Method implementation in web-based work tools loan application development is important in assessing the success of the application whether it is running according to plan and has met user requirement. This research will provide an overview of the prototype method in web-based work tools loan application development. The prototype is made with the aim of providing a common perception and initial comprehension from the system will be developed, so that there will be good communication between developer with users. The application to be made web-based with using Laravel framework. The use of Laravel is expected to make it easier to create web-based work tools loan application, so that quality improvement and work tools management be better.

Nowadays, the application of information systems can be applied in many fields, one of which is to support the process of adopting dog as a pet. The purpose of this research therefore is to develop an integrated information system that can be used to facilitate the process of adopting dogs. The developed information system which is web-based has several main functions, such as searching for dogs, managing adoption requests, monitoring dogs that have been adopted, and periodically managing user reports. The proposed system was developed using Rapid Application Development method, PHP programming language, Code Igniter frameworks, and MySQL database. Meanwhile, the system was tested using the black box testing method.

Abstract - PT. S.A.M.B (Sarana Abadi Makmur Bersama) is a distributor and logistics company engaged in Modern Trade (MT) for fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) in Jabodetabek (Jakarta, Bogor, Depok, Tangerang, Bekasi). In addition to distribution, SAMB also provides services for companies seeking logistics and transportation services for modern trade within the designated area. The inventory design system is one of the most important factors in meeting the needs of consumers in a timely and demanding manner. There are still many companies that use desktop applications especially on PT. Sarana Abadi Makmur Bersama. Employees often complain about the performance of the used desktop app. Not all desktop applications can run on all operating systems, while web applications can run in all operating systems as long as there is a browser and an internet connection, it makes it more practical. With web-based asset inventory data item can be used relatively fast, relatively accurate, and relatively more accurate data. . Perancangan sistem inventory menjadi salah satu faktor yang paling penting dalam memenuhi kebutuhan konsumen dalam waktu yang tepat dan sesuai dengan permintaan. Masih banyak perusahaan-perusahaan yang menggunakan aplikasi desktop terutama pada PT. Sarana Abadi Makmur Bersama. Para karyawan sering mengeluhkan kinerja dari aplikasi desktop yang dipakai. Tidak semua aplikasi desktop dapat berjalan di semua Sistem Operasi, sedangkan aplikasi web dapat berjalan disemua Sistem Operasi selama ada browser dan koneksi internet, itu membuatnya lebih praktis. Dengan berbasis web, data inventori asset barang dapat digunakan relatif cepat, relatif tepat, dan relatif data lebih akurat. . Information system is one of the most important business supports in organizations. Web-based applications become an appropriate solution to overcome the dynamically changing environment among different units in an organization. Model-View-Controller (MVC) is a well-known design pattern in web-based application development due to the separation of an application into several parts, hence it is easy to reuse and maintain. However, such design pattern requires improvements since the information system handles business process choreography and integration between application. Therefore, modifying the interaction of object of class in a design pattern become a challenging problem. In this paper, an application framework based on Model-CollectionService-Controller-Presenter (MCCP) design pattern, which is a modification of an MVC, was proposed. The proposed framework allows multiple different applications to run and provides inter-application data exchange mechanisms to improve the data communication process between applications. Several performance comparisons with another popular web application framework are also presented.

With the establishment of an online sales system web-based  is expected to provide ease of transaction as well as a means of effective and efficient promotion with a wide range of markets and provide satisfaction to customers thereby increasing profits for the company. Design, code creation, testing and support. by using a modeling tool such as a unified Modeling Language (UML), Entity Relationship Diagram (ERD) and data collection techniques by observation, and interviews. While the database application development tools using MySQL and PHPMyAdmin and PHP programming language, Adobe Dreamweaver CS6 text editor. This application provides product information and generate reports including product reports and sales reports.

Neonatal care is an extremely data-intensive activity. Physiological monitoring equipment is used extensively along with web-based information tools and knowledge sources. Merging data from multiple sources adds value to this data collection. Neonatal databases assist with collecting, displaying, and analyzing data from a number of sources. Although the construction of such databases can be difficult, it can provide helpful support to clinical practice including surveillance of infectious diseases and even medical error. Along with recording outcomes, such systems are extremely useful for the support of audit and quality improvement as well as research. Electronic information sources are often helpful in education and communication with parents and others, both within the unit and at a distance. Systems are beginning to be used to help with decision making – for example in the case of weaning neonates from ventilators, and this work is likely to become more important in the future.

Mobile technologies are rapidly changing our lives with increasing numbers of services supported by mobile devices, including Web-based learning applications, providing opportunities for people to study anytime and anywhere. However, using Web-based mobile applications to present learning resources is a challenge for developers because the performance of the mobile Internet over GPRS networks is often unacceptably slow. A new Web development model, Ajax, may help to address this problem. Ajax (asynchronous JavaScript and XML), is an approach to Web application development that uses client-side scripting to reduce traffic between client and server and provide a seamless user application experience. In this chapter, we address the question of whether mobile Ajax provides measurable performance advantages over non-Ajax mobile learning applications. An empirical study was undertaken to measure mobile learning application performance over a GPRS network, comparing an Ajax application and an active server pages (ASP) application with identical functionality. Our results suggest that mobile Ajax can reduce the bandwidth requirement by around 70 percent, and cut the server’s response time in half. In addition, these performance improvements were noticed by users in our small group usability test.

Abstract Background Understanding quality improvement (QI) is an important skill for physicians, yet educational interventions focused on teaching QI to residents are relatively rare. Web-based training may be an effective teaching tool in time-limited and expertise-limited settings. Intervention We developed a web-based curriculum in QI and evaluated its effectiveness. Methods During the 2011–2012 academic year, we enrolled 53 first-year internal medicine residents to complete the online training. Residents were provided an average of 6 hours of protected time during a 1-month geriatrics rotation to sequentially complete 8 online modules on QI. A pre-post design was used to measure changes in knowledge of the QI principles and self-assessed competence in the objectives of the course. Results Of the residents, 72% percent (37 of 51) completed all of the modules and pretests and posttests. Immediate pre-post knowledge improved from 6 to 8.5 for a total score of 15 (P < .001) and pre-post self-assessed competence in QI principles on paired t test analysis improved from 1.7 to 2.7 on a scale of 5 for residents who completed all of the components of the course. Conclusions Web-based training of QI in this study was comparable to other existing non–web-based curricula in improving learner confidence and knowledge in QI principles. Web-based training can be an efficient and effective mode of content delivery.
