To improve on our previously proposed but problem-plagued innovation for generating animated and illustrated Quick Response (QR) codes, this paper proposes a method which formulates the animated QR code generation problem as an optimization problem rather than as a set of still QR code decoration problems. The proposed method also uses optimization operators designed for this problem and quality evaluation to maintain natural, smooth movement. Experiments demonstrate that the proposed method can generate animated QR codes involve a maximum of eight illustrations moving inside the code which maintaining decoding feasibility and smooth illustration movement.<FONT color="red" size="3">Erratum<br /></FONT> <FONT color="red" size="2">Due to a wrong manipulation during the correction of the proofs of the above paper, the running head title (short title) was incorrect. Now a days the security dangers in the online ex-changes, ATM money withdrawals’ have expanded on a substan-tial scale. Individuals in the country zone are as yet ignorant of these dangers are as yet encountering many loses. Individuals unconscious of these dangers don't perceive that sharing their ATM PIN number, yet additionally sharing their credit/debit card number and CCV can likewise prompt the getting to of financial balance without their insight. In this way, in this proposed framework it is said that the credit/debit card number and CCV are being supplanted with dynamically produced QR codes. This QR code that is created can't be reproduced or hacked as effec-tively as the current framework. In the present framework OTP is sent to authenticate our transactions. This OTP is additionally added with Bio-metric confirmation like unique finger-print, iris information. This provides an additionally improved verification amid all the ATM exchanges. The execution on the above framework is basic as all the financial accounts are now linked with Aadhar card. And this can be implementing the QR code scanner alongside unique finger-print scanner and iris scanner in later stages. This never enables the unapproved clients to access or make any installments without the respective of the account holders. This expands the security level and furthermore enables the client to the exchange cash all the more securely. The pro-posed framework improves the security in the exchanges in our everyday life as no ATM withdrawal or Deposit should be possi-ble without the QR code and the Account holder themselves.

Recently, hackers intend to reproduce malicious links utilizing several ways to mislead users. They try to control victims’ machines or get their data remotely by gaining access to private information they use via cyberspace. QR codes are two-dimensional barcodes with the capacity to encode various data types and can be viewed by digital devices, such as smartphones. However, there is no approved protocol in QR code generation; therefore, QR codes might be exposed to several questionable attacks. QR code attacks might be perpetrated using barcodes, and there are some security countermeasures. Some of these solutions are restricted to malicious link detection techniques with knowledge of cryptographic methods. Therefore, this study aims to detect malicious links embedded in 1D (linear) and 2D (QR) codes. A cybercrime attack was proposed based on barcode counterfeiting that can be used to perform online attacks. A dataset of 100000 malicious and benign URLs was created via several resources, and their lexical features were obtained. Analyses were conducted to illustrate how different features and users deal with online barcode content. Several artificial intelligence models were implemented. A decision tree classifier was identified as the most suitable model for identifying malicious URLs. Our outcomes suggested that a secure artificial intelligence barcode scanner (BarAI) is recommended to detect malicious barcode links with an accuracy of 90.243%.

Employee attendance is an administrative process that is carried out every day. Use of a manual system for events prone to damage or loss. Not to mention employees who forget attendance records, which will cause delays in the flow of employee attendance information. As a solution to the existing problems is by designing an application to make presence using Android-based QR Code Scanning and Location-Based Services (LBS). QR Code technology is very efficient because the code can be read in a very short time using a smartphone while the Location Based Service (LBS) is to prevent employees from making presence outside the area determined by the company. The design of this application produces a paperless system and prevents manipulation of attendance data because in this application it is implemented that one employee only asks for one device ID or smartphone IMEI

This work is aimed at adding an extra layer of security to the login process of an electronic examination system as security has been identified as one of the critical success factors in the management of such exams. It proposes to secure the login process of an e-exam system through authentication and encryption to control access and avoid impersonation. A model of the e-exam system with Quick Response (QR) code generation capability was designed where a student’s matriculation number is accepted as input which is then converted into a two-dimensional bar code using a QR generator. Outputs from the QR code generator are then secured by encryption using MD5 and SHA-224 encryption algorithms. MD5 algorithm produces a 32-bit hash value which is further encrypted using SHA-224 that produces a resulting 56-bit hash value that is then saved in the password column of the user table in the database. This research resulted in a secure and web-based electronic examination authentication system implemented and tested on a client-server architecture. Performance evaluation of the developed system revealed that it is fast and effective, capable of  authenticating students in an average of 0.624 seconds when the smartphone flashlight is off, and 0.318 seconds with flashlight turned on and consequently, resistant to brute force attacks. This paper fulfils an identified need to develop an electronic exam system that not only secures the question bank but equally ensures the security of the login process as well as the login details using a combination of two security techniques.
