Objective: There is limited literature that discussed the trend of ‘employee voice’. Hence, this bibliometric analysis is aimed to evaluate the global research growth to retrieve and analyze the publication on ‘employee voice’. The bibliometric analysis is used to search the database of Scopus from the oldest publication in 1986 to the recent publication in 2019. The objectives were to evaluate the trend of ‘employee voice’ research, details of co-authorship, leading institutions and countries, top scholars, and leading author keywords. Methodology: This study used VOS Viewer 1.6.11 to analyze and visualize the global research trend on ‘employee voice’ in analyzing the bibliographic data. Bibliometric maps were retrieved from VOS Viewer 1.6.11. Results: This study retrieved 443 journal articles from the Scopus database from 1986 to 2019. The publication’s trend revealed that the number of publications has been increasing steadily since 2005. The leading countries in ‘employee voice’ research are the United Kingdom and the United States. Among the fifteen leading universities, five of them were from the world’s top 150 universities. Among the keywords, ‘voice behavior’ has the most linkage with ‘employee voice’, which indicated that employee voice is active in the business and management field compared to other fields such as nursing and psychology. According to the author keywords analysis, ‘promotive voice’ and ‘prohibitive voice’ were found to become a potential concerned area in the future as they started to receive attention in 2017. Implication: This paper can be beneficial for academicians, organizations, and business policymakers in understanding the global trend of ‘employee voice’ besides discovering the future directions and opportunities for future studies.

The bibliometric analysis is used to search the database of Scopus from the oldest publication in 1988 to the recent publication in 2019. The objectives were to evaluate the output of publications, co-authorship, leading countries and institutions, top authors, and co-occurrences of author keywords. This study used VOS Viewer 1.6.11 to analyse and visualise the global research trend on OCB in analysing the bibliographic data. Bibliometric maps were retrieved from VOS Viewer 1.6.11. This study retrieved 2, 356 journal articles from Scopus database from 1988 to 2019. The publication’s trend revealed that the number of publications has been increasing steadily since 2002. The leading countries in OCB research are the United States and China. Among the fifteen leading universities, five of them were from the world’s top 150 universities. Among the keywords, ‘commitment’ has the most link with OCB, which indicated that OCB is active in the management field compared to other fields such as nursing and psychology. This paper can be beneficial for academicians, organisations, and business policymakers in understanding the global trend of OCB besides discovering the future directions and opportunities for future studies.

This is the first study, to the authors’ knowledge, to evaluate and quantify the progress of charitable giving as there is no research on the global trend of charitable giving. This research aimed to retrieve journal articles related to charitable giving over a 68-year time span and suggest new avenues for future research. This study involved a bibliometric analysis from 1,144 publications related to the theme, registered in the Scopus database from 1951 to the recent publication in 2019. The bibliometric procedures examined the research performance and development within the framework of international impact, while VOS Viewer 1.6.11 visualized the overall research trend of charitable giving. The results indicate that the United States is the country with the most publications related to charitable giving. James, R.N. and List, J.A. are the two leading authors in this field based on the total number of publications. Most of the articles published in this field are found in Non-profit and Voluntary Sector Quarterly, Journal of Public Economics, and Voluntas journals. While Journal of Business Research and Journal of Consumer Research are the top two leading CiteScore journals in charitable giving studies. Among the most recent author keywords are crowdfunding, social media, social status, social preferences, emotion, incentives, agency, and laboratory experiment, which demonstrated the current keen interest associated with charitable giving studies. This paper is beneficial for academicians, organizations, and policymakers in understanding the general picture of the field and enables future scholars to see where the study began and trace its shift over time.

Background. This bibliometric analysis is aimed at reviewing the research pattern on the use of silver diamine fluoride (SDF) in dentistry using various citation metrics. Methods. A well-curated search was conducted on Elsevier’s Scopus database for the relevant literature on SDF published between 1969 and 2021. Bibliographic information such as information related to citations, bibliographic data, abstracts, keywords, and other relevant information was extracted using different combinations of keywords (“silver diamine fluoride” OR “Silver Diamine Fluorides” OR “Diamine Fluoride” OR “Silver Fluoride”). Analysis and visualization of the selected documents and related data were performed using various tools and software including MS Excel, MS Access, Bibexcel, VOS viewer, Biblioshiny, and Gephi. VOS Viewer was utilized for the Graph Modeling Language (GML) to generate graphical representations of the data. Furthermore, network graphs were generated to assess the various associations between research themes, countries, organizations, authors, journals, and citations. Results. The initial search yielded 662 documents, of which 410 were chosen for analysis. 252 records were deemed irrelevant. The chosen records consisted of journal articles ( n = 351 ), conference papers ( n = 14 ), book chapters ( n = 1 ), and review articles ( n = 44 ). The results showed that there was an upward trend in the research on SDF, and a substantial increase was observed in the citation index after 2014. Researchers from the United States of America, Hong Kong, and Japan were the top contributors, with organizations and authors from the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Hong Kong, leading the way in citations and productivity. Conclusion. The bibliometric analysis provides valuable information regarding the total number of publications on SDF and their citation details. It also identifies the leading countries and organizations involved in the research on SDF and provides a comprehensive analysis of the research trends related to SDF.

Background: This study was designed to analyze the global research on Lophomonas spp. using bibliometric techniques. Methods: A bibliometric research was carried out using the Scopus database. The analysis unit was the research articles conducted on Lophomonas spp. Results: Totally, 56 articles about Lophomonas spp. were indexed in the Scopus throughout 1933-2019 ( 87 years ) with the following information: (A) The first article was published in 1933; (B) 21 different countries contributed in studies related to Lophomonas spp.; (C) China ranked first with 16 publications about Lophomonas spp.; and (D) “Brugerolle, G” and “Beams, H.W.” from France and the US participated in 4 articles respectively, as the highest number of publications in the Lophomonas spp. network. Discussion: After 87 years, Lophomonas still remains unknown for many researchers and physicians around the world. Further studies with high quality and international collaboration are urgently needed to determine different epidemiological aspects and the real burden of the mysterious parasite worldwide.

India is ranked fifth in the world in terms of COVID-19 publications accounting for 6.7% of the total. About 60% of the COVID-19 publications in the year 2020 are from United States, China, UK, Italy, and India. We present a bibliometric analysis of the publication trends and citation structure along with the identification of major research clusters. By performing network analysis of authors, citations, institutions, keywords, and countries, we explore semantic associations by applying visualization techniques. Our study shows lead taken by the United States, China, UK, Italy, India in COVID-19 research may be attributed to the high prevalence of COVID-19 cases in those countries witnessing the first outbreak and also due to having access to COVID-19 data, access to labs for experimental trials, immediate funding, and overall support from the govt. agencies. A large number of publications and citations from India are due to co-authored publications with countries like the United States, UK, China, and Saudi Arabia. Findings show health sciences have the highest number of publications and citations, while physical sciences and social sciences and humanities counts were low. A large proportion of publications fall into the open-access category. With India as the focus, by comparing three major pandemics—SARS, MERS, COVID-19—from a bibliometrics perspective, we observe much broader involvement of authors from multiple countries for COVID-19 studies when compared to SARS and MERS. Finally, by applying bibliometric indicators, we see an increasing number of sustainable development-related studies from the COVID-19 domain, particularly concerning the topic of good health and well-being. This study allows for a deeper understanding of how the scholarly community from a populous country like India pursued research in the midst of a major pandemic which resulted in the closure of scientific institutions for an extended time.

BACKGROUND Smartphones have become an integral part of our lives with their unprecedented popularity and diversification of applications. The continuous upgrading of information technology has also enabled smartphones to display great potential in the field of healthcare. OBJECTIVE This study aimed to clarify the future research direction of mHealth by analyzing its research trends and latest research hotspots. METHODS This study collected mHealth-related literature published between 2000 and 2020 from the Web of Science database. Descriptive statistics of the literature were computed using Excel software. The publication trends of mHealth research were determined by analyzing the annual number of publications in the literature and annual number of publications categorized based on different countries. Finally, this study used the VOSviewer tool to construct visualization network maps of country/region collaborations and author keyword co-occurrences, and overlay visualization maps of the average publication year of author keywords to analyze the hotspots and research trends in mHealth research. RESULTS In this study, 12,593 mHealth-related research articles published between 2000 and 2020 were collected. The results showed an exponential growth trend in the number of annual publications in mHealth literature. The United States remained the leading contributor to the literature in this area (5,294/12,593, 42%), well ahead of other countries/regions. Other countries/regions also showed a clear trend of annual increases in the number of publications in mHealth literature. Regarding cooperation between countries, the four countries with the largest number of publications, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia, were found to cooperate more closely. The rest of the countries/regions showed a clear geographical pattern of cooperation. The keyword co-occurrence analysis of the top 100 authors formed five clusters, namely: development of mHealth medical technology and its application in various diseases, use of mHealth technology to improve basic public health and health policy, mHealth self-health testing and management in daily life, adolescent use of mHealth, and mHealth in mental health. The research trends revealed a gradual shift in mHealth research from health policy and improving public healthcare to the development and social application of mHealth technologies. CONCLUSIONS To the best of our knowledge, the most current bibliometric analysis dates back to 2016. However, the number of mHealth researches published between 2017 and 2020 exceeds the previous total. Therefore, the results of this study shed light on the latest research hotspots and research trends in mHealth research. These findings provide a useful overview of the development of the field; they may also serve as a valuable reference and provide guidance for other researchers in the field.

BACKGROUND Digital health is growing at a rapid pace, and digital health literacy has tremendous potential to promote health outcomes, bridge the digital divide, and improve health inequalities. OBJECTIVE The purposes of this study are to conduct a systematic bibliometric analysis on the field of dig-ital health literacy and to understand the research context and trends in this field. METHODS A total of 1,955 scientific publications were collected from the Web of Science (WoS) core col-lection. Institutional cooperation, journal co-citation, theme bursting, keyword co-occurrence, author cooperation, author co-citation, literature co-citation and references in the field of digi-tal health literacy were analyzed using the VOSviewer and CiteSpace knowledge mapping tools. RESULTS The results demonstrated that the United States was the leader in number of publications and citations in this field. The University of California System was first in terms of institutional contributions. The Journal of Medical Internet Research led in number of publications, cita-tions and co-citations. Research areas in the field of digital health literacy mainly include the definition and scale of health literacy, health literacy and health outcomes, health literacy and the digital divide, and the influencing factors of health literacy. CONCLUSIONS We summarize research progress in the field of digital health literacy and reveal the context, trends, and trending topics of digital health literacy research through statistical analysis and network visualization. Our work can serve as a fundamental reference and directional guide for future research in this field.

The modern tendencies confirmed the necessity to consider the environmental factors in companies' effectiveness. The goal of the article is to investigate the structural and functional environment of the development of the green competitiveness concept. In the paper were used the methods of bibliometric analysis for determining vectors of green competitiveness concept development. The hypothesis of the study is the growing tendency of analysing sustainable competitiveness by scientists. In this order, a bibliometric analysis of the spread of the concept of «green competitiveness» in scientific articles indexed by the Scopus database was performed. The authors reviewed about 30000 papers from Scopus base in the period from 1996 till 2019. The Scopus screening tools showed that in 2004 the number of articles that focused on green competitiveness began to increase. On the international level, the investigated area was represented by the next countries: the United States, China, India, Great Britain, Taiwan. Using the VOS viewer program were identified the main clusters of the scientific papers, which have investigated green competitiveness with the interconnection of such categories: green marketing, green innovation and sustainable development. The findings could be used for improving the basis for the creation of the strategies for green competitiveness promotion.

<p class="0abstract">The fourth industrial revolution is progressing very rapidly. This research aims to investigate the research patterns and trends of industry 4.0 research with a focus on manufacturing. This bibliometric analysis is performed on data of the past five years (2016 to 2020) retrieved from the Scopus database. This research is conducted on 1426 articles in which the top productive countries, authors, institutions, and most cited articles were investigated. Findings demonstrated that Italy, the United States, and China are the most active countries in terms of research publications. South China University of Technology (China) has been identified as the most productive institution.  Wan, J., Li, D., Rauch, E. were found to be the most productive authors. Industry 4.0 is primarily focused on the fields of engineering and computer science and sustainability is the most prolific journal. Co-occurrence analysis of keywords, co-authorship analysis of authors and countries were carried out along with bibliographic coupling of documents using VoS viewer which is the most common information visualisation software. This article summarises the growth of Industry 4.0 in the past five years and gives a short overview of the related works and applications of Industry 4.0.</p>

All published articles related to “Nickel-based orthopaedic implants” from “Scopus”, were analyzed using the VOS viewer to develop analysis tables and visualization maps. This article had set the objective to consolidate the scientific literature regarding “Nickel-based orthopaedic implants” and also to find out the trends related to the same. The most active journals in this research domain were the Journal of Orthopaedic Research and Biomaterials. The most active country was the United States of America. The leading organization engaged in research regarding knee implants was the City University of Hong Kong. The most active authors who had made valuable contributions related to orthopaedic implants were Chu. P.K.
