This research is entitled “The Effect of Accrual Reliability, Debt Level and Cash Flow Volatility on Earnings Persistence”. The research question is “Is the persistence of earnings is affected by accrual reliability, debt levels and cash flow volatility? The research objective is to examine empirically the effect of accrual reliability, debt levels and cash flow volatility on the earnings persistence. Accrual reliability, level of debt and cash flow volatility are independent variables in this study while earnings persistence is the dependent variable. This study used secondary data in the form of annual financial statements of sample companies, namely basic industry and chemicals sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the period 2014-2018. The sample selection method used was purposive sampling method. In total, there were two 12 sample companies in this study. This study used multiple linear regression data analysis technique including classical assumption test, F-statistical test and hypothesis testing. The results showed the accrual reliability and cash flow volatility had no effect on earnings persistence, while the level of debt had a positive effect on earnings persistence, and therefore, the second hypothesis is acceptable.

ABSTRACT This study aims to examine operational cash flows, debt levels, and firm size against earnings persistence, in moderation with an audit committee. Samples are 25 mining companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for 5 years. The results of the study prove that operational cash flows, debt levels have a significant effect on earnings persistence, firm size has a negative effect on earnings persistence. The committee of committee can moderate the effect of cash flow on earnings persistence. The audit committee cannot moderate the influence of the level of debt and company size on earnings persistence. The results of the study are expected to be a consideration for investors in investing in the capital market. Decision-making should be based on financial ratios, among others, operational cash flow, debt level and company size, and for issuers expected in business expansion must consider financial ratios, including operational cash flow, debt level and company size. The study was conducted to investigate the effect of KAP size, solvency, audit tenure, and complexity of operations on audit delay. The data used are secondary data derived from the financial statements of mining sector manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2015 - 2018. The sample selection is done by purposive sampling, so that the total sample can be obtained as 57 samples. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression processed with the SPSS 22 program. The results of the study simultaneously show that the size of the KAP, solvency, audit tenure, and complexity of operations affect the audit delay. While the research results partially state that the solvency and complexity of operations have an influence on audit delay, while the KAP size and audit tenure have no effect on audit delay. From the results of the study, is expected to assist auditors in identifying factor - factor that affect audit delay in optimizing performance and as a material consideration for investors in making investment decisions. This study aims to determine whether cash flows and accrual earnings affect on stock returns that contained information about investors reaction in manufacturing industries on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from the 2013-2017 period. This research is a quantitative study using secondary data in the form of financial reports. The data analysis technique used is multiple regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that the cash flow statement has no effect on stock returns, while accrual earnings have a positive effect on stock returns. This finding can be one of the additional literature in the field of financial accounting because investors see the earnings information contained in the income statement compared to the cash flow statement that is reflected in stock returns.

The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the variable Current Ratio, Total Debt to Total Assets, Total Assets Turnover, Return on Assets, on earnings persistence. This study used secondary data, namely the annual financial statements of automotive companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from 2014-2018. The sample selection used a purposive sampling method. The data source is the financial ratios of automotive companies listed on the IDX. Methods of data analysis used the classic assumption test, multiple linear regression, T-test, F-test, and the coefficient of determination. The results showed that partial earnings persistence expressed in financial ratios consisting of the Return on Assets (ROA) significantly affect earnings persistence, while the Current Ratio (CR), Total Debt To Total Asset (TDTA) and Total Asset variables and Total Assets Turnover (TATO) has no significant effect on earnings persistence. Results of the simultaneous test, financial ratios consisting of CR, TDTA, TATO, and ROA had no significant effect on earnings persistence. R Square value of 0.076 can be interpreted that CR, TDTA, TATO, and ROA of 7.6% while the remaining 82.4% is influenced by other variables not examined

Dividend policy is the company's decision to pay part or all of the profits earned to shareholders specified in the GMS (General Meeting of Shareholders). The independent variables in this study are net profit (profitability) measured through ROE, cash flow and debt (leverage) as measured through DER. While the dependent variable in this research is dividend policy measured by DPR. The purpose of this research is to test and analyze whether ROE, cash flow and DER have significant influence to DPR on Service and Investment Company listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange period 2012-2014. This study uses secondary data with documentation study method in the form of annual financial statements of the company from 2012-2014. The approach used in this research is quantitative with purposive sampling sampling method. Of the 60 companies, only 17 companies were selected to meet the criteria for sampling. Data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. The value of R Square (R²) is 0.328 which indicates that the variation of dividend policy variables can be explained by variation of net income, cash flow, and debt variable by 32.8%. The results showed that simultaneously net income, cash flow and debt have a positive and significant impact on dividend policy. Partially net profit (profitability) has no significant effect on dividend policy, cash flow has positive and significant influence to dividend policy, and debt (leverage) have a significant effect on dividend policy.

Keywords : Profitability; Cash flow; Leverage; Dividend Policy
