The article analyzes the current state of the fleet of guided air means of destruction (missiles), the problems of repair and extension of the resource. The article substantiates the need for the transition of guided air missile of the "air-to-surface" class to operation according to the technical condition. The shortcomings of the existing inspection system for the technical condition of guided air weapon are shown. For the existing inspection system of technical operation of guided air weapon, one of the areas that will solve the problem of maintaining the combat readiness of aircraft is the transition to the operation of guided air weapon in technical condition. It is shown that the transition of guided air missiles to operation according to the technical condition and modernization of unguided air missiles involves strengthening the role of operations to measure and control their parameters and characteristics in order to determine the actual technical  condition and make informed decisions about their further operation. Peculiarities of appearance of the Type 1 and Type 2 errors during control of a technical condition of aviation armament are presented. A method of increasing the reliability of air-to-surface missile control equipment by conducting control checks in the inter-check interval is proposed. The fundamental difference between the proposed information-redundant model of operation of guided air missiles and the classic model is the introduction into the system of operation a new diagnostic operation - an intermediate control check. Peculiarities of application of the developed method concerning calculation of both quantity of control checks and their periodicity within an inter-check interval are shown.

The article presents the current state of the available stock of guided air weapons and the problem of transition of guided air weapons to operation according to technical condition. The transfer of guided air weapons to operation according to technical condition involves increasing the role of measurement operations and control of their parameters and characteristics. This will determine the actual technical condition and make informed decisions about further operation. In general, the effective-ness of control a technical condition of aviation missiles significantly affects the readiness for use of aviation equipment and the combat capabilities of this equipment in performance of the tasks. The exciting control model and methods for selecting parameters of technical condition is universal in relation to the variants of construction of the technical maintenance program a guided air weapons allows to conduct research into these indicators. However, this program does not indicate the plural of variant that should be selected if the undetermined influence of different nature factors to carry out a set of maintenance and repair work for guided air weapons. The possibility of using the principle of correlation, when choosing the program of technical operation a guid-ed air weapons during the transition to operation according to technical condition. With the help of the correlation principle, an approach to the choice of the program of technical operation a guided air weapons can be developed in case of unknown infor-mation about the mechanisms of influence of various internal and external factors on the properties of the guided air weapons, their effect on the technical condition and features of the units of aviation guided missile that are not amenable to instrumental con-trol. To implement the control of guided air weapons with using a principle of correlation need to use the results of practical appli-cations of aviation guided missile, including other types of fire tests, sample tests using the physico-chemical analysis of powder and explosive charges.

Oxidative stress has been postulated as an underlying pathophysiologic mechanism of diabetic retinopathy (DR), the main cause of avoidable blindness in working-aged people. This review addressed the current daily clinical practice of DR and the role of antioxidants in this practice. A systematic review of the studies on antioxidant supplementation in DR patients was presented. Fifteen studies accomplished the inclusion criteria. The analysis of these studies concluded that antioxidant supplementation has a IIB level of recommendation in adult Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes mellitus subjects without retinopathy or mild-to-moderate nonproliferative DR without diabetic macular oedema as a complementary therapy together with standard medical care.

Although precapillary pulmonary hypertension (PH) is a rare but severe complication of patients with neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1), its association with NF2 remains unknown. Herein, we report a case of a 44-year-old woman who was initially diagnosed with idiopathic pulmonary arterial hypertension (IPAH) and treated with PAH-specific combination therapy. However, a careful assessment for a relevant family history of the disease and genetic testing reveal that this patient had a mutation in the NF2 gene. Using immunofluorescence and Western blotting, we demonstrated a decrease in endothelial NF2 protein in lungs from IPAH patients compared to control lungs, suggesting a potential role of NF2 in PAH development. To our knowledge, this is the first time that precapillary PH has been described in a patient with NF2. The altered endothelial NF2 expression pattern in PAH lungs should stimulate work to better understand how NF2 is contributing to the pulmonary vascular remodeling associated to these severe life-threatening conditions.

PurposeTo analyse the functional and anatomical outcomes of different types of keratoprostheses in eyes with retained silicone oil following vitreoretinal surgery.MethodsRetrospective chart review of patients operated with any type of permanent keratoprosthesis (Kpro) in silicone oil-filled eyes between March 2003 and June 2017 were analysed.Results40 silicone oil-filled eyes underwent keratoprostheses, of which 22 were type 1 and 18 were type 2 Kpros (Lucia variant—nine, modified osteo odonto kerato prosthesis (MOOKP)—four, Boston type 2—three and osteoKpro—two) with a mean follow-up of 61.54 , 42.77, 45.25 , 25 and 37 months, respectively. Anatomic retention of the primary Kpro was noted in 33 eyes (82.5%). A best-corrected visual acuity of better than 20/200 and 20/400 was achieved in 26 (65%)+32 (80%) eyes. Retroprosthetic membrane (RPM) was the most common complication noted in 17 eyes (42.5%). Perioptic graft melt was noted in 4 of 22 eyes of the type 1 Kpro (2 (10.5%) without associated ocular surface disorder (OSD)) and in 1 eye each of Boston and Lucia type 2 Kpro. Laminar resorption occurred in one eye each of the MOOKP and OKP groups. Endophthalmitis and glaucoma did not occur in any eye.ConclusionAppropriately chosen keratoprosthesis is a viable option for visual rehabilitation in eyes post vitreoretinal surgery with retained silicone oil-induced keratopathy not amenable to conventional penetrating keratoplasty. Kpro melt among type 1 Kpro did not occur in 89.5% eyes without associated OSD (19 of 22 eyes), despite the lack of aqueous humour and presence of RPM (4 eyes), two factors considered to play a significant role in the causation of sterile melts. Of interest to note was the absence of infection in any of these eyes. The possible protective role of oil from endophthalmitis is interesting, though yet to be ascertained.

Understanding the important role of the non-specific immune response in protecting the body against the development of numerous diseases has become partially possible after the discovery of several classes of pattern recognition receptors (PRR), such as Toll-like or NOD-like receptors. A group of cytoplasmic proteins called the inflammasome, which detect PAMP and DAMP through the PRR receptors, is able to activate pro-inflammatory cytokines and trigger an acute inflammatory reaction both in the extracellular and intracellular space. Low-grade systemic and local inflammation contributes to the development and progression of various conditions, including autoimmune and metabolic diseases, such as diabetes, metabolic syndrome and atherosclerosis, which until recently were not even considered inflammatory diseases. This review will discuss the role of innate immunity in the development of type 1 and type 2 diabetes, focusing on the role of specific innate immunity receptors and insulin resistance involved in these diseases pathogenesis.

Abstract The development of unmanned aerial systems (UAS) encountered the problem of controlling the process of technical operation. The literature that is available to the authors lacks credible information concerning the principles of specifying the strategy and control of the process of UAS operation. Hence, it is necessary to recognise and interpret the basic UAS operation features. The purpose of the publication is to present the properties of the UAS as an object of operation and the mutual relation of the technical operation process with the UAS’ technical condition alteration process. We present the results of analyses in terms of functionality and the UAS’ utility potential. The publication pays special attention to the properties of the UAS as an object of operation. The paper includes the analysis of the UAS operation principles and the specification of the advantage and disadvantage of those principles, i.e. using a non-repairable UAS until damaged, using a repairable UAS until damaged, periodical technical servicing, continuous diagnostic operation. The proposals for the control models in the UAS operation system have also been included.

Diabesity term recently coined in medical field because of the very close epidemiological and pathogenic associations between central obesity and Type 2DM. Material and Methods: This review is based on data collected from published research works in various journals. Observations and Results: cited based on research reviews to find out risk odds of obesity and physical inactivity and initiation of type 2 diabetes with solutions based on improve physical activity. Conclusion: Counseling would be one of the best strategies to opt physical exercise with moderate and vigorous intensity recommended as world health organization as healthy behaviour to prevent and control of type 2 diabetes. Thus, Present write up is an effort to critically evaluate and assess the published research data on obesity and its association with development of type 2 diabetes and role of Physical exercises for prevention and control of type 2 DM as its solution with research evidences.
