Islam was revealed by Allah S.W.T to His messenger, the great Prophet Muhammad S.A.W is a complete and comprehensive religion to face all human problems in this world. It is integrated into a natural system and suitable to be implemented in all places, times, and situations. All its laws and regulations are not contrary to the norms and human nature. This is simply to ensure harmonious life, free from all strife that can ruin a human life. In daily life, human beings often cannot escape from facing various difficulties, problems, and disputes. Therefore, Islam does not allow its followers to look for a solution to the matter without providing a way out and blowing the spirit of Islamiyyah into it. The sulh method is a concept of external dispute resolution and this method has been practiced in all Syariah Courts throughout Malaysia. Peace carries the definition of one of the main teachings in Islam that leads to things or deeds to make peace. This qualitative study uses library research methods as well as documents such as the Quran, books, and research papers. This study aims to refine the concept of Sulh in Islam, history and evaluate the application of Sulh which is now increasingly overlooked by society. This study is important in elevating the concept and wisdom of Sulh that needs to be emphasized in Islam in order to be able to be appreciated and harmonized by the community in Malaysia.

Conflicts are unavoidable in human life. Thus, for human beings, the attitude of forgiveness is of importance to be well-embedded and sustainably constructed. Resting upon the aforesaid premises, the present study conducted a library research to reveal how forgiveness is viewed from the perspectives of positive psychology and Islam. 102 scientific works reviewed, 58 works were finally selected to be scrutinized in depth. This study revealed that the discourses in the field of positive psychology imply that forgiveness attitude is of importance to be embedded in human beings and continuously constructed by virtue of its positive natural impacts on mental health, good relationships, physical health, and positive well-being. Furthermore, as informed by Islamic teachings, the attitude of forgiveness is also suggested to be well and continuously embedded. As the best Islamic role model for the end-time people, the Prophet Muhammad PBUH already exemplified that humans are indeed to always be forgiving and even to pray for others for the sake of good things that Allah SWT will bestow to. It is worth noting that both positive psychology and Islam encourage humans to be forgiving individuals.

Abstract In the internet age, memes are at once products and driving forces of social practices. A meme contains a memetic message and a meme output, and boasts, if guided by a pragmatic way of thinking, several features, including but not limited to salience, frequency, adaptability, argumentativity, sociality, embeddedness, embodiedness, locality, relativity, emotionality and dynamicity. The current global COVID-19 pandemic serves as a fitting and timely touchstone to testify how human beings are surrounded by numerous good and evil memes in the online world, and how internet memes, as can be seen from the illustration of two specific memes, namely, the ‘stay home, stay safe’ meme and the ‘wear a mask’ meme, are impacting human life-worlds, online and offline, with their transformative power, be it constructive or destructive. Moreover, researching how memes plays a decisive part in internet-mediated interaction provides a lens of insight through which ‘deep states’ of human nature of both self and others can be uncovered and through which what Nietzsche called “a revaluation of values” is possible.

Man and his individual way of life are the most complex objects of scientific research. In modern humanitarian knowledge, the question of the nature of man and his life path is debatable. The article continues the cycle of author's works devoted to the development of an informational approach to self-organization of a person and his life path. The relevance of the study is due to the need for a scientific explanation of the phenomena of self-organization in the development of human life. The purpose of this work is to identify the effect of instability and uncertainty on the development of a person’s life path at points of vital bifurcation. The article gives the author’s definition of a person’s life path, analyzes the existence of a person in conditions of intrapersonal instability and uncertainty, and the development of human life at points of vital bifurcation. The results of the study allow us to consider instability and uncertainty as a necessary condition for the emergence of processes of self-organization of a person’s life path at the point of vital bifurcation. The main research methods are reflection and modeling.

AbstractWhile the theses that (1) human beings are primarily passional creatures and that (2) religion is fundamentally a product of our sensible nature are both closely linked to David Hume, Hume's contemporary Henry Home, Lord Kames (1696–1782), also defended them and explored their implications. Importantly, Kames does not draw the same sceptical conclusions as does Hume. Employing a sophisticated account of the rationality of what he calls the ‘sensitive branch’ of human nature, Kames argues that religion plays a central role in the development and perfection of human life.

I read Beiner's book as the intellectual biography of someone who is both a witness and actor in the contemporary renewal of political philosophy. This is why, in the reflections that follow, I focus not on his perspicacious analyses of the various authors treated in the book, but rather on the manner in which he understands the nature of this renewal and the future of the discipline itself. My reflections are based in a fundamental agreement with the definition of philosophy defended in this work. Political philosophy is a discipline that reflects on the ends of human life in order to rank and to judge them. This is why, according to Beiner, political philosophy has the ambition to present totalizing views of human nature (14).

Charles Darwin and C. G. Jung were revolutionary thinkers about the role of human beings in the natural world. While Darwin’s Origins of Species (1859) sought to remove both God and “man” from the centre of the understanding of nature, C. G. Jung, one generation later, aimed to remove the ego from the central definition of human nature. Although both theorists have been explored for their conceptual ideas, neither has been seriously considered as writers, and in particular as writers of nature and human nature. This paper shows how similar these authors are in treating the unknowable in the psyche and history as of major significance. In particular, both writers require the resources of ancient myth, especially of nature as an Earth Mother goddess in order to represent the inconceivable. The paper also looks at the new critical practice of “literary Darwinism,” which, while viable in its own terms, suffers from being neither “literary,” nor “Darwinian.”

The result shows that Hinobe as an invader still maintains human nature, self-concept and freedom. The nature of human beings as individual beings is a feature of humanism in Shi no Hana and Tsumi no Hi. Despite being an invader, Hinobe realized his differences with other Japanese people regarding the ideals of peace. Freedom in Shi no Hana and Tsumi no Hi is divided into physical and psychological freedom, both of which are only Hinobe consciousness not realization. The self concept is divided into physical, attitude and intelligence.

This article discusses the concept of bribery in the perspective of hadith jurisprudence and its impact on human life. By looking at some definitions of bribery, it is found that all definitions give different meanings, goals, and aspects, there are essence of bribery, or which have similarities to them (such as gratification), because bribery is a social phenomenon and has many patterns making it difficult to define definitions the right and limit the meaning. But a definition that explains the meaning of bribery objectively, namely: Giving given to someone (an official) so that the right becomes wrong and wrong becomes right, because it summarizes the essence of bribery practice and is considered a comprehensive definition of all banned aspects of bribery, so let us choose this. In Qur’ān and Ḥadīth, Allah forbade his servant to eat bribery property, because this property was included as part of consuming other people's assets with vanity. Even though bribery is called a variety of terms in daily life, such as facilitation payments, tips, etc., the legal status and prohibition cannot change with these various terms. Bribes also have the potential to create hate conflicts and hostility among members of the community. Because in essence, bribery is only a tool for those who hold policies to oppress the weak. On the other hand, those who surrendered their wealth to the recipients of this bribe gave their assets very forcefully.
