In Kenya, the number of private schools has increased more than four times since the introduction of the Free Primary Education (FPE) policy in 2003. The number of children attending private primary schools increased from 4.6% in 2004 to 11.5% in 2007. With such increment, there has been challenges on the determinants of growth of education institutions. It is against this background that the study examined the influence of physical planning on the growth of private primary schools in Kenya. the study was anchored in the resource dependency view where the managers of institutions have the ability to acquire, Plan and maintain resources that are important to the growth of an organization. The target population in this study comprised of 7,418 private primary schools in all eight regions of Kenya. Cluster sampling technique was employed of 50% of the target regions were sampled, leading to four out of eight regions being selected. From these regions random sampling was then used to select 320 respondents who were either the principals’/Head teachers or deputy principal of the schools. A questionnaire was used to collect data and Structural Equation Modeling was used to analyse data. The study found a strong and significant correlation between physical planning and growth of primary schools. This study therefore recommended that physical planning was an important factor in determining growth of private schools. The study further recommends that owners of private primary schools should be aware of the facilities that are crucial and most important to students in the teaching and learning. This will intern influence the growth of the private primary schools in Kenya.

This research aims to identify and examine the effect of the Tax Transparency and Trust Taxpayers Against the Taxpayer Compliance existing areas of Jakarta. The method used is descriptive and associative. Target population studied is Unit in Unit 14 Analysis of the Tax Office in the region of Jakarta. Sampling technique used is random sampling. Model influence analyzed using SEM (Structural Equation Modeling ) with alternative method PLS ( Partial Least Square ) which is aimed at testing the Influence between Tax Transparency and Trust Taxpayers Against the Taxpayer Compliance that there diunit analysis has been given permission to conduct research. Results of the analysis showed that partially Tax Transparency and unsignificant positive effect on the Taxpayer Compliance. Similarly, the Trust Taxpayers partially positive and significant impact to the Taxpayer Compliance . Simultaneously Transparency and Trust Tax Taxpayers Against the Taxpayer Compliance effect, this means that the Tax and Trust trades Taxpayers together will increase the Taxpayer Compliance.   Keywords: Tax Transparency, Trust, Taxpayer Compliance.     Penelitan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dan menguji pengaruh Transparansi Pajak dan Kepercayaan Wajib Pajak Terhadap Kepatuhan Wajib Pajak yang ada wilayah DKI Jakarta. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif dan asosiatif. Populasi target yang diteliti ialah Satuan Kerja yang ada di Unit Analisis 14 Kantor Pelayanan Pajak diwilayah DKI Jakarta. Teknik sampel yang digunakan ialah random sampling. Model pengaruh di analisa menggunakan analisis SEM (Structural Equation Modeling) dengan metode alternative PLS (Partial Least Square) yang bertujuan menguji Pengaruh antara Transparansi Pajak dan Kepercayaan Wajib Pajak Terhadap Kepatuhan Wajib Pajak yang ada diunit analisis yang telah diberi ijin untuk melakukan penelitian. Hasil analisis menunjukan bahwa Transparansi Pajak secara parsial berpengaruh positif dan tidak signifikan terhadap Kepatuhan Wajib Pajak. Begitu pula dengan Kepercayaan Wajib Pajak yang secara parsial berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Kepatuhan Wajib Pajak. Secara simultan Transparansi Pajak dan Kepercayaan Wajib Pajak berpengaruh Terhadap Kepatuhan Wajib Pajak, hal ini berarti bahwa dengan Transakasi Pajak dan Kepercayaan Wajib Pajak bersama-sama maka akan meningkatkan Kepatuhan Wajib Pajak.

This research demonstrates the application of Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method in order to obtain the best fit model for a more efficient and accurate inter-relationship among variables findings and interpretation. For the purpose of this study, secondary data of Trends in International Mathematics and Science Study (TIMSS) was used. The questionnaire were distributed by using two stage stratified cluster sampling technique to 5733 eighth grades students in Malaysia. A Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA), Discriminant Validity and Path Analysis had been conducted to obtain the best fit model of SEM. At the end of the study, a best fit model will be obtained for a better accuracy and precision estimation in further analysis.

Along with the development of technology and mass media, Change.org appears in the form of websites that become to a medium for the forming of the public opinion, raising the opinions through campaigns that seeks the support of public opinion raised. This study to confirm how age and education level influencing the form of perceptions and public opinion through Change.org. This research using survey with explanitative approach, a research sampling are 200 people from Change.org users was taken with multistage cluster sampling technique with population at DKI Jakarta area. Data analysis using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The results show that age and education do not affect perception and also public opinion forming. This shows that with internet-based media the acceptance of information becomes more similar and individual differences, especially age and education, are not to be an obstacle in adjusting existing public opinion.Keywords: age, education, change.org, perception, public opinion. Penelitian ini bertujuan mencari apakah usia dan Pendidikan berpengaruh terhadap pembentukan persepsi dan opini publik melalui media Change.org. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian survey yang bersifat eksplanatif, dengan sampel sejumlah 200 orang dari pengguna Change.org dengan pengambilan sample menggunakan teknik cluster sampling bertahap dari populasi di area DKI Jakarta. Analisis data menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). Hasilnya menyatakan bahwa usia dan pendidikan tidak berpengaruh terhadap pembentukan persepsi dan juga opini publik. Hal ini menunjukkan dengan adanya media berbasis internet penerimaan informasi menjadi lebih seragam dan perbedaan individu khususnya usia dan pendidikan tidak menjadi kendala dalam penyesuaian opini publik yang ada.Kata kunci: change.org, opini publik, pendidikan, persepsi, usia


Organizational commitment among employees is important to determine organizational effectiveness as employees with higher organizational commitment have higher motivation to stay with their organization. In recent years, previous studies have shown that the teachers’ organizational commitment are low and moderate. Therefore, this study focuses on the effect of work passion toward organizational commitment with work intention as the mediator. The objectives of this study was to determine the effect of work passion on work intention and organizational commitment among teachers and to determine the role of work intention as a mediator in the effect of work passion on organizational commitment among teachers. This study employed a cross-sectional survey involving 355 school teachers in Malaysia through multi-stage cluster sampling technique. Data were analyzed using descriptive analysis, while confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) and structural equation modeling (SEM) were used to determine the fitness of the model with the data. Findings showed that organizational commitment and work passion among school teachers were moderate, while work intention was at a higher level. SEM analysis showed that the model has a good fit with CMIN/df= 3.22, GFI = 0.95, CFI=0.97, TLI=0.95, RMSEA=0.08. In addition, job factors have a significant direct effect on work intention and organizational commitment. Results also showed that work intention mediated the relationship between work passion and organizational commitment. The results of this imply the importance of work passion and work intention in enhancing organizational commitment among teachers in Malaysia.

Purpose This paper aims to reveal the empirical facts of pressure, rationalization, effect on opportunity and fraud prevention and accountability to fraud prevention in Rumah Sakit Umum Daerah (RSUD; local public hospitals in English) in West Sulawesi Province. Design/methodology/approach This research is explanatory in nature, with a time horizon from January to July 2016. The research objects were selected from local public hospitals (RSUD) in West Sulawesi Province. The population in this study is employees working at regional general hospitals in West Sulawesi Province. While sample is determined based on cluster sampling technique, the analysis tool used is structural equation modeling. Findings The variables of pressure and rationalization are found to have a positive and significant effect on opportunity, so improvements in the variables pressure and rationalization will create improvements in the variable opportunity. Pressure, rationalization and opportunity variables have a positive and significant effect on fraud prevention, so improvements in pressure, rationalization and opportunity variables will create improvements in variable fraud prevention. Accountability variables have a negative and significant effect on fraud prevention, so a high value of accountability will decrease the value of fraud prevention. Originality/value Originality of this paper shows built developing fraud prevention model in regional public hospital in West Sulawesi Province with five variables, namely, pressure, rationalization, opportunity, accountability and fraud prevention.

PurposeThis study aims to investigates customer satisfaction from the use of bank chatbots and the effect of perceived trust in chatbots and banks' reputation on customer satisfaction.Design/methodology/approachA survey is conducted in Turkey involving 240 customers who experienced banking transactions using a chatbot. Partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) is used to investigate the relationships between the variables. The data were analyzed using SPSS 21 and SmartPLS programs.FindingsPerceived performance, perceived trust and corporate reputation significantly affect customer satisfaction with chatbot use. Customer expectations and confirmation of customer expectations have no direct impact on customer satisfaction, but customer expectations positively affect perceived performance. Customer expectations exert an indirect influence on customer satisfaction through perceived performance. Perceived performance has a positive impact on the confirmation of customer expectations, but customer expectations do not significantly impact the confirmation of customer expectations.Research limitations/implicationsThis study relies on a limited number of participants. Moreover, its sample is not representative of the target population due to the convenience sampling technique. Even if the results may not be generalized to the entire population of Turkey, they reflect the reality of emerging markets with relatively high technology sensitivity and a young population.Practical implicationsThe results provide new insights regarding banking service delivery channels, which may be of interest to professionals, academics, banks' top management, product development teams, design teams and customer satisfaction units.Social implicationsThis study is believed to help the community make their lives easier by providing them with knowledge and awareness about chatbots.Originality/valueThis study extends expectations confirmation theory's predictions to chatbot use in banking.

<p><b>Research Paradigm:</b> The approach for this study is based on positivism theory with an intention to obtain evidence through focused observations and identify its likeliness with the actual data collected so that it can be generalized with the findings of other scholars who have worked on the topic (Remenyi et al., 1998). As elaborated by (Gill & Johnson, 2002), the crux of positivism philosophy revolves around the relationship of cause and its effect generated by different constructs, and the best possible exploration of these variables.</p><p><b>Research Design:</b> Primary data would be collected through a structured close-ended questionnaire which use to gather the responses from the stakeholders including teachers, coordinators, and school management and human resource personnel in the private schools. Therefore, the research questionnaire adapted from Dogan (2009) and Asiyai (2016) as a research instrument.</p> <p><b>Sample Size and Sampling technique:</b> The target population for this research study consists of different stakeholders for instance: teachers, coordinators, and school management and HR personnel working in private schools of Karachi -Pakistan. Non-probability purposive sampling is being used for this study. The sample size of 400 different stakeholders from private schools would be adequate to figure out the results (Loehlin, 2004). Since the actual size of the population is not exactly known and neither accessible to conduct random sampling, therefore non probability purposive sampling is chosen. Since the sample consists of different stakeholders for instance: teachers, coordinators, and school management and HR personnel working in private schools of Karachi -Pakistan. Therefore, it is a purposive sampling.</p><p><b>Data Collection Tool:</b> In this study we used the quantitative research to measure the perceived effectiveness of in-service training in improving teacher’s performance with one independent variables: in-service training (Training need assessment and training methodology), one dependent variables teachers performance (Task performance and contextual performance), 03 mediators (professional skills, knowledge enhancement and work engagement) and one moderator (reward). Questionnaire has distributed in the several schools by hand or through email.</p><p><b>Statistical Technique:</b> Since the model consists of multiple variables with mediation and moderation model, therefore the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) is used. The interface terms integrated with the model is measured for statistical significance via bootstrapping method. The structural equation modeling has executed by the partial least square approach.</p><p></p>

Jakarta is the place where the largest number of land transportation in Indonesia, according to Djarot in Kompas.com article, vehicles every day increased about 1500 units. And according to an article from Liputan 6, revenue from conventional taxi drivers dropped dramatically after the entry of online transport by 40-50% during 2016 due to the entry of online transport. Conventional taxi companies must immediately anticipate this phenomenon so that their human resources can survive in the company. The purpose of this research are first, to know is there a positive effect from professionalism factors to organizational commitment and job satisfaction. Second, to know job satisfaction factors have a positive effect to organizational commitment. And the last is to know is there a positive effect from rewards factors to job satisfaction and organizational commitment’s factors. This research uses descriptive method with non-probability method. Through judgmental sampling technique, primary data collection was obtained from questionnaire distribution to conventional taxi driver of Soekarno-Hatta Airport. The data has been collected and then obtained by using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). The result of this research indicates that there is positive influence from professionalism to organizational commitment but the data do not support the hypothesis, there is positive influence from professionalism to job satisfaction, but there’s negative effect between job satisfaction and organizational commitment, there is positive relation of rewards to job satisfaction, Finally there is a positive effect of rewards on organizational commitment. This study aims to determine the influence of organizational ethical culture, professional commitment, and ethical orientation on ethical sensitivity. The sample in this study is BAWASDA in Padang. The sampling technique with convenience sampling method. The total of questionnaire distributed counted 120 and able to be used  105. The study use Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with AMOS application version 16.0 to examine the structural relationship among variables that affect officer sensitivity to ethical situation. The results of this study indicated that: (1) the organizational ethical culture have a significant effect on idealism. (2) the organizational ethical culture have a significant effect on relativism. (3) professional commitment doesn’t significant effect on idealism. (4) professional commitment doesn’t significant effect on relativism. (5) idealism significant effect on ethical sensitivity. (6) relativism significant effect on ethical sensitivity. (7) organization ethical culture significant effect on ethical sensitivity and (8) professional commitment doesn’t significant effect on ethical sensitivity.

Flipped learning empowers learners to take an engaging role in learning while educators assist the learning process. The employment of flipped learning has been confirmed to enhance the teaching and learning of English as a second language in previous studies. This study aimed to explore the application of the unified theory of technology acceptance and use of technology towards ESL lecturers’ intention to use flipped learning. This study used a quantitative research framework where a set of online questionnaires was used in collecting the data. A total of 206 English as a second language lecturers from four different universities participated in this study. The data were analyzed using structural equation modeling. The result of this study indicates that only social influence is significant in predicting English as a second language lecturers’ intention to use the flipped learning approach. Furthermore, this study enriches the literature on 21st century education and the integration of technology in teaching and learning. In addition, this study could help educators and stakeholders in adapting or enhancing the flipped learning approach by distinguishing the distinct predictors of technology acceptance.
