The goal for many education institutions is the existence of the Smart Campus concept. Smart Campus is the concept of a smart campus to provide maximum service to the entire academic community by monitoring and managing existing resources effectively and efficiently. Smart Campus can also provide appropriate information to students or campus institutions in every activity, or even in unexpected events. In this research, it is proposed to maximize the academic information system which is integrated with the Telegram messenger application. This Telegram application can be obtained for free, lightweight and multiplatform by having a fairly complete and more developed Bot API. Students get real time notifications and can chat / communicate with the Telegram Bot which is designed to provide all the information on STTAL. The admin can upload lecture material into the Telegram Bot then students can download it from the Telegram Bot. There are 11 commands designed in this study as a prototype. This research was tested by trying all the commands provided. This Bot Telegram application is very helpful for study program staff and lecturers to convey information to students especially using this application is quite easy.   Keywords: Smart Campus, Bot Telegram, and Information Media

Lecturer Academic Information System (SIAD) is an academic service facility that lecturers can use to accommodate and manage teachers' activities, including lectures, assignments, communication, and discussions with students.  However, lecturers' obstacles in supporting educational processes include the obstacles of leak of features and items/ service forums in the academic portal /SIAD online. This research aims to find the influence of selecting the system, motivation, and utilization of academic information system lecturers (SIAD) on the performance of lecturers at the Faculty of Economics, University of Prima Indonesia. The study will test the variables both partially and simultaneously. Samples were taken from lecturers recorded in the management study program of 60 people. The test result obtained a calculated value of F (17,866) > F table (2.76) and a probability of significance of 0.000 < 0.05, it was concluded that simultaneously H0 was rejected, which means the selection, motivation, and utilization of SIAD had a positive and significant effect on the performance of lecturers at the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Prima Indonesia Medan. The result of the calculation of the coefficient of determination obtained an adjusted R Square value of 0.462.

One of the information system built in Diponegoro University is Academic Information System. This system manages every process and outcome of academic activities. Academic information system is developed to meet the needs of process and academic data that is also always growing. One of growing academic process is the implementation of Credit Transfer System (CTS). Credit Transfer System is an academic process whereby every Diponegoro University student can attend lectures in subjects that are interested without being tied to courses and curriculum. The realization is that every student can take a course or KRS interest in any study program in Undip. With the implementation of the CTS, the Academic Information System should be developed by adding new features to adopt the system. <span>This research is design of an Attendance Information System titled “Malang City Polytechnic Web Based Student Attendance Information System Telecommunications Engineering Study Program Using Fingerprint”. Students of Malang City Polytechnic are still using a manual attendance system. The attendance system that is still manual has many disadvantages such as data processing, report making and also difficult to monitor student attendance. Therefore, the existence of this system makes it easy to find out student attendance on that day, because it is timely or real time. This system also makes it easy to make monthly reports about student attendance and delay. The design of this system uses PHP Web and MySQL Database connection. The results of this system can create and display monthly reports that have been processed and can monitor student attendance every day.</span>

AbstrakKunci pintu otomatis menawarkan kemudahan untuk mengakses ruangan dengan cara yang lebih efektif dan efisien dibandingkan dengan metode konvensional. Pada penelitian ini sistem kunci pintu otomatis menggunakan QR code dari aplikasi Pocket ITERA yang berbasis Android yang terintegrasi dengan Sistem Informasi Akademik (Siakad). Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu studi literatur mengenai kunci pintu otomatis, eksplorasi, dan spesifikasi alat. Adapun metode analisisnya yaitu analisis kebutuhan dan analisis operasional hardware dan software. Hasil implementasi rancangan menghasilkan sebuah perangkat kunci pintu otomatis berbasis IoT dan dapat dibuka dengan aplikasi Pocket ITERA di mana keduanya berkomunikasi secara realtime dengan database Siakad. Sistem ini berhasil dijalankan dengan baik sehingga pemanfaatan ruang kelas menjadi optimal dan berjalan sesuai jadwal yang telah ditentukan.Kata kunci: Android, Kunci Pintu Otomatis, QR Code, Sistem InformasiABSTRACTAutomatic door locks offer convenience to access the room in a more effective and efficient way compared to conventional methods. In this study, an automatic door lock system using a QR code from the Pocket ITERA application based on Android that is integrated with the Academic Information System (Siakad). The research method used is the study of literature on automatic door locks, exploration, and determining tool specifications. The methods of analysis are need and operational analysis of hardware & software. The results of the design implementation produce an IoT-based automatic door lock device and can be opened with the Pocket ITERA application where both communicate in real time with the Siakad database. Furthermore, this system successfully implemented, hence the utilization of the classrooms became optimal and runs according to a predetermined schedule.Keywords: Automatic Door Lock, Android, IoT, QR code, Infromation System

The globalization process gave birth to an era known as the Industrial Revolution 4.0, which was marked by the existence of Information Communication Technology (ICT) such as artificial intelligence, advance robotic, autonomous vehicles, virtual reality, and cyber-physical systems. ICT raises a major and fundamental change in human life where there has been a shift in activities that were originally carried out in the real world now carried out in cyberspace. All digital and all activities carried out online or internet media. This study aims to obtain the development of the Smart Campus strategy in the Indonesia Naval Technology College (STTAL), to improve excellent human resources. The method applied in this research is to use an operational approach to qualitative analysis on a real strategy implemented. The results obtained are the development of Smart Campus at STTAL carried out with integrated and systemic e-Office, e-Learning, e-Library, and Academic Information System programs. The Smart Campus program development strategy can increase STTAL's human resources to be excellent and advanced. Human resources include professional lecturer resources, smart students, stakeholder partners, and educational employees. The conclusions and contributions obtained are the development of Information Communication Technology (ICT) based on Smart Campus (e-Office, e-Learning, e-Library, and integrated Academic Information System) has a high role to improve professionalism in organizing advanced and quality higher education so that it can produce excellent Indonesian human resources.

Saat ini sebagian besar universitas menggunakan sistem informasi web untuk menyampaikan informasi terkait informasi pendaftaran mahasiswa, akademik, beasiswa, biaya pendidikan dan lain-lain. Dalam hal pelayanan pendidikan, tentunya universitas perlu memberikan layanan yang terbaik, agar para civitas akademik kampus, masyarakat mendapatkan kepuasan terhadap layanan yang diberikan. Penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan aplikasi chatbot yang dapat digunakan sebagai layanan informasi kampus dan akademik bagi masyarakat umum maupun bagi civitas akademik kampus Universitas Lancang Kuning Adapun tahapan dalam pengembangan aplikasi chatbot ini diantaranya adalah pengumpulan kebutuhan, desain, membuat prototype, evaluasi dan perbaikan. Adapun metode yang digunakan untuk pembelajaran chatbot menggunakan Artificial Markup Language (AIML). Knowledge dari aplikasi chatbot ini adalah alamat kampus, syarat pendaftaran, langkah pendaftaran, program studi, jalur kuliah, berapa biasa kuliah dan cara daftar. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian yang telah dilakukan dengan metode whitebox dan blackbox, bahwa aplikasi chatbot dapat berjalan dengan baik sebesar 100%. Sedangkan pengujian menggunakan UAT sebesar 95%. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa aplikasi chatbot mampu menjawab pertanyaan-pertanyaan yang diajukan, sesuai dengan pengetahuan yang telah diberikan sebelumnya. . Kata kunci: Akademik, AIML, Chatbot.   Abstract  Currently, most universities use web-based information systems to provide information on student enrollment, academics, scholarships, fees, and so on.  As far as education services are concerned, of course, universities need to offer the best service to ensure that the campus learning community is happy with the services offered. The goal of this research is to build a chatbot application that can use as a campus and academic information service for the general public and the academic community of Universitas Lancang Kuning.  The phases in the development of this chatbot framework include gathering needs, designing, creating prototypes, testing and improving.  The tool used to learn the chatbot uses the Artificial Markup Language (AIML). Knowledge from the chatbot application is the campus address, registration requirements, registration steps, study program, course path, how many lectures are used and how to register. Based on the results of the tests carried out using the Whitebox and BlackBox methods, the chatbot framework will run 100% . While testing using UAT is 95%.  The Chatbot framework can answer the questions that have been posed, based on the information that has been previously given. Keywords: Academic, AIML, Chatbot

Dirgantara Marsekal Suryadarma University (Unsurya) needs to improve the information system for the students. So that it needs to do a software quality test in SIAKAD and to ensure the feature and the function run well. It has a goal to know the quality of a software by testing from functional suitability, performance efficiency, compatibility, security and maintainability standardized by ISO/IEC 25010. It is done to improve the quality of academic information system to be better. This research analyzed the software quality insurance of academic information system in Unsurya by testing the aspects from main menu such as transcript, study plan, lecturer’s evaluation of learning activity, the print out of exam card, the consultation of academic supervisor, consultation from Head of Study Program and student’s financial. Based on the suitability functional and efficiency performance testing using black box in Unsurya SIAKAD system, it runs well although some functions don’t work well. The result for compatibility in SIAKAD Unsurya, it works in line with the browser in the desktop or mobile.  Based on the security test using audit system, it results the value 90 (B) with 1 medium risk and 9 low risk.   Based on the maintainability test, it results SIAKAD which is able to give a system needed by the students.

The lecturer teaching journal is a device that must be provided by the lecturer after teaching. From the lecturer's teaching jural, it can be known data such as lecture material, courses, meetings, days, times, dates and even the number of students either present or permission and absenteeism. With the development of technology makes people think to be able to work more efficiently. One of them is making a conventional system into a computerized system. For this reason, in the design of a teaching journal information system for lecturers using the R&D (research and development) method and the waterfall model, by utilizing web facilities connected to the internet, the aim is to fill lecturer teaching journals efficiently.In this study a web-based information system was designed using DreamWeaver CS6 and XAMPP 3.2.2. Journal information system testing for teaching lecturers uses blackbox, small scale and large scale testing. With this system, it can make it easier to fill teaching journals of lecturers at the PTI Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Unimuda Sorong From the results of research that has been carried out, the writer implements the results of the research into the Information System Design of Lecturer Journal in the Study Program at the PTI Faculty of Teacher Training and Education, Unimuda Sorong.

AbstractStarting from 2000, the Academic Information System (SIAKAD) could be accessed on-line by the entire academic community of the University of Lampung. SIAKAD used for academic purposes at the University of Lampung, such as card-making Plan Study (KRS), and Study Result Card (KHS). Faculty of Engineering, University of Lampung, which is one of the faculty who are in the shade of the University of Lampung also been wearing SIAKAD on-line for academic administration for its students. But in reality, SIAKAD on-line that used still had some shortcomings, namely, the absence of a recapitulation of how many students pass a graduation period, the average GPA of a graduation, the average GPA per class, how many students graduate, active, Drop Out (DO) a generation in one department, and the average of study period per period graduates. Therefore, in this study there had been made academic information system contains solutions to some of the shortcomings of the SIAKAD on-line used by the University of Lampung and were focused only on the Faculty of Engineering, University of Lampung. The information system was built using the programming language PHP version 5.3.5 and MySQL version 5.0.7 as its DBMS. At first the information system was created on the local host server and then uploaded to the web server of the Faculty of Engineering, University of Lampung. Once the information system was built, the system tested. Testing was done by two scenarios, namely offline scenario and online scenario. In the offline testing, information system that was built could show how average GPA per class, average GPA per period of graduation, student statistics, as well as how many students were active, graduated, not graduated, dropped out (DO), and resigned themselves. Online scenario was done after the system information uploaded to the web server of the Faculty of Engineering. UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta sebagai lembaga pendidikan terkemuka telah memiliki sistem informasi akademik yang dapat menangani permasalahan pada bidang akademk, kemahasiswaan, keuangan dan kepegawaian. Sistem informasi akademik ini dapat diakses melalui browser pada pengguna komputer desktop, namun belum mendukung secara optimal untuk tampilan smartphone, sehingga user seringkali kesulitan untuk mengakses informasi yang ada pada sistem informasi akademik tersebut, dengan latar belakang tersebut penulis merancang sebuah aplikasi mobile sistem informasi akademik berbasis android yang dapat digunakan untuk mengakses menu pada role mahasiswa dan dosen sehingga dapat menampilkan informasi yang ada pada sistem informasi akademik dengan antar muka yang lebih optimal pada smartphone android, untuk pengembangannya aplikasi ini dibuat menggunakan bahasa pemrograman  Java, Xml, dan Json dan terhubung secara real time  ke database sistem informasi akademik. Metode pengembangan sistem yang digunakan adalah RAD (Rapid Application Development). Dengan aplikasi ini mahasiswa dan dosen dapat mengakses informasi dari sistem informasi akademik melalui aplikasi smartphone android, dan diharapkan aplikasi ini dapat menjadi cikal bakal pengembangan aplikasi android untuk semua modul dan fitur yang ada pada sistem informasi akademik UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta.Kata kunci: Sistem informasi akademik, android, aplikasi mobile, RAD, AIS Mobile, AIS Android
