This paper discusses the role of the principal as a supervisor in improving the quality of education. Principals as leaders of educational institutions should be responsible for all school / madrasah activities. He has full authority and responsibility to conduct all educational activities including supervision activities, both academic supervision and managerial supervision within the school / madrasah he leads. Principal As Supervisor serves to guide, assist and direct educators and educational staff to appreciate and implement the procedures of education to support the quality of education.This paper discusses the role of the principal as a supervisor in improving the quality of education. Educational institutions as a forum for the intellectual life of the nation are required to make various efforts and innovations in order to improve the quality of education. As an institution, of course, schools must have learning tools and educators to carry out the learning process. In addition, schools must also have good and efficient institutional and employee governance. This is where the role of the principal is tested and required to be able to regulate and manage the school institution as well as all educators and academicians within the scope of the school so that they can progress and be organized as the vision and mission of the institution and to improve the quality of the school in a comprehensive and sustainable manner.

There are several objectives of this paper including, to find out how leadership in the world of education (headmaster), discusses the leadership style in education, to study the leadership role of the principal and to improve coordination in carrying out tasks related to coordinating existing parties. The research method used is literacy collection in the form of books, articles and other reading papers. This paper complements the discussion about leadership, because the presence of leaders is needed in an organization, in this case the author focuses on education. In addition, leadership is needed in supporting the process of improving the quality of education, because the style or characteristics associated with leadership can improve and move individuals in the organization. The current leadership style in school management is no longer a force of coercion but uses a commitment based on togetherness so that all parties under educational leadership can contribute to achieving the educational goals to be achieved. Whereas the quality of educational outcomes is issued by educational institutions in a certain period of time. A leader from an educational institution will be a support for an educational institution to be able to get a quality educational institution Good leadership will encourage a strong educational institution to become better too.

The context of this research is the biggest challenge of schools/’madrasah’ in carrying out the mandate related to the quality of education which is a measure of the success of the implementation of education, one of which is to shape the character/personality of students through inheritance of cultural values. In educational institutions, organizational culture (values, habits, and positive attitudes) will be a strong non-material capital strength for the realization of excellent educational institutions. This study aims to describe the organizational culture developed by SDIT Darul Falah Sukorejo Ponorogo which makes it one of the leading schools in Ponorogo Regency. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research based on field research. The results showed that the organizational culture developed by SDIT Darul Falah included: 1) at the institutional level which included weekly meetings, field meetings, routine recitals every Ahad Wage, One Day One Information (ODOI), educational visits and flag ceremonies every Monday; 2) at the level of educators and educational staff which includes bina nafsiyah, tahsin al-Qur'an, professional development; and 3) at the student level which includes bina nafsiyah, reading the Koran with the Ummi Method, congregational prayers, manners, queuing, independent, disciplined, One Day One Thousand (ODOT), skilled, healthy living, clean and beautiful.

The purpose of this study is the first objective of this study to find out how leadirship in the education world (principals) discusses to understanding leadership styles in education, to study the leadership role of principals to improve coordination in carrying out tasks related to coordinating goods their item. The role of the headmaster's leadership in supporting the culture and quality of the school is very influential for the quality of the school. This leadership is oriented to how the role of the headmaster's leadership in supporting the interactive learning process, conducive schoolenvironment, cultured and quality community. The purpose of the research is: (1) describe how the role of the headmaster's leadership in supporting the culture of SMPK Angelus Custos II Surabaya (2) describes how the role of the headmaster's leadership in supporting the quality of SMPK Angelus Custos II Surabaya. This research uses Qualitative research method. Data collection using research instruments with participant observation methods, in-depth interviews, documentation and literature reviews. The results of this study are: (1) the role of the principal leadership at SMPK Angelus Custos II Surabaya in supporting the culture and quality of education is considered as an important element and optimal enough in determining the direction of school success. (2) The impact of the principal's support in improving the culture and quality of education at SMPK Angelus Custos II Surabaya is quite maximal. It can be concluded that the role of the headmaster's leadership in supporting the culture and quality of the school is very influential in improving the quality of the school.

Principal's strategy is the art and knowledge gained by a principal in formulating, implementing, evaluating cross-functional decisions that facilitate the organization in achieving goals. Teachers are the key to the success of an educational institution. Good and bad behavior or teaching procedures for teachers will greatly affect the image of educational institutions. This study aims to examine and discuss in-depth the principal's strategy in developing teacher competence at MA Tarbiyatul Islam Gending Probolinggo. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques with interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that: (1) The model that can be used to improve the competence of teachers in carrying out their duties is through In-service education or In-service training programs. (2) The strategic steps of the principal's leadership in developing teacher competence to improve the quality of education are the first formal strategy, namely the teacher is assigned by the institution to attend education and training, the second non-formal strategy, namely the teacher on his own desire and effort to train and develop himself related to work or position.

Leaving school and joblessness were the problematic social reality in education. The factors of dropping out today are endogenous (self) and exogenous (environmental) factors. This paper tries to describe the social education. This is due to the lack of religious social upbringing, lack of parents' understanding of education in economic and social conditions, and cultural, social environment and low IQ factors. While the problem of unemployment is more dominant due to professionalism or educational skills that are oriented to the fulfillment of the world of work. Alternative solution in resolving the problem of leaving school include: (a) equitable distribution of the educational social environment; (b) promote the concept of lifelong education; (c) the use of various work activities for school dropouts and unemployment; (d) maximizing the role of the family's social environment in the continuation of children's education; (e) implement free education policy efforts. The availability of educational institutions that are equitable with the support of adequate facilities, then supported by the atmosphere of a social environment that is oriented to improving the quality of education that is sustainable will be able to develop an educational orientation based on work professionalism.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the role of the principal in improving the quality of education at the Laboratory Elementary School of Unimuda Sorong. The methodology used was qualitative with a phenomenological approach. The study found that the role of the principal in improving the quality of education at the Laboratory Elementary School of Unimuda Sorong consisted of three stages: input, processing, and output. The input stage includes 1) Free of costs: providing free education for Papuan children and 2) Mapping: prioritizing Papuan children and transmigrants’ communities around the "Warmon Kokoda" village. The processing stage includes enlarging the classrooms, providing laboratories, creating a comfortable library for elementary school-aged children, evaluating al-Qur'an teachers, and daily controlling the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Finally, at the output stage, all of the students of the past few years graduated with stable and static grades. The leadership style carried out by the principal was democratic in all respects by taking a social-persuasive approach when problems occur between teachers and parents and the surrounding community.
