A method is proposed for calculating the product and geographical boundaries of the commodity market based on the initial data obtained by the Antimonopoly authority from sellers and buyers participating in the survey as part of the Antimonopoly investigation. The method includes special terminology, forms of representation of source data, and an economic and mathematical model of the commodity market designed to calculate the boundaries and composition of market participants. The method provides full computerization of processing of initial data received by the Antimonopoly authority from the survey participants. The main differences between the proposed method and the standard method of SSNIP (hypo thetical monopolist Test) are considered.

The article is devoted to the history of foundry production-casting of bells. This art was passed down from generation to generation, there were successful variants, but there were also defective bells. The authors analyzed in detail the different production of slotted bells. Bells are unique single products. They confirm the high level of skill of the master. The loss of sound properties of slotted bells depends on the ratio of the main dimensions, the size of the slits and their locations. The use of complementary methods for measuring mechanical and visualizing sound vibrations allows us to obtain initial data for the development of a mathematical model of sound vibrations of a bell. A continuation of the material about the art of manufacturing and the secrets of production will be published in the next issue of the magazine.

Theoretical and experimental researches of vibration-induction transducer (VIT) outlet signal formed during exposure to normal leakage magnetic field intensity component Hn over the defective area were carried out. Theoretical research is based on an assumption that VIT signal is a trigonometric series that is limited by first five harmonics. As initial data for mathematical model creation, well-known conformities for Hn distribution over the defective area were used. Based on acquired mathematical model conformities of VIT signal harmonical composition permutation during its movement over the defective area with varying amplitudes and vibration frequency were found. Theoretical research results were proven experimentally. Moreover, additional possibilities of this way of magnetic testing are shown in comparison with conventional ones.

Theoretical investigation of the proccess of helium sorption by hollow permeable solid particles (microspheres) is done. Mathematical model of the proccess is derived under the assumption of uneven distribution of radius of microsphere cavity. It's shown that the rate of sorption changes insignificantly for investigated ranges of initial data within normal distribution of microsphere cavity radius

We present a mathematical model for capillary formation in tumor angiogenesis and solve it by linearizing it using an initial data perturbation method. This method is highly effective to obtain solutions of nonlinear coupled differential equations. We also provide a specific example resulting, that even a few terms of the obtained series solutions are enough to have an idea for the endothelial cell movement in a capillary. MATLAB-generated figures are provided, and the stability criteria are determined for the steady-state solution of the cell equation.

This article describes a technique for modeling of wood polymer-sandy composite. Interface input form of initial data for modeling; differential equations underlying the mathematical model are presented. To solve the system of differential and algebraic equations computer program "Program to simulate the struc-ture and mechanical properties of wood polymer-sandy composite" is developed. The program, developed in the environment of Borland Delphi 7.0, programming language Object Pascal, is intended for modeling the mechanical behavior of wood polymer-sandy composite of given composition.

An initial-boundary-value problem for the equationis considered for x, t ≥ 0. This system is a model for long water waves of small but finite amplitude, generated in a uniform open channel by a wavemaker at one end. It is shown that, in contrast to an alternative, more familiar model using the Korteweg–deVries equation, the solution of (a) has good mathematical properties: in particular, the problem is well set in Hadamard's classical sense that solutions corresponding to given initial data exist, are unique, and depend continuously on the specified data.

The article describes the problem of organizing train traffic on line with branches, analyzes possible separate routes on the "trunk" and "branch" sections, and brunched routes. The development of a mathematical model which consider the interests of passengers in a service provided and economic interest of passenger companies are elements of scientific novelty of presented researching. The insufficient disclosure in the existing theoretical base of the issues of train traffic organization on lines with branches confirms the relevance of the research. The deficit of clear requirements for the organization of such lines leads to empirical decisions when operating such facilities. Adhering to the goal of providing a comfortable service for passengers and taking into account economic aspects in the interests of suburban companies, the objective function is minimize the difference between the mileage of available seats (as a condition that reflects the interests of a commuter company) and the overcrowding of the train (as a criterion that ensures a comfortable ride for the passenger). The authors suggest using a genetic algorithm for solve this problem. Genetic algorithm is a tool that allows you to perform a directed search of competitive options. The article describes the method of applying the genetic algorithm, the formation of "parent" variants and "offspring" variants, compliance with a number of restrictions and ranking of offspring variants for the selection of the best "individuals". Before testing the proposed method on a real example, the authors make a preliminary analysis to identify possible shortcomings that require improvement. The possibility of using a mathematical model and a genetic algorithm to find the optimal (or close to optimal) option for organizing traffic on a line with branches is considered on an arbitrary example. The presented calculations can be performed in any analytical software package. In this research, the search for the optimal method to organize traffic on a line with branches was performed in the MS Excel product. Successful calculations on an arbitrary option using the proposed mathematical model and genetic algorithms (as a tool to determine the optimal option of movement), allows us to assume that calculations can be made based on real source data for suburban directions of railway junctions that have lines with branches.
