scholarly journals Voice Controlled Notice Board Display with Android Application

Now-a-days notice board plays a crucial role in many institutes/organizations or in railway stations, bus stands, schools, hospitals and in many other public places. Paper notices stacked on the notice board is a time lagging, cost effective process which includes wastage of time, paper and human work. The main purpose of the notice board is used to view the information in an efficient way to the people, on the other hand to update the messages immediately is not easy on the notice board. This project, deals about an advanced Hi-Tech wireless communicated Notice Board. We are introducing a new “VoiceTotext.apk” android application software which would convert the voice to text. It works on all android platforms, but also it can work with a working internet in the mobiles or any other PC’s.

The project is an electronic notice board that is controlled by an android device and displays message on it. Traditionally, there were notice boards where any information or notice had to be stick daily. This becomes tedious and requires daily maintenance. The project overcomes this problem by introducing an electronic display notice board interfaced to an android device through Bluetooth connectivity. The Bluetooth receives the message from the android device that is sent to an Arduino. Notice board is a primary thing in any institution/organization or public utility places like bus stations, railway stations and parks. But sticking various notices day-to-day is a difficult process. The Notice board is a common display for effective mode of providing information to the people, but this is not easy for updating the messages instantly. This project deals about an advanced Hi-Tech wireless Notice Board. This system is enhanced to display the latest information through an Android application of smart phones or tablet.

Notice boards are of primary importance in any organization and in places such as bus and railway stations, when a need of for circulating notices arises it becomes tedious job. Thus an electronic notice board is an extremely efficient method of providing messages. It is difficult to update the messages at once. Thus this project focuses on development of a wireless board. This apparatus has the capability of displaying the latest messages using an Android application from a smart phone. This help susintransmitting any message with in a fraction of second eliminating any delay by simply sending a command which is much efficient compared to any other traditional method of transmitting the message. Thus the proposed technology can beof great utility in many public places such as malls or commercial buildings to enhance the security system and also increase the awareness regarding emergency situations and avoid any possible dangers

Intonation plays crucial role in news discourse, mainly: in producing utterance. Speaker has to consider the intonation of his/her utterance in sentence. In this case, speaker also manages their pitch in producing the each kind of sentences.   Principally, intonation is the way of how the pitch of the voice rises and falls when we are speaking. Intonation helps or serves to determine the meaning of utterances. The utterance will be meaningless without intonation. The phenomenon encourages the writer to conduct this research on intonation in news discourse. This research emphasizes on how intonation in news discourse produced by students. This research employs descriptive qualitative research. The data of this research is spoken monologue. The data are obtained through recording the subjects while they are reading. The subjects use a microphone and laptop in recording process. The recording process applies adobe audition 3.0. In term, students’ speech production is analyzed through pitch tracks and spectrograms by using speech analyzer. Based on the findings, students produce two intonation patterns in news discourse: rising intonation pattern and falling intonation pattern. On the other hand, students use certain intonation pattern to declare information (statement/declarative sentence). Besides, there are two factors influencing production of certain intonation pattern by students in news discourse, namely: first language and knowledge

General linguistics study (phonology, morphology, grammar, syntax, and semantics), as for our study, it dealt with that as a whole; Because we believe that it is useless to separate it in order to uncover the rhetoric of the text, starting with the effect of the sounds in the voice and rhythm in terms of their numbers, qualities, letters exits, and phonemic syllables, within the effect of abstract morphological formulas and augmenting their various connotations in harmony with the grammatical structures and methods, and ending with the meaning of used expressions instead of their synonyms in which the sounds and formulas change, Through the percentage of the qualities of the sounds and phonemes, and we showed their effect on the meaning and context, to come out with an unquestionable result: Every sound, every word, every form, and every combination was not arbitrarily mentioned in the surah. Because we found that none of them did not contradict the other, but supported it and increased its strength, and it is nice for the meaning to be drawn sometimes in the form of the mouth when uttering the sound, as in the whispered voice of (Seen) that is repetitively repeated in the breaks of the verses, it is a voice that a person cannot utter while he is open-mouthed Its repetition in the surah is in harmony with the whispered whispers with which the people of crimes and intrigues are afraid, and the low percentage of the strong voices expresses the removal of distress, worry and distress, and the extension of the wav sound in the word (I seek refuge) is proportional to the shape of the mouth when blowing after seeking refuge. As for the high or low percentage of phonemic syllables in harmony with meaning and context, it appears, for example, in the fourth and fifth verses, as for the decrease in the percentage of the open syllable in the fourth verse ("From the evil of the whisperer who withdraws) to (0%). So, it harmonizes with the lack of rapid movement, and depicts the whisperer with its dysfunction and its stillness with its movement, because the rapid movement does not correspond to the whisperer, this is supported purely by the use of the form of exaggeration (active), which depicts the exaggeration of the obsessive chicks. On the other hand, we see the increase in movement and its speed, with the increase in the percentage of open syllables in the fifth verse (Who whispers in the breasts of mankind) to (41.6%) with the use of the verb waswasah in the present tense that used to show repetition, so the percentage of open syllables in both short and long forms increased to (66.6%) and that is the highest proportion of these two sections in the surah. Because this movement is what is excluded from it.

The Moroccan diplomacy gave Palestine a significant importance, and they paid more attention to it since Islam entered Morocco by Otba Bin Nafeh in 670 A.C.. The importance of Palestine to the Moroccan diplomacy flows from the position of Jerusalem in Islam. The Moroccan diplomacy along with The other countries of the Arab world played a crucial role in the Palestinian-Israeli conflict because the Palestinian issue was a priority on the top of the agenda of the world diplomacy.  In this study , the researcher discusses the support the Moroccans gave to the Palestinian issue before and after independence. The Palestinian issue was only considered as an Arab issue, it was also considered as a national Moroccan issue adopted by both the people and the politicians. The Moroccan support reached its peak when the Moroccan diplomacy admitted P.L.O as the legitimate and the only representative of the Palestinians in 1974.

AbstractThis article focuses on the opportunities and challenges of introducing choice-based models of social services. Research has found that these models often provide better outcomes and are cost-effective, but the pace of their introduction is generally slow. There are often very deeply held assumptions about the capacity of the people using these services and the potential for change within the existing social service system. Using institutional and social movement theory, the authors seek to explain these barriers to change. Drawing on the experience of supporting the national roll-out of choice-based models in Ireland, the authors propose a number of strategies to accelerate the introduction of these types of models into social services. The authors find that one of the key ways to accelerate reform and reduce transition costs is design processes which have the voice of service users at the centre of the reform process.

Deaf and blind people find very difficult to communicate to other people. The latest technological development helps the people having disabilities particularly deaf and blind people to communicate to other people. These people can able to communicate with the help of their sense of touch. So the advance sensors integrating with the recent technology assists the people with disability for communicating with the other people. In this paper Glove based sensors combined with the Artificial Intelligence is demonstrated so that the deaf and blind people can communicate to other people in a big conference or any public places. It is also proved that the device developed is a low cost wearable device which is affordable to such a weaker section of people having disabilities. Raspberry-pi and mobile device are cantered around the sensors to process and communicate. With the help of the device demonstrated in this paper people with disabilities specially deaf and blind can involve freely in day to day regular activities.

One of the most original and significant texts to have come out of Europe in the past generation is Dimitris Lyacos’ poetictrilogy, Poena Damni. I call it “poetic” because there is no word that quite describes a work that moves alternately betweenpoetry, prose, and drama, and that turns each like a prism in a quest for meaning that yields no final stability but only a“further horizon of pain” (The First Death, Section X).As the above suggests, the text offers us a shifting series of scenes and perspectives, somewhere between a journey and atravail. There is an implicit narrative voice, but no narrative, that shifts abruptly from first to third person, a thread ofconsciousness that weaves in and out of dream and waking, fantasy and vision, confronting us at every turn with that whichboth forces and repels our sight. You know there is a narrative, because something in the voice compels you to continue; yousimply do not know what is being told. You are simply within the framework of a temporality in its most radical sense.Dimitris Lyacos was born in Athens in 1966, and studied law and philosophy. It was conceived back to front, with its“last” part, The First Death, written and published first, and the other segments proceeding backwards toward an origin thatinstates the original wound of the poem’s birth. Lyacos has revised it extensively over the course of some thirty years, retracting an earlier version of what is now With the People From the Bridge that was originally published as Nyctivoe andheavily revising the text called Z213: EXIT. The suggestion, I think, is clear: the poem remains open, a circularity thatdeflects all progression, an ourobouros that never meets its own tail.

Ultrasonic thickness gauges are easy to operate and reliable, and can be used to measure a wide range of thicknesses and inspect all engineering materials. Supplementing the simple ultrasonic thickness gauges that present results in either a digital readout or as an A-scan with systems that enable correlating the measured values to their positions on the inspected surface to produce a two-dimensional (2D) thickness representation can extend their benefits and provide a cost-effective alternative to expensive advanced C-scan machines. In previous work, the authors introduced a system for the positioning and mapping of the values measured by the ultrasonic thickness gauges and flaw detectors (Tesfaye et al. 2019). The system is an alternative to the systems that use mechanical scanners, encoders, and sophisticated UT machines. It used a camera to record the probe’s movement and a projected laser grid obtained by a laser pattern generator to locate the probe on the inspected surface. In this paper, a novel system is proposed to be applied to flat surfaces, in addition to overcoming the other limitations posed due to the use of the laser projection. The proposed system uses two video cameras, one to monitor the probe’s movement on the inspected surface and the other to capture the corresponding digital readout of the thickness gauge. The acquired images of the probe’s position and thickness gauge readout are processed to plot the measured data in a 2D color-coded map. The system is meant to be simpler and more effective than the previous development.

There are two most inevitable issues on national literature, in this case Indonesian literature. First is the translation and the second is the standard of world literature. Can one speak for the other as a representative? Why is this representation matter? Does translation embody the voice of the represented? Without translation Indonesian literature cannot gain its recognition in world literature, yet, translation conveys the voice of other. In the case of production, publication, or distribution of Indonesian Literature to the world, translation works can be very beneficial. The position of Indonesian literature is as a part of world literature. The concept that the Western world should be the one who represent the subaltern can be overcome as long as the subaltern performs as the active speaker. If the subaltern remains silent then it means it allows the “representation” by the Western.
