model through the steps of planning, conducting, observation, and reflection. The results of this study show a significant relationship between students' learning by English movie with delay subtitle related to their listening skills as shown in their improvement of post- test and positive responses of students than  E nglish movie  with not delay. The questionnaire shows that more than 75% students felt easy to understand listening materials from native speakers. Consequently, it was suggested that teaching learning process using English movie with English subtitle is recommended  into  learning  process  to  improve students' listening skills in English language classroom. In conclusion, watching English movie can improve students listening skill.

El artículo trata la problemática de los sistemas contables en la Unidad Educativa Juan Montalvo, la cual tuvo como objetivo principal establecer la importancia pedagógica de los sistemas contables en los estudiantes de la unidad educativa Juan Montalvo del cantón Portoviejo, durante el año 2019 y analizar la manera en que éstas influyen en el proceso de aprendizaje de los educandos. Para poder desarrollar la investigación se aplicó la investigación bibliográfica, incluida la investigación de campo, se obtuvieron datos a través de la aplicación de encuestas realizada a los estudiantes de la institución. Basándome en toda la información se llegó a la conclusión que el uso adecuado de los sistemas contables por parte de los docentes beneficia al proceso de enseñanza aprendizaje de los estudiantes, siempre y cuando el educando esté predispuesto a innovar y enriquecer sus conocimientos. Además, hay que resaltar la importante labor del docente ya que es un factor clave en el proceso de aprendizaje de los estudiantes. Es importante destacar que los resultados obtenidos en la encuesta realizada a docentes y estudiantes permitieron estructurar las conclusiones. La investigación se abordó de acuerdo con las técnicas empleadas las cuales fueron la observación, la encuesta aplicada a los estudiantes y docentes de la institución. Finalmente, para resolver la problemática se realizó una propuesta que contribuyó a dar solución a la problemática. PALABRAS CLAVE: Sistemas contables; contabilidad; procesos pedagógicos. Pedagogical use of accounting systems in the Juan Montalvo Educational Unit   ABSTRACT The present problem deals with the accounting systems in the Juan Montalvo Educational Unit, which had as main objective to establish the pedagogical importance of the accounting systems in the students of the Juan Montalvo educational unit of the Portoviejo canton, during the year 2019 and analyze the way in which they influence the learning process of students. To develop the research, bibliographic research was applied, including field research, data were obtained through the application of surveys carried out to the students of the institution. Based on all the information, it was concluded that the proper use of accounting systems by teachers benefits the teaching-learning process of students, if the student is predisposed to innovate and enrich their knowledge. In addition, the important work of the teacher must be highlighted since it is a key factor in the learning process of students. It is important to emphasize that the results obtained in the survey of teachers and students allowed structuring the conclusions and recommendations. The research was approached according to the techniques used which were the observation, the survey applied to the students and teachers of the institution. In the field of English Language Teaching there have been contentions and counter contentions about the role of various methods, approaches and techniques in learning the language. Throughout the hundreds of years, these strategies and methodologies have been fundamentally all through support in educational programs. Methodology is one of the significant components to actualize the objective of education in showing in teaching learning process especially in English classes. To give the data about wonderful strategies is the primary reason for this logical composition. Since English has been instructed till these days, in this manner, this paper is to improve the information of educational specialists particularly in technique for teaching English. The strategies are explained plainly as far as the standards are concerned. The standards are normal for showing learning process, nature of guidance, taking care of the students' sentiments and feelings, the job of local language of students, the language abilities that are accentuated, and the method for instructor's reaction to students' mistakes.

Resumo Práticas que visem a um ensino-aprendizagem mais dinâmico e significativo têm sido foco de interesse de pesquisas dentro da área de educação. Fazer com que os estudantes sejam mais participativos no processo de aprendizagem e ajudá-los a ter autonomia na busca por informações têm sido um desafio para os educadores. A teoria da Aprendizagem Significativa, proposta por Ausubel (1963), explica que novos conhecimentos são incorporados e melhor aprendidos quando relacionados a conhecimentos prévios já compreendidos pelo sujeito. Na educação, essa metodologia permite ressignificar e reorganizar ideias, criando novas conexões cognitivas. Dessa forma, o presente trabalho tem como objetivo apresentar uma prática de ensino-aprendizagem baseada na teoria da Aprendizagem Significativa por meio da elaboração de livretos de contos infantis. Uma turma do 1º ano do Ensino Médio foi escolhida para participar da prática que teve como ponto de partida a elaboração de Mapas Conceituais (organizadores prévios) e aplicação de um pré-questionário. Os estudantes foram orientados sobre onde e como fazer uma busca por informações pela internet, uma vez que esse meio de pesquisa é tão usado e importante, porém pouco explorado em sala de aula. A construção do livreto de contos sobre um tópico de Ciências da Natureza foi o produto final do trabalho. Após a atividade, foi realizada a aplicação de um pós-questionário para tornar viável uma análise mais adequada das possíveis aprendizagens dos estudantes. A comparação dos questionários e análise dos materiais produzidos mostraram ideias mais ricas, claras e interrelacionadas, corroborando a hipótese do estudo. O trabalho evidenciou uma ligação entre o múltiplo espaço da internet e a produção física de material (livreto), que se mostrou eficiente para a compreensão e síntese de conteúdos ligados as Ciências da Natureza. Palavras-chave: Ausubel; ensino-aprendizagem; livreto; mapas conceituais; metodologia.       Abstract Science for minors: writing children's booklets as a practice for Meaningful Learning in Science Education Practices that aimed more dynamic and meaningful teaching-learning have been the focus of interest within the area of Education. Making students participatory in the learning process and helping them to have autonomy in the search for information has been a challenge for educators. The Theory of Meaningful Learning, proposed by Ausubel, brings that new knowledge are incorporated and better learned when related to previous knowledge already understood by the subject. In education, this methodology makes it possible to reframe and reorganize ideas, creating new cognitive connections. Thus, the present work aims to present a teaching-learning practice based on the Theory of Meaningful Learning through the development of children's booklet. A class from the 1st year of high school was chosen to participate in the practice that started with the elaboration of Concept Maps (previous organizers) and application of a Pre-questionnaire. The students were instructed on where and how to search for information on the internet, since this means of research is so used and important, but little worked in the classroom. The construction of the booklet of short stories on a topic in Natural Sciences was the final product of the work. After the activity, a Post-questionnaire was applied to make a more adequate analysis of the students' learnings. This study evidenced a connection between the multiple space on the internet and the physical production of material (booklet), which proved to be efficient for the understanding and synthesis of contents related to the Natural Sciences. The comparison of the questionnaires and analysis of the materials produced showed richer, clearer and more interrelated ideas, corroborating the study's hypothesis. Keywords: Ausubel; booklet; concept maps; methodology; teaching-learning.   Resumen Ciencia para menores: elaboración de cuentos para niños como práctica para un aprendizaje significativo en la enseñanza de las ciencias Las prácticas dirigidas a una enseñanza y un aprendizaje más dinámicos y significativos han sido el foco de interés dentro del área de la educación. Hacer que los estudiantes sean participativos en el proceso de aprendizaje y ayudarlos a tener autonomía en la búsqueda de información ha sido un desafío para los educadores. La teoría del Aprendizaje Significativo, propuesta por Ausubel, trae consigo que se incorporen nuevos conocimientos y se aprendan mejor cuando se relacionan con conocimientos previos ya entendidos por el individuo. En educación, esta metodología permite afinar y reorganizar ideas, creando nuevas conexiones cognitivas. Así, el presente trabajo tiene como objetivo presentar una práctica de enseñanza-aprendizaje basada en la teoría del Aprendizaje Significativo a través de la elaboración de libros de cuentos infantiles. Se eligió una clase de 1º año de secundaria para participar de la práctica que se inició con la elaboración de Mapas Conceptuales (organizadores anteriores) y aplicación de un Pre-cuestionario. Se instruyó a los estudiantes sobre dónde y cómo buscar información en Internet, ya que este medio de investigación es tan utilizado e importante, pero poco trabajado en el aula. La construcción del libro de cuentos sobre un tema de Ciencias Naturales fue el producto final del trabajo. Tras la actividad, se aplicó un Post-cuestionario para viabilizar un análisis más adecuado del posible aprendizaje de los estudiantes. Este estudio evidenció una conexión entre el espacio múltiple en internet y la producción física de material (cuadernillo), que resultó ser eficiente para la comprensión y síntesis de contenidos relacionados con las Ciencias Naturales. La comparación de los cuestionarios y el análisis de los materiales producidos arrojaron ideas más ricas, claras e interrelacionadas, corroborando la hipótesis del estudio. One of the most important parts to improve the ability to read drawings in learning process is students' learning readiness and teaching-learning interaction on a subject of reading technical drawings, which are often overlooked by school. This study aims to investigate the influence of students' learning readiness and teaching-learning interaction on achievement in the subject of reading technical drawings. The study shows that there is a correlation between students’ learning readiness and their academic achievement, which is 0,45; the correlation between teaching-learning interactions exists in the level of 0,67; there is a correlation between students’ learning readiness and teaching-learning interactions in the level of 0,34; and there is a correlation of students’ learning readiness and teaching-learning interaction on academic achievement, which is 0,71. The coefficient for the variable of students’ readiness and teaching-learning interaction is significant in the level of significance α = 0.05. Thus, it can be concluded that the students' learning readiness and teaching-learning interactions between teachers and students provide a meaningful/significant impact on the academic achievement in reading technical drawings subject

This article is devoted to the advantage of applying the technology of integrated modular training in English classes, since the development and modernization of higher education in modern conditions has made it the goal of comprehensive formation of professional competence for a future teacher. New priorities in education are prompting teachers to search for new modern effective teaching technologies that enable achieving higher learning and upbringing results, introducing new educational technologies in the educational process. The best practices of the teachers of many educational institutions confirm their desire for an active search and use of pedagogical technologies in working with students. Modern advanced pedagogical technologies include modular learning technology. Modular training is a way of organizing the educational process based on the block-modular presentation of educational information. Modular learning is becoming more and more popular in modern learning, as it uses elements in the context of pedagogy of cooperation, humanizes the learning process and saves time. It seems to us that the organization of training in vocabulary through the module as a unit of educational material will be an additional factor in optimizing the learning process. The technology of modular learning is characterized by the advanced study of theoretical material, enlarged block modules, the algorithmization of educational activities, the completeness and consistency of cognitive cycles and other cycles of activity, level-by-level individualization of educational activities and the creation of a situation of choice for a teacher and students. Based on the results of the study, recommendations were developed for teachers and students on the development of linguistic competence, in particular, on the development of competence to study a foreign language correctly, which is of primary importance for future teachers.

En el Sistema de Educación se incluye la enseñanza de la Lengua Inglesa como parte de la formación integral de los estudiantes universitarios. El presente trabajo aborda una problemática actual en el proceso de enseñanza- aprendizaje de la Lengua Inglesa referido a la insuficiente motivación en los estudiantes universitarios hacia el aprendizaje de este idioma, tema de vital importancia para el desarrollo de hábitos y habilidades que permitirán adquirir una mejor competencia comunicativa. Se emplearon métodos del nivel teórico, empírico, y estadísticos. Se propone como objetivo implementar un sistema de actividades para favorecer la motivación en los estudiantes. Posee gran utilidad para el perfeccionamiento del proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje de la Lengua Inglesa, en particular para el desarrollo de la motivación en los estudiantes de segundo nivel de la carrera Tecnologías de la Información en la Facultad de Ciencias Técnicas en la Universidad Estatal del Sur de Manabí.   Las Matemáticas en el preuniversitario cubano exigen de los estudiantes la capacidad de enfrentar y resolver problemas, y que los mismos sean pertinentes y respondan a las necesidades sociales (Aprender a Hacer, Aprender a Ser, Aprender a Convivir, y Aprender a Aprender). Esto sin duda alguna, implica desarrollar la creatividad desde la escuela, ya que la apropiación del conocimiento puede resultar inútil si no se sabe emplear este para crecer como persona y hacer frente a los problemas de hoy y del futuro con eficacia y creatividad. Este trabajo tiene como objetivo estimular el desarrollo de la creatividad, en particular la flexibilidad del pensamiento, de los estudiantes del preuniversitario. El estudio epistemológico permitió revelar limitaciones teórico-metodológicas en presupuestos teóricos que sustentan el objeto de estudio y proponer ideas tendentes a la superación de esas limitaciones. Se parte del análisis de los fundamentos teóricos de la creatividad y de los diferentes enfoques para su estudio. Se realiza una caracterización del concepto creatividad y se determinan las regularidades del mismo en un ambiente sociocultural del proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje de las Matemáticas en la Educación Preuniversitaria Cubana. El enfoque de aprendizaje que se fundamenta teóricamente toma como referente práctico el proceso de aprendizaje de las Matemáticas en el IPUEC “Ismael Ricondo Fernándezˮ, en el municipio Sagua de Tánamo de la provincia de Holguín.   Palabras clave: estimulación, creatividad, potencialidades creadoras, enfoque creativo, enseñanza aprendizaje.   Abstract   Mathematics in Cuban Senior High School require students with capacity to face and solve problems, and they should be relevant and should respond to social needs (learning how to do), (learning to be), (How to Live Together), and (How to Learn). This certainly means developing creativity from school, because the appropriation of knowledge can be useless, if you do not know how to use it in order to grow up as a person and to deal with today and future problems, effectively and creatively. This paper is aimed to stimulate the development of creativity, particularly the flexibility of thought from pre-university students. This epistemological study allowed revealing theoretical and methodological limitations in theoretical assumptions that support the subject of study, and proposing ideas aimed to overcome these limitations. Starting from the analysis of the theoretical foundations of creativity and different approaches for their study, a characterization of the concept of creativity is made and its regularities are determined within a socio-cultural environment in the teaching-learning process of Mathematics in Cuban High School Education. The learning approach theoretically supported, takes as a practical referent the learning process of mathematics in the IPUEC "Ricondo Ismael Fernandez", in the municipality of Sagua de Tánamo Holguin.   Key words: stimulation, creativity, creative potential, creative approach, teaching and learning.

This study investigates the use of humor in teaching English in an English course in Indonesia. It aimed to find out the kinds of humor employed by the teacher and to explore the students’ perspectives toward it. This study employed a qualitative research design and focused on one English course in Makassar, Indonesia. One teacher and one class consisting of seven students were taken as respondents. Data collections relied on observation and interview. Five meetings of classroom interaction were observed and recorded. Seven students from the class were also interviewed deeply. The recordings were transcribed and analyzed based on the framework of Wanzer & Frymier (1999). Findings show that there are some kinds of humor that were employed by the teacher in teaching, namely related humor, unrelated humor, self-disparaging humor, and unplanned humor. New kinds of humor were also found namely unresponded humor and remind humor. Those kinds of humor were proved to give benefits in English language teaching process. The teacher who employed humor in teaching English made the students easy to get the knowledge. Teacher’s humor reduced tension, made the students more comfortable in the teaching-learning process, created good interactions, led to more enthusiastic teaching-learning process, encouraged students’ attendance, and reduced the number of students who felt sleepy in the class. Findings from this study provide significant input for teachers to create effective interaction between teachers and students in English language teaching in Indonesia.
