Learning style learning style is the best way used by students in learning to receive, absorb and process information received. This study aims to describe the characteristics of student learning styles which consist of the characteristics of the learning style of 4MAT System. The 4MAT System learning style developed by Bernice McCarthy proclaims four learning models namely; analytic learning, imaginative learning, common sense learning and dynamic learning. This study uses quantitative research methods with a type of descriptive research. With the research subject were students of the Christian Education Study Program at STT Kristus Alfa Omega, Semarang, which numbered 41 people. The technique of collecting data is done through questionnaires or questionnaires. The results showed the level of implementation of the 4MAT System learning style by the Christian Religious Education Study Program at the STT Kristus Alfa Omega, Semarang in the 2017/2018 academic year with a value of 77,177% which was at a high percentage, between (61-80).

This study aims to identify and describe students' learning style preferences in the mathematics education study program based on class and gender. This research is a type of quantitative research with a descriptive design that describes the percentage of learning style trends in mathematics education students based on class and gender and then draws conclusions on the percentage of learning style preference. The sample of this research was 44 students of the Mathematics Education study program at USN Kolaka. The instrument used in this study was a questionnaire containing 16 questions related to VARK learning styles (Visual, Auditorial, Read/Write, Kinesthetic). The VARK questionnaire instrument used is a standard questionnaire adapted from The VARK Questionnaire Version 7.1. The results showed that students’ learning styles had a multimodal preference(23% bimodal, 27% trimodal, 18% quadmodal).When viewed from class, class A and class B also have a multimodal preference where ARK is the most dominant preference for class A while class B's most dominant preferences are AK and VARK. In terms of gender, women had a multimodal preference (7% bimodal, 33% trimodal and 13% quadmodal) and men had a multimodal preference (31% bimodal, 24% trimodal and 21% quadmodal).

The industrial revolution 4.0 in the field of education provides convenience in learning methods and processes. Internet-based technology makes it easier for students to learn independently, quickly in providing feedback, and freely choose material from library sources from anywhere. As a result, student learning styles change along with the development of internet-based technology. In the coursework, students can read and combine various writings from several sources, and in-class when students present assignments of learning materials that have been read so that they are easily understood by other students. Likewise, in completing paper assignments from lecturers, students can read various papers given by many lecturers. This happens because of the students' understanding of the assignments given by the lecturer. The purpose of this study was to identify the learning styles of students of the Biology Education Study Program, STKIP PGRI Sumatera Barat on the development of internet-based technology in the industrial revolution 4.0. This type of research is descriptive and the approach used is quantitative. The results of this study indicate that the learning style of students of the Biology Education Study Program STKIP PGRI Sumatera Barat, Padang, West Sumatra tends to be visual, namely 60.3%. The presence of internet technology and its use in an educational institution is a medium or source of learning that can be utilized by students

This study aims to describe the results of analysis of student learning styles based on Visual, Auditorial, Kinesthetic Computer System Study Program Class of 2019. The research method used is descriptive. Descriptive research was chosen because the researcher would describe and present a complete picture of the condition or relationship by describing each variable. The sample selection is done by purposive random sampling. The instruments used in this study were visual, auditory, and kinetic learning style questionnaires. Based on the research results it is known that the students of the Computer System Study Program in 2019 have a tendency towards kinesthetic learning styles. From 124 students, it was found that 13% Visual, 35% Auditorial, 42% Kinesthetic, 3% Combined Visual and Auditorial, 5% Combined Visual and Kinesthetic, and 2% Combined Auditorial and Kinesthetic.

The study aims to describe the tendency of students learning style at History Education Study Program of STKIP-PGRI Lubuklinggau.  The study was a descriptive study. the subject of the study was the history students in Strategi Belajar Mengajar class. The techniques to collect the data were observation and questionnaire. The data were analyzed descriptively. The results showed that students' learning styles include visual was10,26%, audio was 15,38%, kinesthetic 46% , audiovisual was 5,13%, visual-kinesthetic was 7,69%, audio-  kinesthetic was 15,38%. The most preferred leaning style was kinesthetic.  In conclusion, the most preferred learning style of students in history education program was kinesthetic learning style Keywords: Learning Styles, Tendency

This study aims to get a clear description of the basic teaching skills for students of the Arabic Language Education Study Program, Faculty of Languages and Arts, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. The research method used in this study is a mixed-method which is a combination of quantitative research methods and qualitative research methods. The research location is in one of the Universitas Negeri Jakarta classrooms and the research subjects consisted of 45 students class of 2016 in the Arabic Language Education Study Program who took Micro Teaching course. Data collection techniques using observation and documentation instruments. The percentage of the highest to lowest average scores in basic teaching skills mastered by students on the exam, small groups and individuals, with a value of 89.42% in the very good category, and skills of reinforcement obtained an average value of 85.00% with enough category. With this research, researchers gain an understanding of basic teaching skills as well as data related to teaching skills in the Arabic Language Education Study Program, Universitas Negeri Jakarta. This research also can be used as a guideline for other researchers regarding basic teaching skills.

Arabic subjects are very important to develop the ability to communicate. By learning Arabic, students can understand the conversation and reading in Arabic well. Formal Arabic Studies in Madrasahs are the main means for students to master Arabic. This study aims to: 1) Know the efforts of STI Pati Raden Wijaya Prodi in shaping Arabic environment on Prodi PIT STIT Raden Wijaya. 2) Knowing the supporting factors in shaping Arabic environment on PAI STIT Raden Wijaya Prodi. 3) Knowing the obstacles faced by Prodi PIT STIT Raden Wijaya in shaping Arabic environment at Prodi PIT STIT Raden Wijaya. This study uses oriented approach (paradigm) Descriptive-Qualitative, While the type of research is using case studies (Santoso, 2005). In this study the researchers themselves or with the help of others are the main data collectors. This research was conducted at Tarbiyah High School of Raden Wijaya Kota Mojokerto, on Islamic Religious Education Study Program. In this study, the primary data obtained by researchers is: the results of interviews with the Chairman of the Study Program of Islamic Education and Students Semester I (One). In this study used in analyzing data that has been obtained is by descriptive (non statistical) descriptive that is explorative. The conclusions of this research are: 1) Effort-uaha done Prodi in making effective learning arab language in Prodi PIT STIT Raden Wijaya are: a. He held yaum al-'araby twice a week on Friday. b. It was called shabah al-lughah a week twice before ta'lim afkar al-islamy began. c. The existence of study club on each mabna. 2) Factors that become supporters in forming bi'ah al-'arabiyah are: a. Attachment of mufradat in strategic places. b. Make plaques that are written / spoken in Arabic to make it easier to remember. c. Songs in foreign languages ​​(Arabic and English) to increase students' insight in developing the language. 3) The constraints faced in creating bi'ah al-'arabiyah namely: a. Ability and basic students are different. b. There is no class classification that suits the ability of each student. c. Lack of facilities / facilities and infrastructure. d. Competence musyrif / ah who are not all able to speak. e. The curriculum and materials that are presented have not been neatly arranged. f. The absence of a strict iqob for students who do not communicate arabic language everyday.

This study aims to determine the misconceptions and level of understanding of physics education students on dynamic electricity. The method used is descriptive quantitative research methods. The research sample was 33 students of the tadris physics study program who are currently taking basic physics courses 2 even semester 2019/2020. Data collection used a 3-tier diagnostic test. In the concept of current and electric voltage, students who are included in the full understanding category are 26% and 29% understand partially with the low category and the level of misconception reaches 45%. In the concept of ohm law and electrical resistance, it was found that students with a full understanding level of 23% and partially understanding 14% were in the low category and the level of student misconception showed the largest percentage, namely 63% with the high category. In the concept of electrical circuits, students with a full understanding level of 29% and partially understanding 50% and included in the medium category with student misconceptions showed the smallest percentage was 21% with the low category. As a whole, it shows that the average level of students' understanding and misconceptions on dynamic electricity material is still low with a percentage of 26% and partial understanding is moderate with a percentage of 31% and a misconception of 43% with a moderate category. Keywords: Misconception, level of undertanding, 3-tier diagnostic, electricicity.ABSTRAK.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui miskonsepsi dan tingkat pemahaman mahasiswa tadris fisika pada materi listrik dinamis. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian adalah 33 orang mahasiswa program studi tadris fisika yang sedang menempuh mata kuliah fisika dasar 2 semester genap 2019/2020. Pengumpulan data menggunakan 3-tier diagnostic test. Pada konsep arus dan tegangan listrik, mahasiswa yang termasuk dalam kategori pemahaman penuh sebesar 26% dan paham sebagian sebesar 29% dengan kategori rendah dan tingkat miskonsepsi mencapai 45%. Pada konsep hukum ohm dan hambatan listrik didapatkan bahwa mahasiswa dengan tingkat pemahaman penuh sebesar 23% dan paham sebagian 14% dengan kategori rendah dan tingkat miskonsepsi mahasiswa menunjukkan persentase paling besar yaitu sebesar 63% dengan kategori tinggi. Pada konsep rangkaian listrik, mahasiswa dengan tingkat pemahaman penuh 29%, paham sebagian 50% dengan kategori sedang serta miskonsepsi mahasiswa menunjukkan persentase paling kecil yaitu 21% dengan kategori rendah. Secara kesuluruhan rata-rata tingkat pemahaman dan miskonsepsi mahasiswa pada materi listrik dinamis masih tergolong rendah dengan persentase sebesar 26% dan paham sebagian tergolong sedang dengan persentase 31% dan miskonsepsi sebesar 43% dengan kategori sedang.Kata kunci: miskonsepsi, tingkat pemahaman, 3-tier diagnostic, listrik dinamis

AbstractThis research was conducted with the aim to find out how much influence the contextual teaching learning model of learning motivation of Islamic education study program students at the Islamic University of Syekh Yusuf Tangerang. The research method used is a quantitative research method with data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires. The respondents of this study were 25 Islamic education study program students. Based on the results of data processing and discussion, it can be concluded that the contextual teaching learning model has a low effect of 11.56% on student learning motivation. But when testing the hypothesis,   implies that  is accepted and rejected . AbstrakPenelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh model pembelajaran contextual teaching learning terhadap motivasi belajar mahasiswa program studi pendidikan Islam Universitas Islam Syekh Yusuf Tangerang. Metode  penelitian yang digunakan  adalah metode penelitian kuantitatif  dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa penyebaran angket. Responden  penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa program studi pendidikan agama Islam yang berjumlah 25 mahasiswa. Berdasarkan hasil olah data dan pembahasan diperoleh kesimpulan bahwasanya Model Pembelajaran contextual teaching learning berpengaruh rendah 11,56% terhadap motivasi belajar mahasiswa. Namun pada saat pengujian hipotesis,  hal ini mengandung arti bahwasanya diterimanya dan ditolaknya .

This study aims to determine learning outcomes and the scientific attitudes of students at physics education study programs using virtual lab. This type of research is quantitative research. It uses descriptive statistical analysis and inferential stattistics to illustrate data learning outcomes and the scientific attitudes of students at physics education study Universitas Flores using the virtual lab. Data collection techniques used in this study were test for learning outcomes and observatory techniques for the scientific attitude. From the results of descriptive analysis for learning outcomes, it shows that the average is 75,05 in the enough category. The results of inferential statistics show t count is 2,770, sig(2-tailed) 0,011. Because the sig(2-tailed) value of 0,011 is smaller than 0,05, thus it can be concluded that use of the virtual lab influences the learning outcomes. For the scientific attitudes it shows that the average is 76,14 in the enough category. The results of inferential statistics show t count is 3,875, sig(2-tailed) 0,001. Because the sig(2-tailed) value of 0,001 is smaller than 0,05, thus it can be concluded that use of the virtual lab influences the scientific attitudes of students at physics education study Universitas Flores.Keywords: Virtual Lab, Learning Outcomes, Scientific AttitudePenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar dan sikap ilmiah mahasiswa program studi pendidikan fisika Universitas Flores dengan menggunakan virtual laboratorium. Karena nilai sig(2-tailed) 0,011 lebih kecil dari 0,05 hal ini menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan virtual laboratorium berpengaruh terhadap hasil belajar fisika mahasiswa program studi pendidikan fisika Universitas Flores. Lack of teachers’ understanding in students’ learning styles and their teaching could cause unfacilitated teaching methods for example through the use of traditional lecturing methods. This issue brings the importance of this research objective to investigate teachers’ perceptions about learning style, their teaching, and the applied methods in the classroom. This study uses a quantitative research approach that is the analysis of learning style types for different students at different grade levels. To find out the perceptions of English teachers in this study, information was collected through 20 closed questions with data analysis to find out how the learning style influenced the teaching learning process of 28 English teachers. The findings of this study suggest that teachers’ understand about students’ different learning styles, so they adopt their students’ learning styles to their teaching. The last, teachers agree to use group discussion rather than lecturing methods by integrating ICT. In conclusion, teachers’ perception on students’ learning styles can increase their awareness to design teaching methods that differentiate students’ learning styles. Abstrak Kelangkaan pemahaman guru mengenai gaya belajar siswa dan bagaimana cara mengajarnya yang tepat dapat disebabkan oleh metode mengajar yang tidak bersifat fasilitatif, misalnya masih berupa perkuliahan tradisional. Oleh karena itu, penting untuk meneliti persepsi guru mengenai gaya belajar, cara mengajarnya, dan implementasinya di kelas. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif yang fokus pada beragam gaya belajar siswa pada kelas-kelas yang berbeda. Infomasi diperoleh dengan memberikan 20 pertanyaan tertutup untuk mencari tahu bagaimana gaya belajar memengaruhi proses pembelajaran di kelas Bahasa Inggris (28 guru). Penelitian ini menemukan bahwa guru memahami keragaman gaya belajar siswa, sehingga mereka mengadopsi gaya belajar siswa dalam pengajaran mereka. Guru juga sepakat menggunakan kelompok diskusi ketimbang perkuliahan tradisional dengan mengintegrasikan Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi (TIK). Dapat disimpulkan bahwa persepsi guru terhadap gaya belajar siswa meningkatkan kepedulian mereka dalam mengembangkan metode mengajar yang beragam sesuai keragaman belajar siswa.
