The paper deals with professional values of journalism students. The grounds for research are the transformation of values in journalists’ professional activity that occurs under conditions of society mediatization and development of new information and communication technologies. The consequences of this transformation include problems like publication of non-validated / non-authentic information, distortion of facts, imposing a false agenda. Media experts are engaged in active debates on preserving the journalists’ professional ethics. In this regard, a need emerges to study professional and value orientations of students – future journalists who are beginning to get acquainted with this profession at a higher education institution. The object of our research was students from Journalism Faculty of the Ural Federal University and the University for Humanities. The research included an online survey of students (n = 202), as well as two interviews with Faculty Heads for profound understanding of the situation in the contemporary journalism education. The findings evidence that fact checking, accuracy and integrity are among the top professional values of journalism students. A journalist, in students’ view, is an innovator capable of creating unique content; their purpose is disclosing the truth and helping people. We can therefore conclude that students respond to value demands of the media environment and at the same time they are oriented at reproducing the traditional principles of journalism ethics, despite media experts’ doubts of preserving professional values in contemporary journalism.

The essence of the phenomenon of "value orientation", "formation of student value orientations" has been revealed n the article. The "professional values" as an integrated multi-level education, the coordinate system and the corresponding regulations of the professional's specialist activity have been substantiated. It has been established that professional values of student youth include professional responsibility, the essence-content content of pedagogical work, its moral aspect, principles and professional relations. The functions of value orientations and peculiarities of their formation in the professional training of future specialists of higher education institution of Ukraine have been determined. The peculiarities of students' values n higher education institutions have been revealed. The criteria (cognitive, motivational, activity, personal) and levels (low, average, sufficient and high) of professional-value orientations of students have been determined. The model is developed and pedagogical conditions of formation and development of students' value orientations in the educational environment of the higher education institution have been substantiated: formation of positive motivation for the profession and necessity of ethical regulation of their own professional actions; updating of educational and methodological support and substantive content of future specialists' professional training (due to the development and implementation of the special course and enrichment of the content of professional disciplines with an axiological component); ensuring systematic and comprehensive self-assessment of professional activity, self-knowledge concerning the acquisition of groups of professional values. It was established that the mechanism of formation of value orientations in students of higher education institution includes the stages: perception; response (subordinate, voluntary, satisfaction response); assimilation of professional values (acceptance of values, prevalence of professional values, conviction); organization of professional values (conceptualization of professional values, organization of a system of professional values); use of professional values (internalization of professional values, use of professional values in activities).

The article describes approaches to the construction of modern educational communication, the improvement of methodological and technological components of the courses organization for the improvement of the qualification of practical psychologists of pre-school establishments in accordance with the social order of the society. Outlined the institution of postgraduate pedagogical education teacher approaches to the development and application in the educational process information and communication technologies - LMS Google Classroom, as platforms of educational and network synchronous or asynchronous communication. The focus is on using LMS Google Classroom as a way of educational online interaction in the process of improving the skills of a practical psychologist and the means of organizing access to educational and scientific materials. Described its approximate application in the reproductive and creative activity of the students on the courses of professional development, professional activity of the psychologist, consultations with parents, colleagues and others. A problem of future subject teachers training in conditions of Federal State Educational Standards introduction for various steps of an education system in Russia has been considered in this paper. For teacher�s ICT competence development a training program has been offered and a course �ICT Technical Means in Subject Teacher�s Professional Activity� has been developed. The course consists of two modules: �ICT Technical Means and Their Pedagogical Opportunities� and �Network Technologies and Their Application in Educational Process�. An electronic educational and methodical complex which structure is presented in this paper, being educational and methodical maintenance of this course, has been developed for training process efficiency increase. Preparation results indicators, control�s forms and methods, allowing to define a level of trainees� knowledge and abilities have been offered for the purpose of control and assessment related to training course materials� assimilation extent on two substantial modules. It has been shown that the developed course�s educational and methodical providing allows to optimize the future subject teachers� training process in higher education institution and also in system of professional development and professional retraining of pedagogical workers for the purpose of their professional competence formation in the area of ICT technical means use in educational process.

The factors that identify the characteristics of consumer behavior in the spread of information and communication technologies and their use in all spheres of society are studied in the article. The relevance of the study is due to the acceleration of the digital economy and its spread to all spheres of society, including the transformation of consumer preferences and value orientations in purchase decisions. The purpose of the article is to determine the characteristics of consumer behavior belonging to different generations. The issue of transformation of structure and, in particular, manner of consumption in the conditions of the digital economy is studied. The analysis of the influence of socio-economic and historical preconditions on the value orientations of consumers is carried out. Within the framework of the theory of generations, the issue of selection of stable social groups (generations), their periodization, and separation of the main values of each is considered. One of the key values that determine the affiliation to society, a certain generation, and, accordingly, form a certain microeconomic model of consumer behavior - cosmopolitanism in the growing pace of information and communication technologies, the availability of the Internet resources - is studied. There are analyzed the most important features of consumer behavior in the formation and development of the digital economy, characteristic of all generations, namely vertical trust (trust in public authorities and the media) and horizontal trust (trust in information obtained from the immediate environment and social media). The influence of social networks and the environment on purchasing decisions in terms of individual generations - X and Y - is considered. The increase in the level of access to information, the range of consumer opportunities to maximize the usefulness of goods through an individual approach to supply is analyzed. The peculiarities of market transformation and its focus on consumer preferences and values, the possibilities of digital technologies to reduce transaction costs in the buying and selling process, the prerequisites for shifting consumption from long-term to short-term type are defined.

Background. Medical education is based on general and specialized knowledge in the learning process, a combination of theory and practice at a medical university and is the foundation of the medical profession. But the formation of professional value orientations of future doctors remains out of consideration. Therefore, the professional training of future doctors needs the content of medical education to be improved in order to focus on the formation of professional values. Objective. To substantiate the scientific results of the experimental study of the formation of professional value orientations of future doctors. Methods. Theoretical analysis of scientific sources in order to determine the nature, content and structure of professional values of future doctors. Results. The article analyzes the results of experimental research. It is established that a promising direction to improve the quality of training of future doctors is the formation of a system of his professional values, which reveals the value position of the individual in relation to professional activities. In our study, we identified the professional value orientations of future doctors as a system of values, value orientations, meanings and attitudes to the professional activities of doctors, forming a unique axiosphere of personality that reflects the personal, professional and social orientation of the doctor. Taking into account the specifics of the doctor's professional activity, we have developed a structure of professional value orientations of future doctors. In the process of studying the structural composition of professional value orientations of future doctors, axiological, psychological, motivational, cognitive and prognostic components are identified, each of which performs a certain function. The main functions of professional value orientations of future doctors include: worldview, normative, regulatory, communicative and professional activity. The criteria of formation of professional value orientations of future doctors in the process of professional training are determined: cognitive; personal; activity. The levels of formation of professional value orientations of future doctors are highlighted: high, medium and low. The effectiveness of the organizational and pedagogical conditions and pedagogical technology of professional value orientations’ formation of future doctors determined by us is experimentally confirmed. Conclusion. The results of the experimental study showed the effectiveness of the author's pedagogical technology and its effectiveness in the formation of professional value orientations of future doctors in the process of basic training. The formed professional value orientations of future doctors were evaluated and statistically verified. The results of the experimental test confirmed the effectiveness of the organizational and pedagogical conditions created in the educational process of the institution of higher medical education for the formation of professional values of future doctors.

The article deals with the historical and pedagogical aspect of the genesis of the formation of value orientations of student youth in the institutions of higher education of Ukraine from the XXth to the beginning of the XXI century. The preconditions for strengthening tendencies in the development of ideas and accumulation of the experience of formation of value orientations in higher education institutions of Ukraine in the XX - the beginning of the XXI century are characterized. The essence of the definition of "value orientation" is revealed. The changes that took place in the value orientations of youth in Ukraine are considered. The theoretical ideas are systematized and the experience of formation of value orientations of student youth in institutions of higher education of Ukraine (XX – the beginning of the ХХІ-st century) is generalized. the prospects of further formation of value orientations of student youth in institutions of higher education of Ukraine are substantiated. "Professional values" are considered as a complex multilevel education, a system of coordinates and relevant regulations of the process of professional activity of a specialist. It is established that the professional values of student youth embody professional responsibility, substantive saturation of pedagogical work, its moral aspect, principles and professional relations. The functions of value orientations and peculiarities of their formation in the professional training of future specialists of the institution of higher education of Ukraine are determined. It is established that the mechanism of formation of value orientations in student youth of the institution of higher education covers the stages: perception; response (subordinate, voluntary, response pleasure); assimilation of professional values acceptance of values, prevalence of professional values, conviction); organization of professional values conceptualization of professional values, organization of the system of professional values); use of professional values internalization of professional values, use of professional values in activity).

<p><em>The article analyzes the political socialization of youth as a component of general socialization, carried out under the influence of a combination of institutional and personal factors, in particular the influence of the media.</em></p><p><em>The purpose of the article is to determine the mechanisms of the influence of information and communication technologies on the political socialization of youth based on the analysis of personal and institutional factors of political socialization.</em></p><p><em>The article used a set of general scientific methods, namely: a logical analysis of scientific achievements and theoretical conclusions on the research problem; comparative method; a systematic approach that allowed revealing the integrity and interconnection of factors and mechanisms of informational impact on the process of political socialization.</em></p><p><em>It is determined that the value-normative formation of an individual occurs through the implementation of certain social mechanisms, with the help of which the socio-political roles and political activity of individuals as participants in the political process are fixed.</em></p><p><em>It is revealed that an individual interpretation of the features of cultural interaction in the process of political socialization is of particular importance in the conditions of the modern information society. Through the process of political socialization, the regulation of political practices is ensured. As a result of socialization, value-mental attitudes are consolidated, through the prism of which there is an assessment of the everyday life of the individual, and, accordingly, the perception of the political world.</em></p><p><em>In fact, building a system of social mechanisms for the influence of the media on the process of political socialization of youth is crucial because it creates the prerequisites for the further development of civil society. At the same time, the fixed social models of political practices, based on the symbolic reproduction of images and values, will ensure at the social level the correspondence of individual needs of an individual with group needs. Accordingly, there will be a reproduction (adjustment) of behavioral practices in accordance with the goals, interests and ideals of the social group that shares certain political values.</em></p><p><strong><em>Key words:</em></strong><em> mass media, informational impact, political socialization, political culture, value orientations.</em></p>

The article deals with the value orientations, attitudes, life views of modern students - representatives of Generation “Z”, for whom digital technologies are an everyday reality. The experience of working with students during class and independent work is given. The authors, based on the latest research, prove that the modern generation with its peculiarities needs new creative methods and teaching methods that will take into account the specifics of cognitive activity of modern youth, its values, needs, psychological characteristics and technical skills. It is necessary to change not only teaching and learning methods, but also the style of communication between the subjects of the educational process, the form of presentation of information, knowledge, preparation of a new type of educational and methodical literature, active use of information and communication technologies.

A growing body of psychology-based scholarship identifies emerging adulthood as a distinct, transitional stage of life and work characterized by several features, wherein relatively little is known regarding moral development. This study is part of a 3-year, longitudinal project involving recent graduates across six U.S. universities who studied journalism and media-related fields. Guided by emerging adulthood, moral psychology, and media exemplar research, this study analyzes results for 110 graduates who completed an online survey regarding their personality traits, virtuous character, moral reasoning, and ethical ideology. It constitutes the first detailed portrait of moral identity of emerging adults in media-related fields.
