This research aimed to analyze the role of agricultural sector to analyze in the economy and labor Absorption in Gorontalo Province. This research was conducted over three months and started from June to August 2015 in Gorontalo Province. The data used in this research was secondary data which was obtained from Statistics Central Bureau of Gorontalo Province. The analysis used analysis of Location Quotient (LQ), Multiplier Short Run (MS), elasticity of labor, and Trend Linear by using the PDRB variable and numbers of labor force. The result of this research showed that the role of agricultural sector in the absorption of labor in Gorontalo Province is relatively stable in each year, and reviewed from PDRB terms the agricultural sector including the basis sector. Therefore, it needed continuing research to know factors which influence PDRB except the labor, which can increase PDRB of agricultural sector. Furthermore, the role of agricultural sector in absorption labor in Gorontalo Province is big enough and relatively stable in each year. Reviewed from PDRB aspect and labor aspect, agricultural sector was including the basic sector. Government of Gorontalo Province was expected to give more concern by increasing of investment and improving of human resources in agricultural sector.Key words: Agricultural Sector, Location Quotient, Multiplier Share, Elasticity of Labor, Trend Linear.

This study aims to determine the role of agricultural sector in the absorption of labor in North Sulawesi Province. This research was conducted for three months, starting from October until December 2017 in North Sulawesi Province. In this study the data used are secondary data obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of North Sulawesi Province. The data is processed using the formula Location Quotient (LQ) and Labor Multiplier (Multiplier Shortrun). The results showed that agricultural sector is the most important sector in the absorption of labor in the Province of North Sulawesi. The contribution of agriculture sector on labor absorption period 2009-2016 as much as 39%. The contribution of the agricultural sector in absorbing labor in the Province of North Sulawesi tends to be the same as the contribution of the agricultural sector at the National level.*oehl*.

This study aims to determine the role of the agricultural sector to the economy of South Bolaang Mongondow Regency and its development in the period of 5 years ie in 2010 until 2014 and also to know the agricultural sector is the base or non-base sector. The data used is secondary data. This secondary data is obtained from the relevant agencies namely the Central Bureau of Statistics of North Sulawesi Province. The data is then analyzed using contribution formulas, growth formula and Location Quotient (LQ) analysis. The results showed that the agricultural sector is the largest contributor to the economy of Bolaang Mongondow Selatan Regency. This can be seen from the calculation of contribution and development of agricultural sector contribution to South Bolaang Mongondow Regency PDRB from 2010 to 2014. Based on the results of research also known that the development of agriculture sector to PDRB shows an increase that is from 2010-2014 with the largest increase occurred in 2013 with growth reached 5.82%, this can be interpreted that the productivity of agricultural sector in South Bolaang Mongondow Regency is good. From the analysis result using LQ, it can be seen that agriculture sector is base sector in South Bolaang Mongondow Regency, it means the role of agricultural sector in Bolaang Mongondow Selatan Regency is bigger.

The aim of this research is to known the role of agricultural sector in South Minahasa Regency. The role was measured by sector position analysis and is the agriculture subsector was the base sector or nonbase by seeing the contribution of the agricultural sectorto the farming of Gross Regional Domestic Product in South Minahasa Regency. The data that has been used in this research was the secondary data by the Central Statistic Board of North Sulawesi Province, also the Agricultural and Livestock Service of South Minahasa Regency. The result of this research shows that the agricultural sector was the biggest contributor in the forming of GDRP in South Minahasa Regency. By using location quotient (LQ) analysis, the agricultural sector was one of the base sectors in the other sectors of econonomics, while agriculture subsector which was the base subsector is the one-season horticulture plants subsector. Based on the result of Dinamic Location Quotient (DLQ) analysis, the agricultural sector was predicted still be the base sector of South Minahasa Regency for five years ahead. Furthemore, the prediction of the agricultural subsector that have the potention of becoming the base subsector in the future is food plants subsector, one-sesion horticulture plants subsector, a-year horticultural subsector etcetera, a-year plantation subsector, livestock subsector, the service of agricultural subsector and hunting, and the fisheries subsector.

ABSTRAKPembangunan ekonomi adalah suatu proses kenaikan pendapatan total dan pendapatan perkapita dengan memperhatikan adanya pertambahan penduduk dan disertai dengan perubahan fundamental dalam struktur ekonomi suatu negara. Sektor pertanian di Kabupaten Bantaeng merupakan salah satu sektor yang sangat potensial dalam memberikan sumbangan terhadap pertumbuhan dan pembangunan ekonomi di Kabupaten Bantaeng, baik dari segi pendapatan maupun penyerapan tenaga kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) Mengetahui kinerja sektor pertanian dalam perekonomian Kabupaten Bantaeng, 2) Mengetahui peran sektor pertanian dalam perekonomian di Kabupaten Bantaeng. Dalam penelitian ini, data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder PDRB Kabupaten Bantaeng Tahun 2013-2017 dan Provinsi Sulawesi Selatan 2013-2017, serta data kependudukan 2014-2017 dengan menggunakan 1) Analisis Location Quotient, 2) Analisis Shift Share, 3) Analisis Tipologi Klassen, 4) Analisis Elastisitas, 5) Analisis Proyeksi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Sektor pertanian merupakan sektor basis di Kabupaten Bantaeng dengan nilai LQ sebesar 1,5. Walaupun demikian sektor pertanian termasuk sektor yang ‘maju tapi tertekan’. Hasil analisis lainnya menunjukkan bahwa sektor pertanian memiliki keunggulan komparatif namun tidak memiliki keunggulan kompetitif serta pergeseran pertumbuhan ekonominya lebih lambat dibandingkan sektor lainnya. 2) Sektor pertanian mampu menyerap tenaga kerja sebesar 0,9% pada saat ekonomi daerah tumbuh 1%, sedangkan menurut proyeksi kesempatan kerja di sektor pertanian mengalami peningkatan rata-rata sebesar 4,64%.Kata Kunci: Sektor Basis; LQ; Shift Share; Tipologi Klassen.ABSTRACTEconomic development is a process of increasing total income and income per capita by taking into account the increase in population and accompanied by fundamental changes in the economic structure of a country. The agricultural sector in Bantaeng Regency is a very potential sector in contributing to economic growth and development in Bantaeng Regency, both in terms of income and employment. This study aims to: 1) Know the performance of the agricultural sector in the economy of Bantaeng Regency, 2) Know the role of the agricultural sector in the economy in Bantaeng Regency. In this study, the data used were secondary data from Bantaeng Regency GRDP 2013-2017 and South Sulawesi Province 2013-2017, as well as population data 2014-2017 using 1) Location Quotient Analysis, 2) Shift Share Analysis, 3) Klassen Typology Analysis , 4) Analysis of Elasticity, 5) Projection Analysis. The results of the study show that: 1) The agricultural sector is the base sector in Bantaeng Regency with an LQ value of 1.5. Nevertheless the agricultural sector is included in the sector which is 'advanced but depressed'. The results of other analyzes show that the agricultural sector has a comparative advantage but does not have a competitive advantage and the shift in economic growth is slower than other sectors. 2) The agricultural sector is able to absorb employment by 0,9% when the regional economy grows 1%, while according to the projections the employment opportunities in the agricultural sector have an average increase of 4.64%.  Keywords: Base Sector; Location Quotient; Shift Share; Typology Klassen.

<em>The agricultural sector</em><em> is a strategic sector in Manokwari regency. The agricultural sector provides a major contribution in the regional economy, an economic base of rural people, dominate the life of most residents in this region and provider of food and raw materials for other sectors. The purpose of this study was to determine how big the contribution of different sub-sectors that exist in the agricultural sector, which analyzes sectors influential in changing the economic structure of agriculture in the area and know the potential commodities that can be developed in an effort to enhance the role of the agricultural sector. The research method used through literature study and analysis of secondary data sourced from the relevant authorities. To find out how big the factors that influence changes in economic structures of domination of the agricultural sector into non-agricultural sector estimates used Ordinary Least Square (OLS). For the determination of the potential commodities that can be seeded used method approach Location Quotient (LQ). The results showed the greatest contribution of the different sub-sectors within the agricultural sector contained in the food crops sub-sector. Based on the rate of growth per year, plantation crops sub-sector occupied the highest positions. The sectors that provide real impact on the agricultural sector's contribution to the regional gross domestic product �of the building sector and services sector. Potential commodities that can be developed in different areas in Manokwari regency include food crops and pulses, vegetables and fruits and livestock including cows, goats, pigs and chicken.</em>

The role of education, knowledge and human resources in the agribusiness becomes of primary importance for the development of agricultural sector and, more generally, of the territory. The main objective of the present paper is to verify the role of investment in human resources and, consequently, in services for the agricultural development for the dynamics of rural development, trade and international cooperation of agribusiness.After a literature review, the paper firstly analyses the characteristics of the Italian Region of Basilicata, selected for our empirical application, and secondly develops an econometric model to explain the relationship between the rural GDP and a set of economic variables and of network-education-social (NES) dummy variable. These NES is representative of social, educational and, network factors, describing the degree of openness of the region firm. As expected, the results show that farmers may act as engines for economic development when they are trained on the basis of the needs and requirements related to innovation and research, and they are assisted through new models of organization of agricultural services.

The Covid 19 pandemic has brought significant changes to the economy of Bali as a domestic and foreign tourist destination. The tourism sector, as the main contributor to the largest contributor to Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP), experienced a contraction, which had an impact on other sectors. One of the sectors affected in the agricultural sector, especially the marketing of food products. In the new normal era in Bali, it is necessary to strengthen the rural economy through the application of technology but the process of implementing these innovations is not always successful. The success of collective action is determined by the rational boundaries of society. The rational boundaries of society can be expanded by the presence of symmetrical information. The research objective was to analyze the role of collective action on the application of the Integrated System of Rice Ducks as an effort to increase farmers' income. This research is a case study in Subak Lanyah, Tabanan Sub District, Tabanan-Bali District. Primary data were collected through direct observation and questionnaires while secondary data were collected through literature studies. Analysis of the role of collective action in the application of the integrated system of rice ducks (STIP) was carried out statistically descriptive of farm costs and farmer income. The results showed that the STIP innovation as an effort to increase farmers' income was successfully implemented through Collective action. The collective action mechanism plays a role in strengthening social capital which encourages the application of STIP technology so that the income of Subak member farmers in Subak Lanyah, Tabanan-Bali increases. The success in implementing STIP technology is done by building a process of communication, trust, and networks of farmers with the government, private sector, and universities.of communication, trust, and networks of farmers with the government, private sector, and universities.

This research aimed to analyze trend of agricultural GDP and agricultural contribution in Indonesia, and identify the role of agricultural sector and sub sectors in provinces of Indonesia. Source of data this research use linear trend analysis to analyze trend agricultural Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and agricultural contribution. Location Quotient (LQ), Dynamic Location Quotient (DLQ), and combination LQ and DLQ is used to identify the role of agricultural sector and sub sectors. The analysis found that agricultural GDP in Indonesia has increasing trend while agricultural contribution has decreasing trend. Agricultural sector is basic sector in 29 provinces in Indonesia. Farm food crop is leading sub sector in 6 provinces, farm non food crops is leading sub sector in 14 provinces, livestock is leading sub sector in 3 provinces, forestry is leading sub sector in 1 provinces, fishery is leading sub sector in 5 provinces.

This study aims to examine the economic potential in the sector and sub-sector of agriculture, forestry and fishery of Jember Regency. In addition, this study also highlights and determines the leading sectors and sub-sectors in Jember Regency to provide an overview of superior economic activities that can be developed in increasing the economic potential in Jember District. The data used in this study is secondary data in the form of time series (time series) for 6 years from 2010 to 2015 Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) of East Java Province, GRDP (Gross Regional Domestic Product) Jember District. The data was obtained from Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of East Java Province and Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of Jember Regency. Shift-Share, Location Quotient (LQ), and Growth Ratio Model (MRP). From the results of the research: (1) shift-share analysis shows that the economy of Jember Regency during 2010-2015 period increased by Rp2,412.3 billion. The performance improvement in Jember Regency can be seen from the sectors and sub-sectors of agriculture, forestry and fisheries; (2) based on the analysis of Quotient Location (LQ) of the sector and the leading sub-sector in Jember Regency there is 1 sector and 1 sub-sector with average LQ> 1 or potential sectors and subsectors namely agriculture, farming, hunting & agricultural services and plantation sub-sector; (3) Growth Ratio Model (MRP) analysis shows the dominant sectors of growth and subsector of plantation, sub-sector of agricultural and hunting services, forestry and logging sector, and fishery sector. Keywords: Economic Potential, Shift-Share, Quotient Location (LQ), Growth Ratio Model (MRP)

The aims of this study were to identify the status of village progress based on the value of the village development index (IDM) and to identify the leading commodity in the agricultural sector in Bombana Regency. The main data of this study are secondary data of villages IDM, which were sourced from The Ministry of Villages, Disadvantaged Areas Development and Transmigration, agricultural production in Bombana Regency and Southeast Sulawesi Province, which were sourced from the Central Statistics Board of Indonesia. The Data were analyzed using descriptive and quantitative analysis methods, namely composite index analysis of IDM and location Quotient (LQ) analysis The data showed a village that has progressed to become a developed village namely Waemputtang Village with an index value of 0.7335. The leading food crop products are rice plants. there are 18 districts in Bombana Regency which produce rice. the types of livestock that are surplus and progressive in Bombana are cows, buffaloes, native chickens. These leading commodities already have a value of LQ > 1
