Parents and teachers are very influential in shaping the religious character of children both at home, at school, and in the community. Therefore, it is necessary to have the cooperation of parents and teachers in shaping the religious character of the child. The purpose of this study is to ascertain the parents' and teachers' roles in the management of Islamic Religious Education and Children's Character Education at SMP IT Al Istiqamah Global School Karawang. This study employs a qualitative methodology, collecting data through field observations, documentation studies, and interviews, and analyzing it using descriptive analysis. The study results indicate that parents are the basic foundation for the formation of children's behavior and morals to know the boundaries of good and evil. At the same time, the school/teacher acts as a relay or further stick in educating children so that Islamic characters are formed with good morals and morals. SMP IT Al Istiqamah Global School Karawang provides Islamic religious education and a good feeling by giving educational teaching; Improvement and consolidation of guidance and counseling programs in schools, and the development of school libraries as a center for student learning resources.

Conflicts that occur in the school environment as the dynamics of a multicultural society. Shaping the character of students' multicultural education is the main responsibility of a teacher. The objectives of the study are 1) To find and explain the role of Islamic Religious Education teachers in fostering religious attitudes in multicultural society in schools; 2) To find, understand, and explain the strategy of Islamic Education teachers in implementing multicultural values in schools; 3) To find, understand, and explain what are the obstacles faced by Islamic Religious Education teachers in implementing multicultural education in schools. This research is qualitative descriptive analysis with depth interview method. Data were obtained from interviews with 25 teachers from various subject areas at Cirebon 2 State High School, West Java, Indonesia. The positive role of the teacher can be seen in the attitude of fostering religious awareness and multicultural attitudes in schools by providing religious lessons. The strategy of Islamic religious education teachers in growing religious multiculturalism through sustainable character education learning. The obstacles faced by some education teachers are religious fanaticism, teachers cannot control the implementation of daily interactions and different levels of student awareness.

<p>This study aims to (1) analyze the role of parents and teachers in developing children's character; (2) factors that influence children's character development; (3) the impact of the role of parents and teachers on the development of the character of children in SD Muhammadiyah Sapen. This study uses descriptive qualitative research. Data sources were obtained from the principal, class teacher, religious education teacher, committee chairman, and parents. Data collection is done through interviews, observation and documentation. Data was then analyzed by interactive models that followed the format of Miles &amp; Huberman, including: data reduction, data presentation and conclusions. The results showed that the role of parents and teachers as <em>role models </em>for children in attitude and personality, such as honesty, tolerance, discipline, responsibility, religion, and caring for others and the environment. Supporting factors are curriculum content standards, principal leadership, school community commitment, and involve the role of parents in school programs. While the inhibiting factor is the apathy of some parents and teachers, and the lack of parental knowledge about character education. The impact of the role of parents and teachers is: (1) Character values affect children's learning achievement, (2) The occurrence of behavioral changes that occur in children.</p>

<p>Abstract: THE PARENTS' ROLE IN EDUCATING CHILDREN SINCE<br />INFANCY IN THE FAMILY. The child is a boon and mandate entrusted by<br />God to His servant who will be asked for the responsibility in the Hereafter.<br />The obligation as a parent is to provide education to children starting from<br />an early age. The development of early childhood is strongly bound by the<br />environment and the family. This paper aims to describe the role of parents<br />to the education of children. The study in this paper uses literature study or<br />library research method. The result of this study is that family is the first<br />place where children get education. Children's character and personality is<br />formed first in the family. Parents should have a concept or provision in<br />educating their children that includes moral or character education,<br />science education, religious education, be fair to the children, and give<br />attention and affection to children. Parents become role models for their<br />children. Therefore, the role of parents is very important in the<br />development and formation of children's character from an early age.</p><p>Anak merupakan anugerah dan sekaligus amanah yang<br />dititipkan oleh Allah kepada hambaNya yang akan dimintai<br />pertanggungjawabannya di akhirat kelak. Kewajiban sebagai orang tua<br />adalah memberikan pendidikan kepada anak yang dimulai sejak usia<br />dini. Perkembangan pada anak usia dini sangat terikat oleh lingkungan<br />dan keluarganya. Tulisan ini bertujuan untuk menjabarkan peran orang<br />tua terhadap pendidikan anak. Kajian dalam tulisan ini menggunakan<br />metode studi kepustakaan (library research). Hasil dari kajian ini yaitu<br />bahwa keluarga merupakan tempat pertama dimana anak memperoleh<br />pendidikan. Karakter dan kepribadian anak dibentuk pertama kali di<br />dalam keluarga. Orang tua hendaknya memiliki konsep atau ketentuan<br />dalam mendidik anaknya yang meliputi pendidikan moral atau karakter,<br />pendidikan ilmu pengetahuan, pendidikan ilmu agama, bersikap adil<br />terhadap anak, serta memberikan perhatian dan kasih sayang kepada<br />anak. Orang tua menjadi suri tauladan bagi anak-anaknya. Oleh sebab itu<br />peran orang tua sangatlah penting dalam perkembangan dan<br />pembentukan karakter anak sejak dini.</p>

The current era, with fertile technology that is increasingly developing, certainly has positive and negative sides. One of the phenomena that shows the negative side of development technologies such as Youtube, Instagram, Twitter and Facebook is that many cildren use media gadgets as playmates, so that the child is not controlled is choosing content that is popular in cyberspace, as a reseult the child will further away from values religion, humanitarian values, values justice and moral values. In this article, the researcher describes the prevention of moral decadence for the younger generation, so it is necessary to increase the role of education, especially the role of parents in selecting entertaiment content that contains moral values for children. These efforts are made to prepare the next generation who have knowledge, faith and good character. The writing of this article uses qualitative research with descriptive analysis. The writer in this article uses Roland Barthes’ semiotic analysis model known as “two order of signification”, namely by looking for the denotative meaning the connotation of each scene. From using this method the researcher foumd that the animated film Nussa and Rarra, the episode of prayer must contain values from the concept of Islamic teachings, namely Akidah, Sharia and Moral. If parents are able to nurture and guide by choosing content that educated and implements in life, it is hoped that the child will become a person with character according to the expectation of the nation and religion. This paper examines the role of parents as a source of character education for early childhood. This study was conducted using the library research method. The results of this study indicate that the role of parents is a determining factor for children's development, both physically and mentally, is the role of both parents as the first and main educators for children who are born until they are adults. In the process of forming knowledge, various parenting styles conveyed by parents are very important. Education in the family plays a very important role in developing the character, personality, cultural values, religious and moral values ​​, and simple skills of children. The role of parents in influencing the character of children is no longer borne by the mother only. The role of the father in shaping the character of the child is very large. Fathers are still obliged to participate in maintaining interactions with their children, such as inviting them to talk, joke, and play.

In the current era of globalization, there are many influences, both positive and negative. This negative influence must be avoided because it can affect a person's habits, attitudes, and behavior. Character education is one of the important things that must be applied in the family environment. Parents must reflect good attitudes and habits in interacting in the family environment and in the community environment. This is important for fostering good attitudes and habits in children. The formulation of the problem in this study is how the role of parents in improving children's character in the era of globalization, Masigit Village, Citangkil Village, Cilegon City. What factors can influence the formation of children's character in the era of globalization, Masigit Village, Citangkil Village, Cilegon City. What efforts are made by parents in shaping children's character in the era of globalization in Masigit Village, Citangkil Village, Cilegon City. This study aims to determine the role of parents in shaping children's character in the era of globalization in Masigit Village, Citangkil Village, Cilegon City. The subjects of this study were 6 parents and 6 children in Masigit Village, Citangkil Village, Cilegon City. This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods. Data analysis in qualitative research is by doing data reduction, data presentation, and data verification. The results of this study indicate that the role of parents in Masigit Village, Citangkil Village, Cilegon City has been good in shaping children's character in the era of globalization.

This article discusses the role of Christian religious education in families in the digital era to improve children's spirituality and morality. The digital era is an era where everything is instantaneous and fast. In this era, all human activities are carried out online, be it work activities, education and also worship. These online activities have both positive and negative impacts. By using a descriptive-analytical method,in this paper the author discusses the negative impact of online activities on children's spirituality and morality. Spirituas and morality are the main and foremost things for children's lives or things that are very basic for children. Therefore, parents have a very important role in the family to shape the spiritual and moral of the child because good or bad spiritual and moral children depend on the role of parents in the family. In the family, parents must play their role as the first and foremost role in improving children's spirituality and morality through the role of parents as teachers, educators, mentoring, motivators, and role models.

Parenting is a process in the family, the interaction of parents and children. The family is where a child is born, the first place a child gets an education, consisting of father, mother and child. The family also became the main central place of character education formation of children. Family education is the fundamental or foundation of subsequent children's education. In the society of the nobility and in general people Sasak known to have the motto of Lomboq Mirah Sasak Adi meaning Lomboq straight meaning. Mirah is a true gem, an elegant precious metal that is very expensive. Sasak comes from sa'sa 'sa'i, sopo, seke' which means one. Adi means something that is very high value. Therefore, the true (mule jati) "straight road" is a very noble path, a very high value, as the only path to be followed by the sasak. and the road is a straight path (siratulmustakim) commanded by Allah SWT contained in the Qur'an and Al Hadith. In the process of learning guidance and counseling teachers are teachers who are tasked to provide guidance to students who are problematic and who are not problematic if considered important by the teacher guidance and counseling, therefore the role of teachers guidance and counseling in the learning process is needed, because learners have problems are diverse

<p>During the COVID-19 pandemic, guidance and counseling teachers are demanded to keep running counseling services using various alternatives of online learning applications. At the same time, parents as the main assistants in the online counseling process should actively encourage their children to have active participation. It is because the majority of parents consider that all the things related to school activities are totally teachers’ responsibility. Thus, the present study attempted to find, reveal, and describe the role of parents in the implementation of supporting technology for online counseling services during the COVID-19 pandemic. To do so, the researchers adopted an online survey method and cross-sectional technique to analyze the data of 350 student's parents in Semarang Regency as the respondents of this study. This study aims to describe the efforts of parents in improving Islamic religious education for children in SDN 08 Sentosa Kecamatan Dua Koto Kabupaten Pasaman. This research uses qualitative research using observation, interview and documentation methods. While data analysis is by reducing data, presenting data, and making conclusions. The results showed that first: Parental guidance towards children can improve children's Islamic religious education, because parents are the foundations of education for children in the family which will then become the basis for the child's personality in the future. Second: the discipline of children to study at home can be realized with parental supervision. Third, to support the achievement of children's Islamic religious education, the role of parents can encourage children at home including attention to the learning process, giving advice, giving gifts and educational punishments, and providing sustainable children's learning facilities.
