A developed information community assumes a broad and active use of information and communication technologies (ICT) in the education system, which is due to a number of factors that accompany the process of social development. One of the first to highlight is the introduction of information and communication technologies in education in order to accelerate the transfer of knowledge and experience accumulated by mankind from generation to generation, and from person to person. The second factor to be called is the possibility of improving the quality of education in the process of mastering information and communication technologies, which allows a person to more successfully adapt to what is happening around, i.e. to social changes. The third factor is the active and fairly effective implementation of information and communication technologies in the education system, which is a guarantee of updating the education system in accordance with the needs of modern society. This paper discusses the use of information and communication technologies in the preparation of future bachelors-designers as one of the organizational forms of innovative type teaching at a university, based on modern achievements of the psychological and pedagogical sciences, educational materials of a new generation and widespread use of electronic educational resources. The variety of diverse actions performed by a designer requires their systematization by means of information and communication technologies and bringing them into line with the competencies mastered in the learning process. Through the introduction of computer technologies in the design education system and mastering ArchiCad and Artlantis Render programs by a student going improvement of his/her professional skills as future experts in the field of design, and accordingly, increasing their competitiveness in the labour market. At the same time, the process of forming the creative activity of future designers requires, first of all, the development of their spatial and design thinking; therefore, when teaching a teacher, it is necessary to make the process of mastering information and communication technologies proportionate to the process of developing student's intellectual characteristics

A characteristic of modern society in the last few decades is the increasingly powerful exchange and transfer of knowledge through information technologies that offer tools for the production, creation, collection, organization, use and storage of knowledge and information. The research was conducted among students of the International University of Novi Pazar, with indicators that indicate the degree of understanding and use of computers and the development of information literacy, after which young people should understand and rationally use information and communication technologies. Students provided answers to questions such as: how to access information and how to evaluate information in a youth support process related to research processes that enable young people to find, download and make relevance assessments, Everyday use of computer-aided technologies by young people also generates larger amounts of information that are difficult to manage. So, young people have a large amount of important information that needs to be recognized on the one hand, and understood on the other, and finally situated in a harmonious relationship, so for them, in computer and IT terms, complex tasks are set, such as how to choose the right technology and how to manage that information. Information management refers, among other things, to the ability of young people to take responsibility, fundamentally for the process of planning, organizing, coordinating and controlling.

The accumulated human knowledge becomes available in electronic format. Universal access to the global network is changing modern methods of teaching, education, and management. Learners are ready to use network technologies quite consciously and intuitively. The aim of the study is to identify and design the links between the development of modern society and the higher education system via information and communication technologies. The novelty of the study lies in the identification of an informative-conscious approach in the higher education system as an independent one. The study was conducted on the basis of the application of theoretical research methods. The methodological basis of the study was conceptual approach and an appeal to the origins of modern education informatization. In the field of the conducted research, aimed at the social-philosophical analysis of pedagogical activities and education, the close causality of the development of education from the development of the modern society informatization was educed. In the higher education system was individualized informative-conscious approach, that is based on the field of information and communication technologies and has the basis of an informative identity.

This paper aims at discussing the potentials of bottom-up design practices in relation to the latest developments in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) by making an in-depth review of inaugural cases. The first part of the study involves a literature study and the elaboration of basic strategies from the case study. The second part reframes the existing ICT tools and strategies and elaborates on their potentials to support the modes of participation performed in these cases. As a result, by distilling the created knowledge, the study reveals the potentials of novel modes of ICT-enabled design participation which exploit a set of collective action tools to support sustainable ways of self-organization and bottom-up design. The final part explains the relevance of these with solid examples and presents a hypothetical case for future implementation. The paper concludes with a brief reflection on the implications of the findings for the future of architectural design education.

The modernization of higher education is mandatory condition for the current stage of Russian society development and the ensuring of the Russian economy competitiveness. One of the priority issues of modernization is the strengthening of the significance of self-students studying. This is due primarily to the considerable reduction in the number of classroom sessions and the increase in hours provided for self-students studying. Self-studying becomes the basis for the professional development of a bachelor, encourage his cognitive interests, promotes the essential objectives of the training, that is, the formation of communicative and professional competences. The nature of the relationship between the teacher and the bachelor alters within the framework of competence-oriented education. The teacher, released from the mere transfer of knowledge, gets freedom in choosing forms of interaction or rather in choosing the methods used in such field of studying as “Foreign Language”. Classical teaching methods are replaced with new ones. The emergence of information and communication technologies led to their rapid introduction into the educational process. The organization of self-students studying through the use of information and communication technologies is of great interest to many educational specialists. The specific nature of information and communication technologies lies in the creation in the educational process of various kinds of relations and conditions of real life, requiring from bachelors not only the knowledge of work-related material, but also their familiarization with a given image, a holistic immersion in the professional environment. The use of simulation technology facilitates the formation of cognitive-search activity of bachelors, causes incentive for learning a foreign language.

The paper analyzes up-to-date distance learning technologies used in European education system for ensuring overall organization of the educational process during the COVID-19 pandemic. Quarantine conditions have become a catalyst for development and practical testing of virtual learning tools and innovative pedagogical technologies, and application of the experience with them is a necessity of today and a strategy for the future. The article is focused on distance learning technologies in higher education. Institutions of England, Germany and France are chosen for the study due to their banner quality of educational service, like the University of Oxford, for example. The basis for successful conduct of all types of classes is employment of universities’ own specialized learning platforms. The learning model remains more similar to the traditional one. The main role continues to belong to communication between qualified teachers and students through various interactive web applications, while digital technologies create space for such interaction, filling it with learning materials. Students get access to all educational services using a single password to the university network. At the same time, some learning materials are available with open access, video lectures and podcasts are popular. Unlike other countries, education in Germany is governed by strict principles of information and data protection. In the contrary, in France many courses have been made available on network, and the education system has instantly adapted to work in virtual mode through the developed system of national distance learning platforms and the massive open online courses. The result of effective distance learning organization in Europe during the pandemic is that the introduction of digital technologies and transition to more flexible learning models become the education strategy at the state level, while pedagogy becomes an area of advanced development of information and communication technologies. Today's world is aptly described as an information age, driven primarily by Information and Communication Technologies. This chapter stresses the idea that ICT usage in media education will not only improve the capacity of the students to learn but also improve the capacity of the facilitators. Although there are a number of factors that affect the integration of technology in learning, the chapter advocates that against the benefit of ICT education proactive steps need to be taken to redress the low trend if the graduates must compete with others, particularly those with overseas qualifications and other professionals in today's globalised and evanescent technological world.

With the advancement and increasing adoption of information and communication technologies, 3D virtual worlds, being a part of these revolutionary forces, have the potential to make a major contribution to design education as a new teaching and learning environment. Considering this changing trend, we have been employing 3D virtual worlds in the design curriculum over the past decade. To critically understand the impact of the technologies on design education, this chapter explores and demonstrates three different assessment methods of 3D virtual worlds in design education, through three case studies. The chapter also concludes with insights into the applications of virtual environments in collaborative design teaching.

Processes of IT development in modern society and closely related processes of IT development in all forms of educational activities are characterized by the process of improvement and mass distribution of up-to-date information and communication technologies (ICT). Similar technologies are used extensively for communication and collaboration between the teacher and the student in modern open and distance learning. A modern teacher must not only have knowledge of ICT but also must be an expert on their application in his/her professional activity. In this case, application of such technology is closely related to distance learning and e-learning. In this paper, we intend to simulate and show outcomes of the development of e-learning support systems on the example of Tomsk State Pedagogical University (TSPU).
