       Land-use change forest conversion and poor land management have damaged forest ecosystem. It is automatically disturbing the components in the forest ecosystem, among other soil arthropods. Therefore, environmental friendly land management system is required. One such system is Sengon-based Agroforestry with Porang Cultivation. The objective of research is (1) to understand the structure and function of soil arthropods in the Porang and non-Porang lands; Research is conducted at KPH Saradan, Madiun Regency. Two locations are chosen, Agroforestry land with Porang cultivation and non-Porang Agroforestry land. Method of research is observational survey. Sampling technique toward Arthropod is Pitfall Trap. Result of research indicates that the diversity of soil Arthropods family in the Porang land is counted to 27 families, while in the non-Porang land, 30 families of soil Arthropods are estimated. Shannon-Wienner Diversity Index in the non-Porang land is in low category with H>1 (1.32), while the diversity index in the Porang land is in very low category with H<1 (0.83). Bray-Curtis Index, which is measuring the similarity of two compositions of land community in the Porang and non-Porang lands, is counted to 0.91, submitting to the category of not different. The community of land Arthropods in the Porang land plays some roles such as soil decomposer (57 %), litter transformer (22%), and predator (21%). The roles of litter transformer and predator have similar rate (26 %).

<p><em>The purpose of this study was to determine the diversity of soil insect orders in the reclamation area of former limestone quarries in the top soil type, spoil and reject product used in the media for land reclamation processes. This research sampling technique uses a pitfall trap tool. This study used descriptive quantitative data analysis using the Shannon-Wiener diversity index, Simpson dominance index, Pielou species evenness index, and index of Morisista-Horn habitat similarity. Based on the research that has been done it can be concluded that the reclamation land in 2010 with the dominant type of dust has a low diversity category and a high dominance category with the discovery of 4 orders. The reclaimed land in 2014 with the dominant clay type soil has a moderate diversity category and a low dominance category with 7 orders found. Whereas the reclamation land in 2016 with the dominant type of sand has a low diversity category and a high dominance category with the discovery of 8 orders. The spread of species in all three locations was categorized evenly and between locations did not have the same community. </em></p>

Soil organisms are an integral part of agricultural ecosystems and are essential for the maintenance of healthy productive soils. Little is known about soil arthropods assemblages in shifting cultivation system. Therefore, we compared the diversity of soil macroarthropods in shifting cultivation (EXPTL) system and its adjacent natural forest (CTRL) ecosystem in Mizoram, northeast India and assessed the impact of shifting cultivation on the diversity. The study was conducted from 2013 to 2015, and the period was divided as pre-cultivation, cultivation and post-cultivation phases. Traditional shifting cultivation was practised in EXPTL site in the year 2014. Sampling was done by handpicking and digging from a quadrat (25×25×30 cm) located at least 10 m apart at monthly intervals. Specimens were preserved in 4% formalin and were identified up to the lowest possible taxa. A total of 97 taxa of arthropods belonging to five classes were recorded. 88 taxa and 48 taxa were recorded in CTRL and EXPTL respectively. Order-wise Shannon diversity index was significantly higher (p < .001) in CTRL as compared to EXPTL site. There were significant differences in both cultivation (p <.001) and post-cultivation (p <.001) phases between CTRL and EXPTL sites. There was a significant effect of shifting cultivation on the diversity of soil macroarthropods at the p <.05 level for the three cultivation phases in EXPTL site. Therefore, it was concluded that shifting cultivation system negatively affected soil macroarthropod diversity at least for a short duration. This study provided the first baseline data of soil macroarthropod diversity and its interaction with land-use system from Mizoram, northeast India.

The objective of research is to find out the differences and similarities of insect diversity, abundance and composition between in industrial plantation forest (HTI) and natural forest (Arboretum) ecosystems. Field research was carried out in the Rasau Kuning area, Perawang  Barat Regency,  Riau Province, while specimens identification conducted at LIPI Biology Research Center Laboratory in February - March 2019. Line transect sampling technique and fluorescent light traps were used as methods for collecting insects from both two different ecosystems with three replications. The results found five order of insects i.e. Lepidoptera, Hemiptera, Coleoptera, Orthoptera, and Hymenoptera which consisting of  35 species in plantation forest ecosystem, and 26 species in natural forest ecosystem where both ecosystems dominated by Lepidoptera. Statistical analysis of research results show that two average insects species diversity index within both plantation forest (HTI) and natural forest (Arboretum) ecosystems is not different (t = 1,419; p0,05). The similarity index found very similar (23,56%) between both ecosystems. Predatory insects which was found in this study is Sycanus sp. (Hemiptera: Reduviidae) from the order of Lepidoptera.Penelitian ini bertujuan  untuk mengungkapkan perbedaan dan kesamaan keanekaragaman  jenis, kelimpahan, dan komposisi jenis serangga antara di ekosistem hutan tanaman industry (HTI) dengan ekosistem hutan alam (Arboretum). Penelitian lapang dilakukan di areal Rasau Kuning,  Kabupaten  Perawang  Barat, Provinsi Riau, sementara identifikasi specimen dilakukan di Laboratorium Pusat Penelitian Biologi LIPI, pada  bulan Pebruari  -  Maret  2019. Metode sampling  line transect  dan perangkap  cahaya  berflouresen digunakan untuk menangkap serangga di kedua ekosistem tersebut melalui 3 kali ulangan. Hasil studi menemukan 5 ordo serangga yaitu  Lepidoptera, Hemiptera, Coleoptera, Orthoptera, and Hymenoptera, dengan masing-masing  25 spesies terdapat di ekosistem hutan tanaman (HTI) dan 26 spesies di ekostem alam (Arboretum), yang mana keduanya didominasi ordo Lepidoptera. Melalui analisis statistik, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada kedua ekosistem tidak terlihat adanya perbedaan indeks keanekaragaman jenis (t =1,419; p0,05). Begitu juga dengan indeks kesamaan menunjukan tingkat yang sangat sama (23,56%) antara kedua ekosistem tersebut. Pada kajian ini juga ditemukan spesies serangga predator yaitu Sycanus sp. ((Hemiptera; Reduviidae) dari ordo Lepidoptera.

<p>Program pengembangan tebu saat ini diarahkan ke lahan kering yang memiliki ketersediaan air dan kesuburan tanah terbatas.  Kondisi lahan kering dapa menjadi pembatas produktvitas tebu.  Penambahan biomassa ke lahan dapat meningkatkan kesuburan dan populasi arthropoda tanah/detrivora.  Penelitian penambahan biomassa <em>Crotalaria juncea </em> pada lahan kering  dilaksanakan di Kebun Percobaan Asembagus, Situbondo mulai bulan Januari–Juli 2015. Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk menganalisa pengaruh penambahan biomassa pada lahan kering terhadap diversitas arthropoda tanah dan pengaruhnya terhadap produksi tebu. Perlakuan terdiri atas lahan dengan penambahan biomassa (serasah tebu dan pupuk hijau <em>C</em><em>. juncea</em>) dan lahan yang tanpa penambahan biomassa.  Pengamatan kelimpahan arthropoda tanah dan tingkat diversitas dilakukan dengan pemasangan <em>pitfall trap</em>s dan <em>yellow</em><em> pan traps</em><em>.</em><em> </em>Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Collembola dan Hymenoptera merupakan arthropoda tanah yang dominan. Indeks diversitas arhropoda tanah pada lahan dengan penambahan biomassa lebih tinggi (0,82–0,84) dibandingkan pada lahan tanpa penambahan biomassa (0,75–0,79). Penambahan biomassa pada tahun pertama dapat meningkatkan kandungan C Organik tanah dari 0,76 menjadi 1,06, dan meningkatkan kandungan N dari 0,03 menjadi 0,11, serta meningkatkan produksi tebu dari 70,4 ton/ha menjadi 101,4 ton/ha. Untuk memperbaiki kondisi ekosistem lahan kering diperlukan penambahan biomassa secara terus menerus.</p><p><strong>Effect of Biomass Addition in Dry Land to Diversity of Soil Arthropods and Productivity of Sugarcane</strong></p><p>The current sugarcane development program is directed to dry lands that have limited water availability and soil fertility, thereby limiting the productivity of sugarcane.  In order to restore soil fertility and reduce the evaporation of groundwater, addition of biomass in the form of trash (dried leaves) of sugarcane as well as the addition of green manure (<em>Clotalaria juncea</em>) is needed.  Biomass addition to the land could increase soil fertility and the population of soil arthropods/detrivores.  The experiment was conducted on dry land at Asembagus Experimental Station, Situbondo from January 2015–July 2015.  The purpose of this research was to analyze the effect of biomass addition to the diversity of soil arthropods and sugarcane productivity.  Treatments consisted of land with the addition of biomass (sugarcane/sugarcane and green manure <em>C. juncea</em>) and control.  Observation of the abundance of soil arthropods and diversity level was done by setting pitfall traps and yellow pan traps, observation was done monthly.  The results showed that the order of Collembola and Hymenoptera were dominant arthropods. The diversity index of ground arhropods on the land with biomass increments was higher (0.82–0.84) than that in the land without biomass addition (0.75–0.79).  The addition of biomass in the first year succeeded in increasing the organic C content of soil from 0.62 to 1.06 and increasing the production of sugar cane from 70.4 tons/ha to 101.4 tons/ha.  In order to improve the ecosystems condition, it is required the addition of biomass continuously.</p>

This research is conducted upon the emergence of many companies producing the same product of the same kind and function. It leads to the urgency of proper and well planned marketing strategy. This research aims to investigate how far the influence of branding, product quality, and price toward consumer’s satisfaction in beverage franchise business. This research utilizes 5 likert scale questionnaire which is tested by using multiple regression analysis to reveal whether or not there is partial and simultaneous influence of branding, product quality, and price toward consumer’s satisfaction in beverage franchise business. Sampling method is accidental sampling technique, in which sample of particular population is taken based on the accessibility and availability of the sample during the sampling process. Sample used is 100 samples among consumers or customers of Mang Endy Milkshake. The result shows that branding, product quality, and price influence consumer’s satisfaction in beverage franchise business.

<p>Humans have utilized landscape for  produces a diverse character of the wider area of the watershed. Agroforestry is a land management system in addressing the problems that arise due to changes in land use of soil and water conservation. The aim of the study was to analyze plant diversity in agroforestry practices that have services in the Krueng watershed landscape in Aceh watershed. Develop strategies in the Krueng Aceh DAS agroforestry service. This research was conducted in the upper, middle and downstream of the Krueng Aceh watershed, with a rapid method of Agro-Biodiversity Appraisal and SWOT. The results showed that the composition of the vegetation structure found in the study sites tended to vary with the diversity index of agroforestry that was currently in the upstream and middle of the Krueng Aceh watershed. Based on SWOT analysis, internal scores are 2.45 and external scores are 3.21. Agroforestry practices in the upper stream of Krueng Aceh watershed were dominated by <em>Aleurites moluccana</em>, <em>Areca cathecu</em>, and  <em>Averrhoa bilimbi</em> L  species with the highest INP in the upper stream of Krueng Aceh watershed. Vegetation at the middle stream of Krueng Aceh watershed dominated by <em>Areca cathecu,</em> <em>Lansium domesticum</em> and Musa<em> paradisiaca</em>.  </p>

At present, the unauthorized occupation of land plots without a building permit, unauthorized seizure or non-compliance with the parameters of the permitted use of land in a number of regions of the country has the most significant problems in the land management system. The research presented in the article clearly shows the types of violations in the field of land legislation in the field of registered cases of unauthorized objects on the example of municipalities of the Krasnodar Territory. The ways of solving the problem of preventing and suppressing the facts of unauthorized construction are proposed.

It is valuable to be researched in the application of science of complexity to the forest ecosystem. Forest ecosystem is an adaptive complex system which is suggested to be at the edge of chaos or at the criticality. The inner interaction of a forest ecosystem is the main driving force for the self-organization, complexity and order in the forest ecosystem. Forest ecosystem complexity is one of the research frontiers of ecological and evolutionary problems presently. The application of science of complexity to the forest ecosystem complexity studies, its concept, background, methodology and theory are briefly introduced. The forest ecosystem complexity is defined as the structure and function diversity, self-organization and the order of an ecosystem. Its main methods include the cellular automaton, genetic algorithm, game theory, complex network, etc. This paper has discussed mechanism and development of forest ecosystem complexity, by applying the principle and methods of science of complexity, which is a new approach for understanding ecological and evolutionary problems.

The growth of toddlers can be known if each month weighed. Weighing results arerecorded in KMS, and between the KMS weight point of last month's weighing results andthe month's weighing results are attributed to a line. Based on the results of preliminarystudy on 7 mothers found out the results of two primary school graduates, 2 mothers ofjunior high school, and 3 mothers of high school graduates. Then the mother was askedabout the nutrition of toddlers aged 1-5 years and 4 mothers know but do not understandthe whole while 3 mothers do not know at all about nutrition balita1-5 years, from 7mother toddler 3 balitanya experience weight gain while 4 balita weight drop .This study aims to determine the relationship of mother's knowledge about the nutrition ofchildren under five with weight growth of children under five. The design of this researchis analytical method with Cross Sectional approach. With the total population of 61respondents, the sample of the research is 31 respondents using sampling technique thatis accidental sampling. Data collection was obtained by questionnaire and view of KMS.Data were analyzed using spearman rank.The result of the research shows that from 31 respondents, most of BB did not increasewith 19 respondents (61,3%) and almost half of them were less knowledge with 14respondents (45,2%). Statistical test using spearman rankdidapatkan ρ = 0.000 withsignificance level ρ <0,05 then Ho is rejected which means there is relationship of motherknowledge about nutrition of balita with growth of BB and level of closeness strongrelation.Based on the results of the study is expected health workers, especially midwives toimprove the role and function of services for the community in providing healthinformation, especially about the importance of weight growth in toddlers.
