This research is motivated by the low student learning outcomes in social studies learning in the third class of MIS Handapherang Buy and Sell. In addition, students' lack of interest in social studies learning is due to teacher-centered learning not to students. So that social studies are considered saturated and boring lessons. In an effort to improve student learning outcomes, researchers used the Learning Strategy to Increase Thinking Ability (SPPKB). The method used is the class action research method (PTK) model of Kurt Lewin. Data collection techniques used are observation, test or assessment techniques and description analysis techniques. After conducting research, the results of the study can be obtained as follows: 1) The ability of teachers to design social studies learning plans in the first cycle is 84; cycle II is 87; cycle III is 92.1. 2) The skills of teachers in teaching in the first cycle amounted to 84.6; cycle II is 89.4; the third cycle is 93.3. 3) Student learning outcomes in the first cycle of 72.5; cycle II is 86.6; cycle III is 95. This proves that SPPKB can improve student learning outcomes on social studies subjects in the class III MIS Buy and Sell Handapherang. The results of the analysis indicate that the proposed hypothesis is acceptable

The preliminary study through preliminary observations found the fact that the learning outcomes of students in the mathematics subjects in grade 3 of SD Plus Al-Mu'aawanah were still low. This is because there are still many students who experience difficulties in working on math problems. Thus, it seems that one of them is needed for geoboard media to improve student learning outcomes on the subject of the concept of flat building. The purpose of this class action research implementation is to improve student learning outcomes in mathematics subjects the subject of the concept of flat building using geoboard media. This research method uses Classroom Action Research (CAR) in the subject of Grade 3 SD Plus Al-Mu'aawanah, amounting to 35 students. This study consisted of 3 cycles, data collection techniques with observation, tests and interviews. Data analysis uses analysis techniques of individual completeness and classical completeness. After conducting research in grade 3 of SD Plus Al-Mu'aawanah, the results showed that: 1) The teacher experienced an increase in the ability to develop RPP using geoboard media with an average value in the first cycle 87.75, cycle II 90.05, and cycle III 92.45. 2) The performance of teachers in the process of implementing learning using media geoboard has increased with an average value in the first cycle 89.72, cycle II 91.47, and cycle III 92.26. 3) Student learning outcomes using geoboard media have increased, with an average value in the first cycle 66.42, cycle II 72.28 and cycle III 81.42. Thus, if the preparation of the RPP and the implementation of learning using geoboard media optimally it will improve student learning outcomes.

This study is motivated by the low learning outcomes of students in social studies in class VII C SMP Negeri 7 Bandung. The purpose of this study is to describe the planning, implementation, results, constraints and efforts to improve student learning outcomes. This research uses PTK with Kemmis model and MC Taggart by using audio visual media in learning. The subject of this study is the students of class VII C SMP Negeri 7 Bandung as many as 40 students. Planning of this research include preparing RPP and make research instrument according to the needs of researchers. This study  was conducted for three cycles and obtained the improvement of student learning outcomes in the IPS lesson from first cycle until the third cycle. Student learning outcomes on one cycle obtained indigo with sufficient criteria, in the second cycle obtained the value with good criteria, and the third cycle obtained the value with very good criteria. The increase is one of them is marked by student learning outcomes that are above the KKM. Constraints of this research is one of the difficulty to revise the learning video that there is some negative content and adjust it with RPP. These constraints can be overcome by removing part of the negative content by editing and searching for videos from a trusted source. This research uses qualitative and quantitative data analysis.

The type of research used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted by researchers and teacher collaborators in class III SDN No.111 / 1 Komplek Air Panas through 3 cycles. Where each cycle is held 2 times. Each cycle consists of four activities, namely planning, action, observation and evaluation, and reflection. Based on the results of the study, the results achieved in each cycle have increased. In the first cycle of observation, the teacher's activity got a score of 63%, observing the attention of students getting a score of 65.52% and learning outcomes gained an average of 58.52. In the second cycle of observation the teacher's activities scored 73%, observations of students' attention gained 75.76% and student learning outcomes gained an average of 68.67. In the third cycle observation of teacher activities scored 89%, observation of students' attention gained a score of 83.88% and student learning outcomes gained an average of 81.61. Based on the results obtained, it can be seen that through visual-based learning media can increase students' attention on social studies subjects in grade III SDN No.111 / 1 Komplek Air Panas .
