Due to long-term lack of comprehensive practice platform in simulation courses, students suffer from the challenges of engineering ability and systemic thinking training restrictions, “teaching” and “learning” separation, etc. To solve those problems, our teaching group created a simulation competition platform independently for theoretical and practical teaching of “Game Simulation & Modeling” course. The introduction of competition platform has played a good role in stimulating students’ learning motivation, training systemic simulation knowledge points and engineering ability, promoting theoretical and practical teaching, and enriching teaching materials through students’ feedback and practice accumulation.

There are some problems in the activity design teaching of preschool education in higher vocational education, such as teachers' professional quality needs to be improved, practical teaching is weak, teaching integration is weak, and students' learning autonomy is insufficient. These problems affect the improvement of students' ability and level of activity design. The main strategies of activity design teaching improvement are to build a contingent of high-quality teachers, strengthen practical teaching, improve the integration of teaching, and guide students to improve their autonomous learning level.

PurposeThe study aimed to understand the effect of instructional coaching on teachers' implementation of a science teaching improvement programme and whether it varies in schools of different socioeconomic statuses.Design/methodology/approachThe authors conducted an experimental study. A total of 59 seventh-grade classrooms from a representative sample of public schools from the city of Buenos Aires, Argentina, were provided with research-based science educative curriculum materials (ECM) as resources to improve their teaching. A randomly selected treatment group received additional instructional coaching. Coaches met one-on-one with teachers on a weekly basis, providing pedagogical support to enact the ECM. After a 12-week intervention, the authors analyzed science teaching practices as evidenced in students' notebooks. The authors used a fidelity framework to understand the programme's implementation (with and without coaching), considering its adherence, dosage and quality, and compared how it varied across schools.FindingsWhile teachers in both groups used the ECM in their science lessons (i.e. with high adherence), instructional coaching almost tripled science teaching time (i.e. the dosage) but did not increase the quality of implementation (i.e. the percentage of inquiry-based science activities taught). In low socioeconomic status schools, the effect of coaching on dosage was even more intense.Originality/valueThis study provides robust evidence on the impact of instructional coaching on teaching improvement programmes in science in developing countries, an under researched topic. The findings may contribute to developing targeted coaching interventions considering their effectiveness in different school contexts.

The development of educational information technology makes the construction and application of online teaching space more and more common. As a field and assistant system, the essential requirement of online-teaching space is to ensure that learners can continuously engage in learning. The goal of the application of flow theory in teaching is to stimulate learners' flow experience, so as to improve the learning effect and achieve the learning goal. Starting from the design of online teaching based on flow theory, this paper puts forward the design requirements and principles of its teaching links, including the analysis of individual chemical situation, hierarchical and classified teaching objectives and tasks, multi scene teaching links and teaching improvement, and then puts forward the corresponding online teaching space framework. This paper argues that online teaching space should be composed of intelligent guidance system, teaching support system, situational intervention system and flow support system. Under such conditions, teaching space is more conducive to the implementation of online instructional design based on flow theory, and can help space constructors and participants achieve continuous improvement of teaching effect.

This study employs a qualitative methodology, collecting data through field observations, documentation studies, and interviews, and analyzing it using descriptive analysis. The study results indicate that parents are the basic foundation for the formation of children's behavior and morals to know the boundaries of good and evil. At the same time, the school/teacher acts as a relay or further stick in educating children so that Islamic characters are formed with good morals and morals. SMP IT Al Istiqamah Global School Karawang provides Islamic religious education and a good feeling by giving educational teaching; Improvement and consolidation of guidance and counseling programs in schools, and the development of school libraries as a center for student learning resources.

A didactic plan is proposed for Territorial Tourism Resources, considered as a key subject for the university study of the geographical dimension of tourism. The study takes into account the reality in this regard in the Spanish university system, characterized by an obvious heterogeneity. A proposal for the desirable clarification is offered, from which the conceptual and methodological development of the subject is detailed, from an eminently pragmatic and applied perspective, for the sake of teaching improvement.
