Our country’s economy and society continue to develop. With the popularization of national education and the growth of per capita annual income, the people are paying more and more attention to experience situations, and the tourism industry has entered the era of experience economy. In addition, at the end of 2019, my country's population over 65 years old accounted for 11.4%, and the 60-year-old retired group accounted for 18.1% (approximately 253 million people). In fact, it has entered an aging society, and the demand for health tourism has become more intense. Therefore, the citizens' demand for experience and health tourism has become more obvious. How to meet the development needs of health and wellnesstourism under the background of experience economy is an extremely important research topic. The research purpose of this article is to explore the problems of health and wellness tourism experience projects from the perspective of experience marketing, and put forward corresponding suggestions. This study uses the well-known tourist destination in Panxi, China: Qionglu Scenic Area, XichangCity, Sichuan Province, to interview local tourists through in-depth interviews. A total of 20 effective interview samples are obtained and analyzed by content analysis. The results of the analysis show that the respondents’ perception of health and wellnesstourism is mostly to promote health tourism, which roughly conforms to the definition of health and wellness tourism. Secondly, in terms of health and wellness tourism experience activities, respondents prefer catering activities, and focus on mountain and water experience activities. Therefore, this research suggests that destination managers and operators should make good use of local natural resources and cultural characteristics of the Yi ethnic group, focus on developing mountain and water experience projects, highlight ethnic minority dining and cultural characteristics, and meet consumer health and tourism needs.

The composition of new vaccines against Neisseria meningitidis serogroup B is based on differences in the variable regions VR1 and VR2 of the class 1 outer-membrane protein (PorA) of meningococci. Genosubtyping of 96 N. meningitidis B isolates from blood or cerebrospinal fluid from 2000 to 2003 in the north of Spain allowed characterization of all the strains. Twenty-six genosubtypes or distinct PorA types were obtained. The most prevalent were P1.5-1, 10-8 (20 strains), P1.19, 15 (14 strains), P1.22, 9 (11 strains) and P1.5, 2 (nine strains), while 17 genosubtypes were represented by only one or two strains. The wide diversity of genosubtypes observed and their differences compared with those found in other regions reveals the difficulty in designing a useful outer-membrane vesicle vaccine applicable to different regions of the world.

The numerous forms of health tourism are gaining an enhanced presence in world tourism these days and this is also true of some countries' economic success. Health tourism with ongoing development over the past decade has seen a dynamic development, primarily in the area of wellness tourism at both national and international levels. Consequently, the advance of health tourism is given significant importance in developing countries. This form of tourism is considered one of the spheres of great importance to which the population pays attention. Health tourism encourages both the prevention of physical and emotional exhaustion and the treatment of many chronic illnesses. For this reason, for a more productive and healthy vacation, tourists go to resort areas, which are the main component of the medical health tourism. Medical tourism on a global scale is one of the most dynamically developing types of tourism. So, according to the forecast of the World Health Organization Conservation Agency (WHO), by 2022 tourism together with the healthcare sector will become one of the most priority areas for the development of national economies. In this article advantages of health and recreational tourism, the ways of providing this service in different countries, recreational facilities, infrastructure   and resource of Uzbekistan are going to be represented. Besides that, some problems in local recreational tourism with the example of “Zaamin” Sanatorium in Jizzakh region of Uzbekistan based on the personal communication are going to be expended.

Although the Great Basin of North America has produced some of the most robust and ancient fiber artifact assemblages in the world, many were recovered with poor chronological controls. Consequently, this class of artifacts has seldom been effectively incorporated into general discussions of early chronological and cultural patterns. In recent years, the Great Basin Textile Dating Project has accumulated direct AMS dates on textiles (bags, sandals, mats, cordage, and basketry) from dry caves in the Great Basin, particularly in the northern and western areas. We focus here on the terminal Pleistocene/early Holocene, to identify chronological patterns in this class of artifacts and to evaluate Adovasio’s characterization of the region’s earliest basketry as simple and undecorated. New AMS dates now suggest that the region’s earliest people had sophisticated textile traditions that incorporated numerous decorative elaborations. Some distinctive structures, including Fort Rock sandals and weft-faced plaited textiles, have limited early temporal ranges and may serve as diagnostic indicators for terminal Pleistocene/early Holocene times. Other basketry forms and structures that appear by about 9000 cal B.P. persist into the historic period, suggesting a stronger thread of continuity (especially in the north) from this time than is apparent in lithic traditions

During the past decade, health and wellness tourism has become one of the top categories of tourism across the globe. On the other hand, academic deliberations are forged about the classifications and elucidations to differentiate the key terms concomitant with the wellness tourism sector. Arguably, due to the high market competition, the majority of the wellness/wellbeing/health tourism products are closely related and used interchangeably. Therefore, this study attempts to discourse the contemporary trends and developments in Kerala. As the forerunner for Ayurveda tourism and as one of the popular wellness tourist destinations, Kerala persists in the top list. Though, compared to other destinations, there are minimal tourism-oriented researcher studies were conducted. To attend this gap, this chapter explores the wellness sector of Kerala in terms of recent trends and developments. Interestingly, the tourism sector of Kerala observed to be dynamic and innovative by combining various tourism attributes offer a unique experience to the visitors.

Abstract This study deals with the leadership attitudes of local authorities in the North Great Plain region. The study is part of a research project dealing with organisational culture. In order to examine the organisational culture, the GLOBE (Global Leadership and Organisational Behaviour Effectiveness) questionnaire was used, which was also applied in the research programme “Compete the World!” at the Corvinus University in Budapest. Koopman, Den Hartog, Konrad et al. (1999) examined the culture variables of 21 European countries, while Brodbeck et al. examined the values of leadership variables in European clusters. This study deals with the examination of the leadership variables of local authorities. No similar examination of local authorities has ever been presented in the Hungarian and international specialised literature.

Many cities around the world have been largely constructed by their residents, who build not only their own houses, but also frequently their neighborhoods. In this article, I use the notion of peripheral urbanization to analyze this way of producing cities that is quite pervasive in the global south. I argue that peripheral urbanization refers to modes of the production of space that (a) operate with a specific temporality and agency, (b) engage transversally with official logics, (c) generate new modes of politics, and (d) create highly unequal and heterogeneous cities. I also argue that peripheral urbanization not only produces heterogeneity within the city as it unfolds over time, but also varies considerably from one city to another. I build my arguments by juxtaposing dissimilar cases from a few cities in the global south. To focus on peripheral urbanization means simultaneously to de-center urban theory and to offer a bold characterization of modes of the production of space that are different from those that generated the cities of the North Atlantic.

Health and wellness tourism should be particularly valued in the post-pandemic phase, as a stra-tegic product to enhance the population's well-being and quality of life indicators, at social, phys-ical, and environmental dimensions, with different proposals for specialized experiences that complement the destination's offer, positioning regions as health and wellness destinations. Thermal tourism should be encouraged, as a specific product, due to the innovation and diversi-fication observed in the services made available and the benefits recognized at different age levels of tourists and destinations communities. Considering the relevance of thermal springs and thermal tourists for tourism destinations image, positioning, and development, this research aims to identify the specific motivations of tourists to the practice of thermal tourism, to understand how the benefits that thermal tourists search for, and their sociodemographic profile influence the motivations, and how the motivations determine the travel characteristics. This research was de-veloped on the North and Centre of Portugal, for their relevance in the context of thermal springs and related tourism activities. To achieve the research objectives, a questionnaire survey was ap-plied to thermal tourists, through a non-probability by convenience sampling, using bivariate tests, such as Pearson’s chi-squared test, one-way ANOVA, and t-student. The results highlight that most respondents practiced thermal tourism due to leisure and relaxation benefits, such as the escape from daily stress, spend time with family, and being "pampered"; relaxation is the most valued motivation, followed by the search for psychological and physical wellbeing. The research found relations between the benefits expected by thermal tourists, and their travel characteristics such as the composition of the group, the general travel motivation, the thermal destination cho-sen, and the number of nights spent. In thermal tourism, new challenges emerge, demanding the development of strategies, products, and services responding to the needs of specific market segments.
