The world of work is a place of intense competition for each college graduate. Students are faced with developing new solutions to these problems/challenges so they need to practice identifying entrepreneurial opportunities so that the problem of the difficulty of competing in the world of work can be resolved with the emergence of new jobs. In the VCD department in the Visual Study subject using design thinking method as a study material in learning material with the aim of students being able to create a visual communication design that answers existing problems, so that ultimately students have a frame of mind in solving problems in running a business or facing client problems. Based on the results of data processing, the results show that there is a positive influence between design thinking methods on entrepreneurial motivation. Therefore, the role of design thinking methods in influencing student motivation to become entrepreneurs deserves further study.   Keywords: Design, Design Thinking, Visual Study, Entrepreneur, Motivation

Visual-based technology as a medium of contact and alternative solutions in pandemic conditions requires a design role, primarily visual communication design during the coronavirus outbreak. Visual communication design becomes an intermediary bridge for information, education, and recreation media to the community. Various aspects of the design become part of applied art, which has goals and benefits to overcome problems in society. The WHO on March 11, 2020, declared the COVID-19 as a pandemic that affects almost regions of the world, where nearly more than five million people are infected. The technology eliminates distance and is an essential part of the development of visual communication design. Research on technological developments in the field of visual communication design in the application of information and education media in the spread of this pandemic. The qualitative research methods states that this research method is used well in examining the details of the research subject. The natural condition of researchers without engineering, where the research process can describe the process from time to time; b). Inductive analysis, which contains exploration orientation, discovery, and inductive logic, so that theories and patterns are in reality; and c) Description of human behaviour in its natural context.

In recent years, green design has experienced rapid development, but also exposed a series of problems such as high cost, lack of humanization, low recycling rate and so on. For these drawbacks, designers have an unavoidable responsibility. This paper analyzes the existing problems in green design. From the change of design thinking, the eco-friendly design method is explored. In this paper, the design from material selection to production, and then to the recovery of the whole process of overall consideration, follow the principle of reduction, reuse, recycling. The content of visual communication design can be roughly classified. According to their own characteristics, the best design scheme is selected. Through the application of different media, replace the high pollution, high consumption of paper printing. It is proposed that the large-scale promotion of environmental protection materials can be realized by simplifying the quantity and types of materials. At the same time, this paper expounds the implementation method of green design education in art design education in Colleges and universities. This paper fully analyzes the purpose and value of green design education from the curriculum and content, teaching methods, the specific implementation of teaching effect evaluation and evaluation. The results show that promoting sustainable development of green education can cultivate students' creativity, innovation and creative ability. A perfect green design education system and a correct concept of ecological civilization can be established.

<p align="center"><strong>ABSTRACT</strong></p><p><em>Communication is the key to a comprehensive effort to form a positive goal. Planned communication creates certain effects on a large number of audiences that are carried out sustainably over a period of time. Campaigns often use the media as a message sending channel that has been well organized to target targets as planned. The campaign which currently has a high existence is a campaign oriented social mission as a series of planned non-commercial communication processes that contain messages about social problems that occur in the community. In the design process, there are data collection methods and data analysis methods before executing execution. The data collected is in the form of facts, daily targets, and casual diction so that the data can be a creative media that fits the characteristics of the target audience. The author takes the topic The Role of Social Campaign Media With Visual Communication Design due to the author's interest in delivering messages that are made creative and interactive by a visual communication design to be able to make other individuals change their minds.</em> <em>Analysis of this work contains observations related to design elements, campaign media and campaign communication processes designed. The 16 Days Campaign Against Violence Against Communities relies on print ads and interactive ambient ads as an effort to raise awareness of target targets to combat related cases.</em></p><p><strong><em>Keywords :  </em></strong><em>Communication, Design, </em><em>Campaign, Woman</em></p><p align="center"><strong>ABSTRAK</strong></p><p><em>Komunikasi menjadi kunci dari sebuah usaha komperhensif dalam membentuk suatu tujuan yang positif. Kampanye yang saat ini memiliki eksistensi yang tinggi adalah kampanye misi sosial yang berorientasi sebagai serangkaian proses komunikasi terencana bersifat non-komersil yang berisi pesan tentang masalah sosial yang terjadi di masyarakat</em><em>. </em><em>Dalam proses perancangan, terdapat metode pengumpulan data dan metode analisis data sebelum melakukan pengerjaan eksekusi. Data yang dikumpulkan berupa fakta kasus, keseharian target sasaran, serta diksi yang kasual sehingga data tersebut dapat menjadi media kreatif yang sesuai dengan karakteristik target sasaran. Adapun penulis mengambil topik Peranan Media Kampanye Sosial Dengan Desain Komunikasi Visual dikarenakan ketertarikan penulis terhadap penyampaian pesan yang dibuat kreatif dan interaktif oleh seorang desain komunikasi visual hingga mampu membuat individu yang lain berubah pikiran.</em> <em>Analisis karya ini berisikan pengamatan terkait elemen desain, media kampanye dan proses komunikasi kampanye yang dirancang. One of the positions in the field of advertising that quite popular is Art Director. The skill of art directing is a bit much has been represented in the department of Visual Communication Design or Graphic design. But it is sometimes still confused between the duties and role of an art director and a graphic designer. This article gives a general overview of what is meant by Art Director as well as roles and duties.

As a high-efficient travel mode in modern city, the metro can not only relieve the ground traffic pressure, but also become the exhibition hall of the urban culture showing us the soul and value of the city. Metro visual communication design of developed countries in the world is almost closely related to the origin of urban culture, then the metro culture with local specialties has been formed. Therefore, comparative study on status quo of metro visual communication design both at home and abroad can direct the integration and regeneration of urban metro visual communication design and urban culture of China, as well as the formation and development of the metro culture.

Kebutuhan penggunaan karya fotografi untuk elemen iklan cetak saat ini masih tinggi. Iklan cetak di Indonesia 98% menggunakan ilustrasi dengan menggunakan teknik fotografi. Serta, pengetahuan dan keterampilan fotografi telah diberikan sebagai mata kuliah wajib di Perguruan Tinggi yang memiliki Program Studi Desain Komunikasi Visual (DKV). Tujuan tulisan ini adalah untuk mengingatkan betapa pentingnya pelajaran fotografi di desain grafis atau DKV, sehingga penting untuk dikelola dengan baik. Selepas tahun 1990-an dunia fotografi mulai memasuki era teknologi digital yang merubah budaya kerja di industri. Dari ketergantungan pada kemampuan skill manual manusia, berubah menjadi serba komputerisasi (digital). Era analog sedikit demi sedikit telah ditinggalkan karena di era digital kegiatan memotret dan paradigma tentang fotografi sudah bergeser. Dunia fotografi dulu dianggap kegiatan yang sulit dan mahal, namun sekarang relatif murah dan mudah. Teknologi boleh berkembang serta paradigma dapat bergeser, tetapi fungsi dan makna pada karya fotografi tetap penting serta diperlukan dalam desain komunikasi visual. Pendidikan Tinggi DKV tentunya ingin menciptakan sumber daya insani yang kompeten pada bidangnya dan diharapkan dapat memberikan kontribusi optimal di lapangan kerja. Alangkah baiknya apabila lembaga pendidikan mempedulikan profesi yang sesuai dengan levelnya.Kata kunci: fotografi, pendidikan DKV, desain komunikasi visual PHOTOGRAPHY IN VISUAL COMMUNICATION DESIGNAbstractThe need for photography works for printed advertisement is still high. Ninety-eight percents of printed advertisements in Indonesia use illustrations from photography techniques. In addition, the knowledge and skills of photography have been given as compulsory subjects in Higher Education which have a Visual Communication Design Program. The purpose of this paper is to remind us of the importance of photography lessons in graphic design that it is important to be well managed. After the 1990s the world of photography began to enter the age of digital technology that changed the work culture in the industry, from its dependence on human or manual skills into a completely computerized (digital) one. The analogue era has been gradually abandoned because in the digital era photographing activities and the paradigm about photography have shifted. The world of photography was once considered a difficult and expensive activity, but is now relatively cheap and easy. echnology may evolve as well as paradigms may shift, but the function and significance of photography work remain important and necessary in visual communication design. The purpose of a Visual Communication-Design program in Higher Education is to create competent human resources that are able to contribute optimally in the field of work.
