Tujuan dari kegitan ini adalah untuk pengenalan dan pengembangan rancangan pembelajaran STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) dalam meningkatkan Kompetensi Guru Kimia SMA dan SMK di Kota Madiun. Mitra dalam kegitan ini adalah guru kimia yang tergabung dalam MGMP kimia SMA dan SMK di Kota Madiun. Kegiatan diikuti oleh 21 orang guru. Metode dalam kegitan ini adalah trasfer of knowledge melalui kegitan workshop. Hasil kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini adalah: (1) mampu mencari solusi atas permasalahan yang dihadapi guru kimia di Kota Madiun, ditunjukkan oleh peningkatan capaian pemahaman melalui diklat sebesar 26,36% (dilihat dari tes awal dan tes akhir), dan (2) Pemahaman guru terhadap STEM sebesar 83,81%. Harapan peserta dan mitra kolaborasi (MGMP Kimia Kota Madiun), kegiatan semacam ini dapat secara berkesinambungan, terutama menyusun dan mengembangkan Desain Pembelajaran Berbasis STEM pada materi kimia di Sekolah Menengah dan implementasi pembelajarannya.Introduction to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) and the Development of Learning Designs to Pioneering Chemistry Learning with the Credit System in Madiun CityAbstractThe purpose of this activity is to introduce and develop STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) learning designs in improving the Competence of High School and Vocational School Chemistry Teachers in Madiun City. Partners in this activity are chemistry teachers who are members of the High School and Vocational High School Chemistry MGMP in Madiun City. The activity was attended by 21 teachers. The method in this activity is the transfer of knowledge through workshop activities. The results of this community service activity are: (1) being able to find solutions to problems faced by chemistry teachers in Madiun City, indicated by an increase in understanding achievement through training by 26.36% (seen from the initial test and final test), and (2) Teachers' understanding of STEM was 83.81%. The hope of the participants and collaboration partners (MGMP Kimia Kota Madiun), this kind of activity can be sustainable, especially compiling and developing STEM-Based Learning Designs on chemistry materials in secondary schools and the implementation of learning.

AbstrakKegiatan Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat ini dilaksanakan di SMK Negeri 7 Malang. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan untuk memberikan kontribusi kepada mitra dalam rangka pengembangan kualitas pendidikan dan pengajaran praktikum. Tujuan dari kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk mengenalkan media pembelajaran kimia menggunakan video tutorial tentang penggunaan test kit kadmium yang menarik bagi guru SMK Negeri 7 Malang, memanfaatkan teknologi multimedia berbasis aplikasi powtoon dalam proses pembelajaran praktikum bagi guru SMK Negeri 7 Malang, meningkatkan minat dan ketrampilan para siswa SMK Negeri 7 Malang pada praktkum kimia analisis. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dengan melibatkan guru Kimia SMK Negeri 7 Malang. Luaran yang dihasilkan dari kegiatan ini adalah media pembelajaran praktek kimia analisis dalam bentuk video tutorial test kit kadmium yang berisi tentang bahaya kadmium, cara penggunaan test kit berbasis aplikasi powtoon. Kata kunci: Kadmium, testkit, kimia, video  Introduction of Video of Test Kit Cadmium as a Chemistry Learning Media for Teachers of Publics Vocational High School 7 MalangAbstractThe Community Service Activity was held at Public Vocational High School 7 Malang (SMKN 7 Malang). The purpose of this service is to introduce chemistry learning media using tutorial videos with using an attractive cadmium test kit for teachers of Public Vocational High School 7 Malang, utilizing powtoon-based multimedia technology in the practical learning process for teachers of Vocational High School 7 Malang, increasing the interests and skills for students of Vocational High School 7 Malang in analytical chemistry practice. This activity was carried out by involving chemistry teachers from SMKN 7 Malang. This study aims to describe the profile of the implementation of mathematics learning in the class, the challenges that the teachers did, and the efforts which did is to overcome the challenges in the credit semester system in mathematics learning activities. The research subjects are the students and mathematics teachers of X class in SMA 1 Jember. Data collection methods used documentation, observation, and interview. Based on the results of research that can be proven by mathematical learning in the implementation of the Credit Semester System described based on learning planning, learning activities, and the authentic answer. The mathematics teacher make a preparation by compiling lesson plans that guided by the 2013 Curriculum RPP and compiling the UKBM that adapted to appropriate scientific indicators. In the implementation of learning, the teacher carries out learning activities by applying scientific request. The assessment also adjusted to the 2013 Curriculum indicators. The teacher's assessment consisted of the preparation of the Credit Semester System, students' readiness, and conversation. Efforts which did is to overcome these challenges are by conducting socialization and MGMP as well as providing motivation and stimulus to students while conducting learning activities.

In high school, chemistry learning there are redox and electrochemistry topics that equip students knowledge about the development of science and technology. Redox and electrochemistry learning topics will be more effective and efficient if students learn independently through learning materials developed by the educator so that students master the competencies that have been determined. In addition, educators are required to be skilled in the use of 21st century media and technology, such as learning materials that are packaged in e-books. So far, learning materials that have not been integrated into the Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics-Project Based Leaning (STEM-PjBL) learning model have not been developed. At present, STEM-PjBL research is a trending topic. The purpose of this study was to develop and determine the feasibility of flipbook teaching materials on redox and electrochemistry materials based on the STEM-PjBL approach assisted with learning videos. The development method used in this study is the Brog and Gall development model which is limited to five stages. The result of this research and development is a product in the form of learning materials which refers to the syllabus of the 2013 curriculum. This product is the result of the validation of a chemist (lecturer) and two chemistry teachers on lesson material learning. The results of validation are 92.71% and 92.78% respectively, which means that the product produced is very feasible. Readability test conducted on 30 students of SMAN 3 Sidoarjo obtained an average percentage of eligibility of 98.30% with very feasible criteria. So, the development of this flipbook has fulfilled the needs and high usage feasibility. AbstrakPada pembelajaran Kimia SMA, terdapat materi pelajaran redoks dan elektrokimia yang ditujukan untuk membekali siswa dengan pengetahuan tentang perkembangan sains dan teknologi. Pembelajaran materi redoks dan elektrokimia akan lebih efektif dan efisien jika siswa belajar mandiri melalui bahan belajar yang dikembangkan sendiri oleh pendidik agar siswa menguasai kompetensi yang telah ditentukan. Selain itu, pendidik dituntut juga untuk terampil dalam penggunaan media dan teknologi abad 21 ini, seperti bahan belajar yang dikemas dalam bentuk e-book. Selama ini, belum dikembangkan bahan belajar yang terintegrasi ke dalam model pembelajaran Science Technology Engineering and Mathematics-Project Based Leaning (STEM-PjBL). Saat ini, penelitian STEM-PjBL menjadi trending topic. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengembangkan dan mengetahui kelayakan bahan ajar flipbook pada materi redoks dan elektrokimia berbasis pendekatan STEM-PjBL berbantuan video pembelajaran. Metode pengembangan yang digunakan di dalam penelitian ini adalah model pengembangan Brog dan Gall yang terbatas sampai lima tahap. Hasil dari penelitian dan pengembangan ini adalah sebuah produk yang berupa bahan belajar yang mengacu pada silabus Kurikulum 2013. Produk ini merupakan hasil validasi seorang ahli kimia (dosen) dan dua orang guru kimia terhadap bahan belajar RPP. Hasil validasi secara berturut-turut menunjukkan persentase 92,71% dan 92,78% yang berarti produk yang dihasilkan sangat layak. Uji coba keterbacaan produk yang dilakukan terhadap 30 siswa SMAN 3 Sidoarjo diperoleh rata-rata persentase kelayakan sebesar 98,30% dengan kriteria sangat layak.  Jadi, pengembangan bahan belajar flipbook ini telah memenuhi kebutuhan dan kelayakan pemakaian yang tinggi.

Mathematics course in vocational high school education is significant worldwide to equip vocational students with the technical and personal skills that are required for the effective workforce as discussed in the context of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education. The present research sets out to investigate 20 Turkish maths teachers’ belief and instructional practices through comparing vocational students’ perceptions for mathematics instruction and the researcher’s observation in a state vocational high school, which is under- researched. 20 maths teachers and 161 students participated in this longitudinal study (n=181). Mixed methods were used, and three types of data were collected as follows: questionnaires, interviews and observation for triangulation of data and methods t for the reliability and validity of the study. The findings indicated that maths teachers’ belief and practices were not consistent when compared with the questionnaire and interview data collected from vocational students, and also observation carried out by the researcher.Keywords: mathematics education, vocational high school, vocational students, beliefs and practices

This research aimed at seeing the appropriateness of the instructional media Power Point based.  The early stage conducted was seeing the basic competence that needed the instructional media adapted to the syllabus of Vocational High School of Pharmacy Pekanbaru.  The material was Adsorption material that was on the basic competence of 1.2, it was about understanding the adsorption process.  After adjusting the material, applied research of biosorption of Cd2+ metal ion using Kecombrangtrunk on various pH 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 that was analyzed by AAS was conducted.  The optimum pH obtained was on pH 5 with 80.73% adsorption.  The next step was preparing the instructional media Power Point based that was assessed by material and media experts.  The result of material expert assessment showed their strong agreements and there was no revision with 82% percentage.  The next step was testing 4 Chemistry teachers at Vocational High School of Pharmacy Pekanbaru.  It showed the agreement and no revision with 79.75% percentage.  It meant that the chemistry instructional media Power Point based could be a learning resource.Keywords:      Learning Resources, Instructional Media Power Point Based, Kecombrang,Cadmium, Adsorption.
