Conservation areas are known for their significant functions to protect the plant and animal biodiversity, as well as their ecosystems. Lapak Jaru Tahura, which is located in Gunung Mas Regency, Central Kalimantan, is one of the conservation areas with potential ecotourism attraction. The strategy for developing tourist objects and natural attractions in Tahura Lapak Jaru needs to be formulated to gain positive impact and to reach its sustainability. The purpose of this study was to dig ecotourism potential in Tahura Jaru Kuala Kurun and to formulate tourism development strategies in the Tahura Lapak Jaru in Kuala Kurun tourist area. This research was conducted through 2 (two) stages of analysis. First, identifying the tourism potential in the Tahura Jaru Kuala Kurun area with descriptive analysis. Second, formulating a tourism development strategy in the Tourism Area of the Lapak Jaru Kuala Kurun tourism area with a SWOT analysis. The results showed that the Lapak Jaru Tahura is a very potential site for further development to become a tourist attraction. The strategy of Tahura Lapak Jaru development is aggressive, namely, to use the strength they have to take advantage of current opportunities. These strategies, among others, are, first, to maintain its position as a tourism destination which fully supported by local government and the ease of gaining potential investor. Second, regional development planning needs to include the participation of local communities so that target consumers who tend to like nature tourism can be achieved.

Attractions Puger Beach in Jember District, East Java Province. Puger Beach 35 km northwest of the city of Jember known as a fish auction, will Puger Beach has a very interesting beauty with a large waves also can be used for surfing. Another potential that can be developed is the island of Nusa Barong is located not far from Puger Beach, Development of attractions that must be done with more focused and sustainable.The formulation of this research is how is the strategy of puger beach tourism development in increasing the tourists in Jember District Government? So the purpose of the research is to analyze the strategy of puger beach tourism development in increasing the tourists. Sources of data in this study are primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained by conducting interviews to tourism managers, the public. Related offices and visitors who are in the location of research, while secondary data obtained from BPS, Department of Culture and Tourism Kab. Jember, libraries and internet, data analysis techniques used using Descriptive Analysis method while to obtain tourism development strategy using SWOT analysis.Based on the results of data analysis and discussion that has been done, it can be concluded tourism object. Puger Beach can be developed using aspects of attractiveness, accessibility aspects, aspects of activities and facilities, social, economic and cultural aspects. This study aims to explain the local government's strategy in tourism development in East Nusa Tenggara Province, with a focus on: identifying tourism potential; leading tourism areas and destinations; identification of tourism problems; and local government strategies to achieve successful tourism development. This research uses descriptive analysis method. Data were collected through literature studies and documentation studies. Data obtained from secondary data through internet footprints based on the website of the West Nusa Tenggara Provincial Government and other related institutions. The results of the study concluded that first, West Nusa Tenggara Province was able to achieve the success of tourism development through a tourism potential identification strategy; determination of leading tourism destinations; stipulation of regional tourism strategy areas; and formulation of Regional Tourism Development Master Plans; The Tourism Office's Strategic Plan and the Tourism Office's Performance Plan, second, the tourism development planning system is formulated in stages, synergies and involves multi-stakeholders; third, sustainable tourism development through changing poor villages into tourist villages; fourth, developing tourism infrastructure and supporting facilities; marketing through tourism promotion; establish partnerships; improving the quality of tourism human resources; increasing the number and quality of tourism attractions. KPH Unit XIII Gunung Rajabasa, Way Pisang, Batu Serampok has several potential natural tourism objects including waterfalls and sulfur spring. However the visitors were still a few. This study aimed to assess the natural tourism potential in this area and to develop an appropriate development strategy for priority natural attractions. Potential assessment and determination of natural attractions priority were conducted using Operation Areas Analysis of Object and Natural Tourism Attraction (ADO-ODTWA) guidelines issued by the Director General of Forest Protection and Natural Conservation (PHKA) 2003. Development strategy of natural attractions priority was conducted by identifying strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats using SWOT analysis. Result showed that among various natural tourism attractions in thearea, Kecapi Waterfall plus Way Belerang Simpur Hot spring were selected as the most potential tourism spot. Based on SWOT analisys, this object is located among growing market area that makes this objectin a favorable condition because they have a positive strength and opportunity in terms of natural tourism development. Strategies needed in order to create a developing plan are increasing the information spreading and promotion trough offline either online mass media. <p>Pariwisata ditegaskan dalam berbagai Rencana Strategis (RENSTRA) maupun Rencana Induk Pariwisata Nasional (RIPARNAS) sebagai andalan penggerak pertumbuhan ekonomi Indonesia. Aset berupa sumberdaya budaya dan sumberdaya alam yang dimiliki seperti keunikan wisata alam berupa wisata bahari dan berbagai event budaya daerah serta keaslian budaya dapat dikelola dan dimanfaatkan untuk bersaing dengan destinasi wisata lain. Kesemuanya itu untuk menarik wisatawan mancanegara maupun domestik untuk datang ke Indonesia. Salah satu program pemerintah dalam  pencapaian target tersebut adalah penciptaan 10 (sepuluh) destinasi wisata prioritas atau dengan istilah “Menciptakan 10 Bali Baru” yang tersebar diseluruh Indonesia, yaitu Danau Toba, Tanjung Lesung, Tanjung Kelayang, Kepulauan Seribu, Borobudur, Lombok Mandalika, Wakatobi, Morotai, Bromo-Tengger-Semeru dan Labuan Bajo. Dalam rangka mencapai tujuan strategi pengembangan wisata bahari di Lombok, maka diperlukan langkah-langkah tata kelola destinasi antara lain inventarisasi kesiapan terhadap keadaan daya tarik wisata alam maupun budaya, dapat dimanfaatkan dan kesiapan aksesibilitas, amenitas serta akomodasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif  dan analisis SWOT. Dari sisi ekonomi, diharapkan berdampak positif terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi, sehingga peluang pemanfaatan dan pengembangan wisata bahari di Lombok Barat diharapkan dapat menguntungkan semua pihak. Hasil dari penelitian antara lain : perlunya strategi pengembangan wisata bahari yaitu mengembangkan fasilitas infrastruktur, terutama perluasan dermaga, meningkatkan kompetensi SDM melalui sertifikasi kompetensi  pariwisata dankerjasama antara pemerintah, industri pariwisata, akademisi, masyarakat dan media dalam rangka peningkatan pelayanan dan kenyamanan wisatawan,untuk mencapai target 20 Juta wisatawan mancanegara yang berkunjung ke Indonesia tahun 2019.</p><p><strong> </strong></p><p><strong>Kata Kunci:</strong> Wisata Bahari, Gili Trawangan, Analisis SWOT</p><p align="center"><em> </em></p><p align="center"><em> </em></p><p align="center"><strong><em>ABSTRACT:</em></strong></p><p><em>Tourism is affirmed in various Strategic Plans (RENSTRA) as well as the National Tourism Master Plan (RIPARNAS) as a mainstay driving the economic growth of Indonesia. All of them to attract foreign and domestic tourists to come to Indonesia. </em><em>One of the government programs in achieving the target is the creation of 10 (ten) priority tourist destinations or with the term "Creating 10 New Bali" scattered throughout Indonesia, namely Lake Toba, Tanjung Lesung, Tanjung Kelayang, Kepulauan Seribu, Borobudur, Lombok Mandalika, Wakatobi , Morotai, Bromo-Tengger-Semeru and Labuan Bajo. </em><em>In order to achieve the goal of marine tourism development strategy in Lombok, it is necessary steps of governance of destinations, among others, inventory readiness to the state of nature and cultural attractions, can be utilized and readiness of accessibility, amenitas and accommodation. This research uses qualitative descriptive method and SWOT analysis. </em><em>From the economic side, it is expected to have a positive impact on economic growth, so that the opportunity of exploiting and developing marine tourism in West Lombok is expected to benefit all parties. </em><em>The results of the research include: the need for marine tourism development strategy that is developing infrastructure facilities, especially the expansion of the pier, increasing the competence of human resources through the certification of competence of tourism services and cooperation between the government, tourism industry, academics and the community in order to improve the service and comfort of tourists. to achieve the target of 20 million foreign tourists who visit Indonesia in 2019.</em></p><p><em> </em></p><strong><em>Keywords:</em></strong><em> Marine Tourism, Gili Trawangan, SWOT Analysis </em>

Tourism development in an area is able to give an impact on various dimensions of local people life. One of the impacts of tourism development is on the economic dimension. It happened to Sawahlunto, a city in West Sumatera famous for its coal mines, which slowly developed into a tourist city. The purpose of this study was to find out the Strength & Weakness, Opportunity & Threat and to formulate the development strategy of Kota Tua as a tourism destination in Sawahlunto, West Sumatra. The research method is descriptive method using SWOT analysis. The results showed that the development strategy of the Old City area of Sawahlunto used a lot of SWOT analysis, namely by increasing and optimizing natural resources through good processing, improving road access, and improving the tourism sector of Old City Sawahlunto. Another strategy is improving human resources through counseling and training, socialization of science and technology. The tourism potential of Sawahlunto old town on the 4A tourism component (Attraction, Accessibility, Amenities and Ancillary) shows that this area has the potential of historical tourist attraction. The historical heritage of World War II in Sawahlunto is the main tourism potential that is stored. With historical tourism potential, foreign tourists are the target of tourists who are expected to visit Sawahlunto. In order for a historical tourism potential strategy to be implemented, it is necessary to meet the minimum criteria of the tourism component. To meet the service standards of all 4A tourism components, it is necessary to improve the management of 4A tourism components including Attraction, Accessibility, Ancillary, and Amenity.

Coffee is one of the leading commodities in Bengkulu Province. The Agricultural Technology Research Center (BPTP 2014) said Bengkulu Province was one of the top three producers of Indonesian coffee, therefore Bengkulu Province was suitable for agro-tourism development, but in its development agro-tourism would be left behind if it could not innovate according to market trends. Research objectives: to find a strategic location for the development of agro-tourism as well as the right strategy in developing agro-tourism based on the coffee agro-industry. The method used: the method of observation / descriptive analysis, the selected districts will be analyzed the development strategy with the SWOT analysis method Result: the calculation of the LQ method shows that Kepahiang Regency was chosen to be the location for agro-tourism development because the LQ value is 1.049, if the LQ value 1 the area is considered capable of exporting products exit the area. The position of developing agro-tourism in Kepahiang district is currently in quadrant II. This position shows that agro-tourism is already strong, but still faces big challenges. Agro-tourism must continue to diversify its strategies in order to face future threats. The results of the SWOT analysis produce 8 alternatives: Maintain the quality of the coffee produced so that consumer confidence is guaranteed, and tourists will come to visit again. 2) Maintaining the beauty around the tea plantations, by cooperating with the tea plantation managers. 3) Looking for investors who want to invest in agro-tourism as partners. 4) Review agro-tourism institutional management, increase promotional activities to increase market demand. 5) Maintaining characteristics and quality to avoid disappointment of coffee consumers. 6) Increasing the number of coffee processing industries due to abundant resources. 7) Increase the number of training sessions in collaboration with the Government and related agencies to improve the skills of both coffee processing workers and coffee farmers. 8) Improve facilities and infrastructure in order to defend agro-tourism from losing visitors.

Edelweis tourism village is one of the tourist villages located in Pacitan Regency, East Java. This tourist village is still in the Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park area. This tourist village has the main tourism potential, namely the Edelweiss flower or eternal flower. In this research, using descriptive analysis which is qualitative in nature. The data obtained were then analyzed using SWOT analysis. From the results of this study, the development strategy of Wonokriti Village as an Edelweiss tourism village is obtained, including holding activities related to the Edelweiss flower, making this village a center for educational tourism, especially edelweiss flowers, developing tourism supporting infrastructure, holding hospitality training for human resources involved in management. The research objective was to describe the potential for waterfall tourism in Sambangan Village and to analyze strategies to develop the tourist attraction of the waterfall in Sambangan Village. Collecting data by means of observation, interviews, and document recording was analyzed with qualitative analysis to describe the potential for waterfall tourism in Sambangan Village and SWOT analysis to formulate a waterfall tourism development strategy. The results showed (1) classification of waterfall tourism potential in Sambangan Village, namely the classification of low tourism potential (Barak Wall Waterfall), medium tourism potential classification (Changing Waterfall, Dedari Waterfall, Cemara Waterfall), and high tourism potential classification ( Aling Aling Waterfall, Kembar Waterfall, Kroya Waterfall, Pucuk Waterfall) and (2) A strategic plan for developing a waterfall tourist attraction, namely by developing and improving various components including tourist attractions, accessibility, facilities, institutions, and preservation. environment to increase tourists to the waterfall in Sambangan Village.

<p>Selumbung Village is one of the villages that is directed to be developed as a tourist village in Karangasem regency. Culture-based tourism development in this village is expected to provide benefits to the community if properly managed and planned. This study aims to get a recommendation for the strategic plan of cultural-based tourism development in the village of Selumbung. The analytical method used in this study includes descriptive analysis which is assisted by the SWOT analysis method to determine the development strategy plan. The results showed that the priority of the culture-based tourism development strategy plan in the village of Selumbung was to develop tourism products, improve management and marketing.</p>

Cilacap is one of the districts in Central Java that has tourism potential with various tourism destination. One of them is Waduk Kubangkangkung. This Waduk Kubangkangkung is a tourism destination that offers beautiful natural tourism and also attractive tourism attraction. The purpose of this study was to determine the role of the local community in Waduk Kubangkangkung development, knowing the manager‘s efforts in developing Waduk Kubangkangkung as a sustainable tourism destination, and finding the development strategy of Waduk Kubangkangkung to attract tourists . While the method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method and SWOT analysis. The results of this study are the need for collaboration between managers and other stakeholders towards Waduk Kubangkangkung, improve promotion and also facilities that needed by tourists.
