This study aims to examine the economic potential in the sector and sub-sector of agriculture, forestry and fishery of Jember Regency. In addition, this study also highlights and determines the leading sectors and sub-sectors in Jember Regency to provide an overview of superior economic activities that can be developed in increasing the economic potential in Jember District. The data used in this study is secondary data in the form of time series (time series) for 6 years from 2010 to 2015 Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) of East Java Province, GRDP (Gross Regional Domestic Product) Jember District. The data was obtained from Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of East Java Province and Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) of Jember Regency. Shift-Share, Location Quotient (LQ), and Growth Ratio Model (MRP). From the results of the research: (1) shift-share analysis shows that the economy of Jember Regency during 2010-2015 period increased by Rp2,412.3 billion. The performance improvement in Jember Regency can be seen from the sectors and sub-sectors of agriculture, forestry and fisheries; (2) based on the analysis of Quotient Location (LQ) of the sector and the leading sub-sector in Jember Regency there is 1 sector and 1 sub-sector with average LQ> 1 or potential sectors and subsectors namely agriculture, farming, hunting & agricultural services and plantation sub-sector; (3) Growth Ratio Model (MRP) analysis shows the dominant sectors of growth and subsector of plantation, sub-sector of agricultural and hunting services, forestry and logging sector, and fishery sector. Keywords: Economic Potential, Shift-Share, Quotient Location (LQ), Growth Ratio Model (MRP)

The improvement of economic performance in Jember Regency can be seen from positive sector of agriculture sector, forestry and fishery; (2) Based on the analysis of Location Quotient (LQ) sector and the leading sub-sector in Jember Regency there is 1 sector and 1 sub-sector having average LQ> 1 or sector and subsector of the (potential) ie agriculture, farming, and plantation sub-sector; (3) Growth Ratio Model (MRP) analysis shows that the dominant sectors of growth and large contribution include estate crop sub-sector, agriculture and hunting services sub sector, forestry and logging sector, and fishery sector; (4) weighted results based on Shift-Share, Location Quotient (LQ) and Growth Ratio (MRP) analysis were obtained by the highest ranking sub-category of the most potential weighted crops sub-sector.

This study aims to identify and determine the leading sectors in Malang City to illustrate leading economic activities that can be developed to boost economic potential in Malang City. The analysis tools used include Shift-Share, Location Quotient (LQ), and Growth Ratio Model (GRM) analysis. The results show that: (1) shift-share analysis showed that the economy of Malang City during the period 2010-2016 increased by Rp. 12,926,565.5 million. The increase in economic performance in Malang City can be seen from 16 (sixteen) sectors of economic activity that are positive; (2) Location Quotient (LQ) analysis showed the leading sectors in Malang City consisting of 7 (seven) sectors, i.e. water procurement, garbage, waste and recycling management, construction, retail and wholesale trade, car and motorcycle repair, financial and insurance services, education services, health services, and social activities and other services sector; (3) Growth Ratio Model (GRM) estimation showed that the dominant sectors of growth and large contributions consist of the retail and wholesale trade car and motorcycle repair, transportation and warehousing, accommodation and food provision, information and communication, financial and insurance services, real estate, education services and health services and social activities sectors; (4) weighting results based on Shift-Share, Location Quotient (LQ) analysis, and Growth Ratio Model (GRM) showed that five sectors based on the highest potential weighting results are the health services and social activities, education services, construction, retail and wholesale trade car and motorcycle repair, and financial and insurance services sector. Keywords: Economic Potential, Shift-Share, Location Quotient (LQ), Growth Ratio Model (GRM)JEL Classification: R58;R11;O41

This study aims to determine the potential sectors or sectors base and non-base in the city of South Tangerang. Data obtained through secondary data, that is data Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of South Tangerang City in 2010 - 2013. The data were analyzed using analysis tools Location quotients (LQ) and Growth Ratio Model (MRP). These results indicate, there are five sectors at the same base as the dominant sector which needs to be developed, namely: the building sector, trade, hotels and restaurants, transport and communications, financial services, leasing and business services, and the services sector. Sector is based on the calculation basis of positive LQ (LQ> 1) and the results of calculation of the five sectors Growth Ratio (RPs) through MRP is also positive, or more than one.

Mempawah Regency Government has a mission to improving the economy that oriented to the community. The goal is to develop the economy through food security (agriculture commodity crops, horticulture, livestock, fisheries and biodiversity) and reinforced by forests management and plantations to improve the welfare of farmers. Mempawah regency is one of the regencys that the economic life of the people still depend on agribusiness system, particularly the agricultural sector. Based on the (Gross Regional Domestic Product) GRDP value of Mempawah Regencys years 2008 to 2012 the agricultural sector, especially the food crops subsector has the highest contribution to Mempawah Regency’s GRDP compared to other subsectors. The goal of this study is to analyze which subsector that became the basis of agricultural sector in the Mempawah Regency and the leading commodity of food crops and horticulture. This study uses three analysis tools i.e Dynamic Location Quotient Analysis to analyze what is the basis of the agricultural sector in the Mempawah Regency. Shift-Share Analysis and Growth Ratio Model Analysis to analyze any commodity which is the leading commodities of food crops and horticulture. The results from this study is, subsectors which are the basis of the agricultural sector in the Mempawah Regency is the food crops, forestry, and fishery subsector. The leading commodity in the Mempawah Regency of food crops are rice, the leading commodities of vegetables are cucumbers and kangkung, and the leading commodity of fruits are bananas.Keywords : Basis, Leading Sector, Food Crops Subsector and Horticulture

This study aims to determine the regional leading sector of Kepahiang Regency as the information and considerations in planning economic development. Secondary data such as time series of the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) of Kepahiang and Bengkulu in the period 2011-2014 are applied. Klassen Typology and Location Quotient (LQ) are tools of analysis. The results of the analysis based on two analysis tools indicate that the leading sector with the criterias developed, base, and competitive is agricultural sector. The results showed that the agricultural sector can be used as a leading sector in Kepahiang Regency with criteria of the advanced sector and grow rapidly and is the base sector. Seberang Musi Sub-district has the most potential for cultivation of food crops and plantations with 13 commodities that become the base sector. For the specialization of food crop base sector is Kaba wetan Subdistrict with 5 commodities with base criteria and for plantation crops Merigi and Seberang Musi subdistricts with 9 commodities crops.

This study used secondary data in the form of time series which are analyzed using Pathway analysis with multiple linear regression formula. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of investment and labor to gross regional domestic product (GRDP) and regional revenues in Balikpapan city.  The results of the study was shown that Y = 0.202 - 0.098 X1 + 0.244 X2 + 0.825 X3. The results showed that investment, labor and gross regional domestic product (GRDP) have jointly effect on the regional revenues in Balikpapan city. Partially; the investment has no significant effect on gross regional domestic product (GRDP), labor has significant effect on gross regional domestic product (GRDP), gross regional domestic product (GRDP) has significant effect to regional revenues in Balikpapan city, the investment has no significant effect on regional revenues in Balikpapan city, and labor has no significant effect on regional revenues in Balikpapan city. The contribution of investment, labor and gross regional domestic product (GRDP) variable was about 93.5 % and it means that those have very strong relationship; meanwhile, the rest, about 6.5 %, has been influenced by other factors.

Gross Regional Domestic Product (GDP) is one of the economic indicators according to various economic instruments in which clearly visible macro-economic conditions of a region. Infrastructure is the most primary public infrastructure in supporting a country's economic activities, and the availability of infrastructure greatly determines the level of efficiency and effectiveness of economic activities. This study aims to analyze how much electricity, road, and health infrastructure affects gross regional domestic product in Sidoarjo Regency. This research covers the area of Sidoarjo Regency. This study uses secondary data obtained from the Central Statistics Agency with a period of 15 years from 2005-2019. The analysis technique used is Multiple Linear Regression Analysis with Ordinary Least Square (OLS) model using computer tools SPSS program (Statistic Program For Social Science) Version 13.0 that shows the influence between free variables and bound variables. The end result is that electricity infrastructure variables have a positive and significant influence on gross regional domestic product in Sidoarjo Regency. Variable road infrastructure and health infrastructure have a positive but insignificant influence on gross regional domestic product in Sidoarjo Regency.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tren dan perbandingan IPM dan PDRB di Provinsi Kepulauan Riau dan Bangka Belitung. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder yang diperoleh dari berbagai sumber dan publikasi dari Badan Pusat Statistik Provinsi Kepulauan Riau and Bangka Belitung tahun 2014-2018. Analisis deskriptif kuantitatif untuk menjelaskan fenomena indeks pembangunan manusia dan PDRB di kedua provinsi tersebut. Temuan studi menemukan bahwa indeks pembangunan manusia dan produk domestik regional bruto mengalami peningkatan. Kondisi IPM di Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung dan Kepulauan Riau semakin membaik setiap tahunnya, dengan rata-rata IPM tertinggi selama periode 2014-2018. PDRB Kepualau Riau cenderung tumbuh lebih cepat dibanding Bangka Belitung. PDRB Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung dan Kepulauan Riau juga cenderung meningkat setiap tahun dengan rata-rata IPM selama periode 2014-2018. Kecenderungan pertumbuhan IPM Bangka Belitung lebih cepat dibandingkan di Kepulauan Riau.This study aims to determine the trend and comparison of HDI and GRDP in the Provinces of Riau Islands and Bangka Belitung. The data used in this study are secondary data obtained from various sources and publications from the Central Bureau of Statistics, Bangka Belitung and Riau Islands Province 2014-2018. A quantitative descriptive analysis to explain the phenomenon of the human development index and GRDP in the two provinces. The findings of the study found that the human development index and gross regional domestic product have increased. The HDI conditions in the Province of Bangka Belitung Islands and Riau Islands are getting better every year, with the highest HDI average during the 2014-2018 period. PDRB Kepualau Riau tends to grow faster than Bangka Belitung. The GRDP of the Bangka Belitung Islands and Riau Islands Provinces also tends to increase every year with an average HDI during the 2014-2018 period. The tendency of Bangka Belitung HDI growth is faster than in the Riau Islandscrisis is statistically significant to affect the gross regional domestic product growth.

The purpose of this study was to identify sectors of potential economic, competitive competitive, comparative and specialization, to then be used as a driver of economic growth and development of the district of Banyuwangi. This type of research is descriptive quantitative research. The data used in this research is secondary data and time series. These results indicate that by Location Quotient (LQ), the sector identified as a leading sector is agriculture. Based on the average results of analysis Growth Ratio Method (MRP), shows found their economic sectors that stand at both district and provincial Banyuwangi East Java, with the construction sector and the sectors of trade, hotel and restaurant.

The agricultural resource is one of the most critical sectors in the economy, which contributes a high portion of the growth and development of a particular region. Differences in characteristics and potential between regions give rise to the basic and non-basic sectors, which then affect income contribution. This research aims to analyze the economic potential of the agricultural sector of the regencies and cities in West Kalimantan Province as basic or non-basic sector. Both basic and non-basic sector analysis can be carried out using quantitative-descriptive methods using Shift-Share and Location Quotient (LQ) analysis. The analysis was carried out using secondary data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) publication from 2015 to 2020. The results of the LQ analysis show the agricultural sector in Sambas, Bengkayang, Landak, Mempayah, Sanggau, Ketapang, Sintang, Kapuas Hulu, Sekadau, and Kayong Utara are the basic sector. Meanwhile, the agricultural sector in Kubu Raya, Pontianak, and Singkawang are non-basic sector. Agriculture in Melawi Regency has changed from a basic sector in 2015, to a non-basic sector in 2020. The results of the Shift-Share analysis show the agricultural sector in Sambas, Bengkayang, Landak, Mempayah, Sanggau, Ketapang, Kapuas Hulu, Sekadau, Kubu Raya, Pontianak and Singkawang have progressive or advanced growth, while Sintang, Melawi and Kayong Utara have slowed growth.
