Key words: politische Ökologie, Michel Foucault, Gouvernementalität, Repräsentation, narrative Verfahren, rhetorische Strategie, Regulationsmechanismen, Diskursformation, Poetologie ökologischen Wissens, kulturwissenschaftlich ausgerichtete Literaturwissenschaft ‘Political ecology’ has emerged since the 1970s as a powerful discursive formation embracing science, economy and politics. The key concepts with which it operates are System, Equilibrium and Regulation. Modelling, simulation, visual representation, narrative shaping and rhetorical strategies play a key role: dystopian visions of the future are for instance frequently used to justify the imposition of a more authoritarian social order. Literary ecocriticism possesses the necessary methodology for critical analysis of the discourse of political ecology, in practices combining historical contextualisation of representations of environmental problems with investigation of the ‘poetology of ecological knowledge’, examining lead metaphors, narratives and representational techniques.

When George Balandier proposed his theoretical approach to a colonial situation, the colonization of language was not an issue that piqued the interest of scholars in history, sociology, economics, or anthropology, which were the primary disciplines targeted in his article. When some fifteen years later Michel Foucault underlined the social and historical significance of language (‘l'énoncé*’) and discursive formation, the colonization of language was still not an issue to those attentive to the archaeology of knowledge. Such an archaeology, founded on the paradigmatic example generally understood as the Western tradition, overlooked the case history in which an archaeology of discursive formation would have led to the very root of the massive colonization of language which began in the sixteenth century with the expansion of the Spanish and Portuguese empires.

The objective of the analysis is to reveal the discursive strategies employed by marginal political cinema to reproduce the desired effect of objectivity. In this manner, the selection of the documentary genre, the use of voice-over, the inclusion of high impact images and the development of a well-supported argumentation, were the rhetorical strategies employed by the filmmakers of the time to persuade the spectator about the objectivity of the film’s discourse. These conclusions are an extension of the themes covered in the book Marginal Political Cinema. The Forms of Representation of a Dissident Ideology (1966-1976), published in January 2015.KEYWORDSColombian cinema, cinematographic language, history, objectivity, persuasion. arteymemoria_ENTRE LA VÉRITÉ ET L’ILLUSION : LE PARADIGME DE L’OBJECTIVITÉ DANS LE CINÉMA POLITIQUE MARGINAL DES ANNÉES SOIXANTE ET SOIXANTE-DIX EN COLOMBIERÉSUMÉDans cet article, l’image et le contexte historique de trois films colombiens des années soixante et soixante-dix sont analysés : Los hijos del subdesarrollo (Les fils du Sous-développement) de Carlos Álvarez (1975), Chircales de Marta Rodríguez y Jorge Silva (1972), et Camilo Torres Restrepo de Diego León Giraldo (1966).
Since the Supreme Court of Canada affirmed the fishing and hunting rights of the Mi'kmaq nation in 1985 and 1990, the government has failed to accommodate these in appropriate and effective resource management frameworks. In Unama'ki/Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia, the subsistence harvest of lobster and moose by Mi'kmaq has therefore caused cross-cultural conflict and ecological concerns. Since 2006, the Lobster Management Plan (Unama'kik Jakejue'ka'timk) and the Moose Management Plan are being developed under Mi'kmaq leadership to manage the Mi'kmaq harvest communally. These innovative management initiatives will serve as case studies for this thesis to explore how Mi'kmaq negotiate the political ecology of co-management in Nova Scotia and effectively assert Mi'kmaq rights to resource harvest and selfgovernance. Most notably, the management plans employ cultural principles of sustainability and pro-active approaches to cross-cultural communication. This research shows how Mi'kmaq communities have developed resource management capacities and frameworks that can also inspire the self-government aspirations of other aboriginal nations in Canada. Mi'kmaq strategies and experience suggests that aboriginal leadership and cultural principles are integral to the meaningful implementation of aboriginal resource rights. Semi-structured interviews with Mi'kmaq and governmental resource managers illustrated diverse discourses of aboriginal resource rights, ecological knowledge and sustainability. Aiming to represent research insights appropriately, this thesis follows the decolonization agenda of aboriginal methodologies and features reflective discussions of the author's positionality within the Mi'kmaq research community. This also allows for a review of how the author came to terms with conflicting discourses and aboriginal ontologies of ecological knowledge, as well as the requirements for decolonizing research. Supporting reflective insights, a framework of anthropological political ecology and poststructuralist arguments for ontological diversity explain the validity of aboriginal perspectives on ecological knowledge and resource rights, which is the premise of decolonization paradigms. A review of engaging with aboriginal culture both in theory and practice concludes that the practical experience is essential for an appreciation of aboriginal perspectives and thus integral to cross-cultural communication and co-management relationships.

The material turn in social theory has put the study of objects at the centre of any attempt to comprehend the production of social order, but only recently has their affectivity become an important issue. Even in Science and Technology Studies (STS) where objects have been approached as ‘actants’ that actively participate in the material composition and decomposition of various socio-natural orderings, their affectivity has seldom been explored. Diverse scholars from feminist and STS areas stand out for bringing to the fore the affective entanglements between humans and non-humans as constitutive of various ecologies of knowledge production. Our contribution here aims to pursue this further in relation to practices of maintenance, conservation of, and the discarding of everyday objects. We propose the notion of ‘intimate entanglements’ to explore how objects come to matter to us, what makes us care for them, and how they might become companions and our mutual interdependent supporters. Through an artistic research project called ‘Objections’, we asked participants to donate discarded everyday objects and interrogated them about their reasons for keeping, and the conditions under which they chose to keep and maintain, certain objects, while discarding others. We hoped that the notion of intimate entanglements would enable us to approach various ‘objectual’ biographies as stories of companionship and becoming with these objects, where the self is accounted for as a figure that holds and is affected by encounters with the multiple. The consequences that this material shift may have for the political ecology of waste and maintenance studies will be explored in this article, which promises to elucidate some of the ways that waste management systems operate today and perhaps suggest some alternatives.

In this article Afrikaans literary historiography is analysed by means of the discourse-analytical tradition associated with the name of Michel Foucault. Approaching Afrikaans literary historiography as a discursive formation makes it possible to argue that the nationalist-teleological character of the historiography has led to the marginalisation of a number of Afrikaans literary traditions. This argument then identifies the reclamation of these marginalised literary traditions as one of the most pressing tasks of Afrikaans literary historiography, Foucauldian discourse theory is finally used with reference to the alternative conception of history which accompanies it to suggest a solution to the problem of these marginalised Afrikaans literary traditions.

BETWEEN BEHAVIOR, INSIGHTS AND DEVELOPMENTS:The subjects of learning in four movementsENTRE COMPORTAMIENTOS, DISCERNIMIENTOS Y DESARROLLOS: Sujetos del aprendizaje en cuatro movimientosO presente artigo tem por objetivo problematizar a relação entre algumas concepções de aprendizagem e a produção de formas sujeito no campo educacional. Palavras-chave: Teorias da Aprendizagem; Sujeito Discursivo; Psicologia do Desenvolvimento.ABSTRACTThe present article aims to problematize the relationship between some conceptions of learning and the production of subject forms in the educational field. Unfolding such an approach, we discussed what might be the emergence of these subject forms that learn in Skinner's behaviorism, Köhler's Gestalt, and the development of Piaget and Vygotsky. Such conceptions were selected to be revisited because of their relevance in the field of educational psychology and its resonance that resists the understanding of what could be the process of learning. Highlighting the issue from theoretical approaches inspired by the discursive formation proposed by Michel Foucault and in the strata subdivided into visible and articulable by Gilles Deleuze, we understand the mentioned psychological approaches as producers of certain types of subjects as results of learning processes. In this way, we seek to describe how these learning movements and the production of subjects, highlighting the positivity and specificity of each discursive and strategic perspective. Palabras clave: Integración social, Economía de Comunión, racionalidad económica, orden social Abstract I suggest taking the economy of communion as a form of social integration. I suggest understanding social integration focusing on a regulated social order. I understand the "norm”, a key concept of both in a humanistic sense. I argue that science incorporates such humanistic view in their theorizing and research methodologies, because science may contribute to the reconstruction of the economy. As for the method of this paper, this was based on a series of reflections on key concepts and phrases, which were placed in its historical period, announcing its various meanings and uses in sciences, making use of historical data and empirical findings. On April 23, 2018, it was the 40th anniversary of the death of the great French liberal economist, Jacques Rueff. This article reviews his biogra- phy, commenting on his important contributions to economic science in areas such as the exchange rate, public deficit, unemployment or the interventionist imposture with money. To defend real money, Jacques Rueff will be a staunch supporter of the gold standard and will face Keynes directly and before Hayek. This article wonders about the incomprehensible oblivion to which Rueff has been subjected, not only in the official academic environment, but also in the liberal thought, something strange because his contributions, highly ground- breaking with the academy, in many cases are perfectly compatible with the approaches of the Austrian School of Economics (ASE). Keywords: Jacques Rueff, liberalism, monetary reform, gold standard, social order. From Reclus to Harvey, territory resignification in the construction of sustainabilityAbstract: the purpose of this article is to theoretically and conceptually reflect on the territory and its resignification in the construction of sustainability. It refers to the complex systems theory from a constructivist approach, and to geography and political ecology as an approximation to the notions of territorial appropriation, territorialisation, deterritorialisation and reterritorialisation. Deductive discussion of five theses concludes with a postulate that takes up Gunderson and Holling’s proposal (2002) so as to explain the adaptive processes of the socio-territorial systems, which are mediated through dialogic chains. Nowadays, the emerging social movements generate innovations that in a hybrid way recreate concepts such as diversity, autonomy, equity and sustainability. It enables to resignify the political dialogue of the paradigm through the territory among the spaces of hope (antisystemic networks), the exclusive ones (globalized networks) and the ones of despair (fragmented spaces).Key words: territorialisation; socio-territorial movements; sustainability; political ecology; globalization; social systems.
