The article is devoted to the Opera "The Dawns Here Are Quiet" by the Chinese composer Tang Jianping based on the same-named novel by Boris Vasilyev. The theme of the Great Patriotic War, which for the first time became the plot of the Chinese Opera, was in tune with the theme of the Chinese Resistance to the Japanese Invasion. The composition synthesizes the characteristics of the European opera type in its Russified version, which was reflected in the heroic and epic dramaturgy and multi-part musical text. Russian folklore allusions, quasi- quotes from Russian operas, military-patriotic and Soviet mass songs reflect the author's method. The integrity of musical dramaturgy was given by the leitmotif, which became the main marker of Russian identity in the Opera. The Opera lacks a naturalistic embodiment of the War, and depicts the enemy in a conventional, symbolic way, in the form of unnamed but recognizable figures. The creators of the play sought to reveal the barbaric essence of the War, its anti-human character, to present the psychological state of the heroes and the manifestation of their human nature. The theme of the death of young girls gave a special perspective to the Opera, which is particularly acute in China due to gender disparity. The concept of the composer, director and screenwriter reflects the ideological constants of traditional Chinese culture, which gave the Opera an internal subtext.

Н. (2014). Celebrity-endorsed advertisements have a powerful influence, especially on young generations like millennials. At the same time, green advertising is a growing trend used by many destinations and organisations for environmental protection initiatives. Celebrity endorsement in green advertisement could be a viable solution for many marketers in tourist destinations to engage and support millennials to be eco-friendly during their travels. Hence, the purpose of this study is to investigate the mediating role of using celebrities as endorsers in green ads to influence the intention of Egyptian millennials towards environmental behaviours in tourist destinations. Descriptive analysis, Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) and Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) have been carried out using SPSS and Amos to address the objectives of this study. Results show that celebrity endorsement mediates the relationship between green advertisements and the intentions of millennials to behave in a sustainable way in tourist destinations. This study makes the first attempt to provide evidence of how celebrities can be employed as a mediating variable in green advertisements to motivate Egyptian millennials to be environmentally responsible.

The low business capacity of broiler farmers is the reason behind the failure to achieve a sustainable farming business. Efforts for capacity building could be conducted by private extension agents who are the technical personnel of core companies in the broiler partnership pattern. The purpose of this study was to analyze the private extension agents’ strategies in strengthening the farmers’ capacity. The study was conducted in Bogor Regency and Sukabumi Regency, West Java Province using a survey approach on 247 farmers who run poultry-raising businesses using the partnership pattern based on Slovin’s equation out of the partner farmer population of 646 people. The sample selection used cluster random sampling with farmer clusters from the two regencies. Data were collected through questionnaires completed by farmers and in-depth interviews of key informants. Data were collected from July to October 2018. The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and inferential analysis with SEM. The study results revealed that the farmers’ capacity and private extension agents’ competence and role were weak. The farmers’ low capacity was influenced by the private extension agents' weak role. The weak private extension agents’ role was influenced by the private extension agents’ competence which was also weak. Strategies to increase the role of private extension agents are by strengthening their competence through strong collaborations between the government and partner companies so that they may, in turn, strengthen the farmers’ capacity.

The beginning of the twentieth century marked the confutation and negation of traditional Chinese values by intellectuals, who thought that Confucianism, and in general traditional Chinese culture, had hindered scientific, economic, and social progress. Nonetheless, we are now witnessing a revival of the tradition, from a political and cultural perspective, aiming to address and provide resolutions to the contradictions and issues of contemporary societies. Which are the most valuable traditions in China today, and what is their impact on Chinese society? This paper will provide some of the theories promoted by Chinese scholars and their interpretation of the role of philosophy and religion today.
